"A-are y-you...?"
Shun had fallen over as well, having landed on his injured leg. Shivering fairly violently, he looked over towards Mitsu who had to be colder than himself. And he was in there for a few seconds only. He couldn't see colors too well with his night vision but he could tell her lips were a different shade than they normally were.
"I.. I'm s-sorry but we need to get your clothes off..." He muttered while crawling over towards her to try and start getting her jacket and stuff off of her. There was no way she'd be warming up with soaked fabric clinging to her body. He, himself was going to need to take off his pants too but she had a higher priority at the moment.

"I-I'm c-c-cold." She stammered out, body refusing to move. Otherwise she was fine.
"W-w-what?" She looked up at Shun with wide eyes as he moved closer and started to work her jacket off her shoulders. At the moment she had no strength to fight him. "W-w-why? I d-d-don't understand." She didn't know much about hypothermia and trying to survive after being drenched in cold water, but it didn't make much sense to take her clothes. If she would have had the appropriate blood flood through her body her face would have flushed, for now she had to settled for looking completely and utterly confused.

"Y-you won't b-be able to warm up with freezing cold cloth stuck t-to your b-body," he stuttered while working as quickly as he could to pull off her clothing, "W-we need to get them off... so they can dry... and t-to keep you from f-freezing to d-death..."
It was hard to work when his own limbs were numb from cold, but he did his best. With the direness of the situation, he didn't think about how awkward it was at the moment to be doing this. Shun just knew it was what he had to do to keep her alive.

Mitsu wanted to protest but there wasn't much energy to do so. She did her best to help but sadly Shun had to do most of the work in removing her clothes until she was stripped down to the bare essentials. Her arms wrapped around her stomach quickly after her shirt was removed to cover a small set of stitches. The only other thing that she was left with other than a light blue bra and pair of panties was a panda necklace around her neck, her brother's ring dangling on the same chain.

Once her clothes were off, Shun laid them out so they weren't in a crumpled heap before tossing off his pants to do the same. He shakily limped on over to grab his jacket to cover up the girl. As he did this, he pulled her up towards him and wrapped his arms tightly around her. While he noticed the ring dangling on the chain, he wasn't really paying attention to any details here and there, wanting to provide her warmth as soon as possible.
He was still shivering, himself, and her now-chilled body didn't help all that much but she was worse off than he was.
"C-come on Mitsu.. hang in there..."

At the moment Mitsu didn't have much time to be embarrassed, her mind was too focused on how cold she was. Shivering from head to toe she curled up in Shun's arms as soon as he held her close, snuggling down into the jacket trying to get warm. At least it was dry.
"Y-y-your hurt," She tried to state having seen him limp. It appeared like their adventure was only going to add a few scars to Shun's collection. Shakily her arms found their way out of the jacket and wrapped around Shun's torso. Her body hadn't warmed up yet but her limbs were becoming a little more mobile.

"I'll b-be fine..." he uttered to her while resting his head against her. Shun shifted a little but he continued to hold her close, trying to warm her body with his own. Regarding the wounds, he most likely was still bleeding but he figured he could take care of those whenever he's gotten Mitsu out of the danger zone.
"J-just focus on warming up..." he added while trying to rub her back lightly to see if that helped generate at little more heat for her.

Mitsu continued to shake for some time, her body having a hard time retaining heat. Her tail was still wet but that didn't keep her from wrapping it up around herself to help keep in what little heat she had. A couple of times her grip started to loosen like she was drifting off but she immediately regained her hold, pressing closer to Shun for warmth. Finally her main body started to hold some heat, her shaking easing back a little. The color started to come back to her skin as the heat began to spread until finally her temperature rose to well above what it should have been, her body trying to combat the cold air around them.

"Come on.. stay with me.. " he muttered to her, nudging her gently whenever it seemed like she was going to slip into unconsciousness. Shun didn't let up at all and in the back of his mind he was worried his efforts would end up being for naught.
Shivering, he noticed that her own shaking was starting to ease, giving him hope that she was recovering. In fact he noticed that her body was growing rather warm. He couldn't tell if it was because he was freezing but it seemed like she was warmer than usual. Either way, he relished it, curling up with her to try and retain as much as possible.

Now warm to the point of being hot, Mitsu curled up against Shun her body giving an odd shiver every once in a while but for the most part her shaking had eased away. It was like her blood was on fire forcing heat through her body when she no longer needed it so intensely. Trying to share the warmth she now had she tried to move the jacket so it could partially cover them both while she awkwardly tried to crawl into Shun's lap. It didn't seem like the time to really ask, just do. Once in place and settled in, Mitsu huddled there trying not to think about the fact that she only had her bra and panties on. It was awkward and embarrassing and only seemed to make her body grow hotter...and suddenly she sneezed.
"Eh....how long do you think it will take for our clothes to dry?" Her voice was much more steady now, only quivering here and there but it wasn't necessarily from the cold.

Now Shun was fairly certain it wasn't just because he was freezing, though he wasn't about to complain. Her body was exceptionally warm, which was doing well to ease his own shivering. He still wasn't really thinking about how awkward it was for them to be clinging to one another while nearly naked. It was for the sake of survival after all. Though.. he probably wouldn't have done this if it were anyone else aside from Mitsu. At the question of their clothing, he shot a glance over at them.
"Probably awhile..." he frowned, "If w-we could get.. a fire going, it would speed things up..."
The problem there was that there really wasn't anything to burn for a fire here. He had a lighter, that alone wouldn't help dry their clothes.
"A-are you hungry or thirsty at all..?" he asked, also wanting to make sure she was hydrated.

"A fire?" Mitsu questioned looking around. "T..there's not anything to burn." Stating something that Shun already knew. Sneezing again her body shifting until she was sitting fully on his lap, though she wasn't entirely aware of what she might be up against. She was just well aware of the fact that they both barely had anything on.
"W..what about your leg?" She asked shifting so that she might be able to see.

"I know..." Shun said quietly as she shifted on him. He was a little more aware of their positioning, but didn't think much of it for the time being. Instead he just continued on to holding to her, resting his chin lightly on her shoulder. It was chilly still, and he was in some pain, but.. he was relatively comfortable like this. There was something almost relaxing here.
"It'll be fine... I'll have to take a better look at it later, but.. that can wait," he uttered, "That wolverine had to have come from somewhere... so we shouldn't be too far from the surface once we're able to get moving again."
"You.. didn't get hurt at all did you?"

Well it was at least a small hint of hope that they were close to some sort of exit...though Mitsu wished they hadn't found such an obstacle in their path. Nervously her eyes shifted over toward the slain creature as if worried it might come back to life.
Mitsu shook her head, "N..no I'm not hurt." She had forgotten to answer about food or water. For once...she was hungry. The shivering and shaking had burned up her energy. "What....did you bring to eat?" She asked rather hesitantly.

"Just some sandwiches.. and trail mix," answered Shun while glancing towards the nearby bag. He had burnt up a fair amount of energy as well... between shivering, fighting a wolverine, and using magic. Shakily, he reached over for the bag to pull it closer, bringing out two of the sandwiches and offering one to the girl.
"I... I'm really sorry.. th-this outing didn't really turn out as I had h-hoped.."
