Pleased to see that Elisia did in fact eat what was put before her, Tsukiko fell into ease while she ate and simply watched her as she did so, being content with just this. She was not blind to the fact that Elisia ate quickly, obviously hungry for real food, though she was doing her best to remain polite. Tsukiko would have told her that she didn't mind her being sloppy, since they were at home, but she figured there was no point in bringing it up since she was trying so hard. Once she was done, Tsukiko had moved ever so slightly to take her plate and everything else to clean them, but Elisia had decided on her own that she was going to clean them herself, so Tsukiko casually passed off the motion she had made as a reach to flick an imaginary piece of dust into the floor. While Elisia walked past the counter that divided the kitchen and the dining room, Tsukiko kept her gaze on her backside, clearly expressing interest in this region even though no one could witness her intent stare, then tore her gaze away by the time she reached the sink. While she cleaned, Tsukiko’s gaze traveled around the room, having no distinct pattern as she was quite bored at the moment. However, her boredom was wrenched away by the realization that she was not wearing her ring, anomaly that she quickly remedied by slipping out the kitchen and disappearing into the bedroom, only to emerge from it while slipping the symbolic piece of jewelry onto her finger. It really was beautiful, just like her spouse, and she knew I was quite expensive given the quantity of diamonds that were set in the band itself. It was not gaudy or bulky or anything, it simply was not limited to a single diamond like many rings were, but instead had one larger one like was standard, then multiple smaller ones set into the band itself. She could tell by the weight, which was only slightly heavier than a normal ring would be, that it had either a steel or iron core to prevent it from breaking under stress that would normally do a ring in.

Glancing at Elisia, she could see that she was still busy cleaning, and since she did not want to be a bother, she disappeared into the room that they did not use, the spare that was used for storage. Of course, this storage was nothing like the storage shed outside, which housed training equipment like a gym would. This room, instead, had nothing other than four shelves arranged parallel to each other and spread evenly throughout the room with a bout three feet of space between them, and with the outer two being up against the wall. On these shelves were medical supplies, an abundance of them, actually, along with various chemicals, drugs, and pieces of lab equipment that could not fit in the lab upstairs in her father's apartment. Slipping in between the first and second shelf, she scanned them while running her fingers across the metal, until finally settling her gaze on a corked glass bottle. After taking a grip on it's cork with just her finger tips, she lightly tossed it into the air, about three inches up, then caught it, pocketed it, and made her way back into the dining room where she sat down, inspecting her fingernails until she was distracted by Elisia's voice, suggesting that they go and find her parents. It was a funny thing to suggest that they go and find them, seeing as how Tsukiko already knew where they were given the fact that her internal 3D data grid of the apartment complex and it's surrounding area changed constantly as people moved. Of course, she didn't expect Elisia to keep up with each and every thing Tsukiko was scientifically capable of doing, so it wasn't a big deal that she didn't know. Nodding slowly, Tsukiko flipped over her hands so she could see her palms, laced her fingers together, then stretched her arms and faked a yawn. "Yeah, sure. Daddy is upstairs with Yokozuki-taichō, so it's best not to bother them. Mommy and Senka are downstairs though." Turning her head with a smile, she released her grip of herself and stood up, wirelessly turning off everything in the apartment save the heat, the carbon monoxide detector, and the smoke alarm, then whisked herself towards the door while catching Elisia's hand and tugging her along for the ride.

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

Sixth Division's Captain

BEEP, BEEP, BE- A hand shot out and smacked the alarm clock; the hit was probably too hard since now the clock was on the floor, broken. A grunt and sigh came from under the twin size bed as sheets were pulled away to revel a dark haired man. Tetsunosuke was sitting up right while rubbing his eyes with his palms. His hair was a mess and his attire was lacking. A pair of boxers with blue strips and a white undershirt were all he had on. He looked around to see the still unfamiliar walls of his temporary bed room. He pulled his legs out from the sheets and put them into a pair of slippers he had beside his bed. Tetsu leaned over to pick the clock up, while staying still after placing the clock back on the stand, Tetsunosuke looked blankly at the floor. He yawned and stretched his arms into the air, falling flat on his back on the bed. "DANG IT! It's to early..." He complained with a sleepy voice. He drug himself up as he stood up now, walking toward the door to open it and lead himself to the bathroom. It seemed like Kato was either still in his room or somewhere where Tetsunosuke could care less about. Tetsunosuke took to walking into the bathroom to relieve his bowels and bladder. After some time later, he exited and made his way to the kitchen, where he fixed himself some eggs, bacon and toast for breakfast. Nothing spectacular since he wasn't a chef. The gigai he was using felt just like any other gigai, nothing special about it. Tetsunosuke got dressed in a black t-shirt and gym shorts, which he acquired from his room after he had eaten. He grabbed a key to let himself back in as he exited the apartment, and headed for the stairs that would lead to the roof. Tetsunosuke admired the sky for a brief moment after he exited the door to the roof top. A small gust was blowing his messy hair as he took a couple of steps toward the edge of the building. He looked out and crossed his arms.

As Tetsu was admiring this view as well, he uncrossed his left arm reached down into his pocket to pulled out a bottle of water he had brought with him, he snapped the seal of the lid and drank the 'mountain spring' water. It tasted like water he usually drank. He screwed the lid back on and sat the water down next to him as he seated himself. Tetsunosuke crossed his legs in an Indian sitting style and placed his hands on his knees. He quickly entered Jinzen, since he was in his gigai, his sword was still attached to his soul. A graze yard was visible as he opened his eyes; it was sunny, and mild temperatures in the 60s. "What the..." Tetsunosuke stood up and looked around. The trees had leafs on them, and some flowers were blooming over on a hill to his left. Tetsunosuke looked around, Sakuzen Kosshi wasn't insight at all, but he felt his Reiatsu in the church up ahead. The old church used to just be ruble, but somehow it was whole again. Tetsunosuke had his normal Shinigami attire on, even though he was technically a Vizard. He could hear talking come from the building, the doors were open as he made his way toward the church. Suddenly organ pipes started resonating with air, making noise, which would lead to music. The music of an accomplished organist was heard as he slowly made his way into the welcoming church. Straight in front of him, he could see a figure moving behind the pulpit, playing the large instrument.

"Oi... Hollow Me, what're you d-" "Shush, Harasawa... you never interupt an organist while they're playing." Sakuzen Kosshi suddenly appeared by Tetsunosuke. It looked like normal, just different due to the better lighting. Tetsu glared at Sakuzen, giving him the queerest of looks as he took further steps, soon reaching the few steps that'd lead to the stage as he faced it. He climbed them, and was directly to the left of his Inner Hollow, the thing he'd just recently started getting accustomed to. After the Inner Hollow was finished playing, Tetsunosuke brought his hands together and started a slow -slightly sarcastic - clap. "Bravissimo." He said softly. "Eh," The Inner Hollow cocked his head to the left. His hair was identical to Tetsu, except that his was gray, and his attire was reversed in colors. The literally black colored skinned figure came fully about and faced him eye to eye. A small chill ran up Tetsunosuke's spin every time they looked face to face. The tattoos that his Inner Hollow shared with him were the same, besides being white. "That chilling feeling you get when you see me... I get that too." He said as he arose from the seat. "Sit, I want to show you how to play a few cords..." He lifted his left hand, directing Tetsunosuke toward the organ bench. Tetsunosuke took one step, but hesitated for a moment. The Inner Hollow was unarmed, and had nothing to strike him with, after Tetsu saw this, he furthered his approach to the bench. He placed his hands on the edge of the bench that was closet toward the instrument as he lowered himself down. The wood creaked and the cushion let air out softly. A soft sigh expelled from Tetsu's lungs, he was on edge for the oddest of reasons. "Don' worry Harasawa, I think y'all are past your difference... for now at least." The Zanpakuto Spirit cracked a snaggletooth smile as it took a few steps to Tetsu's right. Tetsu had positioned his legs under the bench, trying not to hit the floor pedals. "Don't worry about those. Just look at the keys in front of you," The Inner Hollow reached over and played a low C. Tetsunosuke looked, he was hardly familiar with an organ, but he knew that he was playing a C, due to an old lover playing the Harpsichord back when he was a poet. They often played together; as in, he's tell a poem of dramatic flair, and she'd play along. Tetsunosuke looked sarcastically up at his Inner Hollow and played the same not a few scale degrees higher. "I'm not a complete fool; it's a C... and this." He played a C cord next, "is it's cord." He played it with his right hand as the resonated.

"Bravissimo, Harasawa-kun. Test one, clear." His Inner Hollow smiled. "Test two... begin." As soon as he finished his words, Tetsunosuke felt a surging feeling flutter onto his back. A Cero sent him flying into the instrument and out the other side of the church, completing destroying the that side of the church, but it remained standing for now. Tetsunosuke was airborne as he crashed into a tree and broke many branches as he plummeted to an open grave. Off in the distance, Tetsu could hear the ringing of the falling pipes as they fell to the ground. The noise was random and carried no harmony. A sonido was bring the two halves of a whole together, though not through Tetsu's intent. He jumped out of the grave as the Inner Hollow fired another Cero into it. "What sort of test is this?!" He yelled at the hollow. His clothes were unscathed and he was unhurt for the most part. "You passed the first test to quickly, so I had to spice it up. How was I suppose to know you knew the first cord of an organ..." He shrugged as he spoke. Tetsunosuke used his expert Shunpo skills to bring him closer to Hollow Tetsu. Tetsu could feel his attack be blocked as he tried to perform a Senka. "Subarashii~ Hara-kun..." A sword was in his hand now as the Inner Hollow faced Tetsu. He narrowed his eyes and furrowed his brows in an angered fashion. "Haha, so you're made that that didn't finish me off? You think that little of me? I'm heart broke." "What Heart?" Tetsunosuke instantly retorted. "I am the one who was simply following what you asked me to do, and then you attack me from behind." Tetsunosuke continued with his sword being grasped in both hands. He was airborne a few feet off the ground thanks to Air Walk, and he was simply standing there looking down at Inner Hollow. "Wrong... you never lowered your guard, you don't trust me. I'm not one to cry about that sort of stuff, but it is annoying. If you can't trust me, you can't trust yourself." The hollow announced. "W-wha-" Tetsunosuke was shocked at the statement, but had no time to rebuttal since he was being attacked again with a piercing sword.

The Sonido was quick, it lead Tetsunosuke's Inner Hollow right to his side; - his left - he floated in the air for a moment as the Hollow glanced over to him with his purple eyes. "It's strange... after our first fight, I thought this would be different... but it's not. I'm not even interested in fighting someone who's just worried about his own life." The back of his sword was swiped across Tetsu's chest as it sent Tetsu sliding back. The skidding stop came as an unexpected guard from the Vizard, the Hollow smiled with his lips. "You... you don't know the first thing about me... the fights I've been in, the struggles I've face, the lost I've felt. I don't need to explain myself to you, HOLLOW!!" Tetsunosuke's eyes suddenly widened as he dug his feet into the ground, turning his Zanpakuto into Shikai and thrusting the scythe upward to cleave him in too. The Hollow used both hands on his sword to block the attack, but it was sent back, with feet on the ground, by the strength of the swing. Tetsu charged forward again, not giving a moments rest; his scythe above his head as he brought it into a full swing onto the Hollow, the scythe would missed as the force in the strike would send the scythe downward and backward behind Tetsu some; gripping the weapon in one hand, he raised his left hand and opened the fist it was in. "Seki," he said as the blue orb appeared and interrupted the stab to his throat that the Inner Hollow was coming at him with. It seemed like the Hollow had side stepped and charged forward. The Hollow had entered Shikai, but used Katana ni Kama to change his weapon form. A fixated stare was all the was seen afterward, but wouldn't last as three spikes shot out of the ground at Tetsu, he used his speed to dance through them; "Kyokko!" He dashed through the last one and was now invisible. "Dang..." The hollow hissed as he quickly looked back and forth and scurrying eyes. "Screw this," He clenched his hands as he brought them to his side, his sword remaining in his right hand, he charged his Reiryoku and caused hundreds of spikes shoot out of the ground. They were about the size of one was about the size of a baseball bat, they stretched into the air about twelve feet. Tetsu managed a small scratch on his cheek as the Kyokko was canceled. "What's wrong? Terrified of me? Scared I might put you in a cage and lock you away? So you have to come at me like a wild animal? Is there not a peaceful way to settle this?" Tetsunosuke said as it spoke. "You are always the arrogant one, Harasawa-kun. I told you this was a test, not me trying to gain control, we've already proved that a year or so ago. Don't think of this as me helping you either, because it's not. Just because you've gained more power since becoming a Vizard, doesn't mean that you're able to fully harness that power. You need skills." That was all the hollow had to say for now. He moved his arms and gripped his sword with two hands. A dark veil blew around him, "Bankai, Akogare Sakuzen Kosshi." The hollow spoke as he finished the words; the spikes retreated into the ground, and the Hollow fell toward the dirt. The grass was upturned and made into a horrible looking reminder of what the Hakase Estate looked like a year ago.

Tetsunosuke was about to entered bankai as well when he heard a rumbling under his feet. A Blue Whale erupted from the ground, like swimming up to the surface of water, it quickly started falling back to the earth as it did, the zombified creature became distorted and started bulging outward, an explosion followed suit as it was aimed downward at Tetsunosuke. The large explosion was devastating, the shock wave was enough to cause the rest of the church to crumble due to the poor stability. After the smoke cleared, Tetsunosuke was still standing, he had casted a Danku and had split it four ways to cover his sides. The weakened spell though wasn't enough to block all of the damage, but it weakened the blast enough to cause little damage to Tetsu.

Tetsunosuke faced the Hollow as he panted for a brief moment before gaining his posture. "Good, you finally see what I mean." The Hollow said. "Fear your own power..." The Hollow said, trying to get into his head. He lurched over and shot toward Tetsunosuke, "Bankai-" he quickly blocked the sword that was going to his abdomen with his scythe. He was able to match him in strength for that instant, his muscles flexed as they were used to their fulled capacity. He pushed the Hollow back, though he was letting himself be pushed back by not using his own full strength. "b*****d, you're treating me like a child!" He broke the push as he took and swung at his Inner Hollow. He was easily able to dodge the attack, but even though he dodged it, he was still cut by the force of the swing. A blue Reiatsu surged out, coming from Tetsunosuke as he looked toward his doppelgänger. His Reiatsu wasn't able to stop a whole lot of people in their tracks, and was mostly involuntarily released when he was being pushed in a fight. The cloak was billowing about as he Flash Stepped forward, keeping scythe in both hands to his right, he swung the weapon straight across, the Hollow parried and retorted with his own slice; Tetsu performed another Shunpo, but not one to retreat, his body was crouched over, and his hind end was arched up slightly. His scythe rolled off his back into his left hand as he brought it straight up at his opponent. To much of his surprise, the Inner Hollow took half of the hit due to not being able to block it all, an arm and leg were lobbed off. They fell toward the ground, still twitching due to the nerves. But the Inner Hollow had his own cloak, which was white, and he was easily able to stay where he was. But he wasn't going to, as the cut garments of the cloak slowly were blown in the wind, the Hollow Sonido'd to his ligaments and picked up his arm. Tetsunosuke was quick behind him as spikes were raised from the earth, the hollow was able to pilot through each one as he reattached the arm. He used the reattached arm to charge and fire a Cero shot, which would pass just right by the spikes and straight to Tetsu. He used his scythe and cut straight through it, the halved blast would go straight to his left and right and explode twenty feet away, leaving him out of the harm. The Inner Hollow chuckled as a blast would erupt from under Tetsunosuke. The leg that the Hollow had lost was detonated under the victim. Tetsunosuke was holding his side, his cloak on his left had been ripped and tattered and was now reveling a missing right arm. But for that instant it was seen, an arm was quickly offered to him from the dirt as he created it. With a quick motion, he was rearmed and was holding his hand up, like he was surrendering or wanting to speak. "I get what you're doing now... So do we have to continue this? If you haven't forgotten, we're suppose to travel to have a big fight later." The Hollow wasn't surprised by his statement, he exited bankai and shrugged. "You sure know how to ruin my fun." He shrugged. "Oh, and don't worry, Sakuzen Kosshi took the punishment to your body for you, so you should think it later... you won't have any damage done to you after you exit Jinzen." He stated as it brushed dirt off his hakama. "Is that possible?" Tetsu asked. "I dunno... See ya." He smirked as Tetsunosuke was forcibly kicked out of Jinzen. As he opened his eyes, he noticed that his head was cocked backwards looking into the sky. Tetsu sighed as he wasn't sure how to exactly think Sakuzen Kosshi for doing such a thing. He stood up from his spot and stretched big. He looked at a clock that was about four blocks over and saw the time.

Tetsunosuke made his way back to the stars and opened the echoing door. Just as he entered the door, it seemed that someone was on the roof now, though Tetsu didn't trouble himself with it. The door closed loudly behind him as his shoes were tapping on the steps, causing more of an echo. He turned the handle to the bottom floor and exited out, he passed his apartment and turned the corner into the Main Lobby, he stopped his step mid step as he grabbed the wall. "S-Senka?!" He gasped as he moved his foot a step back, "No no, you can't go that way," he lowered himself to her level and opened his mouth to speak again. "Sōtaichō... Good morning." He smiled to Senka as he had noticed Yuki's presences. He took Senka's hand in hand as he slowly walked her back to her mother. "Yay, you're walking so well..." He said in a soft and encouraging voice. He nodded slightly as he raised his back and looked to Yuki. He gave her a proper bow before walking over to the door to watched Suzume and Tadashi. "Everyone fights for a reason. Hei's is for his family, Sakamoto's is for respect and for what he believes is right. But for me..." Tetsunosuke looked down at the door hand and squinted his eyes some. "I just seem to keep loosing the people I want to protect the most. Iwakuro-sama... Kyoshiro..." Tetsu had a small sadness to his voice as he spoke. "I still-" His voice was small and soft as he spoke the words of self pity. He turned around and scratched the back of his head. "M-my apologize! Just ignore that." A shade of red become the color his cheeks bore as he nodded his head in assurance. "Haha, I don't know what came over me. But, I won't let you down, Sōtaichō." Tetsunosuke said with assurance. He stepped away from the door as he looked around in the lobby. "Sōtaichō, are you feeling well?" He asked her, he had noticed that she was resting, but he thought it could be because of lack of sleep due to the baby.

"Truth is simply a conception..."

Hideki had grown tired and weary of sitting on the roof of the apartment complex shortly after having sat down at all, but, much to his own avail, Hibiki’s own Hollowfication went by sooner than expected, at least for him. Hideki would be able to leave the area after this, or rather the roof top, of which he took up quickly after Hibiki was released from the ensconcing cocoon he was within. Using his right hand to grasp the Saya of Datenshi and his left hand to push into his left knee, Hideki hobbled forward and then up to his feet. Datenshi was held loosely within Hideki’s grip and floated just an inch or so off the ground. His face was completely drab; he was incredibly tired and had no enthusiasm to continue any sort of conversation, whether they tried to or not, with anyone at the moment. He simply wanted to leave to his apartment, of which he had to share with someone and of whom he would find out soon enough.

Stepping lightly, Hideki moved forward, batting a hand a Nu and softly maneuvering around the bodies of Hibiki and Lee, nodding ever so slightly to both of them as a hidden Au Revoir. He made it to the stairs and lagged his way down them, dragging his left arm along the wall while Datenshi’s saya made a perforating rhythm of his steps as it made small tcks on each stair as it trailed behind Hideki within his loose grip. The very image of Hideki as he turned the corner to proceed down the second flight of stairs to the first floor from the second was one of complete and utter sloth and grayscale attitude. He seemed like a zombie trudging along the stairway aimlessly. That was far from the truth, for Hideki wanted, ever so much, a bed, or rather his bed, to sleep in. When Hideki reached the base of the final flight of stairs he needed only to walk forward a few more steps before his head was pushed against the beveled number 1 on the apartment door. Hideki was unsure as to who he was forced to stay with, and could care less about who it was on the grounds that it was someone who was not a complete drag on him, or would make things completely awkward when trying to have bacon and eggs in the morning in the kitchen. Slinging his left hand over to the knob of the door, Hideki loosely, and lightly, twisted it, pushing his body into the door, swinging the door open to the left of the living room it opened to, and stumbled into the apartment. It was, surprisingly, well furnished and quite modern, being minimalistic in terms of quality, but it was not an ugly or bad quality by any means.

As Hideki stepped into the apartment, his left hand subconsciously began to the close the door behind him almost immediately. This caused problems in two areas: Hideki was incredibly tired, and Hideki was dragging his blade behind him loosely in his right hand. It was late, around midnight, Hideki could imagine, and as the door went to close, the very end of Datenshi’s saya would get caught between the door frame and the door, stopping the door from closing and effectively causing enough strain from Hideki’s hand to cause the blade to fall to the ground. As the sound of the door hitting the blade and the blade falling to the ground, rattling within it’s saya, reverberated into the dead silent night, Hideki lifted his right hand to his face and let an incredibly painful sigh roll forward from the depths of his trachea. Turning around from his immediate position, Hideki bent at the hip to pick up the fallen article and was too dead tired to remember that his abnormal height made such things a task and more of a thought out process than a simple movement. What this all meant is that his height made Hideki have to be ever cautious of where he bent down for things, as he was far more susceptible to hitting things on the way down. This rang true at this very moment for when he spun and bent to grab his weapon, his head slammed directly into the wall to the left of the door frame if one was face out of the apartment. The crank to the head made Hideki cringe fiercely and totter backwards before falling on his a**. The wall hit him on his right temple area and hurt incredibly so. Hideki sat there rubbing the spot softly while staring at the small gap between the wall and the door that allowed the moonlight from outside, which managed to sneak its way past the floor above, in like a small controlled flood. It was a silver streak that cut the darkness in the apartment.

Not feeling the need to stand up again, at the moment, Hideki leaned forward and put his hands on the ground in front of him. He crawled towards the blade mumbling many curses under his breath as he did so. Grasping the weapon with his right hand, Hideki pulled it from the doorway and quickly slammed the door closed, not worrying about anyone at all anymore. He then stood up and, in the dark, flipped his eyes vision to NV-100102 mode, allowing him to see in the dark under the coat of light green vision. He crawled to the far end of the living room, where it leads to the two bedrooms and the bathroom. Once he came to the hallway entry, Hideki stood and staggered forward to his room. As he entered the abysmal entrance and kicked the door closed with his right foot, Hideki waited for the sound of the door clicking closed before his left hand moved like a silent dart for the knob, flicked the lock, and while he did this, his right hand looped its index finger around Datenshi’s tsuka and gently tossed it towards a seat to the left of his bed. Hideki, now within the serene abode of the blackness called his room, slowly stepped forward, in a segmented gait, towards his bed. As he moved forward, he began to strip down. First removing his Black and Prussian Blue Haori, of which slid effortlessly to the ground behind him. Next was his Hakama-himo, of which led to his Hakama sliding down to the ground, his legs getting plucked from them as he moved. His Kosode and Shitagi were now simply floating aimlessly, now that the Hakama that bound them to an orderly existence were gone. Hideki had no trouble moving his arms behind him and letting the breeze or motion of air carry these articles off of him as he trotted for the bed. Effectively leaving a trail of clothing from the door to the bed, Hideki was now in his undergarments and looking superfluously sloth-like.

Hideki lay strewn about the bed, on his back with his left foot stretched to the far bottom left corner of the bed and his right leg to the opposite corner. His head was in a pillow with his right arm under his head’s pillow and his left arm under the second pillow to the left of him. Hideki’s eyes were open and staring into the darkness, contemplating much that had went on that day, and even before then. Mainly what came to his mind was his injury. Moving his right hand from under his pillow to the spot on his chest where Ori had stabbed into him, Hideki thought of the pain that came with it. Hideki had not remembered ever being in that much pain before, and to think that it was only solved by Elisia being present when he came to the Realm of the Living. It was strange to think that he had no control of his life at that moment. In all honesty, the front that Hideki put up, of an arrogance that preceded him to people, was more for him than it was to convince others that it was real. He was terrified of dying, he hated the idea of it. He had done it once and ended up here, but to think of what happens after dying after you die is just absurd. Sure, he was told in the Shinōreijutsuin that he would return to the cycle of life in the Realm of the Living, here in the Gensei. That was not what scared Hideki. What scared him was his pondering of forgetting everything once he did die. When Hideki would be reborn without anything that he once had; the thought of this made Hideki cringe. Shrinking to a ball in the middle of his bed, Hideki lay still, his right hand still over where his wound was. He began to circle it with his index finger and shifted his upper torso so that it was being pushed into the pillows on the bed. He put his right hand on the pillow next to him, so that it was sandwiched between his right and left arms, and let his head settle into his own pillow before his eyes began to become weighted. Eventually, Hideki fell into a dream filled sleep.

About 15 minutes after falling asleep, after Hideki’s naturally occurring REM sleep had ceased and become slow-wave sleeping, a dream that would rock his foundation began to conjure up a storm. It was an odd mix of reality and a previous reality. It was a little boy whom had short silvery hair and wore a small black coat around his teeny shoulders. He was not scrawny, by any means, but the boy was skinny and thin. He had big grayish eyes and a strange triangular birthmark under his right eye. Around his neck was a silver chain necklace with a teardrop shaped pendant embedded with a moonstone set. He was standing in a very perplexed position and was staring forward as absentmindedly as a deer in high beams at 3am in the morning. In front of him was a woman who had silvery-black hair that extended to the base of her back. She was of moderate size, being around 5 foot 8 inches with a moderate bust and long legs. She was walking forward her back to the little boy, of whom seemed to be trailing behind her aimlessly. She would turn her head to look back at the boy every so often, but her eyes and her face her covered by shadow and would never be shown. This small bit would continue for a good 10 minutes, of the little boy following her. After the 10 minutes, the woman would be grabbed by two sets of hands and beaten before the boy. The boy, panicking, would attempt to help her, but would only be thrown from them and held down by the hands. The small boy would have to watch the woman be abused and misused before his eyes would become focused on a 5 inch bowie knife that was pulled from the shadows. It would move to the boys chin, run up it, before moving down to his chest, the boy trembling, before it would get plunged into his heart. At this, Hideki would shutter from his sleep in a raced panic. His heart beating incredibly fast, Hideki would sit up on his bed with his left over his chest. Recalling what had happened in his dream Hideki could not believe what he had dreamt. “How did I…Dream of that. That was so long ago…How….why would I recall it now…” His eyes filling with the saline-type water called tears, Hideki began to cry for the first time since he was young, since Hei’s death, if he had then. “M-Mother….Gomen….Gomen Nasai. Gomen nasai….

Hideki would sit in the middle of his bed with his knee’s to his chest for a good hour, crying silently for 30 minutes of it, before falling back into a sleep that would go uninterrupted until his mental alarm went off in his head. When he awoke, his eyes were swollen and his face stained with small white streams where his tears dried. His face held no emotion, but he felt them there and scoffed at his sudden weakness. It was something he did not want anyone to know of, ever. Glancing at the clock as he stood from the bed, it was 6:30am in the morning and the sun was now peeking over the horizon. To help wake himself, Hideki bent at the hips and touched his toes, then bobbed up and back down to grasp his calves, and repeated before going to his hamstring and standing straight. Thoroughly limbered up for the most basic of morning routines, Hideki moved over to his drawers and found them to be filled with articles of clothing. Slipping on some sweat pants, as it was a chilly Australlian morning, and black wife beater, Hideki made for the door. His hair was a mess, and was sticking up on the left side of his head, but he did not truly realize this. His right hand fumbled for the door knob and when he found it, he swung it open only for the door to meet his face. “Ah, Dōyara soko shi zari, Tōzō.” The figure before Hideki would stir at these words and turn to face him. He had light silvery hair with a black streak over his right ear, instead of his left, and had icy blue pupils in a black sclera and had a pale skin with black lips and fingernails. Tōzō’s wife beater was white, and his socks white as well, and the inside of his Haori was a deep crimson color instead of Prussian Blue. Datenshi was held in his hand and was completely inversed in every way. The figure had a smile as wide and clean as the Great Plains and had a staring gaze that held steadily on Hideki for a few minutes before his guttural and hoarse voice spoke up, “Yes it is I, you load of s**t. There is not a thing you can do to get ridda’ me either! I am going to kill you here, because you are worthless, and take your body over for my own and run free where ever. I. Like.” Hideki’s right eyebrow quircked upward with Tōzō’s words, and as he ended his sentence, Hideki stood up, his face towards the ground, and gripped Datenshi’s saya in his left hand. Balling his right fist with the blink of Tōzō’s eye, Hideki used it as a cover to have the fist in his face as he opened his eyes.

►Sarah used dis.►

The punch shoved Tōzō’s nose into his face, not breaking it, but made it bleed as he was thrown back a few feet. “Worthless you say? How. ********. Dare you. I will not stand here and let something that has been in my life for naught two minutes, tell me I am worthless. It is so obscured a view point, I see it to be hypocritical to your own being. You, Tōzō, are worthless, and only a tool to be used by me. That is, by far, the only worth you will ever see in your life.” Hideki moved his right hand to grasp the Tsuka of Datenshi and slipped the blade from its Saya. Just as it did, the Realm began to echo the song Break by Three Days Grace. Tōzō grasped the ground with his hand and pushed himself from the ground, patting the ‘dust’ from his sweatpants and grabbing Datenshi. He threw it off to the right, grabbing the Tsuka with his right hand and flicking it so that the Saya would sling off of it. His teeth were stained red from residual blood that ran from his nose and were shown from a scowl. “You piece of s**t. Playing dirty will only get you killed earlier. It means I can play dirty as well! And to say you are not worthless is an understatement!” Disappearing from sight, Tōzō’s left arm came from behind Hideki and grasped Hideki’s left Calf muscle. Tōzō was horizontally parallel with the ground and, using Hideki’s calf as point to turn on, drove his right knee into Hideki’s side. Hideki narrowly guarded against it, by moving his right elbow to meet the brunt of the attack, but was still thrown back a few steps before vanishing and appearing above Tōzō with his right foot descending into Tōzō’s face. It was toe-first so that when Tōzō’s face would meet the floor, the rest of Hideki’s body weight could be pushed into his face when Hideki’s foot would move from toe to heel, effectively aiming to break something. Tōzō was not stupid, however, and figured as much, and as they were descending, he grasped Hideki’s leg with his left hand shoved up as they fell to keep him in the air and not slamming into his face. To counter, Tōzō threw Hideki with the same arm and immediately darted forward to meet him. He had Datenshi, or Tōzō Datenshi, grasped with both hands, his right hand on the bottom of the Tsuka and his left towards the Tsuba, and held the blade so that it was blade side up and resting on his left arms forearm as he moved forward. Once he was upon Hideki, Tōzō shoved Tōzō Datenshi forward, while twisting his right hand to make the blade face down, towards Hideki’s gut area. Moving to counter, as Hideki had little choice in the matter, for it would seem that Tōzō had his left foot on Hideki’s Haori which kept him to leaving the immediate area via shunpo, Hideki lifted his left hand, still grasping Datenshi’s Saya, to meet the blade. It screeched on the Saya’s covering and Hideki shoved forward to lift the blade away from being able to clip his shoulder and to throw Tōzō off balance.

◄Sarah used dat.◄

Executing a back flip to level himself once again, Tōzō starred forward to Hideki with eyes of the dullest capacity that bordered loathing the situation. With a sigh rolling from his lips Tōzō spoke again, “I call you an understatement…because you could not protect the only thing that truly mattered to you. You could not even save your mother from simple. Easy to kill. Humans. How pathetic are you to even gain any acceptance from me to own my power? I know full well what will happen if I take over your body. I will get killed, and so will you as a result, and I know if I lose by you, I will be imprisoned by your soul and made a type of tool. Both are something I detest, but I am most definitely not ignorant, nor am I stupid, to know which to choose. I say I want to control your body, but I do not wish to die. It just seems to go with the primal instinct that seems to be bundle up with ‘us Tōzō’. To be honest, I put up a fight to prove you worthy. I will still want to come out to play, who wouldn’t, but I want only a worthy user. Understand this, Hideki. Tōzō is not just a weapon. Tōzō is you.” Hideki cringed when Tōzō spoke of his mother and that anger built as Tōzō continued to speak. Hideki’s fist clenched so hard on Datenshi’s Tsuka that it began to bleed and Hideki let out a yell of anger as Tōzō finished. “You. Son. Of. A. b***h! How dare you go that far! I was only two! Only two and had to live with a wound that narrowly missed my heart! You sick ********! I never grew up with her! Then after death, I had to watch her sick fate once again! Only that time…that time I had an emotional connection with her…You sick b*****d…” Hideki lifelessly breathed out the last words of his torrent of emotion. Tears of pain and hatred ran down his face, silently, as Hideki had no inflection of his voice that normally came with crying. Slicking Datenshi off to the side, Hideki vanished from his spot in front of him and was behind Tōzō with Datenshi drawn back at his side. He was low in his stance and his Reiatsu erupted from his body, lacerating Tōzō’s body with its feeling as well as felling an ocean above his head. Hideki yelled out and slide Datenshi up from Tōzō’s right hip to his left shoulder then pulled back and stabbed Datenshi into Tōzō’s back, just below his heart before disappearing and solidifying in front of Tōzō with his blade in the same position, but the blade now protruding out of his back. “You piece of s**t. You are so lucky I need you in the coming battle. You made this personal and you will know my hatred for others more than any other in the world. This is my world, though. I will win. You will lose.” Twisting Datenshi, Hideki carved a permanent hole in Tōzō’s chest just under his heart and smiled as the being began to shred away. He felled that evil, and now could use him as a tool. Quite the humiliation, right?

After this, Hideki returned to the Realm of the Living in terms of sight and feeling. The Bakudo was cancelled as nothing went wrong and Hideki left for his room again.

Hideki boiled some water when he entered his room and seeped some tea while he returned to his quarters. He closed the blinds and made his room as dark as he possibly could. He sat on the edge of his bed and was breathing slowly as he drank his tea ever so slowly. His face was dull and null of any emotion. He simply sat and drank before setting his small cup of tea on his night stand by the clock that showed the time at noon and drifted off to a slumber of recovery and relaxation. He would, after this, train for the one year and six months until he was needed to take back the Seireitei.

[Holy s**t suckers this came out uber long.]
Outline:
1) Hideki leaves roof for his room [commical at best:: Read that]
2) He has a nightmare of the past
3) He wakes for training and makes coffee
4) He leaves for training, pwns his Tozo, japanese for inversed image
5) then goes back to sleep at noon.

Tadashi Sakamoto

9th Division Lieutenant

Sakamoto nearly laughed out loud when he heard Suzume ask him that. He did end up cracking a smile at the irony of her statement, though. "I think...it's been a bit overdue, to be honest," he answered modestly. 'Overdue' was putting it mildly for the Lieutenant -Tadashi wanted this battle. The kind of person that he truly was, he had long since accepted. However, he simply kept that inner demon suppressed and under control much like how Tenma did outside of battle.

Tadashi paused for a moment after saying that and debated on whether she would take it the wrong way or not. She might think he that he was relishing the upcoming battle (and she'd be right), or that in his professional opinion, he thought the Shinigami had waited too long. Deciding he didn't want the conversation to end (especially on that note), he went on speaking. "So...what do you make of this battle? I mean...their initial attack ended in..." Tadashi mentally chastised himself for pretty much referencing the casualties of that particular battle, one of which had taken its toll on Suzume. For some reason, he really didn't want to remind her of that and risk making her upset (or sad, for that matter). He attempted to make a recovery. "...in our exile here," he said, after a slight pause. Ah, how foolish he felt.

[More Tadashi antisocial awkwardness. Also, there is a disturbing pattern of tl;dr in this guild. Just saying.]

⋆⋆⋆ HAKASE xELISIA
yonbantaixTAICHO

Elisia did not bother to mask her surprise which was quite visible on her face as she heard her wife’s words. It was not so much the fact that she seemed to know the exact location of four people, and most likely the others as well, but the fact that Hei was not next to Yuki or Senka. To tell the truth, she always thought that he would want to spend his time with them, especially since they were together in the same room in the early morning but then again, they couldn’t stay together forever. Also, since Yokozuki was there, it was likely that Captain wanted something from Hei and Yuki might have taken Senka away to the main lobby so that it gave those two some private time. That was just one theory thought and there could be a million and one other reasons that could fit the given situation. Perhaps Yuki wanted to play with her daughter for a short while, or needed to do something for the meantime. Shrugging her shoulders at herself, she let herself be led towards the main lobby. At first, she was content with simply chatting to Tsukiko about random things to keep her mind off anything that she could be anxious about, such as the future lack of her wife’s presence at the later battle, her lack of time with her sister and-- she abruptly cut off that thought, although not showing it outwardly, and mentally repeated the word ‘Calm’ to herself several times. She was feeling much better and felt as if she could take basically everything on, but her control over herself was slipping. It seemed like it was time for her to relax herself again. Meditation wasn’t that helpful, apparently, unless she managed to do it every five minutes.

She had been so wrapped up in her thoughts and her talking that they arrived faster than she realized, just in time to hear Tetsunosuke asking Yuki whether she was alright. Was Yuki alright? Hurrying the last stretch, she pulled Tsukiko along with her, before stopping next to Tetsunosuke as she looked at the other woman with concern. No, there was nothing too bad at the moment and with his question, she had expected that Yuki would be extremely pale or look extremely sick. Then again, she didn’t know for sure that Yuki was well, although, to Elisia herself, it looked as if the woman was simply sleeping. Letting out a long sigh of relief, she loosened her hand’s grip on her wife’s hand which had been rather tight in her panic over Yuki. She pulled an apologetic smile towards Tsukiko although she doubted that the other girl would have been hurt by that, especially since Elisia herself did not possess that much physical strength. Thinking that it might be best if she greeted the Captain Commander first, she said politely, “Good morning to you, shuuto-san,” before leaning down and smiling at the little girl. She gently ruffled the small patch of blond hair that was on Senka’s head, before smiling and saying,
“Looks like you’re growing well, eh, Senka?” Straightening her back, she turned her attention on Tetsunosuke, her smile growing bigger as she greeted him as well, “A very good morning to you as well, Harasawa-Taichō. How have you been?” To tell the truth, she still felt a little bad about the fact that she had not defended his actions against Hei, as she found out later, that he was suffering from firstly hearing about the death, or at least, that was what she preferred to refer to it as, of the previous Captain Commander and then the death of his previous Captain, Kyoshiro, who apparently killed himself because of the casualties that he caused in his vampire form. A brief expression of sadness crossed her face for a second, but it vanished and flickered out of sight as her smile came back in full force.

Suzume’s worries were barely anything now, firstly by his previous smile and this smile, which seemed even more genuine than the last. To tell the truth, she didn’t really know exactly what he seemed to find to be something to be happy over, but as long as he seemed relatively cheerful, it wasn’t that bad, right? His reply did not surprise her in the least and she wasn’t entirely certain why. Then again, perhaps that was because of the fact that she had also been waiting for it as well. It was a feeling that she could emphasize with, as she had been feeling it recently in the upcoming days to today, which she had marked and remembered firmly as the day that they would regain Seireitei. She was about to answer with something, although she wasn’t completely sure exactly what she was going to say in reply, when he continued to her astonishment. Then again, he most likely had other things to say. Listening intently, she felt herself slip back into the depression of this morning and before when he mentioned the fact that their initial attack ended in something, which automatically put her mind back to the death of Nanashi. But, as she told herself, he wasn’t necessarily dead, just in another world. Keeping the smile firmly fixed on her face, she did not let it affect her as greatly as before, instead nodding in reply. “Yes, I think it is pretty overdue. It’ll be great to be able to go back into a real battle, right? This battle will be pretty challenging again, I guess, but I hope that this time will be better than the last. Hopefully, everything will pay off this time around. Anyway, we’ve got the Sotaichō back, so that’s got to count for something, right?”

Tadashi Sakamoto

9th Division Lieutenant

Tadashi nodded with some degree of surprise when she expressed her slight pleasure at being able to go back into battle. He supposed that the other Shinigami were anxious as well, although he had to remember that most probably didn't share Sakamoto's reasons for doing so.

"Well...yes. But in addition to the Head-Captain, we do have the advantage of the Vizard Captains...which, most likely, will easily shift the battle to our favor," Tadashi mused, though with a noticeably mixed tone in his voice. On the one hand, he was upset that he hadn't gotten the opportunity to join the ranks of the Vizards (even though it wasn't in his place to do so in the first place). On the other hand, he was glad that the Shinigami had some added strength going into the battle against the Sephira. And, hey, at least this time, he wouldn't be stuck fighting a Lesser Exaequare while the true opponents were dealt with elsewhere. Of course, he didn't expect to be able to fight or even see the leader of the Sephira in the invasion to come, but at least he would be on the battlefield...and, hopefully, he'd be able to kill at least one of the bastards (or bitches) who'd exiled the Shinigami to the Human World.

----------Embarrassing picture of sponge bob at the Christmas party.

---- Not wishing to draw out the prolonged torture that he was now feeling, he spat out what he wanted from Hei as simple as possible, without going into any unnecessary detail. "The thing is, lately I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping, I've tried a lot of remedies, but none seem to work, so, I was wondering, if you had anything that might help, if not, you know whatever, but it would be much appreciated." He finished his sentence and rubbed the back of his head, he didn't know if Hei needed any further explanation, not that he was really interested in exchanging anymore words, and he knew Hei's feelings were pretty much mutual. "Can't do any fighting if I'm not at the top of my game right?" His eyes began to roll around, thumbs twitching and his left heel tapping repeatedly on the ground, showing how uncomfortable he was talking to him.

[Short? Yes, but what more could one possibly do in this sort of situation, don't like it?...I care."

With a sigh and a theatrical shrug, her wry smile indicates she understood he was not angry. "It was an attempt to engage in conversation Lee, you know that!~" Watching as he eats the entire meal, the woman hiding her pleasure with her hands, he returns and answer her question. "You could say that......" She wondered if she should use her newfound abilities during the fight. Though they grant her power she had never even imagined she could wield, her hollow wasn't as controlled as the others, though that didn't mean she didn't have no reign over the beast. No...no.. She shook her head as if trying to shake away her doubts. She couldn't let personal feelings be an issue when it came down to battle. She had new powers to defeat the Sephira, if she faltered now due to her inability to act, she was a disgrace as a captain.

"H-huh?!"

Her concentration was broken by his firm hands upon her shoulders, a surge of electricity flowing throughout her body, enough so that her inner hollow had to voice in a rather annoying wolf whistle. "I-its okay Lee....." Watching as he drifted out the door, Nu stood there, her legs shaking. She could face down Arian, lose a arm during battle, and still nothing brings more feelings to her body then that man's touch. With a sigh, she slumps back into her chair, staring back out the window. It occured to her, like it usually does when she drifts off, that she will eventually see the man who took the first man she lovd away from her. The first time she saw the man, she had thrown herself at him in a blind rage. She wouldn't be alive now if not for Yuki, and with their retreat, it was the last time she saw the man. A stray hair irrating her, she quickly reaches for the annoyinf strand. With that, she rises, deciding it was time for her to get some excersise in before the battle.

"Humph......"

Closing the door for a moment, a muffled explosion occurred and a plume of smoke enveloped the room, before a small cat walked out. She was pleased she could still go in this form, and surprisingly, her usual metal prosthetic was transformed back into its furrier feline counterpart of a limb. Closing her eyes, she could see that Eriko was here, and it didn't take a genius to know where she would be. Instead, she peered down the hall, sensing noone of interest. This only meant everyone was up, which was nice, and that, with a little more concentration, she found Elisia in the main lobby, which was her next destination. She has long since revealed her more feline form to the girl, and its gotten to the point where it was uncommon for her to stop by the girl while in this body. Coming down the stairs and eventually reaching the lobby, she wasn't surprised to find Elisia and her wife, as well as Yuki and Harasawa present. Her cat eyes scanning the room, her eyes eventually found Senka's and what could be called a smile appeared on her face. The girl was growing up nicely, typical if the parents were Hei and Yuki. While Tetsunosuke kept Senka at bay, as the girl had the habit of messing around with the Captain while she was like this, Mitsuru causally strolled and purred at the base of Elisia's feet, completely satisfied. The heat from the fireplace was soothing, but she resisted the urge to curl up now and nap once again.

Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

Yuki had begun a slow descent into a dream-like state, or something very similar to it where all she was focused on or allowed herself to hear was the sounds her daughter made while amusing herself with her curiosity. This state, however, was broken apart by Tetsunosuke's emergence into the lobby and subsequent greeting, followed up by several statements about him and other subjects. It would only be a matter of time, she reminded herself, before people would start waking up and taking to confronting her. Some would be attracted to the infant in her lap while others would come on strictly business. And given the movement she was detecting all around her, that time was now. While Tetsunosuke spoke, she kept her eyes closed and her arms draped across the back of the couch until he was finished, prompting her to open an eye and train it on him. "If you can't find any other reason to fight than no reason at all, then make that your reason. Fight to win- to live. Sometimes, that's the best kind of reason." Exhaling a small sigh as Elisia and Tsukiko closed in on her and Tetsunosuke, Yuki opened her other and lifted her head off the back of the couch. "Yes, I am fine." Yuki nodded to Elisia and listened as Senka let out a shriek upon contact with Elisia, and saw that she quickly whipped her head in her direction.

When Nu approached, in her cat form nonetheless, Senka began to struggle in Yuki's lap, turning over onto her belly and poking her head over the side of the couch to get a good view of the animal. A few seconds of leg rubbing had passed from the animal before Senka extended her arm in Nu's direction and tilted her head back to her mother, explicitly passing on the message that she wanted it, to hold, or at the very least hug. "Really?" Yuki put on a look of confusion at this request, but her doubts at her motives were washed away when she let out a squeal and extended her other hand, pulling herself onto the arm of the couch, and pressing her stomach against it while looming over the cat. "Well okay then. Sorry about this Nu..." Holding Senka back from crawling over the edge of the couch, she leaned over the edge herself, scooped up Nu and set her on the couch to her right, then picked Senka up and put her next to Nu, curiously watching for her next course of action and keeping her hand close by. Senka aptly took Yuki's hovering hand and got onto her feet, then suddenly decided to sit back down. Staring at Nu for several silent seconds, Senka finally decided on her next course of action and extended a hand and touched her fur, then promptly glomped the cat, holding her gently in her embrace while laughing to herself.

"Cute..." Yuki said in passing as she turned her attention to Elisia and Tsukiko. "What brings you down here this early in the morning? I'm quite surprised to see that the two of you would be in public, considering Tsukiko's absence in the war today. I would have thought you would have taken an extra hour or two to, uh..." Noting that Tetsunosuke was still present, she decided against being graphic in his presence and settled on some innuendo instead. "Do the deed, as it were." Without waiting for a response to this, she looked back to see that Senka was still cuddling Nu and smiled. "Well, at long as you're up, you could prepare your father's tools. I'm sure he would appreciate that." She put stress on the word "tools" just so Tsukiko would catch onto what she meant. She was, of course, referring to the many poisons that Hei would be utilizing in the war to come, but this knowledge was not privy to anyone outside of the immediate Hakase family, and as such, being vague was appropriate.

[I'm not really sure why you decided otherwise, Ichi, but Senka did not leave Yuki's lap after she let her walk around the first time, so she should still be in her lap when Tetsu entered. Also, I don't think you guys understand how hard it was for me to not have Yuki call Nu "Mr. Yoruchi" while picking her up.]

Hibiki Kirisho
- Squad Nine Captain -

================================================

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show. The gods trembled
The demons flocked

Truth be told, Hibiki’s original room in the apartment complex was quite small, even if it was for just one occupant. However, this didn’t bother him that much as he was used to living a Roman lifestyle of sorts. As such, tight living quarters and barely average living conditions didn’t irk him as much as they would normally would, but, what he couldn’t stand was the fact that a certain someone had the gall to purchase the entire compound so that he and his family could rest and relax in spacious rooms, while the rest were made to pack themselves in like tuna fish using what was left. True, he didn’t mind the others as he respected them; it was just that one person that more or less masterminded this entire situation. Noting the insane amount of disposable money he had on him, Hibiki wondered why he simply didn’t rent a suite for him and his extended family, after all, for someone of his snobbish and extremely irritating high-brow caliber, Hibiki wondered why he would put up with a place that was as sub-par as Hibiki’s, or rather his, apartment.

But he knew it was pointless to dwell on it for too long, seeing as how he was going to have to live with it for practically a year. Seeing as how Yuki was pregnant, Hibiki guessed the ceasefire, or rather training would go on for nine months. However, he didn’t factor in the fact that Yuki would most likely be physically lacking in terms of combat prowess, after all anyone would after nine months of doing nothing so as to ensure a safe and healthy birth. In the nine months that spanned Yuki’s pregnancy, Hibiki, from time to time, occasionally forgot that she was their Commander-General, and not just some pregnant woman. The Captain scolded himself for these momentary bouts of ignorance, and was careful not to let anyone know lest he find himself in an extremely embarrassing situation.

Speaking of training, Hibiki was surprised, shocked and astonished even when he learned that an underground training facility was to be built underneath the apartment they were staying at. It posed a lot of problems for him, which all vanished once he realized he wasn’t going to stay in the compound after this whole events was finished anyway. After all, where else were they going to train themselves, true that they would be unseen to normal people, and even those that possessed some degree of spiritual power, would probably think they were dreaming or had gone insane, so they’d most likely remain unnoticed. However, they would most likely be seen by hollow scouts if they were to train in the open, and the fact that the abilities of their zanpakuto affected the Human World directly meant that the possibility of civilian casualties was too high. Added to that some of them were Vizards now, including Hibiki, this only increased the danger of their training.

Even after a full year, Hibiki still couldn’t believe he was now a Vizard, a chimera of sorts, a by-product of an unsuccessful hollowfication of a Shinigami. What was worst was the fact that unlike the others, he was not willing to undergo devolution just for the sake of power. This left him quite bitter, which only intensified during their training as he was expected to make use of his Vizard powers, something that he wasn’t exactly all too eager to use. Hibiki wondered why he was chosen, the others volunteered for the transformation, true Hibik abhorred it, but if it was their choice then he was in no position to stop them. But that was it, they had a choice, he didn’t. He wasn’t exactly the most powerful Captain amongst them, and he believed he wasn’t the weakest either, and even so, he rationalized that the prime subjects for hollowfication would be the most powerful Captains so as to yield a more powerful output, as this was that man’s intentions after all. Hibiki realized that this list also included Yuki, that man’s sister and wife, or at least that was what Hibiki guessed, seeing as how the two had two kids in between them. And if they still weren’t married by that time it would be quite odd, although the fact that they did it in the first place, despite them being siblings was already odd to Hibiki. Nonetheless, given the fact that Yuki was quite close to Hei, a bit too much for Hibiki’s stomach even, he didn’t wonder why Yuki wasn’t chosen as a candidate for hollowfication. True she was Captain-Commander, but she was also close to Hei, the same went for Tsukiko, who was probably never going to undergo hollowfication because of the same reason, and the fact that she was a robot, a brilliant cover-up as far as Hibiki was concerned. True at this point he was simply being hostile to nearly anyone around him, but it was more or less acceptable, given the circumstances. But still, he wondered why he was chosen, if it was because of his utter spite for him, Hibiki wondered why Captain Lee wasn’t chosen as well. It couldn’t have been because he was the only one capable of binding the Vizard while hollwfication was underway, because Tsukiko could utilize her gravitational powers to produce the same desired effect as well. In the end, Hibiki just chalked it up to Hei’s insanity and wanton disregard for the feelings of others, not to mention his selfishness.

Nonetheless, despite his bitter feelings towards the entire fiasco, Hibiki ended up becoming a whole lot better in terms of fighting capabilities during their training. And though he wasn’t nearly at the same level as the other Captains and Vizards, he was still respectable in his own right. Though, he honestly wondered how much would change this time around, the Sephira probably weren’t just sitting around eating cake all day while they were training, and despite his best efforts to remain optimistic, Hibiki still couldn’t shake the feeling that they were going to be in for a much more difficult fight than the last time. However, this was no time to harbor negative emotions, after all today was the day they finally make their move against the Sephira, a day which Hibiki would start off fast asleep in his room, or rather his and Suzume’s room, something that made him wonder as to why of all people he was chosen to bunk in with Suzume. Not that there was anything wrong with her, but the fact that she was a girl made for some very awkward moments on Hibiki’s part, though he wasn’t sure if the same applied to her. Nonetheless, those were the cards he was sorely dealt with and he figured whining about it wasn’t going to get him anywhere.

Thus, as the others started to wake up, Hibiki was still soundly asleep, at least until he was rudely awakened by a strong poke to the head with the end of a scabbard. His mind jumping back into consciousness, Hibiki’s ears picked up the familiar voice of the person who awakened him ”Are you still asleep?” came the sudden voice of Kaze, leaning over Hibiki as he was laying on the ground, apparently being the one who woke him up, rather rudely at that. Blinking his eyes for a few seconds before sitting up, Hibik looked around to find himself inside his inner world, something that seemed odd to him ”What am I doing here?” he asked as he stood back up, scratching his head as he did so. Stepping back a bit to give Hibiki clearance, Kaze replied ”That’s the question I’m supposed to ask you, Hibiki.” he spoke in a nonchalant tone, as was common for him ”Your comrades are awakening, one by one, and yet here you are still soundly asleep like some hairless sloth. Is this how you spend the first few hours of the day you and your lot have been training for, for an entire year?” asked the man, whether he was irritated or not was difficult to decipher as his voice was fairly monotone. Soon after he finished speaking, Oni descended from the sky, circling around him for a bit before perching itself upon his shoulder, its usual resting place. Sighing to himself as he rubbed his eyes, Hibiki swept back his hair to fix it for a bit before replying to Kaze, still a bit dreary and half-asleep ”Alright, alright, I’m up already aren’t I? I swear you can be a bit of a nagger sometimes--“ commented Hibiki, before he stopped himself when he realized Oni had come into contact with Kaze. Tensing up, he waited for his inner hollow to materialize itself, however, much to his surprise it never occurred. Noticing his sudden tenseness, Oni tilted its head as he faced Hibiki while Kaze commented ”What? Why are you staring at us as if we were going to attack you?” spoke the man, to which Oni tilted its head to Kaze, causing him to nod in response ”Yes, I suppose it is wise that he remains aware of the fact that we can, indeed, do so. But I was not planning on attacking him, as were you. replied Kaze, showcasing the fact that only he can understand Oni. Scratching his head as he waited for their brief conversation to end, Hibiki replied to Kaze once the two were finished ”Well, isn’t it a bit dangerous for you two to come in contact? I mean, what if he shows up again?” asked Hibiki, obviously pertaining to his inner hollow. Slightly raising one of his eyebrows, Kaze finally showed even a slight bit of emotion, even if it was just barely ”He? He who? Do not use pronouns for a person, just because you cannot accept his name, Hibiki.” spoke Kaze in a rather stern tone ”Hollow, he is your inner hollow. That is his name and that is what he is. Don’t think you can just forget about the fact that you’re now a Vizard, Hibiki.” finished Kaze, before allowing a brief silence to fall, just to allow his words to settle in with Hibiki. True enough, they struck him quite profoundly, Hibiki always found it irritating that Kaze found flaws in nearly everything he did, true most of the time it was for his own good, but the fact that the man could read him like an open book irked him at times. Though, he supposed he was right, he was indeed hoping to forget about being a Vizard. In all honesty, he was planning on going through the entire war without having to utilize his mask, but he realized it was childish thing to do. Problems don’t just disappear once you forget about them, he didn’t like it, but there was nothing else he could do but make use of his powers. Closing his eyes, Kaze gave a slight nod as he saw that Hibiki seemed to have finally understood and accepted his situation ”Now, as for your concern. Don’t think us so incompetent that we can’ coexist with your inner hollow, Hibiki.” spoke Kaze, which would most likely surprise Hibiki, and true enough it did ”Wait, what? Coexist? How is that possible?” stammered out Hibiki, which was met by a slight shake of the head by Kaze ”Don’t categorize an inner hollow as a parasite, Hibiki. Parasites are geared to only one mindset, inner hollows, much like zanpakutos, are capable of rational thought, as well as a give and take relationship.” stated Kaze, surprising Hibiki even more. However, their conversation would have to be put on hold, as it was about time Hibiki woke up, something which Oni was quick to remind Kaze, pecking him slightly on the head, something only he could ever fully understand. Looking at the bird and responding with a quick nod, Kaze looked at Hibiki once more ”In any case, it’s about time you woke up.” he spoke, as he extended his hand towards Hibiki ”And it’s about time your inner hollow got ready as well.” spoke Kaze, before snapping his fingers, causing a quick flash of black reiatsu to envelope him, before fading away to reveal Hibiki’s inner hollow, positioned in the exact way Kaze was. Grinning from ear to ear, the hollow tilted its head at Hibiki, before using Shunpo to quickly move in front of him, his hand already speeding towards Hibiki’s face as if in an attempt to slice through him ”Time to wake up.” he spoke, as his nails neared his flesh, ”Vizard.”

With that, Hibiki’s eyes sprang open, before he jolted up into a sitting position, panting slightly from his close encounter with his inner hollow. Covering his face with his hands, he wiped his eyes and face of the morning weariness and gave a quick glance at the room he was staying in. Given the fact that he was bunking in with a girl, they decided to place a divider between them, Hibiki was on one side and Suzume was on the other. Though this made the arrangement a whole lot less awkward for Hibiki, it made the room seem much smaller, though he was more or less used to it by now. Swiping his hair back to try and fix his bed hair, Hibiki stood up to take a peek if Suzume was still there or not, though it seemed a bit inappropriate, Hibiki certainly didn’t want to enter the shower with a girl in the room, no matter who that girl was. Thankfully for him, Suzume had already vacated the room while he was still asleep, allowing Hibiki to take a shower without the unwanted feeling of awkwardness that, for the duration of their stay, only he felt. Once he was done, he went back to his side of the room, taking out a small box placed near his bed containing Mokinrui, something he had invented during his stay in the Human World. It had already been finished a year back, but he didn’t get a chance to use it during the Sephira’s invasion, seeing as how they attacked them during a wedding and Hibiki sure as heck wouldn’t be carrying around a pair of weapon-customized gauntlets to an occasion such as a wedding, or any occasion for that matter. Taking out the two steel covered armaments, Hibiki disassembled them to check for any defects, aside from mediocrity of the assembly, before cleaning out the individual bits and pieces. After reassembling them, Hibiki gave each mode a quick test check to see if they were still functioning, and after half an hour, he was finally confident enough to say they were ready as ever. Though, Hibiki wondered if they would do much in the battle, he certainly wasn’t as good with mechanics as Tsukiko or Hideki, but he liked to think he was somewhat capable. And though he could’ve asked either of them to look at his contraption to see if they could improve on it, he decided not to be a bother and just do it himself. Besides, it was his invention, and he liked to think since he made it, only he could tinker around with it. Though, he guessed he was being a just tad bit to prideful on it. Looking at the mechanical arms, he recalled Captain Nu, specifically because she had been crafted a mechanical arm to replace the arm she lost during the invasion. Hibiki wondered just how that would work, as far as he knew the body was moved by nerves, hair-like strands at best that dictated one’s movements and sensations. And from what he could piece together after reading some magazines, machines moved via circuitry, which was, in essence, electrical currents directed through circuit boards. Putting those two ideas together, Hibiki winced, a bit, as he imagined it would be quite a painful operation, at best.

Shrugging such thoughts from his mind, Hibiki looked at the alarm clock by his bed, which he forgot to set up before he slept. Hibiki realized it was more or less about time they head out. Quickly he dressed himself in his Shinigami garb, though he had a Gigai for such lengthy stays in the Human World, he ended up barely using it, as such it was just in one corner of his room, sitting there silently. It was a rather chilling scene, for a time at least. Shaking his head, Hibiki ignored it as he fastened his boots and straightened out his jacket’s sleeve. Seeing as how he last went to Soul Society in a formal suit and not in a Shinigami uniform, and seeing as how he would have no reason to have a spare uniform in his apartment, Hibiki was dressed in a rather casual attire, made from his spare clothes after they had been converted to spirit particles. Something that he was a bit hesitant to do, seeing as how he wasn’t too keen on buying new clothes to replace them. Rolling up his jacket’s sleeves, Hibiki strapped Mokinrui to his forearms, before rolling the jacket back down to conceal them. The weapons was already in its Washi mode, thus it was significantly lighter and thinner, making it easier to hide. Also, the jacket was rather spacious, thus making it easier to drape it over the armament. After everything was set and ready, Hibiki made his way to the apartment’s rooftop, as it was where the Senkaimon leading back to Soul Society was going to be opened. Needless to say, he was in a bit of a hurry as, in his mind, he was running late. However, once he reached the rooftop he found, to his surprise, that he was the only one there. Looking around, he breathed an audible sigh, either the others had gone before him already, or they were still somewhere in the building, and Hibiki honestly hoped it wasn’t the former.

Seeing as how he had nothing better to do, Hibiki did some stretching exercises before stopping midway, after realizing that he had forgotten his zanpakuto in his room. Lightly slapping himself in the face for his sheer ignorance and carelessness, Hibiki walked back towards his room and picked up his zanpakuto ”Seriously? You spent a half-hour tinkering with that piece of scrap and yet you forgot your own zanpakuto?” scolded Kaze, much to Hibiki’s chagrin ”Well, it is kind of your own fault, since you didn’t remind me.” replied Hibiki, to which Kaze dragged him back into his inner world. Once there, the man whacked him across the head with his scabbard, and before Hibiki could make a response, pushed him out back into the real world. Gritting his teeth a bit, upon feeling the thump, Hibiki shook his head as he exited his room once more ”I swear I don’t know what’s worse, you or my inner hollow.” spoke Hibiki, as he made his way back to the rooftop once more. He’d wait for the others there, as he didn’t exactly feel like interacting with anyone just yet. He was still quite bitter about the entire event, and one year of sharing an apartment with the man who started the entire mess wasn’t exactly doing wonders for his anger management issues. Nonetheless, he wasn’t going to let it get in the way of the oncoming battle, though he suspected it would be easier said than done. Arriving at the rooftop, Hibiki sat down near where his hollowfication had taken place. It had been an entire year since that fateful day; they said it was for the better, so that they were better equipped to win the war with the Sephira. But Hibiki’s gut told him that the decision it was going to come back and bite them in the rear end one day. And for Hibiki, the thought only made him more spiteful, more fearful, now it was no longer a battle between Shinigami and Hollows. To Hibiki, it seemed more like a battle with each other. Closing his eyes as he rested his head on the rooftop’s railings, he tried his best to drive those thoughts out of his mind, in vain.

[Long story short, Hibiki woke up, went to the roof, went back down, went to the roof again and is now 'meditating']

⋆⋆⋆ HAKASE xELISIA
yonbantaixTAICHO

Hearing a loud purr from the base of her feet and feeling something there as well, Elisia looked down to find out exactly what it was, resting her startled eyes on a cat. For a few seconds, she merely stayed at the cat in confusion, wondering exactly how a cat had either managed to bypass the barrier around the block of apartments or why she had never noticed that one of the inhabitants kept pets, before her mind kicked back into motion and she remembered the fact that one of the Captains, namely Nu, one of her closest friends, could transform into a cat. It had been quite a surprise to see the fact that Nu could transform and Elisia had nearly fainted of shock the first time that Nu showed her, and had never managed to entirely get used to the fact that Nu was in a cat. Despite this, she smiled at Nu’s feline form, giggling at the cuteness of Nu’s appearance and was about to move to scoop the cat up before anything else happened. One never knew what might happen with Senka around, or the others, even. “I guess I should be saying good morning to you as well~! How have you been?” she said cheerfully to Nu.

She rapidly blinked her eyes in surprise as she stopped half-way as Nu was suddenly taken away and moved by Yuki onto the couch. With sharp eyes, she watched inquisitively as the little girl switched between doing several different things before hugging, or more attacking, if one wanted to put it that way, the cat. Yuki’s ‘Cute’ was rather suitable for the sight in front of them, although she had to admit, that it was slightly inadequate for the exact feelings that Senka and Nu brought. Children were quite wonderful to have around, as she had seen by the presence of Senka, and sometimes, she wished that she could have a child of herself to raise. Yet, she knew that was impossible, due to the fact that her partner was a girl, as well as a gynoid, and both of them were too busy to be able to look after one child. It was only the fact that they had been confined to the Human World, that most likely allowed Hei and Yuki to be able to take care of Senka. Then again, there was always the option of adoption, if she wanted to go there. The wistful look never left her face as she gazed longingly at Senka playing with Nu, but she brought herself back to reality as she noticed the fact that Yuki was talking to her and Tsukiko about one thing or another.

When she had turned her focus on Yuki and on what the other woman said, she stared at Yuki, bewilderment written over her face and there was no conscious thought in her mind of what Yuki meant. “Do the deed?” she furrowed her eyebrows as she thought that through, before her free hand automatically leapt up to cover her mouth as she realized. “Oh. Oh. Oh,” she breathed, her cheeks automatically heating up and turning a red colour. While she didn’t mind about her wife, Yuki or even Senka being there when something like this was hinted at, the fact that Tetsunosuke and Nu-chan were present, made her feel uneasy and embarrassed about the entire situation she found herself in, feeling as if she had been caught for doing something wrong. Blocking out those emotions as best as she could, she replied in the calmest voice she could muster at the moment, “Nah, I got up early this morning and we thought we’d just see if we could find you and say good morning, as well as settle Senka since Tsukiko’s taking care of her.” As Tsukiko was apparently needed to do something for Hei, which wasn’t totally unexpected as the other girl was his daughter as well as his Lieutenant, she lightly kissed her wife on the cheek, completely releasing her grip on Tsukiko’s hand, before telling her wife, “Well, I’ll see you later, alright? Send my greetings to Shuuto-san, alright?” Turning her head to Yuki now, she tilted her head to one side, before asking, “Anyway, how are you feeling this morning? Did Senka keep you up last night?”

| Might as well get up a post while I still can - busy, busy, busy times up ahead. Sorry, Ichi-Ichi. gonk |

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxSUZUME CHIYOKO

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLoneliness hit me suddenly,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it’s only t h e n that I realized,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxafter all that I have ever DREAMED of,
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI really don’t like F I G H T I N G

As she studied him with some curiosity on his face, she finally put her mind to wondering exactly why he would be so anxious to go into battle. While she could empathize with that, she was unsure of whether his reason would be the same as hers. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that they hadn’t been in a battle like that for ages? Maybe the baby was irritating him? Nah, she was just speculating as always. In any case, it would be most rude to ask a question like that and it wasn’t something that she was intending to get herself into at this particular moment in time. As he mentioned the Vizard Captains, she nodded her head, a thoughtful look upon her face. The idea of actually seeing a Vizard Captain in battle was still a little daunting and of course, something that she both dreaded and anticipated. After all, while it would be absolutely awesome to be able to see one fighting in battle, she didn’t doubt that she would be scared of the Captain’s appearance. Hopefully, none of them would turn out as scary as Hei. Nu seemed pretty nice, from what she knew, but that could be easily shattered if the other girl’s appearance was entirely terrifying. It was a lucky thing that her Captain and her sister had not become Vizards, since it would make both of them alien to her. Anyway, she couldn’t see her timid sister doing that in any case. Wondering what it would be like for someone close to them, or at least, relatively close to them, she replied, “The Vizard Captains should help quite a bit yes and I hope that they can stay in control. Then again, that was what all the training was for, right? I know this may be rather random, but what does it feel like to have a Vizard Captain?”

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

Sixth Division's Captain

User Image

Tetsu felt sort of bad, he hadn't really concerned himself with not awaking her, but turning to the selfish way and rambling about himself. When she replied, she made good and valid points, but Tetsunosuke was really ever one to just do something for himself. "Yes, ma'am..." He said softly to her reply just before Elisia and Tsukiko came around the corner. He spared Elisia a glare, still feeling slightly angry over how Elisia treated him over a year ago. While Tetsu wasn't friends with Hibiki really, he honestly didn't approve of how Hei used him that way. And especially how Elisia defended Hei's approach, he wasn't against her defending her new father-in-law; it was all just personal matters to him at the moment and personal grudges, which was something he was struggling with at the moment. He felt that she should have handled it better, it was Tetsunosuke's own personal way of handling the situation; in his eyes, what Hei did was blasphemy to Soul Society. He honestly accepted when Yuki declared him a recipient to Hollowfication; it was an order, he felt as he had to... but since having this inner hollow, he felt that a change to him had taken affect. Elisia's concern for his well being came as a slight slander to him, why would she care for HIS well being, when she obviously didn't care for Hibiki's when he went through something involuntarily. His brow twitched as a clench jaw line was visible, he followed that with a slow exhale through his nose after he had loosen his clenched body. "Fine," was the only word he gave her, he looked to Tsukiko and then to a cat that had appeared. He had noticed her sympathetic look, but it didn't do any good, he detested her pity, or whatever it was she was thinking of; her smile wasn't much of an offering either. Tetsu looked down which was followed with an awkward look; finally realizing the cat that was here. He remember suddenly that Nu had a cat transformation, whom obviously was the cat.

'Justice... that's what Kyoshiro stood for... justice. If I have nothing else to fight for; I need to fight for HIS justice.' was the sudden thought that ran through his mind. 'What justice is truly left in this organization? How can I fight for a Captain-Commander who loves and defends a convict? How I can I say I am friend with a woman who also defends this man... Kyo, why did you have to leave when I need you the most, your insight of this situation would be a godsend.' Tetsu was thinking this all with a blank look, his eyes has dulled as he was thinking this, but the cute snapped him out of his inner thoughts.

Yuki started talking to her daughter and daughter-in-law, he felt like a third-wheel, though technically he was more like a sixth. Yuki's words made sense to Tetsunosuke, he wasn't ignorant to not know that do the deed meant have sex. He was unaffected by her words, and by Elisia's response, Tetsunosuke turned around and took a few steps toward the door, "I'll excuse myself." He said without looking back to them and exited out the front, just as he did, he heard Suzume talking about the Captains who had been turned into Vizard. A deep anger suddenly swelled up in a his gut. His azure blue eyes had a slight glow to them as he felt a rage steer within; they turned a slight tinge of purple and his whites started to gray and turn black if allowed. "Oh-hoho, Hara-kun, it looks like you're treated as some tool who's not trusted... how's that make you feel?" His inner hollow took the opportunity to taunt him. Tetsunosuke felt the temptation to reach into his pocket, grab the Kaizō Konpaku (Mod Soul) and show Suzume Chiyoko just how scared she should be of his inner being taking control. "Gogantai-fukutaichō, show some respect for the Taichō's who have made sacrifices for the Gotei 13! We didn't spend an entire year of rigorous training so that you can harbor inner thoughts about us losing control!!!" Tetsunosuke said with a sharp tongue. His rude interruption was quick and he felt out of it for a minute. He didn't know why he had lost control, he deduced it to be the events he had went through the past year i.e stress. He suddenly realized what he had done, and looked down at his hand to see that he was actually holding the Mod Soul. He pocketed it quickly and grasped the hand that had done it with his other hand. "I-I... I did not mean to yell, that just fuels your distrust in us even further; or me at least... I am sorry. Please excuse me..." His troubled words came as a quick response to his previous outburst. He started to walk by them, opening his month to speak again, "They'll never know what it's like to be one of us. It's only natural." Tetsu sounded as if he was talking to himself, but he was replying to what his Inner Hollow had said. After he exited the front gates, he turned left and headed down the street without looking back. He passed by a few places and other apartments before heading down another street. He wasn't going far, just to a small park near by to seat on the bench to escape.

Tadashi Sakamoto

9th Division Lieutenant

Tadashi listened intently to Suzume's words, which was a bit odd for him to do in a regular situation. It might have to do with the fact that he was on edge, or that he wanted to be polite to her for some reason. Whatever it was, though, he could agree about the Vizard Captains all the same. Being a Vizard meant being a master of control (which he himself was well-versed but not quite adept in), yet Hollow powers were unpredictable. Case in point - Hei's 'revival', of which he didn't recall ever getting the details of but not particularly questioning at the time.

He was about to respond that he really hadn't had much contact with Hibiki and thus could not tell her what it was like to have a Vizard Captain when he felt a presence close by and whirled around to meet it. His hand subconsciously went for his sword, but he'd left it in the room. Fortunately, (and also a bit obviously), it wasn't an enemy but rather one of the Vizard Captains, who then began to lash out at Suzume's words with his own. Tadashi was nearly inclined to snap at the Captain and tell him that he should be damned grateful for the power and so-called rigorous training. The Lieutenant would have liked nothing better than to occupy his time by grappling with an Inner Hollow for the control of his mind and growing significantly powerful in the end. In fact, he had longed to have been one of those selected, even though he was not a Captain. Tenma too would have enjoyed the chance, and neither Tadashi nor his zanpakuto would complain about the arrangements.

It was actually making him a bit angry, although Sakamoto quickly forced that brief spurt of rage down and shifted back into his regular stoic expression. By this time, Tetsunosuke had already calmed down and was walking away. Tadashi watched him go with a cold expression in his eyes, still unable to concieve what it would be like for someone other than himself to not enjoy such struggles for dominance and other such trials that the Inner Hollow subjected its owner to.
