[Sukina: Forest of Magic]
...And with that tree, and the new, sharp headache/head trauma, Sukina realized something. This 'free ride' was going to be filled with lots, and lots, and lots, and LOTS of pain...

[Momiji : Forrest of Magic]
Momiji was running toe to toe with Kyouko, listening to her to speak. She was barely paying attention when next thing she knew she had to jump to the side to dodge a tree that Kyouko ran through. Momiji stood there for a few moments and stared at the fallen tree.
"Wow!!!" she almost shouted as her tail wagged with excitement and took off to catch up with Kyouko and Sukina, "You are amazing! You are human, yet you ran through the tree. That is so cool!"

[Misheru :: Forest of Magic (Outside Alice's House)->Scarlet Devil Mansion]
 Misheru was pleased with the cat youki's reaction to the tail nipping but was soon bored when she didn't try and find her attacker. Watching the group, and ease droping from the tree, she decided this was a very amusing group of youki she had chanced upon. When they began mentioning home her ears perked up and she moved out onto an extending branch. What was this about missing humans? Was that why Sakuya hadn't been in the kitchen? It was extremly unlikely she decided, that anything so drastic had happened, though it would be quite the curiosity if it had. Remilia-Sama would not be happy if Sakuya went missing. She shuddered at the thought of how the sisters would respond to news like that.
They seemed settled on going to the mansion to talk to Remilia-Sama, she didn't think that was the wisest idea but they didn't ask her. When they took off runing she lopped and dashed along staying to the side edges of the group instead of running with them. The loud crash of two youki going straight throuh a tree rather then around it made her come to a complete stop again. Moving into plain view for the first time she stared openly at the two oddities, one was visually human plus a horn and the other was covered in a moving plant that Misheru was very tempted to pounce on.
Cocking her head to the side she made a half laugh/half questioning, "Yipp?!"

[Sakuya || Human Scarlet Devil Mansion]
Sakuya inclined her head ever so slightly and smiled as her mistress spoke. They were walking now, through the mansion's massive hallways that most normal people would probably get lost in but it was Remilia-Sama's household and Sakuya was the chief maid.
"A note sounds like a wonderful idea Remilia-Sama, maybe with a little air of urgency to spur them into thinking the worst."

[Chiyo :: Hakurei Shrine]
The silver wolf landed not to far away as the hailstorm of chilly, shape projectiles died down. Chiyo tilted her head to the left, before slowly tilting it to the right with one of those typical animal looks that portrayed confusion. Though the only reason the poor wolf was confused was that she couldn't quite talk when she was a wolf. She morph back effortlessly on the spot, still clad in her icy-blue kimono and gave Reimu a big smile.
"Yup! I can make up to five orbs now though my parents are quite capable of summoning twenty! It's some feat!"

[Reimu :: Hakurei Shrine]
Reimu nodded sagely as Chiyo spoke. "You parents, huh? I guess that makes you the youkai daughter of two youkai wolves. A pure blooded youkai. . . " Parents and lineage. Reimu wondered briefly if they had been as much of a burden and an honor for Chiyo as they had for her.
"So," Reimu said, floating up next to the wolf, "Are you the dutiful daughter of a long tradition?" She was no longer smiling, but she didn't seem angry or hostile at all. Her expression was ambiguously bemused.

[Remilia :: Scarlet Devil Mansion]
Remilia procured writing supplies. For a while she sat, alternating between grinning and looking pensive, as she penned out a suitable note. When she had finished, the product of her labors read:
"Kyouko - I heard from Sakuya that you were coming to my mansion so I'm writing this in hopes that you'll find it. You were right. A shadowy, evil youkai is after the humans of Gensokyo, and now is storming my mansion to try to get to Sakuya. We're barricaded in the throne room right now, but we can only hold out so long. Please"
At this point, the writing was cut off. It resumed a while further down the page, with noticeably different handwriting:
"KYOUKO: IF IT IS THY DESIRE TO SEE THY FRIENDS OR THE HUMANS WHICH ALL I STOLE AWAY, MEET ME IN THAT DARK PLACE WHENCETO LONG AGO ABSCONDED THY KIND, O HORNED ONE. DESTINY AWAITS IN THE UNDERGROUND. I AM WATCHING."
Remilia proudly proffered her work to Sakuya, grinning childishly. "Think this'll do?"

[Chiyo :: Hakurei Shrine]
Chiyo shrugged lightly, more so staring at the ground than at the priestess. Dutiful daughter... that would be why she was here rather than back home rolling in the cool snow and chasing rabbits.
"I suppose so. They charged me with the duty of fixing our mountain since the snow is slowly receding," Chiyo responded, her blue gaze drifting from the ground to the area where she thought Mt. Hokkaido to be.

[Sakuya || Human Scarlet Devil Mansion]
Sakuya allowed a smile as Remilia-Sama was entirely engrossed in her task. The maid read te note as the Vampire conntinued to write on the paper and somewhere in Sakuya's mind, she had the idea of overturning furniture and spilling tea to further the scene. But tea was sacred, it would be a waste.
The Chief Maid smiled as Remilia-Sama handed her the paper, she briefly nodded before adding, "I think it's perfect, should we overturn some furniture?"

[Remilia :: Scarlet Devil Mansion -> Throne Room -> Basement]
Remilia shrugged. "I suppose it would add to the effect. But, carefully! We lose enough furniture to Flan. I don't want anything broken. I'll leave you to that, then. I'm gonna take this note to the throne room!"
Arriving in the throne room, Remilia was struck by a sudden impulse. Taking out a knife, she cut her arm just a little, bleeding on the floor. She was careful to cover a wide area so it looked like an impressive blood splatter upon first glance. If she was right, a first glance would be all it would take to fool Kyouko. Satisfied that she had now produced a reasonable facsimile of a fight scene, Remilia daintily propped the letter up on one of the armrests of her throne, which she pointedly did not topple. Then, still grinning, she made for the basement.
The basement of the Scarlet Devil Mansion was a good place to hide things. It was hard even to find if you didn't know what to look for, and labyrinthine in its construction. It's dark down there, and every now and then the silence is broken by echoing laughter or a shattering crash. Here and again one wandering its halls will find the broken remains of some toy or another Sakuya had yet to clean - a reminder of who it was that made this area her domicile. Even those who do manage to find the basement seldom have the nerve to stay for long.
At the moment, however, the basement was quiet. The game Flan was engaged in, at her sister's suggestion, was hiding, so no echoing laughter or odd crash came. Remilia had a pretty good idea of her sister's location: she was probably in her favorite hiding spot. With the guile of a master predator, Remilia descended noiselessly upon her precious younger sister.

[Reimu :: Hakurei Shrine]
"Oh!", Reimu exclaimed. "I've heard of that. Global Warming, right? I heard that the outside world was getting hotter." A few years ago, Rinnosuke had obtained a book from the outside world that contained information to that effect. Apparently, it was the cause of some distress, but neither Marisa nor Rinnosuke could think of anything bad about a warming globe. For her part, though, Reimu thought that she would miss harsh winters spent drinking hot tea or bathing in the onsen.
"You'll probably want to leave Gensokyo, then, won't you . . . " Reimu's voice had a wistful element to it that surprised even her. "Well," she said, "that could be tough. It's one thing for humans, but youkai belong on this side of the barrier. I know someone that could probably help you, but," she paused, "she might not be willing. She's a weird one. And hard to find, unless she wants you to find her."

[Flandre :: SDM :: Basement]
Flan was playing with her toys in her hiding spot, a corner of the basement completely in the dark. Then her sister leapt on her, and Flan jumped a little, before realizing who it was. "Aneue!" she whispered. "How long is the game gonna be?" she asked excitedly after that.

[Sakuya || Human Scarlet Devil Mansion]
"Of course Remilia-Sama," Sakuya replied with a small inclination of her head. She would reunite with her mistress after she was done scouring the mansion which was easy for the maid to do. By the entry way, Sakuya carefully placed some furniture overturned on the floor as if it were strewn haphazardly about. It had a defining path, but with a few misplacements so tat it didn't appear scripted at all. Though it wouldn't take much to fool Kyouko. After finishing with whole mansion, with help from her time stop, Sakuya headed down to the basement.
"It is ready Remilia-Sama, Flandre-Sama," Sakuya said from the doorway.

[Kyouko :: Forest of Magic -> Misty Lake -> SDM :: Gate]
It was not long before Kyouko and the others reached the mansion gates, as Kyouko had been very excited to come see what was up, and if that vampire knew anything. "Alright guys! We're here! Let's go see what she knows!" she said, walking towards the gate.

[Chiyo :: Hakurei Shrine]
"Global Warming? That sounds like something bad..." Chiyo pondered before going silent as she twisted the hem of her yukata. She didn't know whether she wanted to leave Gensokyo, Reimu was a really nice person and the way she described the world seemed much more suitable than living in hiding as her entire clan did.
"I'm not... sure. I don't want to leave my clan behind, and we need the snow to survive," Chiyo responded, her sentence drifting off, not knowing how to respond to the priestess but her ears automatically perked at th mention of help. "Really? Who is she? She knows how to fix an entire mountain?"
