((Heh heh, colorful post.))
"Who, X? No, no, we're good friends." The girl gave a yawn and stifled it with a hand. "Well, I agree with you on the figurehead part. That lot does nothing but complain and stuff their faces."
A few more moments passed before Raphael felt his gaze slip down to the hangar door. Then he spoke while moved to open it. "Maybe we should go in thare now...Your sis might be talkin' Willie's ear off."
Erick laughed and went to stand beside him, wondering for a few moments why it wasn't opening before remembering his friend was loaded with bags in his arms. He turned the knob before grabbing an apple from the top of the pile. "Ha, ha. Yeah, probably. Who's 'Willie'?"
"One o' mah new friends, if ye know what Ah mean." Raphael chuckled, shuffling slowly to set the bags on the table.
"Ah, ah! Put those in the kitchen so they don't spoil!" The red headed girl instructed Raphael, who shuffled over to the inner door instead, still laughing. "And you, what--" Erick looked away, suddenly sheepish and trying to disguise the apple he was eating when she stopped talking to stare accusingly at him. "I can't believe you, Erick! I was going to make a pie with that!" "But sis...There'sh plenty more in the bag..." "Not if you keep eating them!" "Shorry, shorry! Don't kill me!" Erick cried back, holding his arms in front of his face to block his sister's angry expression.

William stepped back, and admired his work. The machine was all but complete. He just had to recalibrate the controls, and fine tune it a bit to keep up with Xander. Just then, the man himself walked in with his friend. William noted with some amusement the apple in the friend's mouth despite the protests of his sister.
"Don't worry, I won't steal any apples. I've got manners, me!" he assured her. However, the moment her back was turned to him, he snatched one with the stealth that years of stealing had bought him. An insignificant betrayal, for an insignificant prize... William thought to himself as he took a bite. As the word "betrayal" flitted across his mostly blank mind, he felt a strange surge...of something. He didn't feel anything palpable, and he didn't immediately see or hear anything, but he was aware somehow that something moved within him. As he wracked his mind, trying to recall the sensation, like a fleeting fever dream, he saw Aishe standing along in a thicket, her Evil Eye glowing faintly. The glow suddenly was extinguished, and she gasped aloud as she looked right at him. He knew he was really seeing her, wherever she was. And the fear in her eyes was unmistakable. William felt unsettled that he had genuinely upset the stone-solid woman, even across such a distance. Then, the image and the strange pulsation were gone as quickly as they came. Miles away, Aishe collapsed on the spot, hyperventilating and tucking her long, flowing skirt under the soles of her feet, willingly breaking the connection in hopes of shaking the image of William. He saw me! How can that be?!

The bags made a dull thump as Raphael set them down on the counter of the relatively small kitchen. I hope you're enjoying your antics. The black haired man gave a halfhearted sigh and took off his spectacles to clean them with a towel. "That's about all Ah can do." The more you dally, the more--"The more anxious ye get." Raphael replied, bitterness unusually tinging his words. "Ah told ye, an' Ah'll tell ye again, these things take time. Who's the one doin' this?" I see no point to this puppeteer act. Raphael frowned, staring at the gray reflections of his eyes in the tinted glass. He always hated the reprimands from that voice. It made him feel insignificant. "That's because yer watchin', an' Ah'm not." He put the glasses back on, then stuck his head around the open door, ignoring the relentless stream running through his mind. "Erick, where'd ye leave Jay?"
"Jay, who?" Erick ducked under the table as his sister swung a tool at him, still ranting. "Oooh...That Jay. Behind the building, in the field. Why, you want to train?"
Raphael gave him a wolfish smile and nodded his head over in the direction of William. "Ah'm actually trainin' him, just want to show him how tae fight properly. Nearly upended himself last time! Plus it'll show him what some o' the Guards are capable of."
"Uh, sure. If he wants to watch." Erick replied, peeking over the table like a child looking for the cookie jar. "Better do it quick, I think Amy wants to readjust the chain on the star. Again."

"That would be a capital idea! I plan to fight more than a few Royal Guardsmen in the near future, and I would love to get a feel for combat with them," William said enthusiastically. "Just give me a few more hours, and I'll have Brazen Gundam battle-worthy."

"Aw, what is it this time, Miss Aishe?"
Zeke groaned as the mark on his hand glowed faintly and painfully.
"Me? Oh, nothing, really," she said nonchalantly. "Just...checking in. So...how's...it...going?" she mumbled lamely. Zeke cocked his head and raised an eyebrow.
"Awl-right, Ah reckon," he answered as the Walker continued to move beneath his seat. When Aishe communicated this way, Zeke saw a faint image of her before his left eye, and still saw the environment around her image. As if she were a shadow cast by some strange puppet behind his head. Aishe mentally cursed herself for sounding like a swooning young woman. She couldn't help it, though. She had never spent much one-on-one time with a man, due to the nomadic nature of her people, and the burden she bore as keeper of the Earth power. She shook her head visibly, not realizing that Zeke could see her.
"Well, what have you found?"

((I know Blue's charrie's sleeping and all, but did he get bored of this already?))

Erick blatantly ignored the first thing that William said. "A few hours? You can do that later!" He protested, stomping a foot down childishly and huffing.
"Oh dear, ye got yerself into it this time." Raphael snickered loudly, turning an innocent smile on Amy when she glared at him. "The Vineheld siblings are...a stubborn sort, tae say the least."
"Yeah, c'mon! It'll be worth it! I think..." Erick said, muttering the last part under his breath uncertainly. "Atleast before Amy gets to changing the setup on the weapons on me again."
"Well, I'm sorry that you keep spinning it out of place! The chain's heavy enough without you swinging it around like some kind of maniac!"

((Probably kinda. He's not a "story" kinda guy. He just likes writing about action sequences. Hang on, lemme light a fire under his butt. *strikes match and points angrily to keyboard* ))

((Also, thinly-veiled allegory warning! lol Don't take it too seriously smile )

William raised an eyebrow as the three bickered. Since it was no longer conducive for his mind to remain blank, he allowed it to run freely while the reactor powered up. He was mulling over ideas, in regards to the first steps to toppling the order of things around the Empire. He thought on the mindless manner in which people bowed for the totalitarian monarch of the day: Minister Maximilian Cromwell. They never questioned him...all he had to do was flash his smile, speak clearly, and promise the people that things would soon be better. His chant of "Yes, we can hope to change the Empire," made men and women alike swoon and sign over their lives to him, all while he rolled in piles of their stolen coin. William knew that, if Cromwell were to die, the court would flounder and weaken the entire regime, as they had no interest or experience in the running of the country at all. Cromwell's advisers did everything for him and his useless court. ((Well, what can we do? He was kinda reluctant to join at first when I sent him the invite. Maybe he'll be back soon.))

((Lolwut? neutral *confused* Ah, hopefully he will. His randomness was pretty interesting.))

"If you want to fight without me recalibrating it, then go ahead!"
"Fine then, I will!" Erick exclaimed, marching past his sister and taking Raphael by the arm, not bothering to wait for him to turn around. So they ended up with one pulling, and the other walking backwards. He was determined not to make a fool of himself this time, like when the spiked ball flew off onto the roof.
"Try to beat some sense into that idiot's head for me, will you?"
"Ah'll try." Raphael called back to her playfully. When the pair stood outside, he untangled his arm from Erick's iron grip, telling him that if they were going to train, he'd need Fatum. He noticed after he came back around the farthest corner, his friend was swinging his Walker's enormous morning star weapon experimentally, muttering to himself about the length and balance of the ball. It easily upset the weight difference of the Jay, being nearly as heavy as the whole machine.

William frowned as he considered the massive weapon.
"Gotta be hard to master a thing like that," he mumbled to himself. He wandered out into the makeshift battlefield, noting the scars caused by the trio's skirmishes. If Erick could make this massive weapon work effectively, then William might just commission him and his sister to arm Brazen.

"Nuthin' much, just yet. But I'm gettin' closer. What're you doing?"
Zeke replied, staring into Aishe's hazy image.
"Well, I was just walking through the woods outside of Essex, and I was thinking about picking up my guitar this evening. Then I--"
"I meant about Willie." Aishe blushed, and cleared her throat.
"Oh. That. Well, I saw him...and he saw me, somehow. I think he must have accidentally let out a little of his power. But I am unable to locate him precisely."
"You feelin' okay, Miss Aishe? Yer actin' mighty strange."
"What, so I can't call just to talk?! Maybe I was just bored, or even lonely! Maybe you're the closest thing I've ever had to a friend...." She trailed off, feeling embarrassment grip her. She knew she was overreacting. But she didn't seem to be able to stop herself.
"I'm hanging up now. I'll talk to you later, I guess!" she huffed, pulling the band of scarlet cloth over her Eye. With her image gone, Zeke let out a low whistle.
"Women shore are a strange breed," he mused to no one in particular.

"You may want to stand back a little farther than that..." Amy noted wryly to William, not really wanting someone to getting themselves killed. She'd come out to watch, and take notes of the performances of both machines. It was her hobby.
"Yer gettin' more of a handle on that thing everytime Ah see ye, huh?" Raphael remarked, gauging the length of his own church spire weapon against the morning star's reach.
"A little, not much. Hope it doesn't fly off again..." Erick nodded to himself in satisfaction, then began to swing the ball around differently, with purpose.
Raphael winced a little at the low hum it produced, bringing his spire to bear like a spear. "Ach, 'least it'll stop that darned sound."
Erick laughed. "I swear, you've got ears like a dog." Then he released the pressure on the part of the chain closest to the handle, flinging the spiked ball expertly at his opponent.
Raphael dodged to the side, sticking out the spire enough for the ball to pass harmlessly by him and the chain to swing around the iron pole when Erick began to retrieve it. "Heard that one before."

"Did you contribute to the design of that monstrosity, by any chance?" William asked of Amy. Before she could answer, a chunk of armor sailed across the sky, and landed mere meters from where William stood. He jumped as if he'd been burned, and hoped that his movement didn't look too much like that of a frightened schoolgirl. He composed himself, and obediently took more than several steps back from where he had been. The titanic clash of armor and weapon was enthralling. Already, William's mind was frought with ideas and images of mechanisms and physics. He was intrigued and inspired by the heavy weaponry.

((man i need to check in on this rp more often sry for the big pause on my character.))

Leon could hear them in the shop testing out their Gundam then he thought 'Dang, they already fixed his Gundam, their mechanic must be a superb one.' Leon then turned around and saw a wanted poster of him then grinned thinking 'Hehe now if they see this maybe they will seek me out to recruit me into their little rebel band.' Thinking that he should hang out where most riffraff hang out Leon decided to go to the town pub and spread word to the lowlifes that he was in town hoping that Raphael and his crew would hear of his appearance in town.

((You're improving, Blue! I guess Ty and I are rubbin' off on ya...in a totally non-gross way. lmao You just need to remember two things: When you finish a thought, with a definite subject and action/description, end the thought with a period. You use commas a bit too much. Also, try out "he laughed quietly under his breath" or something similar instead of "hehe." It'll make the post flow a bit better. But other than that, your sentence structure is great, and your spelling's been perfect. Keep up the good work, and you might one day be as good as I am! mrgreen lol))

((Nah, it be okays. Just roasting some marshmellows...Lol...At Silas: That's what she said...Gotcha!))

Amy didn't move an inch, chuckling under her breath lowly. She actually inched forward a little bit to check which machine it had come off of. "The main design was my brother's, but I did the main mechanics on it. His first model broke and sent the ball into the side of the hangar."
The arms of both the Fatum and Jay creaked and groaned while the two grappled. Raphael had managed to pull Erick ever closer to him, though he was fighting back fiercely. "Maybe we shouldn't push these things too far..."
"Nah, we've gone farther before." Erick called back, distracting his friend with a poorly aimed punch so that he could recover his star. "Remember?" He strafed a little backward, swinging it again.
"Oh, aye. Practically threw that arm after me." Raphael did a quick check on the overall status of the Fatum.
"Hey!" Erick launched the ball at Raphael again, only to swear loudly when the taut chain snapped halfway. "Oh sh--! Catch!"
Raphael switched the spire to the Fatum's left hand, sticking the right up in the air to grab at the deadly flying projectile. He turned as he did so, using the momentum to twist around and toss it back. The ball landed with a crash a foot away from Erick, with something odd impaled on the spikes. Raphael glanced at the right arm, seeing the hand was missing. "Ah, holy merciful--Cripes!"
