Emily was standing there when she felt a pain in her chest, a pain that was getting unbearable. She coughed uncontrollably, her chest begining to discolor. She fell to her knees, blood begining to stream out of her mouth. "E-E-Eric. I know it's you somehow. Tell it to stop. Whatever it is, tell it to stop...". Emily's vision began to go red, small streams of blood ozzing from her eyes. She collapsed onto her side, the coughing becoming even worse.

Emily heard a voice, a soft yet angry voice. As she looked up she didn't see anything, but she heard a voice come from there. She propped herself on her right elbow, drenching herself in her own blood. "Wait. Don't go. Who.....who... are you???". Emily didn't belive in the supernatural, yet all the evidence of the last twenty minutes was pointing to a supernatural phenomenon. Her coughing began to subside, but the pain was still there. She tried to push through the haze fogging her mind, clearing the way for rational thought.

((Eh? Now I'm confuzzled))

((It's okay Silence. I've called my characters in a roleplay a name from a different one plenty of times.))

Rubbing his bruised knuckles, Eric relaxed minutely when Amy came near, trying not to let her worry. Then he saw her start to glow. Eyes widening, he reached out to try and grab her shoulder, without thinking. It was a comforting action he'd done many times before. However this time, his hand just slid through giving him a horrid mixture of icy death and burning anger. Jerking it back quickly, he let Amy respond. Turning to Emily he elaborated, "She's you know, d-a ghost. That's what your quirky glasses seem to be picking up." He felt weird telling someone he even believed in ghosts, but it was hard not to, when he wanted his sister near and this was the only way.

Eric sighed softly, "You're new to this Ams, it's okay. You'll learn. It's just like when you started driving. Remember how bad you were?" It was something he teased her about often earlier. She'd swerved to miss a random dog and ended up driving on the sidewalk. "Now you're a better driver than I am."

((I just made that up. If it's not okay, then describe something else. And I like your possible new haircut, Silence. It's really pretty.))

Eric sighed. Why couldn't things go back to normal. He used to be able to make anyone laugh, but now he felt as if he was fighting to cry constantly: he had that burning pressure behind his eyes even now. Glancing at Emily, "Are you okay from this distance, Em?" (Nicknames were something Eric thrived on. Admittedly, in his mind she was Goggle Girl, but Em just seemed nicer.)

Emily's smile started to fade, the warm feelings pushed aside to a later date. She looked at the void where, what she assumed to be, Amy's voice was coming from. She calculated the time she would have before her body started having negative affects and calculated the risks that would come into play if she 'touched' Amy. Looking at the empty space, she lunged into it, her vision going white as she lost conciousness.

((P.S: Thanks for taking over Emily while I was gone. I would've hated it if I caused a big delay in the story))

((She's conducting an experiment. Th fact that she can't see Amy is very frustrating to her. It defies logic, so she's seeing that occupying the same space it will allow her to see Amy or not))
