Deimos nodded in agreement. "May as well get that dumb class over and done with then...." He said, looking downwards at the lon g descent that waited for him. Sighing he rapidly concluded that he didn't really want to climb all the way down so he did the only logical thing that came to him.
He jumped.
Smiling as the wind rushhed passed him, he grapsed the tips of his cloak, openinging it slightly, like a parachute as he approached the ground. The air caught inside and it opened up, slowing his descent until he landed, with a slightly stumble, onto the ground.. "Come on! We don't want Bax thoughing a fit now do we, Aph!"

Lenore, surprisingly, had stayed behind while everyone else went off for break. She sat at her desk and reread her notes, coloring in her doodles and playing with shadows in the room. She made one on the floor warp into a scary-looking grinning face, and giggled as she willed it to snap its teeth at a fly buzzing past its nose.
She sighed and looked around, suddenly wishing she'd gone to follow Rex and King.

Both twins returned just then, one a little sweaty and the other feeling quite satiated with food. There was no doubt where the twins had visited during break - first their room for King's 'snack', then the gym for a short practice of free-throws.
As usual, Rex had gotten carried away during practice, so there was no time at all for him to return to his room for a quick shower to get himself clean for the next part of the lesson. He made his way to his seat. Noticing Lenore was still there, he nodded, smiling, and reached for his backpack.
"Hey Lenore. You're back early." He plopped himself down on his seat, not caring if it broke under his weight or not. Withdrawing a dark blue and black sports bottle from the bag, his unscrewed the top and emptied it off its contents.

Glancing up at Rex, Len smiled with distinct shyness and looked back down at her notes.
"I never left," she said. "I just didn't want to do anything."
She finished coloring a doodle before looking up again.
"I'm sorry I don't talk to you too much when you're around. I don't mean to be rude, it's just I get excited when I see King," she said, biting her lip. "I like dinosaurs a lot, so seeing a real live one... heh, yeah." She smiled and stuck her hand out.
"But it's nice meetin' you too, Rex. Really."

Ike stood in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe with a ball of light floating above his outstretched palm. He watched his friends get acquainted, or whatever it was they were doing, and then entered again.
"Yellu, guys."

"No worries." Rex winked, wiping water from his mouth with the back of his hand. He was not one to begrudge someone for ignoring him. The boy tossed the bottle back into his bag, coverless or not, and wiped his hand on his shirt, before reaching out for Len's outstretched hand. "Nice to meet you too," he said, smiling.
King panted, not that he was hot or anything. Great, back in class. Clearly the tyrannosaur dislikes these classes - there were nothing interesting to see, and much less to do.
Spotting Ike in the doorway, King muttered something like a 'hrff', and leaned towards him, curious about the strange looking 'ball' in the boy's hand.
"Uh?" Sensing King's pull, Rex turned around just as Ike spoke, and his eyes lit up at the sight of him. "'Ey Ike, c'mon over!"

Len shook Rex's hand and laughed just to do something, and waved at Ike.
"Heya Malachi!" she said, her attentions drawn to the Shiny Thing almost instantly. "Ooooh..."

Seeing the odd gazes the ball of light was getting, he extinguished it in his fist and reclaimed his seat at the table. He had nothing to say, and so just smiled.

Baxterfullous smiled, looking at the watch on her wrist he waited as his students returned. "I'm very glad you all returned early and on time, if everyone makes it back and in their seats before I begin you'll all get a very nice surprise."
"Hehe! I'll race you!" She grinned as she flew out of the room and itno the hallway.

Surprise?
Ike's ears fell.
He really, really didn't like surprises.

Len tried her best to choke back a slightly derisive snort. She could hardly think of anything school-related being a surprise they'd like.

Rex turned around in his seat, looking at Bax blankly. Surprises?
Whatever could they be?

Baxterfullous smiled again, waiting, there was still a few minutes left until he needed to begin the last half of class, but he best decided to wait. Through the break he was going over in his mind about his...surprise, whether or not it was worth it.
Zooming her way down the hallway she darted past the door and into Rexier's chest. "Aieeek! - Oof... " she landed on the desk with a soft thud. "Heh.. I guess I should watch where I'm going." She blushed.

Ike peered down at Di and grinned, remembering how, exactly, they'd first met. He unconsciously rubbed the spot between his eyes.
