Boisterous laughter filled his sensitive ears and Vanya scowled faintly, looking up to see which of the drunks was making so much noise. His eyes widened in surprise to see one of the men dancing with Usagi. Only Usagi looked like she didn't wish to dance. Without realizing it, Vanya had stood, growling low under his breath, and slipped over, grabbing the man's arm and twisting it behind his back.
"The lady doesn't want to dance, and you would do well to heed her request." He fairly snarled in the man's ear, too low for anyone to hear. Gently, he pulled Usagi away, wrapping his own arm around her shoulders protectively, and let the drunk go, subtly shoving him into a table and leading Usagi back to his own spot. "Are you OK?"

Usagi was surprised to feel that the man had stopped moving and seemed rather scared. She heard what sounded like a growl and before she knew it, she was taken and almost protectivly led to a table. When she heard it was Vanya she sighed in releif.
"Oh Vanya, thank you, I'm alright if not a bit disgusted" she assured him. "Thank you for helping me, i'm honestly surprised to see you still here." she said honestly her face a bit blushed now that she realized it was him who had his arms around her.

The Lycan flushed a little, pulling out a chair for her to sit and sitting down himself, rubbing the back of his head in embarrassment. "It was nothing really. You obviously didn't want to dance and he was too drunk to tell his arse from the back of a horse." He tapped his fingers a little, warily watching the drunk's buddies as the helped him up, in case any of them decided to try something. "Are you hungry?"

Usagis stomach growled as if on que and she sat down laughing. "Yes, actualy I havn't eat in about day or so" she confessed looking a bit ashamed of herself. she had been a bit busy though... She looked around unsure of what was in her surroundings.

Vanya chuckled lightly, thinking. "Well, I don't know what different foods are here. I just ordered whatever the waitress said was best." As if she had heard him, the waitress set his food down with a saucy wink, taking the coins he handed her and sashaying her way across the room. He sniffed slightly, wrinkling his nose a little, and poked at the fried mass on his plate. "I think that's a fry..." He muttered, squinting at the pile of greasy food. "Or is it a pickle?" Shrugging, he took a bite, blinking in surprise when it actually tasted decent. Looking up, he tilted his head. "You want some? Or shall I call her over again so you can order something?"

Usagi laughed at his quizical tone as he tasted the food. She smiled again when the waitress walked away and he snorted. He must not have liked her. She nodded. "I'll just share so that neither one of us is waisting anymore money." she answered taking a bite of the food. "MMM" this is good" she sighed.

Mouth full of greasy-fried goodness, Vanya stayed silent, attempting to ignore the shiver that ran down his spine at the sound of her laugh. Swallowing, he took a sip of water before tilting his head at her, frowning slightly. "Usagi, you said earlier that you would be in trouble when you got home... yet, you're here, with me of all people. I can't help but be curious as to why you aren't grounded or something." He asked carefully, fully aware of how well a drunk could remember things when they found it interesting.

Usagi frowned when he brought it up. She had hoped that he would overlook it. She sighed. "To be honest there are too many unwlecome ears here, I would prefer to tell you someplace else?" she offered smiling a little although it was tight and a bit reserved. To be honest SHE wanted to know why she was here. It was..odd.

Smiling lightly, Vanya let the matter drop and took another bite, humming absently and looking around, eying the woodwork on the walls and ceiling.

He takes the glass and lightly taps it to his forehead "Heh my apologies the wisky seems to be going to my head I didn't mean to seem like a know-it-all" he takes one last sip which finishes the glass "You can call me Mengsk Its a pleasure." He extends his hand in greeting as he dose you feel a low pulse of energy spread outwards from him but it wasn't nothing to special after all he was a Mage.

Rubi sighed as she walked along the streets, nibbling at the shishkabob in her hand. Looking around she let her eyes take in every possible detail: the beautiful textures of a womans dress, the flames of the BBQ in the various food stalls. The light refracting off of glass bottles standing or laying on the sides of the streets, usually accompanied by one or many drunks. She smiled softly as the scene seemed fairly happy and no one seemed to be afraid.
She ignored the eyes that she could feel on her body as she walked at a calm pace. She wore a navy blue half top [[one that shows the stomach]] that was off shoulder and long sleeved. Below she wore a black wrap, knotted at the hip and letting one leg flow out to be seen while the other was hidden behind the fabric. On her back was her sealed sheathe that held her beloved spear, the strap against her chest though not too tight.

Usagi "looked" down at the table and fell silent. "Vanya.....what do you see?" she asked softly. "I was born blind so I don't know what things look like..." she trailed off. She was realy curiouse as to how she looked to him..or to anyone, and what it was that he looked at when talking, or sitting silent like he was now.

Vanya blinked, having never thought about that before. "Well... what do you want me to tell you about?" He asked, tilting his head a little to look at her.

Usagi shrugged. "Everything how you see people, colors, shapes....me" she trailed off careful not to look like she was interested in him in more than just freinds.

In the form of: "Don't worry about it." Sarah said coolly. "I'd rather have someone be optimistic about it and seem to know all rather than someone telling me it will never happen." Sarah looked over her shoulder. She could have sworn she heard somehting familliar, her eyes scanned the place. "Yes. Yes it is, Mengsk. Quite the pleasure to meet someone like you."
Her eyes found Usagi and that mutt, Vanya. It made her skin crawl a bit. She wanted to go over there and beat them both sensless. Talking and laughing like they had no care in the world. She turned back around. She wanted to get out of here, suddenly. She finished off her glass. She quickly devised a reason to get out of here. "Hey. You're a fighter, right?" She asked, raising a brow and giving him a sideways glance. "How would you like a match with yours truly? I am pretty skilled with the blade, if I do say so myself." Sarah Mae Beverly
