Emy-Lou-chan Last year, we did a show called Power and Grace which was a show that combined Stravinsky's Firebird and Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake. Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful show. Hands down, my favorite. We did Power and Grace (renamed Fire and Ice) two years ago. Decent show in my opinion. Heck, I still have the music memorized, especially the third part. Anyways, our show for this year is Le Carnaval de Animaux by Saint-Saens/arranged by Frank Sullivan. The show includes the Lions, Aquarium, Swan, Fossils, and Finale. A few random facts: show had part 5 written in C with a Bb key signature, our director's favorite show that he's done, my least favorite show of the last four years, and the only one of the four to use props (more like extra guard than actual props). Also, it's "the most physical show we've done" according to the directors. There's even a collision on the animated drill...can't wait to see how that turns out. http://www.inspiremusic.com/shows/Carnaval.html

Our first show of the season is The Killers. I wasn't too excited for it until I saw the drill which is crazy and awesome. Our pregame show this season is really good too :p chaudblaze Anyways, our show for this year is Le Carnaval de Animaux by Saint-Saens/arranged by Frank Sullivan. The show includes the Lions, Aquarium, Swan, Fossils, and Finale. A few random facts: only show through my four years that our director didn't edit at all, his favorite show that he's done, my least favorite show of the last four years, and the only one of the four to use props. Also, it's "the most physical show we've done" according to the directors. There's even a collision on the animated drill...can't wait to see how that turns out. http://www.inspiremusic.com/shows/Carnaval.htmlThe recording's intro is different from (and longer than) the actual music, though. omg awesome. Aquarium is my favorite, I'd really like to see that... ravenkitty776 "Tɧe țϊɱe ʜas ɔɵмe," ҭhє ωᾱℓɹʉs sɑȉδ, "Ⱦѻ ʇᾀʟҝ oʄ мαnץ ʈɦɪйɕs. θϝ sнȏҽs & șɥῐῤs & ȼєɨɩiɲɢ ϖaж ----------------------------------------------------- We're just doing a variety of stuff. Hey, we've done Disney and video games before. What songs will you be doing for those? All your shows sound really cool.

We're doing a James Bond theme. Usually we write all of our own shows, but since we have a new BD, we didn't this year.

By writing your own shows, you mean you do the charting and music arranging yourselves? Our shows have always been student-charted, but lately we're doing student-arranged shows too, presumably cause we ran out of money to pay arrangers. xD

 Winter.
With music written by our band director.
It's actually not that bad.
We have two movements done already and we began marching in the middle of August. I believe there are three or four movements this year.
