"Y-yes," Angela said. "That is likely a good idea. Not that I really have all that much anyway. Most of my things are at my father's place and I don't really want those anyway." She looked down and grimaced. "It's mostly more dresses like this one and such."
"I don't think I need them." She paused and looked up at him. "I don't do I?" Because that would be annoying...
**
"Well that explains where I am," Christine said, looking around. A hub? There were several places she knew of like that but this one was different, eh? Interesting.
"But it doesn't tell me who you are. Lord of the Multi-verse or something?" That would be a rather fancy title. "But I do really want to know, yes. Unless you'd rather not say. I won't be mad or anything."

"Nah I don't think you'll need them, I've got plenty for you in the castle." Zen realized he shouldn't have said that either. Zen poofed them into the area around her ship, He wasn't really sure what he was looking for and let her lead the way. "I could get my nephew to repair your airship later... I think it's his hobby or something."
--
"Of course I'll say! It's just a long story so I can't really shorten things." Aetra had to stop and sort out a collapsed section for a few minutes while talking. "Enkelion is the same as your... multi-verse? About a few eternities ago, or maybe a dozen... We had annoying gods constantly trying to balance their powers and people and civilizations and the works like yours. There were gods who could control a whole dimension and function of creation just like yours do, and one of them ended up dominant after struggling to save the world and the usual nonsense."
Aetra fixed the stair well and continued on down. "She was overly fond of people and had a son she taught as her apprentice. All immortals and Powers must have someone to take their place you know, since balance is annoying like that and they tend to kill each other a lot. Well, Aylkashal, that was her name..."
Aetra stopped, more or less remembering as he went along. "She had half of Enkelion pissed at her, but she was too strong to take directly... So one of the gods killed her son by tearing his mind asunder like you saw me do to that demon tower guy..."

Angela glanced at Zen but decided to let that remark slide. "My...ah...cabin is this way," she said heading toward the ship. "And there is absolutely no way in hell I am letting Asaiyo near my ship. Ever. He seems more like the sort to break things than fix them."
"I'll make repairs myself."
**
"Right, right," Christine said following Aetra down the stairs. "So she had a son but he was murdered rather horribly by a jealous, pissed off idiot."
"Sounds...painful really. What happened next? Did this Aylkashal wail on some jealous idiots?"

"He is good at breaking things too, usually on accident when getting angry." Zen followed along, today was turning out to be quite interesting. "I guess we can go fetch anything you need, I'll need to go grocery shopping too. Lets move your stuff, then we can go shopping!" --
"She did. Like all immortals who aren't purely selfish, she had the irrational fear of being alone. Aylkashal went through the natural processes of the universe to find where the pieces of her son were being recycled and she decimated the Powers who oversaw and were meant to prevent such intervention. It's impossible to just restore a soul that broken, especially of an immortal which needs a gigantic one." Aetra was almost at his destination. A flowing design of a seal blockaded their path, but he bent it out of the way in order to pass. "So she shattered a bunch of gods' minds and fused them onto her son in attempt to repair him. It wasn't enough to work, so he made a deal with the Power that killed him. Aylkashal had killed his body and was tormenting him endlessly in a hell she made for him, but he was the only one capable of helping since he was the god of purity and life and rainbows and that kind of thing... the Creator I guess you could say. "
Aetra bent another seal in their path.
"She'd let him go if he fused to her son. He agreed, and Corrith... yes that was the kid's name...was revived. That's not the end of course... Now you know why I'm usually too lazy to tell this story." Aetra had to admit, even though he was remembering everything about himself, even he didn't know who he was a person--going by mortal philosophy. That didn't really bother him though, girlfriends seemed to solve that.

"Odd," Angela said. "Usually when I'm angry, I break things on purpose." She gave him a slightly amused look. "You have to go grocery shoppin---gah!" She very nearly twisted her ankle just then. Bloody shoes.
Bracing against the side of the ship, she leaned down and unbuttoned them before pulling them off. Ah...much better. Those things were damned uncomfortable. "Alright then." She glanced back at Zen. "Do you think it's possible for you to get us up there because the cargo bay isn't open and I can't climb in this dress."
**
Christine tagged along after Aetra, listening closely. "So...you're going to tell me now that you're Corrith, right?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "And that you were pieced together from Aylkashal's son, a plethora of gods and this creator guy?"
"Funny...I was pieced together from different sources too..."

Zen poofed them on the deck, he figured he ought to show her how to poof once they brought her stuff inside. Poofing was pretty useful. "I've got some good shoes I can take you to try on later, they have soles that make you jump higher and run faster." He stood around on the deck, not wanting to break something by accident.
--
"You were? Really? It'll be your turn for lengthy speeches then..." Atra motioned that they were almost there. "Yes, that is me, kind of.... back when I was a teenager. The shock of coming back to life is bad enough, then having the person who killed you in your head along with a bunch of others is enough to change a guy. My mother had wrecked most of Enkelion, it was nearing a collapse."
They reached a seal the size of a two story building that was infront of a pair of chained and bolted doors with every lock and defense mechanism that could be thought of.
"More than half of me was the Creator, I knew what a psychotic b***h Aylkashal was. I sealed her, and the remaining pieces of all the other immortals in the very hell she made. I fixed my damn universe the way I wanted it. After that... well the stars burnt out, the people died and everything slowed after the eons went by until I was the only one left... so I left too and drifted along in your Multi-verse thing... then I met you." Aetra eyed the huge door, the feeling of hate burned in him for the first time he could remember. "She's probably still in there, serves her right... So it's your turn for story time."

"This way," Angela said, taking his hand. She led him below deck. "My cabin is down here." She laughed slightly and gave him a teasing grin. "Technically I can fly and teleport short distances. I wonder if shoes like that would actually be helpful for me."
After getting down the stairs, she turned down a narrow corridor that led to the cabins. Hers was the last on the hall. She opened the door and stepped inside, turning on the lamps. It was a smallish room with a narrow bed and only a few decorations. She rummaged beneath her bed for a bag she could put her clothes in. Aside from that, she only had a few gifts from her father that she really wanted to take with her.
And her guns.
**
Christine chewed the inside of her cheek for a minute. She really...wasn't that great at the whole comforting people. His story was kind of sad though. After pondering what to do for a moment, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down to her level for a long kiss.
"My story is much more boring," she assured him. "But thank you for telling me that." She was silent a moment before she said, "I suppose that in my own way, I was just drifting along until I met you as well."

"Really? I want to see, but why do you need a ship then?" Zen wondered and followed along like a kid. It was probably the same reason why he still had bouncy shoes. She really liked guns, he watched her pack.
--
"Two of a kind we are. So what's up with your sister? You're both immortals?" Atra finished some enjoyable snogging in front of his mother's grave. He had Christine in his arms and it was enough to replace his hate for the time being.

"Because it's generally not considered normal to sprout wings and fly around," Angela said. "Not to mention the experience is different. She glanced over her shoulder at him. "And what the hell sort of pirate would I be if I ran around glowing and sprouting wings all the time?"
"It's bad enough being half Impyrean fae without having to look it all the time." Thank God for faerie glamour.
She finished shoving her clothes into her bag and forcibly zipped it up. Stooping to pick up the wooden box with her guns and another with her knives and sword, she chewed her lip. "Ah...I was wondering. What made you ask me to join you here?"
**
"Something like that," Christine said, her expression growing dark. "Angela is...more complete than I. Pieced together better--using better techniques. She's part of mother and some Power or other."
"I'm part of mother, part of father, part of that same Power, part of 1. And part of Angela now--after Father tried to improve me." That's what bothered her really. Even though Angela failed at everything and even though Christine excelled, somehow Angela was better than her--Angela was the one that succeeded while Christine was just another failed experiment.
It made her so....angry.

Zen let her win that comment, yes that's why he needed his shoes. He wondered about her dislike for part of herself though, it seemed to remind him of something.
"Well, I do need some help around here and there's not that many qualified people I can trust to begin with, not to mention most of them already have their own place to reside over. But mostly, I get a bit lonely. Everyone has their own thing to do in times of peace, and I'm left here by myself usually." He felt like he was whining, but it was the truth.
--
"I see. Well, if you know how to complete yourself we can probably achieve it." Atra disliked the door and wasn't sure he wanted to walk up all the stairs so he poofed them to the surface of the castle. "I can think of a few things to try."

"I see. I'm honestly not sure if I should be flattered or if I should just pity you that of all the people out there, I'm the best one to keep you company," Angela teased. She shouldered her bag and picked up her two wooden cases. "Well this is all for now I think."
She smiled slightly. "You think you'll be less lonely with me to keep you company?"
**
"I don't know how," Christine said. "Father was very particular about ensuring we didn't know a thing about alchemy. Though I suppose if I don't want my body to eventually....melt, disintegrate or whatever it is that it's eventually going to do, I should figure out a way to stabilize things."
She smirked slightly. "In the mean time, I can think of a things I'd like to try too. But none of them involve completing myself per se...."

Zen felt weird being the guy and not carrying anything, but he teleported them into a lit building with fancy rugs and spiffy wooded doors enlayed with symbols. They were on a higher floor. "I think loneliness will be gone if you stick around with me."
He smiled and went to opening a bunch of doors around the hall. There was a bunch of red everywhere. "That one's my room." He pointed to the double doors in the middle of the landing. "That one's the one Asaiyo uses." Zen gestured to the one behind Angela.
"There's about three more on this floor you can pick from. They'll have their own bathrooms, wardrobes, studies, beds... almost everything but a kitchen."
--
"Well there's not a thing I would fix about your body, but after that shower keeping you from melting seems like a good idea. Especially since it seems we'll be heating up." Atra put an arm around Christine and brought them back to the bath which finally filled up.

"Well," Angela said. "Perhaps I should choose the one closest to you." She flushed. "Ah...there's not really much point in being here to keep you company if our rooms are several miles apart."
She looked around. "Have you ever considered getting...a cat?"
**
Christine chuckled. Ah...she liked this guy. He could match her wit and was all powerful and sort of the Lord of this corner of the multiverse or wherever they were. It was nice.
"Saying of which, I just realize I don't have a change of clothes. What a pity."

"It's weird, but in Kall you can connect with me where ever we are. Just focus on the desire to reach me There's a whole lot of magic and energy around us here so it'll be easy."
Zen opened the room next to his door it lead into a common room, with an adjacent super closet hallway and a bed room deep in it's back. "Make yourself at home! Um, I think a cat would get lost in here. Closest I ever had to a pet was the Spirits." Zen shrugged, "but if you want a cat we can go get one?"
--
"Clothes are annoying, you don't need them but I'm sure there's some extras lying around here like us. We can always go shopping while thinking of a solution to melting." How to fix his girlfriend from melting was bugging him. Making a disposable body for himself wasn't that hard... someone else on the other hand... from an entire other universe who had unstable power to begin with.... that'd take some work. He hated the idea of needing Zensekai's or one of the hippie club's help, but it'd be their power he'd need.

"Well as long as it doesn't get shut somewhere it can't get out, it won't get lost. They've got rather keen senses," Angela said, dropping her bags near a sofa. Honestly this dress was not very convenient for lugging bags around. The train was starting to get really irritating.
"So...what do we...um....do now?" She glanced down. "I don't have to dress like this all the time do I? I know you always dress rather fancy but honestly I don't really think it suits me and it's not especially comfortable...."
**
"Hmm...." Christine said. "That is true but then they're always good for protecting sensitive bits. Plus people stare at the tattoos, which is always a bit annoying."
"But for now, I'm assuming I can just strip and hop in?"
