So he was welcome. What an honor. At least, to others. Again, he felt sure Hosvanji would be proud. Then he thought of how misconceptual Lady Takara had been. A man? No, a God. A high deity. So she still didn't quite get it, but he hadn't exactly said so. He just figured the several hints dropped of blessings and fulfilling his deathwish would have made it pretty obvious. Then he stopped. How often did one hear of a God dieing? He shrugged and let it go. The night would be long, and he had a little work to do. He looked down at his clothing to see that already, the blood was fading. No, staining.

He sighed and left to find a nice pond to wash them in. He washed them the best he could, then put them back on still damp in the night air. Then night slowly passed, and the sun rose to find Cedric standing on the parapets of the Trusar castle, looking down on the cozy city. At least, it looked that way as the people slept. He knew it wouldn't so friendly when the town came to life. "Another day, and one step closer to fulfillment." As he spoke, Kirra reappeared at his side, brushing up against him. He reached out his right hand to run his fingers around her hair, mostly behind the ears.

It seemed to Shin that they had walked forever. 'How long does this hallway go anyways?' Shin asked in his head. He wincked when he got a reply."About 100 miles."Shin looked at the elfs to see if it was one of them that had spoken. No luck. Shin thought for a moment and then asked in his head once again, 'How far do we still have to go?'. For a few minutes Shin didn't think he would get and answer, but sure enough he did."25 miles more."Shin decided that he was finally hearing vioces. Helpful vioces at that. He thought it would be worse then this. Strangely enough he didn't feel threatened or uncomfertable with the vioce. 'So who are you? Or are you just a vioce in my head?'"I'm just a vioce in your head. Anyways, when you get to the last mile and enter that room, do not tell them what they want."Why did the vioce in his head sound royal((I'm trying to get the image of the vioce being British, but without saying that. sweatdrop )) to him?'Don't tell who what?'"Now your geting it."At this Shin was greatly confused. And he walked the last few miles in a confused silence.

((XD Remember Trimley. You still have Kirra with you.XD))

Takara picked up another paper and set it down in front of her. She redipped her feather and began writing again, the only sound in the room coming the scratching of her feather against the paper. The only silence same when she stopped writing to put more ink on the feather. Hours passed and a stack of papers developed beside her. Night came closer, and as the sun's bottom met the tip of the horizon she set the feather off to the side and walked over to where her bathroom was. After taking a bath she wrapped a robe around herself and walked over to a mirror. She checked to see if there were any bruises left on her neck. When she saw that there were weren't, she rubbed her neck and turned away. She picked out a black dress that had ice colored dragons twisting all around it. It had small thin straps for the shoulders, and the bottom of it was loose so she could move around more freely. Putting it to herself she also grabbed a pair of black shorts that were tight so it couldn't be seen beneath her dress. She put on her necklace that held the clear diamond and picked up a golden circlet that looked as if it were vines twisting over one another; a small diamond hanging off of the point from the center.

Once Takara's wet hair was brushed out and she'd dried it with heat she put her circlet on and returned to her papers, grabbing the stack and going over to the door. Opening it she asked the gaurd there to send the papers to the council. He nodded, taking the papers and heading down the hall. Once he was out of view, she stepped out of her room, running down the hall and over to the garden she had been in earlier that day. Now standing in front of the door she put the key in it, unlocking the door and stepping out. She shut the door and locked it again, putting the key away and walking to where the fountain was. A soft breeze brushed back, blowing her dress back. The grass beneath her bare feet was soft and warm, just like the air was.

Stepping up onto the edge of the fountain, Takara bowed to the statue and then jumped off of the edge. Walking over to some of the flowers she bent down, pushing her long wavy hair back and gently touched the velvet petals. Standing up Takara walked up to one of the few trees in the garden. Reaching up she grabbed a branch, pulling herself up. Climbing slowly up she made it up to a high branch where the leaves were less dense. Sitting on the branch and against the trunk, the anguish-filled queen gazed up at the stars and the half-filled moon. For once, her sharp ice eyes didn't look hollow or cold. Despite the fact that it was warm she brought her arms up and hugged herself.

"...Silent as a tree without a soft wind to stir its branches..." Takara whispered to herself, and as if reacting to her words a small breeze brushed past her again. As her hair was lightly lifted up along with her dress the young woman leaned back; still holding herself. "Alone I'll stand. And for how long? A fate I dislike to look at, however one that I seem to be bonded with until death...."

Sentinel ha heard of the attacks but did not move into help. Instead he had just stood on the highest point of the castle, observing. Mages had died. "That's sad, they were so close to being honored,"he thought."At least they gave their lives for their queen.

He would introduce himself to the Queen, but not beofre he met the "assassin". He heard about Hosvanji, a supreme deity, from his own deity, Marduk the Justice. An ally with the same bonds would be useful.

He flew down from the rooftop and went to Matt's bedroom windowledge. He met the lead mage a while ago, who told him to drop in once in a while. "Hello," he said, "I doubt you wanted me to drop in this way". He smiled.

Matt stood up out of his bed looking at the person who had just swung into his room through the window. "Um... hello... may I ask who you are? And what are you doing in my room?" Matt asked as he stepped out of bed. Upon closer inspection, he recognized the face of the stranger. "Sentinel? Is that really you? I haven't seen you in ages! How have you been my friend?" Matt was happy to see such a familiar kind face.

Takara let out a soft sigh, shutting her eyes as she liftened to the silent air. It was quiet, despite the melee that had taken place earlier that day. Part of her dress hung off of the branch, waving in the wind at times just as her hair did. It was good to know that no one could get into this locked garden, unless they came in over the tall walls that surrounded the garden. Thinking about those who sneaked around reminded her about that man who had killed her husband. Takara barely opened her eyes, and they opened wider slowly as her gaze returned to the stars. Who was he? That strange man who was a hero. He had spoken of Hosvanji, who sounded like a god and a man. She had never heard of Hosvanji even though her knowledge spread out into many cultures and religions. The name did seem to ring a bell, but not to where she could really look into her memories to see if she could possibly pull it out.

'Hosvanji was either a man gifted with holy powers, or a god.' The queen thought to herself as her eyes remained locked to the dark sky. 'I cannot be completely certain, though. I shall have to investigate it tomorrow.'

When would that man without a name come back again? Was he still here, hiding in the shadows?

Only time would tell, Takara told herself as she slowly climbed down the tree. Once she was back on the ground she walked a small distance from the tree and laid down on the grass. Rolling onto her back, she placed her hands on her stomach. Now her ears focused on the sound of the flowing fountain and the wind.

"Erre usra te so
Yarseh ka so evol

Veska hiy so evol
Hiyesmar weso hiyermor erro"

Takara's voice continued, a song from ancient times rolling off of her tongue. She lowered her eyes as she sung, though not completely.

((The song says this:

I listen to the
Sound of the wind

Life in the air
Passes right through me.))

Looking down at the cat, he realized that she needed to be returned no matter how much he enjoyed Kirra's company. He picked her up and set the feline on his left shoulder then stood. "I need to take you back." Kirra meowed, and Cedric seemed to understand. He nodded and looked at the castle. "I'll be visiting often now that I'm welcome." He shook his head a little to send away the thoughts. "Let's go." He dropped to the ground and made sure Kirra remained steadfast on his shoulder. The cat seemed to have no problem with staying on comfortably so Cedric jogged, turning to a sprint as he reached the wall.

Only when he had grabbed a parapet and pulled himself up did he remember that he didn't need to do that anymore, and it would be considered rude. As if sneaking in and killing the King wasn't rude enough... he thought to himself, then let it go. A guard came by to intercept him, but when he came closer, recognized Cedric from yesterday. "Oh, sorry sir!" he saluted. "That was a very good show yesterday! It boosted morale greatly!" He looked around as if their might be an eavesdropper.

"You know, they're calling you a lot of really weird names now because nobody knows what it really is." Cedric didn't respond. The guard became a bit more nervous. "What is your name?"

"I don't have a name," he lied. Of course he did, and he still remembered, but it was a faint memory that hadn't been heard in ages. Before the guard could continue on, he leapt over the wall into the gardens.

"Hey, you're not allowed in there!" yelled the guard. Cedric ignored him. He wasn't going to be in there very long. Maybe a few more seconds. He just had to scale the next wall.

Without knowing it, Karasi had fallen asleep on the rooftop. She had slept dreamlessly, and was quiet surprised to find that the sun was already tinting the sky with its rays. Sitting up, she stretched the cricks out of her back. Looking down at the street, she saw that all traces of the battle from the night before were gone. Suddenly, Karasi wondered, with all the noise of the battle, why had none of the villagers come to see what was going on. The Elvian shook her head; she would not dwell on that now. Looking down at the street again, she soon spotted the object that had fallen the night before.

Believing that she was free from the sight of the castle, Karasi quickly jumped to the ground, using her wings to slow her descent. Looking up and down the street to be sure no one could see her, she ran over to the object. Picking it up, she wondered at what it could possibly be. It looked like a gem, but none that she had seen before. Slightly oval like in shape, it was deeply faceted, and Karasi could tell it was of some value. Strange, that someone would let this out of their possession, even while fleeing a threat. Staring into the gem, she began to notice that it was iridescent, changing it's colour with it's light. So absorbed was the Elvian in the stone, that she was oblivious to her surroundings.

Still confused at the vioce that was in his head, Shin was pulled very rudely into a room. The room was very poorly lighted. The only area that had any light was where he was standing. The rest was in darkness. Both of the buff elves where still there, but the one that looked like him left and closed the door behind him. Shin winched when the door closed, for a very creepy and dark vioce sounded. "You are the spy of Trusar? Weak." Shin's eyes twiched in hearing himself being called weak. He may be, but he has skills to back it up. At least that's what he always thought. "Human, what did you hear the last time you were spying?" the deep vioce said. When Shin didn't reply something sturded in the blackness. It seemed to be moving toward him. What looked like a feet slightly was visable, along with a very pale, ice blue eye. Then it stopped. "What did you hear?" it growled. Shin still didn't reply, he felt like he was following the vioce that was in his head, but he was still confused by what it meant. The ice eye creatcher moved fully into the pale light. It was a very tall dark elf with a patch over his right eye. He wasn't wearing a shirt, showing off his 8 pack ads. His hair was white and spiked and his pants were a faded dark green. The elf had Shin's twin blades at his side like they were his own. Seeing this Shin almost growled. The tall dark elf nodded to the two buff ones who left. Shin glanced at them leaving wondering why they did so. Shin didn't have anymore time to think before a hand came to his neck and lifted him off the ground about 1 foot. The dark elf grinned and said, "If you won't speak. I'll just make you speak."

Sentinel moved in and greeted his friend. "I've been well. Just been gathering information, doing odd jobs for my boss. Nothing really bad. And a daughter with a more fiesty atittude than myself keeps me busy."

Sentinel laughed and then said solemnly, "I'm really sorry for what happened yesterday. Your students fought well."

(Thank you.)
He wondered around the outskirts of the city, a bow he was borrowing in hand. He was out hunting for some deer, for a feast a man was preparing for his daughter's marriage. He stooped down when he saw some tracks, made sure that it was from the right species. Then headed out quietly, following the tracks.

Pocketing the gem, Karasi looked up at the sky. It was still early. The elvian figured that she had time to get back to the inn before anyone took notice of her abcence, like the innkeeper... Heading to a nearby square, Karasi unfurled her wings and took to fthe sky once more. Flying slowly for a moment, the girl got her barings and headed back to the Inn. She thought that no one was awake, that no one would see her this early in the morning. She forgot to factor in those living in the castle.

Then, an idea popped into Cedric's head. He turned around and looked up at the guard. "Where might I find the Queen, sir?"

The guard paused for a moment. "Oh, she's staying in her personal garden right now. You can't go in there either! That is strictly off limits for EVERYONE except HER!" Cedric seemed to ignore him again. He scaled up the wall and began checking each of the outer areas. Finally, he found it, and her. He dropped into the 'forbidden' garden softly and looked over at her.
