Mandy may have hugged Barth and bit back a sob of relief.

"Hey," Barth said, looking up from the gun and trailing off a particularly nasty string of curses that had been steering towards the magical. "...it worked."

He checked the settings, flipped a switch, and the wench began to leisurely reel West back towards the boat. He still felt queasy from the rage, as though he'd wandered into unfamiliar territory. And angry at West for putting him through it. And...and...exhausted.

Sharra, whose gun had jammed, and had sat there fiddling with it with a sort of half-panicked and entirely vexed expression, looked to Barth with a grand sense of amazement and utter relief. Honestly, he would have been rather distraught had something happened to West, and he could only have imagined Yaya's reaction...she would have been inconsolable. Making his way over to the side, he leaned over, watching as the sloth-demon reeled in the sopping wet boil. "Ah...let's not do that again..." He muttered to himself, running a claw through tousled hair.

"Y'gonna be all right there, West?" He called over, gnawing at his lower lip with subtle concern. The other demon was a friend, after all, not always the best of friends, but then...who expected a wrath demon to get chummy all the time?

Being BFFs with animals have its benefits - animals trust Malcolm more and tend to linger around his boat. While travelling, it comes in handy as its basically fast food - feeling tired? Shoot an angry bird out of the sky! The rage in the bird will provide you with stamina. How much depends on the roll (limited once per day).

Malcolm will roll 1 10-sided dice, the amount rolled corresponds to the bird that appears and thus, the HP gained by consuming the bird.

1-2 = +1 HP
3-4 = +2 HP
5-6 = +3 HP
7-8 = +4 HP
9-10 = +5 HP

All that yelling had attracted the attention of a certain bird later that day. A certain bird who is really angry at all the yelling that had been going on, and was getting ready to dive bomb the boat responsible for all the noise with its bowels full of poop - until it spotted Malcolm. If it could, its expression would resemble this: heart _ heart It flew around the mast before descending, singing a love song for the Shaman. Unfortunately, it got shot down - literally - by its beloved, using a slingshot and a small pebble.

"Hm, West, go pluck its feathers and cook that would you?" Malcolm pointed at the now unmoving and obviously dead bird on the deck, "It'll help you regain some stamina instantly..."

He then paused, looking thoughtfully at the students before looking at the sea, "I think its about time we clean the ship up a bit... I did some morning cleaning before all of you woke up, but I think Vlad left some invisible puddles of pee around to 'mark his territory'... Take a mop and pill of water from the kitchen and swab the decks please."

Game:
Time to clean up after Vlad! The invisible dog is just feeling odd on a boat, so it had been peeing quite a bit. Roll 1 100-sided die to swab the decks. If your roll was:

1-30: You stepped on Vlad poo/pee while cleaning! Ew.
31-50: You managed to get by without any accidents!
51-80: You managed to get by without any accidents and cleaned up Vlad's pee!
81-100: You managed to get by without any accidents and cleaned up Vlad's poo!

Sepheran felt a wash of relief as he heard West had been pulled out of the sea, and even more when the voice of Malcolm was heard. He had been wondering when the teacher would show up to help, better late then never he supposed. They could leave West in the hands of the Professor.

The basilisk blinked when the ToTer screamed about their raging earlier. Sepheran flushed slightly, embarrassed about his earlier outburst. Well it all worked out in the end though right? And he got a nice silver pumpkin seed and slingshot in the process.

Sepheran was ready to hit the bunks once more, all this raging having made him tired...then Malcolm mentioned invisible pee. Well...he certainly didn't want to step in that...he'd clean up if only not to have to worry about it later. And so he did, and he managed to get by without accidents and cleaned up a nice pile of pee he managed to find. He was lucky he didn't slip in it.

West continued flailing for a few seconds after Mandy's show of marksmanship had injured the overly amorous squid, and as such, his body was in a particularly awkward position when he hit the water. For a moment he blacked out, sputtering back to consciousness when he sucked a breathful of brackish water up his nose. He tried swimming for a few minutes, but at that point R.A.G.E. seemed impossibly far away and his arm hurt from all of the movement. Better to hold still and see if he floated any nearer on his own. Soon it became obvious that in addition to viciously prodding the crazy tentacle monster with some sort of gun thing, it appeared his fellow students were now attempting to rescue him. Would wonders never cease? If they were going to go to all that trouble...

The wrath demon didn't move much at all after that except to keep himself afloat. As he drifted closer to the boat again, he began to hear frustrated cursing over the crash of the waves around him. No sound could have made him happier. By the time he was dragged back up onto the deck, West was exhausted, but in a frightfully good mood. So good, in fact, that he actually snarkily thanked everyone before being led down to the sick bay. Good show, rageboat, good show.

Unfortunately, his exhaustion didn't seem to fade much as time went on. Perhaps that was why he was so eager to clean and cook the bird that Professor Malcolm brutally murdered several hours later. When he heard that eating it would make him feel better, West couldn't even bring himself to care that the (not really) old man had made all of their former slingshotting attempts look like amateur nonsense in a matter of seconds. He nodded and hobbled across the deck to retrieve the thing before disappearing down into the kitchen again. It's not a limp, it's a pimp walk.

West glared around the room at the variety of cooking implements scattered about and sighed. While he had been perfectly adequate at hacking meat to death, he had no idea how to pluck feathers or really cook anything by himself. He sat on a stool and stared at the bird carcass for a full minute before picking up a large knife and chopping the thing in half. He then clumsily yanked off all of the skin with one hand, threw the two bloody hunks on a tray and slid the whole mess into the oven. Several hours later, he ventured back up to the deck, half a burned bird in his hand and his tentacle hickeys safely under the cover of clothing. No one needed to see all that, really.

At first glance, it appeared that everyone else had gone insane while he was recuperating, but then West saw Vlad scampering past and put two and two together. Ick. He would get right on that whole cleaning thing. Later.
