a poem..
The hospital room crowded with family
was quiet as can be
the little girl lay there
still as a tree
A small whisper broke the silence
"mommy", the little girl said
"i can hear the angels sing"
she lay, lifeless on the bed
Her eyes slowly closing
The family knew what was happening
tears began to shed
Her mother could not take it
out of the room she fled
As the girl took her last breath
A sudden wave of happiness filled the room
the girl opened her eyes and looked around
it was not time for her to meet her doom
She lifted her head and cried so softly
a voice, everyone could hear
a small, but oh so powerful one
" you have nothing to fear"
They all knew who it was
They looked out of the window, above and beyond
They looked to the heavens
Where they knew the savior of their daughter was
