"I'd like to think so." Riyo nodded, a small smile finally overtaking her face. "Never considered my mother to be much of a family... And the way my father acts I'm not quite sure we'll ever see eye-to-eye."
Looked like they weren't too far from the dorms now. "I guess I owe you an apology. I didn't mean to ruin the evening... And if I knew these things would happen, I wouldn't have even attempted to go outside today." She sighed, twiddling her fingers behind her. "I hope my father acting like a b*****d won't chase you guys away..."
She especially felt indebted to Klyde now, the more she thought about what he'd done for her today. As if things weren't hard enough in their relationship...
[The longer the fight continued, the more dangerous the situation became. If Jess would've stopped and just listened, he would've realized a lot of things... But since that was his main malfunction...
The way Klyde talked really got under his skin. Honestly, how could this vampire be so sure that his daughter was wrapped around his cold finger? The thought infuriated him so much that he neglected to try and move when his opponent lunged toward him and hit him in the gut. "Nngh!" He spat, a hand reaching to touch his now severely sore stomach. Falling to one knee, he looked up at Klyde with contempt. He'd been avoiding using his powers, but with the squishiness of his body being called into question, a tendril similar to the one's Riyo occasionally used appeared over the vocalist's shoulder. "I'm done playing nice." He hissed, not realizing that his daughter was looong gone.

For a moment, Shun raised his brow, but didn't say anything initially. Looking at the movie, it didn't look like something he would particularly choose on his own, but it didn't seem like it'd be like... My Little Pony.
"Sounds good. Do you want to go ahead with that?"
--
"Yeah... sure doesn't seem that way right now," he mused before glancing over towards her again. Blade shook his head at her apology and gave a small, amiable smile.
"You don't need to apologize. If anything what happened affected you the most. It's.. not like you had any control over any of this anyway. I mean, what seriously are the chances of running into your long lost father in the middle of a rock concert?"
"I can't speak for Klyde but... as long as you want me around, I'll stick by."

Mitsu's eyes lite up with the go ahead. "Sure." Setting the movie up she scooted back sitting on the floor ready to watch it. "Do you want me to go get any snacks?" She could still get them something since she was going to pay for the movie after all.
----
Klyde's expression wasn't much different than Jess' as he looked down on the man. If he would have used what little brain power he had he would have took off right then and there while he had the upper hand. But instead he stuck around like a cocky b*****d, at least until the familiar looking magic appeared over Jess' shoulder.
If Klyde could have paled he would have at the sight, though he did his best to keep his facial expression from showing his fear. Taking a step back a slight grin started to form on his face, though it was a little awkward bordering on being nervous. "You were being nice? Good to know. I'll keep that in mind for later."

"Chances are pretty good if you have my luck, actually." Riyo pointed out, shoving her hands into her pockets and glancing up at the sky, walking slowly now that they were out of harms way (she hoped). "I've looked over the events of my life very carefully more times than I can count, and bad coincidences just seem to pop up every time I convince myself I won't. I guess I shouldn't be surprised by much anymore. But she still was. All the time.
Smiling momentarily at Blade's reassurance, she seemed to hang on the first part more than the second. Klyde had said something very similar to her... Would it hold true through this?
Taking in a deep breath, Jess smirked like a cocky b*****d. "You don't look so good all the sudden. What? Did you think you could kick my a** just because you're a vampire?" Folding both of his arms, the long black extension came flying at Klyde, the end balling up like a fist. It was obvious killing was not his intent, and his control of magic was significantly better than his daughters.

Since Riyo had slowed down, Blade did the same, though not until he had peeked over his shoulder to make sure they weren't being tailed by any stragglers. Glad to see that they were seemingly in the clear, he let out a breath and faced forward once again.
"So... if you had the chance to just... completely start over without any of that, you'd probably jump on it, right?"
Not that he could blame her.
---
Thinking on it for a moment, Shun shrugged lightly.
"It couldn't hurt, if you'd like something, I wouldn't mind having a snack. Anything is fine," he said with a small shrug.

"Sure, I'll be right back." Mitsu left to only returned shortly after with her arms full of snacks. She had gotten a variety of things from chips to cookies.
Taking a seat Mitsu got comfortable ready to watch the movie. She was glad things had quieted down for the evening because surely nothing could happen to them in the room.
((I dunno if you want to keep rping them or not just sitting in the room watching a movie lol Not sure what else can happen.))
---
Klyde growled a little but the smile was still in place as he just barely managed to side step the incoming attack. The black fist just barely missed hitting him in the face as it whizzed passed, but thankfully Klyde was a little faster...for the moment. "You seemed to have missed my original intent." Klyde glanced over to see that Riyo was long gone now. "I was just buying time."
The vampire was thankful that Riyo's father wasn't out for blood. He had seen what Riyo was capable of so he could only imagine her father was more powerful. If the vocalist was in a killing mood...he had a feeling this would be a whole different ball game.

Riyo seemed a little perplexed by Blade's question. Had he asked a couple of months ago, she would've answered 'YES!' without a moment's hesitation... But things had changed.
"Well Blade, even if there was some magical button labeled 'restart' on my life, there's no guarantees I'd be better off. There's every chance things would be worse." She mused, glancing at her feet and the ground underneath them. "There's also every chance I would've never met you guys."
Granted, if she'd never met them, she probably wouldn't miss them either. But what was the point now? Everything was... Alright, to say the least. There were still problems, but they weren't unmanageable... At the moment. "The past is the past. Even though elements from my past have snuck back into my life, it's not like I'll relive it. New experiences and all that bullshit." She sighed, realizing full well that if she was upset, she'd be singing a different tone.
Jess was about to swing back for the next attack, but Klyde's words made him freeze. Immediately he turned to look over his shoulder, eyes moving towards the last place he saw his daughter. That little b*****d.
For a moment, all the vocalist wanted to do was pound the s**t out of this kid who was continually trying to foil his 'innocent' plans, but instead the ooze withdrew back to it's creator, his arms folding as he stared at Klyde. "Looks like you win the round, kid." His words were seething. Jess was a man who didn't like to admit when he'd been beaten (though what man did?), but he knew when he'd lost. "But I'm sure you realize this isn't over."
It was at that time the press also realized that the mysterious new girl had disappeared without a trace. What a disappointment.
Turning around, Jess shoved his hands in his pockets and turned towards the direction they'd came from, intent on going back to the tour bus... for now. Sure, he could try and find his daughter, but he was sure his band was probably pissed at him. "You'll be seeing me again."

Riyo had a point in her words, as the young thief listened to her answer carefully. Smiling faintly, he was glad to hear that she had somewhat of a positive outlook on all of this. Though, whether or not she'd keep that was a good question. While he couldn't say he knew how she felt with this, he had to imagine that all the recent developments here are a bit much to deal with. It didn't really seem traumatic, but it would probably need some adjusting for sure. Especially now that the press got wind of who she was.
"Well.. if things get rough and things seem a little overwhelming..just know we're hear for you, ok?"

"It's over for now," Klyde couldn't help but smirk as Jess drew back, the fight seemingly coming to an end. Oh, he knew this wasn't over. It was only just beginning he had a feeling. There were some...interesting times ahead no doubt.
"Heh, later then, Old Man," Klyde did his best to push his way through the press and media still standing around. His face would no doubt be posted all over the papers and news for days to come. How pleased would his father be considering he was already in deep s**t? It was hard to say but he knew 'Hey dad I punched a celebrity in the face' wasn't going to go over well.
Taking off in a run before he could be stopped for further questioning, Klyde ducked down an alleyway. He wasn't dumb enough to head toward school just yet. They would no doubt follow him there if they saw the general direction he was headed, so instead he decided to take a round about route to where he wanted to be.
((Klyde is so going to get the bouncer job BECAUSE he punched a celebrity in the face :'D))

"I know." Riyo replied softly, looking up at the dorm building with a small, almost unnoticeable smile. "Right back at you Blade." She sighed and parked herself on a bench. "I appreciate you getting me out of that pinch..." Her eyes looked to the direction they'd just come from as if she expected to see somebody. "But now I have to wait for a certain someone. I'll talk to you in school tomorrow, alright?"
A couple of reporters had attempted to follow the strange young man, hoping to get an exclusive interview, but the expensive equipment began to slow them down, and one by one they stopped giving chase.

Pausing as Riyo planted herself on a bench, Blade nodded lightly while glancing back as well. He guessed she was going to be waiting for Klyde. Briefly, he wondered how the vampire fared after they managed to break away, but he didn't dwell on it.
"Alright, see ya later," he said before heading on to the boys dormitory, ready to relax for the night.

It took a while for Klyde to circle around and head back to the dorms but thankfully it didn't appear as if he was being followed. Once he was actually on the path back to school he relaxed a little, his face a little hollow as he thought over the day's events coupled with his week. It wasn't until the dorms were in sight and a figure sitting on a bench caught his eye that he forced a smile back on his face. He had done this for her after all and he would do it again.
Approaching the bench, Klyde took a seat beside the feline. His face held a light bruise from the punch but it was already fading and his torso was a little sore but come tomorrow it would be gone. "Are you, alright?" He knew she hadn't been hurt but as far as emotions go today had been full of them.

By the time Klyde had finally got back to the dorms, Riyo had started to doze off on the bench, but she didn't stay that way when she heard approaching footsteps. Looking up at the vampire, she folded her arms and forced herself to look unimpressed. "So why was that restaurant manager so unhappy to see you?" She asked, ignoring his question for now.

Klyde's expression fell a little when Riyo ignored his questioned and asked one of her own. One he really didn't want to answer. There was no glad to see you, thanks for giving me a chance to escape just right to the problem. It must have been how Riyo felt when he had asked her right off the bat if she had asked Blade along....ouch.
"Glad you're alright," Klyde sighed a bit before leaning back into the bench. "You heard the story right from his mouth. I got in a fight with someone after they called me a brainless leech." That was only the tip of the iceberg though, the story ran so much deeper. "The manager didn't appreciate me trying to stab the guy in the temple with a fork. At the time it seemed like a logical method of dealing with the problem."

Leaning in close to him, Riyo looked Klyde directly in the eyes as if she could see right through him. "There's something you're not telling me." It wasn't a question, it was a fact.
"We both saw how in love that man was with money. You could've easily paid him off and that man would've kissed your a** just like he did tonight. Now tell me what's going on."
