I didn't know anyone was coming in, it was just to pass the time.
Sorry, things just got really intense.))
[Lavenderrain padded up to the two toms.]
"I don't know. Can the Star Slayers be deceived that easily? I'm not sure it can be as easy as that." she murmured uncertainly.
"If everyone was to go with your plan.. Troutail was it? I'd be the first to volunteer." she mewed definitely.

I'm pretty sure they don't know very much about how things work in the clans. So it would likely work, of course we would need one cat from each clan. "I think...it'd be best if the deputies went. Especially newer ones that the Star Slayers don't know are deputy yet. Except for you, Galespirit, they already know you."
[Galespirit laughed, shaking his head.] "Even more the reason for me to be bait. They want me dead, remember?"
[Embergaze frowned.] "you really shouldn't..." he protested.
[Galespirit shook his head stubbornly, and Embergaze sighed.]
"Yes, well...who else then?"
[He blinked.]
"I'll probably be bait as well, since they really hate me for leading the Clans here..."

"I will go. I have eight lives, and I am the most wanted of the Slayers. If they want me, they're gonna have to catch me."
[Silverstar tipped her head in thought. Her eyes lit up.]
"Wait! If their life energy runs out, wouldn't they waste it on running too?" The light faded from her eyes. "I guess not. They're spirits, and they can pretty much float. Scratch that idea."
((Lightninstrike))
"I will remain here to guard the others, as my size and strengths are to my advantage. If that is okay, Mosstar."
((Silverstar))
[Silverstar dipped her head to the massive silver tom.]
"Very well, is there anyone else? Perhaps if we seperate them, we could weaken them. Let the strongest take the giant lion, and the swiftest take the cheetah." _________________________________________

“I'd volunteer to help with...Comet, I believe her name was, but I don't think the Slayers would want anything to do with me...”
[Hawkpaw's ears drooped. He wholehearedly wanted to help, but this job was, like Embergaze said, for the deputies. The tabbby tom padded on, eyes on the floor. Perhaps he'd think of something to do eventually...]___________________________

[Lavenderrain was nodding.
She'd hadn't said anything else.
She suddenly felt scared but not for herself.
For all the lives it might cost to get the remedy for their clans.
She swallowed dryly and looked at Silverstar and the others in turn too.]
"So when will we launch this attack? I mean, if we're going through with this plan.." she murmured shifting her weight uneasily.

[I puffed my chest out, my eyes lighting up.]
"I'll distract Comet!" I said proudly. "They don't like me after all."
[I glanced at Hawkpaw and lowered my voice.]
"What're you doing, silly? Just make them know you are a force to be reckoned with. This is your chance to prove yourself to Silverstar that you're ready for warriorship!"
My eyes flashed, and I said, "Just distract Comet with me...okay?"
Speaking louder, I said, "I'm sure having Hawkpaw with me would be beneficial. After all, I have my blind sides.
In regard to your question, Lavenderrain, we shall begin as soon as everyone knows what to do!"
[Thor chuckled behind Thunderpaw.]
"I'll keep watch and help if any of you are in danger," he said gruffly. "Perhaps the rest of the cats who aren't bait should try to snatch some of the remedy."

“But th Slayers want the Clan leaders, not us! I mean, you, maybe, but they won't give a mousetail about me! Besides, we might be needed to grab the remedy while the Slayers are distracted...And also, if anyone is ready for warriorship, it's you, Thunderpaw. I'm still moons behind...”
[Hawkpaw mewed with a soft hiss. He wasn't trying to sound weak, but simply analytical and rational. After all, they were going up against a deadly force. They couldn't just rush into it all...]___________________________

___________________________________________ [Silverstar's gaze rested on the apprentices. Her gaze raked Leopardpaw's long legs, Hawkpaw's lithe but strong body, and Thunderpaw's rippling muscles.]
"No, Thunderpaw. Leopardpaw shall help with Comet, and you and Hawkpaw should help with Ravage. I want Thor and the rest of the patrol to be prepared to fight. These apprentices came for a reason, let them help."
[Silverstar gazed warmly at the three apprentices, knowing each cat should have it's equal share. Of danger, or of glory, whatever the cause.]

[Leopardpaw's ears pricked at Silverstar's suggestion. She dipped her head, but glanced at lavenderrain, checking with the deputy, asking for consent. Her silver eyes grew eager, her paws were tingling with the thought of the giant cats they were about to face.]

"If you keep an attitude like that, you'll never really get anywhere," I said softly. "I know you can prove to the world that you are strong. I believe in you. Now go out there and prove the worth you already have!"
[I blinked warmly at him, encouragingly, then stood.]
"Shall we go then?" I asked, my eyes becoming hard, set with determination.
[There was a monster ahead of us. Who knew how many would die at the hands of it?]

“I'm...honored, Silverstar. I'll do my best.”
[The tabby tom nodded gratefully at Silverstar. His ears perking, he remembered the fierce lion that'd terrified the Clans at the last Gathering. His eyes grew cold with the drive to serve the Clans. They were only spirits, not their physical form, so he and the other cats couldn't sustain any real damage, right?
Nonetheless, Hawkpaw looked to Thunderpaw, silently acknowedging her words with a flick of his ears, before turning back to Silverstar for her cue.]
