Katsuro, Orion, Luo: Late afternoon, after the other Genin have left. Havik
Tajutsu // Suna Sp. Jounin // Seven Tailed Host Havik was caught off guard as Katsuro crippled to his bloodlines pain. "That was no ordinary justu draw back... This boy and his heritage is very interesting." Havik thought as Orion returned handing him his milk and wallet. As Orion made sure the Konaga was alright Havik popped open his gallon of milk and sucked half of it down, after he got his fill he took a packet of a off white powder from a pocket of his loose fitting, thin cloths and pored it into the remaining milk. The mixture was a strong pain reliever Misuki had made for him along with some sugar to sweeten the thick milk and help distract from the bitterness of the medicine. Once the concoction was completed Havik turned to were Dougon had passed out to see him already gone. Scratching the back of his head wondering how he missed the giant of a child leaving he shrugged, made a dust clone, handed over the milk and sent it off to find Dogoun and deliver the medication so that the boy wouldn't be crippled for to long, and could start his physical training when Havik returned form his next mission. Just after Havik sent off the clone he took a deep breath and caught the sent of Luo, one of the older Genin's of Suna, and so fair the most reliable when it came to missions, the kid was good. Turning and seeing that he had already came up to the group and stood quietly it clicked. He had his first Genin for the escort mission, along with that Orion showed pretty good promise as a protective roll, and Katsuro, well it seemed he could blow stuff up... at a cost. Feeling like this group was as good as any other Havik spoke up, drawing the attention away from Katsuro, and back to himself as he said "So... Um, well you three are coming on a mission with me. The supply caravan Katsuro helped pack has asked for better guards, and well you two seem to handle you self's well, and I know Luo can so you seem like the best choice at the moment." Havik spoke quickly but his words seemed choppy and random, like he was coming up with everything he was saying on the spot, frantically, and truth be told he was. For a moment his mind skipped over what he had just said and he thought about that, about how he does not plan things, and how he just reacts to different situations with basically the first thing that pops in his head, and as his mind trampled over these idea's he thought to himself "Huh... Might be why I have so many scars."Jerking his head slightly and bring his mind back to the matter at hand Havik spoke again, this time inquiring about the Genin. "So, is there anything you three need from me, or need to know about the Mission aside from minor combat and the fact we leave early tomorrow?

Alone in the training grounds:Yuuki TamaraThe Desert Hag With the silent swirl of sand in front of Yuuki a women in thick brow robes appeared, her face mostly covered by the hood and her dry, old hands neatly pressed together. The old women was silent for a moments as she looked over the young girl, power and wisdom pulsing from the women. She seemed as old as the desert its self, and her presence was just as foreboding and absolute. After the short moment of silence the Desert Hag spoke, her voice rasper, but strong "What have you come to learn girl?" The words piercing, and harsh almost as if she was daring Yuuki to answer her.

 Yuuki Tamara Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin Yuuki was a bit taken aback by the sudden appearance of a seemingly ancient woman. She stood there silently as she felt the woman's eyes rake across her body, taking in everything about her. When she asked what she wanted to learn, Yuuki shook off the bit of uncomfort she had and bowed deeply to the woman out of respect. "I would like to learn Katon Jutsu, sensei." She spoke with utter politeness towards the elder. Chakra: 25/25 Stamina 25/25 Element: Katon Attributes: Primary: Intelligence/Secondary: Agility/Tertiary: Cunning "Friendship is always worth protecting."

Alone in the training grounds:Yuuki TamaraThe Desert Hag "Katon style, Shoumeidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flare Technique)" Said the old women "A starter level fire jutsu in which you focus your chakra into your lunge, add your fire element, and then exhale." The words exited the women mouth fluidly, each one holding power, and knowledge as she spoke. "The flame will only last for a second, it is mostly used for illuminating dark area's. This being a E rank jutsu you should pick it up easily, but do not take it lightly, even the most basic jutsu can dangerous." The women finished speaking, but made no gesture for Yuuki to start training. She simple stood there, her hands pressed lightly together, and waited, but even though the Desert Hag made no mention for her young student to start, the aura around, her presence, made it clear that Yuuki was to start training. Katon: Shoumeidan no Jutsu (Fire Release: Flare Technique)
The user must mold chakra to their lungs, they are then able to exhale a close-ranged burst of heat and flame, which is like a tiny explosion from the mouth. The blast lasts but a second, and is mostly used to illuminate dark places.

 Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes Watching Havik down the milk sent a slight shiver down Luo's spine. It wasn't as if he didn't like the drink, however drinking milk in the warm desert sun wasn't exactly Luo's picture perfect idea of a refreshing beverage. Nevertheless, he listened to Havik speak and inform him of his next mission. Hearing that he would not be with Haseo on the mission, he sighed but wasn't too surprised. Haseo was probably asleep somewhere or possibly even on a mission somewhere.......and as that last thought rung through his head, Luo's straight face cracked into a light smile as he stifled laughing. There was no way his friend was actually doing work!
Havik seemed to as usual not really have planned out who he was taking on the mission. Otherwise, Luo probably would've known a bit in advance so he could have prepared. It bothered Luo that Havik didn't really think most things through, but not to any particular extent. For some reason be it chance, luck, or maybe his plain skill, Havik managed to get things done in the end despite either having or not having a plan.
Looking at the two he was to be with through his goggles, Luo shrugged with his hands still in his pockets, twisting the clover hanging out of his teeth. They certainly looked capable, but Luo couldn't put a finger on what sort of pain caused the other genin to buckle over like that. Looking at Havik Luo muttered to his final question, "Suiton scrolls, as well as some weapon scrolls to look at on the way, and senbon; the latter I can get myself. As for the mission, what's the full extent of the cargo we're escorting, to where is it going, and roughly how many days will this take?"
To most, Luo seemed a bit cold and distant, almost robotic. He muttered constantly as if slightly irritated, and for the most part no one ever actually saw his eyes. However, his right hand slowly slipped out of his pocket as he held it out to help the guy on the ground get up, stating with a slight smile, "Luo Ushio, nice to meet you....both." Turning, he nodded towards the other boy who asked about the one on the ground. Noticing quickly as he looked at everyone, Luo was younger.....much younger. He gathered the one standing was around Haseo's age which wasn't too far off, however the man he held his hand to looked about four to five years older. He wondered if he was the youngest genin in the village, however the thought didn't last long as he stared down at Katsuro waiting, his goggles unyielding, clover still hanging out the side of his closed mouth, and with the sun behind his head. For a young man, Luo could be rather intimidating sometimes, even when he didn't mean to be.  Orion Ekisho Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin/Crystal ReleaseOrion nodded at Luo's questions about their mission, they were pretty much the same ones he'd ask himself. Nodding back to Luo when he introduced himself he said "I'm Orion Ekisho, pleasure to meet you." Turning to Havik he said "I don't have much to add to Luo's questions beyond knowing what all of your skills are. It would help us work more cohesively if we had a grasp on each other's abilities and specialties. Beyond that I'd just like some more training today while we have time, I already have all of the tools and weapons I need." Orion had witnessed that Havik was strong and could do earth style and judging by Luo's wish for water scrolls he was probably a suiton user. But he didn't know anything about their skills beyond that, and Katsuro's not at all. Yuuki Tamara Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin Yuuki listened intently to the old woman's words then stood there for a moment. She turned towards the woman and spoke gently. "I don't mean to sound incompetent, but...what are the hand signs that are associated with this jutsu?" At the man's query as to whether they needed anything else, Katsuro cupped his chin as he thought about what he might need. "I could use scrolls of Raiton and Katon jutsu, and perhaps a scroll for a weapon style", Katsuro said, simply thinking out loud really. Nodding his head curtly, the platinum haired young man listened as his two apparent companions spoke."The caravan is carrying medical supplies, everything from syringes to morphine. I helped load it earlier this morning. As to where it's going, I can't say how many exactly, but it sounded like they were carrying the supplies to aid the other villages.", Katsuro said as he settled his chakra flecked eyes on Luo, "My name is Konaga Katsuro, it is a pleasure to meet you as well Luo." Turning towards Orion, it took him a short moment to recall if the he had ever formally introduced himself to Orion, but after a moment the face became clear. He wasn't sure why, but he had always had trouble remembering faces, aside from his parents of course, and those he had spent a lot of time around.
But when it came right down to it, Katsuro simply didn't spend a lot of time with others. It was not as if he disliked the people of his village, but while he didn't dislike being around others, he simply never cared to seek out companionship with them. His parents were enough, when he was around them everything was so much easier, so much clearer. But as he looked from Orion to Luo and then settling on Havik, he wondered if these people, his first real squad, would become true companions. That... sounds nice, Katsuro decided, nodding his head after a moment.... but you rarely get to choose the consequences."

Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes Shaking Katsuro's hand, Luo stepped back and listened to him speak. He answered his first two questions, however didn't answer the last. He wasn't sure if it was because Katsuro simply didn't know how long the mission would take, or if he simply forgot to mention it. Either way, it was a rather minor detail that Luo could've figured out at any point. deciding to answer Orion's question, Luo left out only one detail. This wasn't in order to be rude or anything, however there were certain things that were only on a neeed-to-know basis. And Luo's bloodline was just that: something they did not yet need to know about. Not only that, but Luo was rather resourceful without it. Besides, it would take far more time now to explain what he could do than it would for them to simply take his word during a battle situation.
"Suiton is my main element, and I am training to become a weapon master. I am as fast as I am agile, and a quick thinker as well. I never miss with a projectile weapon, and in that same fashion you may not even catch me withdrawing one until it's too late." Tossing something in his right hand to Katsuro, the young man would find that he was missing a kunai. Luo was of the fastest in his class in the academy before he graduated, and was probably one of the stealthiest genin in the village. Luo often found himself instead of being with the other children when they would go out, actually tailing them for hours on end for fun. He considered it training, and often times considered just how many times other genin failed to notice his presence.
There was only two other things about him they didn't know: One was that he had an excellent command over chakra control. It was something his father and mother taught him outside of the academy constantly. They told him how training your chakra is just like training your body. Just as stamina and chakra were connected, so was the physical body to the mental control over the force. Luo had grasped the concept rather young, being capable of using most any chakra control techniques such as water or wall walking without even exerting a drop extra. The other thing of course, was the secret of his Ranmaru eyes. However, his goggles deterred them from knowing the red flash would occur, and even without the goggles the doujutsu left no sign of existing in the eyes after the initial release.
Looking to the other two, Luo waited for an answer. Katsuro's element for now was Katon, but there was more to him Luo was sure. As for Orion, he knew pretty much nothing about him. Tajutsu // Suna Sp. Jounin // Seven Tailed Host After all the questions were asked, and Luo explained his ability's. well as much as he cared to share anyway. after spoke up and said. "Well if we run into any big trouble thats when I step in, this mission is more for you three, I am only along to make sure nothing happens. But, none the less, I am good at punching stuff and taking hits. Other than that I just doton to trap my enemy and well you know." After that last bit of Havik's explanation he made a gonking motion with his fist. "I will be trying to stay out of the fights if it can be helped. If something shows up you three can not handle, I will step in, or if the enemy slips past I will stop them from getting any cargo, but the mission mostly lies on your three's shoulders. I am just back up on this one." Havik let what he said linger for a couple of minutes before speaking again, this time he was meaning to answer questions about gear, and the mission. "We will be gone for three days, two of which will be use guarding the caravan to the village where other merchants will buy supply's, or pick up what ever they need, and it should only take one day to get back to Suna with out traveling with the caravan. Katsuro, I don't have access to the scroll you asked for, but there are a couple of things I can teach you while we are on mission, and when you get back the Desert Hag should be in town, ready to teach. So no worries there, for today get what you can done from your family jutsu. They seem plenty strong for what ever we might run into." After all his talking Havik though about Kaku, and how, and why he didn't tell the Genin he had it. Luo knew, up until recently Havik had been up front about it, but with the Bijuu attacking the villages... He just thought it best to keep them in the dark for now, there shouldn't be anything strong enough for that to be called forth, and he has pretty good over his self control.

Orion Ekisho Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin/Crystal ReleaseOrion nodded at Katsuro, Luo, and Havik's answers to his and Luo's questions, the mission seemed straightforward enough. "My skills lie in doton as well and I am skilled in the use of ninjutsu in general. I have more chakra than is the norm and I do not mean to sound conceited when I say I am quite intelligent. I am also skilled in chakra control and have the crystal release bloodline, though I do not yet know many jutsu concerning it." While Katsuro hadn't said what his skills were specifically, the fact that he had asked for a raiton and katon scroll, as well as one for the use of weapons, essentially said what he could do. Added with the fact that Havik mentioned him having a destructive bloodline and the large eruption of sand from earlier, and Orion knew the general information he required. All in all, even if Havik was going to try to stay out of any fights they got into, the team seemed like a good one with several areas of expertise covered. "Alright, now that we all know each other's strengths, there isn't much more we can do about getting ready for the mission today. I suggest we get in whatever training or gathering of supplies we can today." He looked over at Havik and added "If that's alright with you of course." Orion may have been suggesting things for their mission, but he knew Havik was the leader and would defer any final decisions to him. Stamina: 40|| Pain Level: 0 || Status: Healthy || "You can always choose your own actions...I wonder which scroll he meant he didn't access to, or did he mean he didn't have access to any?, Katsuro thought to himself after Havik's response, I suppose it doesn't much matter, like he said, I still have plenty of jutsu still to learn from my Father's scroll. But I wonder what he plans to teach me while we're away? Turning his gaze on Orion as he spoke, a small smile etched itself onto Katsuro's face at the other genin's mention of a larger than normal chakra supply. Even without the ability to sense the young man's chakra, Katsuro knew that it was dwarfed by his own."That sounds like as good a plan as any to me, I'll stay here and continue to learn as many of the techniques from this scroll as I can", Katsuro said after a moment before turning on his heel to put some distance between himself and the others. The last technique he had performed had made a crater, and he had no intention of putting the others at risk while he continued his training. After he had reached a distance he felt was safe, Katsuro reached inside of his trench coat to retrieve his Father's scroll.
Looking over the scroll, Katsuro quickly read through the next technique. Chakra Speed, a technique which allows the user to dramatically increase their speed for a short duration. So I guess I'll have to focus my chakra inward rather than outward as with the last technique... hopefully doing so will be less painful than I imagine it will be.Replacing the scroll inside of his trench coat, Katsuro closed his eyes as he began pool chakra into his legs. Where he had let his chakra engulf his arm earlier though, this time, Katsuro attempted to force his chakra to saturate his muscles. [1/3 Chakra Speed]
As his chakra soaked into his muscles, further enriching the already chakra infused cells, Katsuro could feel the power of his volatile chakra coursing through his system. The sensation was such a strange contrast to the constant pain that his chakra also caused. And yet, while he channeled his chakra in this manner, asserting a kind of dominance over it, it was as if the pain were more manageable, more bearable. It was an invigorating feeling, and as he opened his eyes, Katsuro couldn't help but smile at the feeling of power, a feeling he rarely experienced given that his chakra sometimes seemed to have more control over him than he did. Bending his legs at the knee, Katsuro could feel his muscles tensing in anticipation of using the pent up energy. [2/3]
Propelling himself forward, Katsuro would seem to disappear in a blast of sand, his speed rivaling that of all but the fastest Jounin. Kicking up a small explosion of sand with every step, the only real sign of his passing, Katsuro sped past his companions, his eyes alight with pure joy that feeling in control of his chakra brought. Closing in on the entrance to the training grounds, Katsuro launched himself into the air, performing several flips before landing in a crouch, facing the direction he had come from. Grinning from ear to ear, his chakra flecked eyes carrying an almost wild light to them, Katsuro kicked himself forward once again, flying across the desert sand back to his squad. Turning himself to the side, Katsuro skidded to a halt, throwing up a small wave of sand towards his companions. [3/3 Chakra Speed learned]"Hahaha, sorry about that, I got a little caught up in the moment. I was actually hoping you could help me to test my next technique, Havik-Senpai, you seem pretty strong, and there doesn't appear to be anything else around for me to test it on", Katsuro said, still grinning broadly as he spoke, the rush of power still giving him a sense of elation.... but you rarely get to choose the consequences." (Jutsu Name: Chakra Speed Jutsu Type: Konaga Augmentation (Bloodline, public) Jutsu Rank: D Jutsu Description: A more advanced form of augmentation, this techniques allows the user to turn their chakra inward, energizing their leg muscles to heightened levels. In this variant, the user floods their legs with their bloodline chakra, channeling it through their leg muscles to enervate and activate them to work beyond their normal capacity. This doubles the user's movement/running speed for a single post. (This technique is often paired with other augmentations, allowing the user to close in quickly and then deliver a second augmentation, creating a devastating combo) Stamina Cost: Requires 5 stamina to use. Luo Ushio Sunagakure - Weapon Master - Genin - Ranmaru Eyes Looking at Havik Luo muttered, "If I can't get them, do you think you could get the scrolls for the water shuriken technique as well as the water puddle technique? It would be greatly appreciated." Nodding, Luo turned on his heels and left promptly. It took a minute, but Luo felt something move past him towards the exit, and then once more towards him. However, as Luo saw the sand coming towards him, he activated his eyes to get a better look. As the image slowed down dramatically, he saw it to be Katsuro, and just as well he saw large fluctuations in his chakra as he saw it channeled downward towards his legs. This was of course excluding the oddity of the young man's chakra itself.
As he blew past at last, Luo put a hand over his mouth, watching sand pelt his goggles. Shaking his head to rid his hair of most of it, he continued onward and out. He needed to buy senbon among other things. Perhaps he could come back and simply find someone to train him before the day was done. Thinking on Katsuro's chakra eyes his eyes shut off he muttered, "Interesting."

Alone in the training grounds:Yuuki TamaraThe Desert Hag "Only one is needed." Said the old women as she created the seal. "As you hold the seal breath deeply and form your chakra while mixing it with your fire element." After a small demonstration of deeply inhaling, while holding the seal the women moved her hands back to the lightly pressed formation that she normally held. Ooc:take three, - what ever you class modifier is, so for you I think it needs one post.

Yuuki Tamara Sunagakure/Ninjutsu/Genin Yuuki watched intently and nodded once the old woman showed her the hand sign. She stood straight and took a deep breath, focusing. She formed the handsign and took a deep breath, focusing her chakra and fire element into her lungs. After a moment she exhaled, meaning to produce the small explosion but all that came out was a puff of soot and smoke. [1/2] Coughing, she shook the first try off and took a deep breath, calming herself down once more. She made the hand sign once again and inhaled deeply, focusing intently on mixing her fire element and chakra in her lungs. She then opened her mouth and exhaled, a small ball of fire, much like a small explosion erupting from it. Smiling she looked over at the old woman, ready for her next task.
