ok was fiddling with it, and i made the setting take place in the same town as our current rp, but it's completely void of people (so before our characters show up if people are wondering a time line) the town is under control of 2 monsters i dug up from the internet twisted and yet to be revealed .
i just need a title
i'd like to remind everyone that this is an experimental rp to help me fine tune it so i can use it on other guilds so i do appreciate participation and feedback.

Wow, I never thought about that. I assumed this was an action type guild because some of my first posts, I think there was a fight scene with Rumia.
Anyway, I think your idea sound great knives. I think using strictly human characters is a good idea. It's kinda rare to find Rps about humans who are just human (no super abilities or any powers).

Lol yeah. That's how the guild was originally going to be, but then people started to send in non-human profiles because I forgot to mention it in the guild rules, so I quickly changed my character to match how the guild was going to be. And the guild is definately action, 'cause who can go without that? sweatdrop
So, Knives_Sama, should I start writing a plot based on what you have given me, or do you want to show us, in more detail, what you have so far?But I think the setting should be in a different place; and not in Blackthorn Hollow--but somewhere similar... When I first started writing that little layout, I was thinking of "Deadwood Forest" or something like that (because I just have a weird fetish with trees that way). I just don't want it to be too similar to the main roleplay, because then it might start to get distracting.

I like the name poseur27 provided, and the fact that it should be in a place similar--but different from Blackthorn Hollow.
But that's not what I'm here for right now. I was reading through the roleplay a while ago (to catch up) and there were a few things that caught my interest:
1) In the very begining of the roleplay, Willow goes and looks out the window and sees some red eyes looking into the window, and when Bartheyamus asks about it, she goes and tells them a local legend about some beast that eats children or whatnot. That character that she explains is left out for the rest of the roleplay.
2) When Eladriel comes into the roleplay, he suggests that there are lots of strange creatures lurking around the places where people have vanished.
so I take that as a reason for there to be another beast/baddie. Only with a less human conscience than the other two. I made up a character, and was just checking it out with you guys; and cap'n, of course, since she's the one who has to approve of it. Here it is: Username: Yuphesweird Character Name: Unknown Character's Age: Unknown Personality: The shadow hound is almost universally malevolent, although it is rarely held to be directly harmful, usually it is a portent of death. History: The shadow hound is essentially a nocturnal spectre of the folklore of Ireland; it is generally supposed to be larger than a physical dog with glowing eyes, and is often associated with electrical storms, crossroads, places of execution and ancient pathways. It was made from the vengeance and hatred of humans, and seems to be composed of a physical form of shadow. It can melt away into the darkness, or suddenly appear from thin-air. There is no telling where it will appear next once it has dissipated from one's view. Type: Shadow Hound Looks:

heh heh i used the red eyes looking back to make rumia sweatdrop but other beasts would be neat stuff people can kill and not worry too much about character development the cannon fodder if you will
as for my roleplay i like the name Deadwood Forest so we can use that smile as for getting started if i can just post it in a topic in a section our leader designates for it then that would be great and the setting i just need an abandoned town surrounded by forest and finally this will hopefully not be anything like our current roleplay as i will RPM it (Role Playing Master) so as characters advance i will give events and help set the setting.
note it is a survival horror/mystery.

note it is a survival horror/mystery. If you don't mind, I'd like to be the one who posts it in the forums, just so that I can make sure everything goes like I want it to. And so that I can make sure the layout is all set and stuff like that. I would appreciate it if you would send your ideas to me in a PM so that I can look over them.
And to yuphesweird...I approve of your character profile; hopefully it will be able to move the story along in some places. I'll get to posting that in the profiles section as soon as possible.

Does anyone wanna have our own little Valentine event thingy? Like, maybe have a small-story writing contest or something?

Don't really know if it'd work out, though. Since we don't have very many active members in the guild at the moment. sweatdrop *sigh*
