Looking back at Brutus and seeing a reassuring nod Shin reached below the counter once more producing a bottle of sake and a drinking glass saying " I wouldn't remember if I had, but keep the water, it isn't good to drink booze without hydrating yourself. " Taken back a moment Shin thought to him self wondering why he knew that. Telling him self he could worry about it later Shin continued in saying " Is there anything else you would like? Food maybe? If the girl payed any attention to Shin mouth as he spoke she would notice his k nine teeth were thinner and pointed sharply at the ends, looking more like snake fangs than anything else.

Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed Mai looked at the man, taking an effort to keep confusion away from her neutral expression. Why did this boy care so much? Or was it simply part of his job? "Actually... I'm a little short on cash, and I haven't been able to eat a lot lately. The hospital doesn't get a lot of patients, and not a lot of people look for a tracker out here." She admitted, and that's when she noticed the peculiar teeth that the boy had. They reminded her of a snake, and she wasn't quite fond of them, mostly because it was an absolute pain to get rid of the poison they injected. As if she wasn't already in enough. The girl reached over towards the bottle of sake and poured it into the glass, taking a moment to drink down the refreshing alcohol. Chakra: 50/50

Placing a menu next to the bottle of sake Shin spoke up saying " On me, I was I got put in a rut not to long ago and the people around here helped me out, only seems right I do the same for someone else. Plus I am sure a nice meal would go great with the bottle." Just As Shin finished a couple of guys walked up a stumbling an slurring there words asking for more drinks, looking back over to Brutus he saw him shake his head no, so Shin look at the two men and said " Sorry guys, can't do that, would be glad to get you anything else you want." The two didn't take the news to well, and started saying how they were paying customers and they should get what they ask for.

Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed She didn't say anything more when the menu was placed in front of her. Due to her lineage, she was prone to eating a lot more than the average person, and lately she hadn't even been eating that, so she was very hungry. The prospect of being able to order anything she wanted stuck clear in her mind. He might regret it later, but he did say it was on him. Looking over the menu with the same dull eyes she had had all day, Mai picked out the possible food choices that she could order. However, the problem was, she had never been to a place where she could just order food. Most of the time she cooked her own meals at home. So, Mai lifted the menu up with one hand and leaned towards the boy who had just finished dealing with the drunken man, and pointed at several objects. She had picked enough food for nearly a three course meal. And, between all that, she had downed another shot. Chakra: 50/50

Looking at the Menu as the girl pointed out what she wanted Shin tried to keep the badgering of the drunken men out of his mind till they brought the women into it. " AYE! Why does the braud get drinks but not us? This is some bull, I some sake now! Shaking his head Shin walked from behind the bar next to the men and said " Come on now guys, everyone here is having a good time, and you guys are pretty drunk as it is. Why don't you sit down and have another bit to eat, maybe some water or juice?" The whole time Shin was speaking he had been building chakra into his right arm, it wasn't a great deal of chakra but for what he intended on using it for would be enough. " So what do ya say to that fellas? " As he finished speaking he patted one of then men on the stomach lightly in a friendly gesture, or so it would seem. At that moment Shin flooded the mans stomach with chakra, because of this the mans stomach became very upset, and with the added bonus of booze involved the man put his hand over his mouth and ran to the bathroom quickly, his friend close behind wondering what was going on.
Walking back behind the bar with a small smirk and a laugh Shin said to Mai " I will get this made up for you as fast as I can." Walking back into the kitchen Shin told one of the cooks what the girl ordered and then walked back out going to several table and picking up all the dishes, he would keep doing this and other minor cleaning details until the girls food was ready.

Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed Mai watched the boy carefully as he approached the drunk men. She didn't mind at all that they had insulted her, because being called a broad wasn't offensive in the slightest, since they didn't know what she was capable of. When Shin patted the man's stomach, she realized what he had done, simply because she had done it several times before to others to get them to stop bothering her. When he made mention that the food would be made up as fast as he could get it, the girl simply gave him a curt nod and waited. She was seated at the booth in a rather formal manner for the mood she had been in earlier, back straight, knees at a right angle, and her hands rested carefully in her lap. Chakra: 50/50

After wiping down a few tables and throwing away scraps of paper and straw Shin went into the back to check on the girls food, once back there he made sure to wash his hands quickly before grabbing his food. Once he made his way over to the meal, there seemed to be a extra bowl of rice with a few chicken chunks and some veggies. Asking the female waitress who it was for she pointed at Shin and said " It is yours, you need to eat up before we get busy and you don't have time. " "Huh" He thought as he picked up the food and walked out to the girls section of the bar.
" Here you go, one nice hot plate of food." Kneeling down and making himself a glass of ice tea Shin asked in his trade mark honey sweet tone " Mind if I join you while I am on my break? Conversation is a nice complement to food and booze after all. " Taking a sip from his glass of tea Shin waited for the girl to respond to his request.

Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed When Shin once again emerged, the first thing that Mai's eyes attached themselves to was the food that he was bringing out. Personally, she didn't have a lot of interest in the boy, just the strange snake features that he possessed. However, when thinking about it she just dismissed any questions in her mind about since, since she herself carried irregular traits. The girl downed yet another shot from the sake, apparently unfazed by the alcohol, and looked towards the boy when he mentioned joining her on his break. She gave him a nod. "Don't expect to talk much." Mai said, running her right index finger around the rim of the glass that had come with the sake. Truthfully, she didn't want to talk at all, but if he wanted to, she would at least utter a few words now and then. Chakra: 50/50

Another small smirk crossed his lips as he sat his class down and sat on a stool on the inside of the bar and began talking " Fine by me, but I do have one question, you said you worked at the hospitable, have you treated any one who looks like me? Pail, odd snake features, anyone at all like that? " As Shin spoke it wouldn't be easy, but someone who was good at reading people might be able to notice that the answer to his question would be pretty important. He was having a good time working in the Bar, and when he was called to it he had a good time training, but he still had not connection to his past and that was something he needed.

Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed Mai took the moment to begin eating her food, and it all went down astonishingly fast even though she retained proper manners. When the last bit of food before her was gone, she downed another shot of the sake before replying to Shin. "I don't believe so. If I had, I wouldn't have thought you looked so weird." After she finished her sentence, Mai felt a pulse of pain move through her body, causing her to visibly flinch. However, she quickly regained her composure. She didn't want him to ask any questions about her. Chakra: 50/50

Scoffing as he took another bit of his food making sure to get rice, meat, and veggies all in one good bite. " Weird huh? Well I didn't think there would be but never hurts to try. Thank you." Humor was still in Shins voice as he spoke, and a small smile as he ate his food. He was having a good day, good food, a busy yet funny job, and a nice cold glass of ice tea. " The little things." Shin thought to himself as he took another bit of food.

Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed With nothing better to do than drink the rest of the sake before her, and listen to Shin talk, Mai gently pushed away her finished dishes so that she could lean comfortably against the surface of the counter. The same neutral, dull expression was maintained throughout the entire conversation, and would likely continue. Nothing about the boy was interesting beyond the fact that he had the traits of a reptile, which was quite a rarity beyond what she had heard of a clan tethered to dogs. However, if it wasn't anymore apparent, the girl would like to come here more often without conversation, but the alcohol didn't seem to be working the way she wanted. It was disappointing, because these days nothing seemed to dull the constant, throbbing pain, the pain that disconnected her from the world she lived in. "You're welcome. I have something to ask you as well. Have you heard of anyone with... abnormal levels of chakra?" Mai asked, downing the rest of the sake bottle, and setting it upon the dirty dishes she had pushed aside. If Shin had at all been monitoring what she drank, he would notice that she didn't seem to be at all inebriated. Chakra: 50/50

"Nope, although I haven't met any one who used chakra. The only thing I know about it is people say in story's." His bowl a little more than half gone Shin took another bite then finished his ice tea off then refilled it then drank a little more and waited for what ever the girl would say next. She didn't seem to want to talk much and he didn't have any need to try and force it.

Chakra Control [ Medical ] Speed When the boy had mentioned that the only thing he knew about chakra was what was said in stories, she immediately knew he was lying, mainly because of the little prank he pulled on the drunk man earlier. She was no stranger to simple chakra manipulation, mainly because it was so easy for her. So, to continue a seemingly hopeless conversation, Mai decided to call him out on it. "Sure, because that little trick you pulled earlier was a completely natural reaction to being patted on the stomach."Chakra: 50/50

Shin almost chocked on his food with laughter when the girl said something about his "trick""A drunk guy throws up an you just start assuming people have ninja magic tricks? That is pretty paranoid."Shin was greatly amused with the girls giant leap, but it was good information, she knew what chakra was, and however paranoid and unrealistic her assumption she might be able to pick up on people with ninja ability's. This small bit of information made it clear she either was a ninja, or was familiar with them. Either way Shin needed keep a note of the things this girl said, he didn't know who she was and this wasn't a village were ninja were just running around all the time. Things here were secret, and people knowing, or acting like they know things could be a threat.
Ooc: Please don't meta game your brand new rpc knowing exactly what my Rpc did with out even knowing the style he used. It isn't like there is a aura around my arm when I do things like that. There is no reason your Rpc would know, even if she uses chakra. Which she shouldn't since she hasn't been trained. (To my knowledge.)
