Tsuin-Keiteki Ouhi Aisu-Hebi
Ouhi Hebi The Leader of the Defenders

The ice around the First Division headquarters began to whine yet again. It pushed itself upwards another fifty feet, and it began to darken. A dome slowly began to form with wide pillars. The ice began to have a muddy look to it as it continued to form. Two long spikes would form from the edges of the wall. Ouhi walked to the top and closed her eyes, "The greatest offense is the best defense, my friends.. May your defenses never fall. Your blade's arm never fail. Your heart fail you before your dreams."
She raises a hand and lightning dances over the clouds above. The thunder sounds like roars from the giant serpent. A flash of lightning would strike and Ouhi would appear in the sky near Kagezume. She gives him a small bow of her head and clasp her hand over a cane of ice. She stairs up at him, "You were always mischievous, hm? Very. So, you were bored, was it? Angry? Disappointed? Or was it just boredom? It looks to me as more of stupidity." She closes her eyes and sighs, "Kill your shinigami, your zanpakuto's wielder, will accomplish nothing but death, hate, and anguish. As I have seen, you don't look like you care, and that is why I cannot join you, Kagezume. I will not let people suffer for the ignorant bliss of one spirit." She kept her hands rested on the cane, leaning at an angle outwards, and stared towards Kagezume.

心の輝き køkøяø nø kąġąyąkι 心の輝き Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished. Kagayaki eyed the two female spirits as they left and it wasn't until they were just about to be out of her range of sight that she held her right hand up, put her fingers like she was mimicking a gun and shot a Kōsen at the back of Namihime's head. Even at this distance it would reach in a second ad it was aimed rather well too. With little to no emotion or sign of expression, Kagayaki vanished and an invisible force would slam into Kei's face as Kagayki moved at her top speed to kick the spirit in the face. Done with her first fight, she could concentrate on taking out another set of spirits. From the looks of things, this fight wasn't going to be any more difficult than the last. "Jūshin, don't let it go anywhere, then get out of the way." Kagayaki said into Jūshin's head and hers alone.
Kagezume looked up at Ōhi-Hebi and blinked, but offered no other expression or sign of acknowledgement to her. Fading out of sight, he used a Shunpo to get on level with the spirit and 7 feet behind her upon the roof. "Won't join me? ... I don't care." He breathed into her head with telepathic speech. His tone was lifeless, emotionless and overall fairly boring, even if it did carry a bit of evil to it. The lower half of his body split apart as it broke down into the element he created; the Kuromijn. These atoms, as if they were starving, clung to the building and began to devour the structure, ice and all. Kagezume turned his head slightly to the right so that he could see Ōhi-Hebi in his right's peripheral. He said nothing and made no movements, but merely floated there, as if he were waiting for something. Thus, light cannot give birth to darkness, but darkness can give birth to light. Darkness is not in opposition to light. Darkness is a source that holds all things within it, and is tremendously broad-minded. And this broad-mindedness becomes a power that takes in all opposites such as good and evil, superioity and inferiority, self and others, etc. This is because light is the basis of opposition and disparity. ---Namihime--- ---Defender -- of -- Seireitei--- ---Zanpakuto -- Spirit -- of -- the -- Fifth -- Division--- Nami noticing that they weren't being pursued slowed down then eventually stopped and let go of Tenka closing her eyes and letting out a tired sigh as she rubbed her left shoulder. Then all of the sudden she moved to the side and felt another beam go all the way through her left shoulder. Closing her eyes she held them shut tightly for several minutes before she forced the pain from her mind for a few minutes at least. "It's alright Tenka-san. You made some bad choices but we all have. We just move forward from our mistakes wiser than before. I rescued you because I chose to you didn't make me do anything."
Looking around at the wasteland Seireitei had become she seen just how dire the situation had become considering the only thing that seemed to have been untouched was Sōkyoku hill. Why was it untouched though? Something was out of place with the whole situation. "Perhaps we should investigate Sōkyoku Hill it seems to be the only place untouched. It is a natural place to start looking for some way to wake everyone up. That is considering everyone is still alright. You are free to do whatever you want however Tenka-san and are not required to follow me around. There are some presences at the ruins of the Fourth Division you could check out. Up to you."
With that said Nami began walking slowly towards the execution grounds since her limbs were still aching. Her shoulder felt like it was on fire but she kept the pain to herself not wanting Tenka to worry about her anymore than necessary. Looking down at herself she seen the extent of her injuries which were quite immense. Burns, holes, and small cauterized cuts were all up and down her limbs and torso not to mention she was missing her hairpiece. Her usual regal look had disappeared with all the wounds and the missing headpiece though she still carried herself with dignity. She would not be arriving at the grounds anytime soon because of the pace she was keeping but somehow she thought that was best.

引き寄せるが弾き返す At the speed of light, Juushin didn't see or hear Kagayaki coming. She felt her all right, but the feeling was such that Kagayaki was already upon Kei by the time she was felt, because that's how fast she was. Blinking several times in surprise, Juushin backed up, trapped the water where it floated and used a Shunpo to back up several feet, cancelling the weightlessness in the air. While they had not been in space, the fact that Juushin had exposed Ryu to weightlessness meant he was to be subject to several side effects of SAS once he was returned to normal gravity, a few of them being nausea and vomiting, vertigo, headaches, lethargy, and overall malaise. any of these would create an environment within the body unsuitable for proper battle.

∞ D atenshi : ∴ : R ebels ∞ ⌈ἐκπίπτω⌋ -------------------------------- Datenshi let out a small scoff and pushed his thumb under his nose cockily, " That won't phase me. Whether intentional or not. I doubt it was, though." Upon him ending she was gone and upon him within the second. His eyes narrowed as he focused on her and he lifted his right arm up and used his left hand to make a cross-guard. Her foot slammed into the guard Datenshi made and he was pushed back some feet, through the process of which he threw his hands out to his sides and reformed his blades. " Your little pseudo-hierro won't work any more. Hadou...It's a latent ability I can activate without a command. It's a technique that causes my weapon to quickly vibrate at a molecular level with reishi taken from directly around the weapon. It cuts through things like butter...as I did with your ice. Let's see how you can hold up that armor now!" Datenshi threw up his blades and they began to glow before they wiggled and became an amorphous ball of black and white. They surged over to Datenshi's hands and reformed into a pair of Tekko-kagi, attributed with a long flexible sleeve of armor that moved all the way to his shoulder. It was offensive, quick, defensive, and had Hadou running all over it. Datenshi started for Rei, moving quickly he zigzagged towards her. He neared her within a second or two and when he was within around 5 feet in front of her he vanished. He appeared below her, at around a 2 feet distance, which would ultimately be a distraction for he would then come from above her, his left hand going for a slash down her side. The one from below would be a clone that would either hit her or be destroyed upon being hit.

Rei Nagare Zanpakutō Spirit An open-mouthed smirk played across Rei's face, baring her canines, which were akin to a fox's. "Not listening must be a good skill of yours." She said softly, looking at the attack coming at her. Had she been someone else's spirit, Rei would have been worried, but she wasn't. The vibrations at a molecular level, while useful for ice or stone, they were nothing for her. Rei's hierro stood strong when Rei matched the vibrations of Datenshi's blade with an opposite vibration on the topmost layer, forcing the bladesto be rejected from the surface. "Reiryoku... is Reiryoku." Rei put a finger to her mouth, and a shock wave expelled from her body, one that would stop a heart for several seconds. Just beneath and off to the side of Datenshi, the one above her, a spike of ice shot diagonally up from the ground below, aiming to skewer him. She held back the one below her with her foot, pressing down just hard enough on the blade it was wielding to keep it at bay, but no harder. "Ice is solid, it stays still and move to no one's will when no one is around. I told you that you would lose in terms of Reiryoku, because my control of it is so fine that I won't waste an ounce where others would. Free form control of Reiryoku is an art, an art that allows Yuki-sama to be crafty with Kidō. While I cannot use Kidō, I can do this much. A brute such as yourself lacks the finesse." Rei grinned widely, her eyes becoming slits. Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Tsuin-Keiteki Ouhi Aisu-Hebi
Ouhi Hebi The Leader of the Defenders

Ouhi simply gave a smirk and looked over her shoulder. She let the smirk stay, "Am I suppose to do something about this, Kage? A building is not the foundation of an army, nor the army the foundation of the leader, and the leader the woodwork of that nation and its people. You can rebuild a building, you can replace a leader, you build new armies, you control and divide nations. The lives are what matter, Kage, but I believe that is what you care less about." She turns to him and stares, "You are exactly like Hei.. In fear of your own emotions, because you force yourself to hold so much. You can only express hate as it is the simplest form to express, explain, and get over. Now, are you going to rot a building, or were you actually looking for something?" She continues the stare towards him, her eyes almost reminding one of polar ice; in a way, rather almost as beautiful as art. No matter their beauty though, they did seem to sting when they had that certain stare to them.

心の輝き køkøяø nø kąġąyąkι 心の輝き Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished. Blinking, Kagezume listened as she talked, though nothing she had to say or anything she did had any sort of effect on him. Remaining emotionless, he held his arms out, holding them a few feet apart and then turned to look at Ōhi-Hebi as his Kuromijin devoured the building below. He then proceeded to project his thoughts into her head once more. "But how can one rebuild out of nothing? When nothing is left, those with nothing, they will starve and perish. When there is no food, no sustenance, no shelter... you will all become subject to the elements. You will need food to replenish your Reiryoku when all of this is over, whether I win or lose. There's not much you can do with this if everything you once owned is trapped within me..." Kagezume took a glance at both his hands in turn, then looked over at Ōhi-Hebi with a blank look playing across his face.
"I... I fear my emotions? How is one able to fear something that is not present? When, exactly, have I shown you hate or any form of emotion? Or when has my master exhibited these traits? Why... why is it that you think that is all that goes on in the heads of those who oppose you? Is it because we differ in thought that you label us in such a way to justify why you disagree? Is it because my master is of the dark element that you have decided that both of us cannot be productive to the good in our own right?"
Kagezume blinked, then dropped his hands, letting them swing carelessly at his side before coming to a full stop. "There is so much you think you know, but in reality, you really have no clue. Hate... can be extremely hard to get over. A child could be happy to be with her mother and father, and then they are killed and that happiness is shattered in an instant... And should that child hold a grudge over the killer of her parents until she dies, what emotion is the hardest for her to get over? All emotions, though I do not often experience them, are things not so easy to relinquish, each of them has their own merit." Kagezume slapped his palms together and produced a nodachi, and swung it towards Ōhi-Hebi, letting a dense ball of black energy slide from the tip that would certainly rip through her body with the force equivalent to a Cero Oscura if allowed to hit. Compared to Hei's, it was bigger, faster, and more powerful, as Kagezume himself was more powerful than normal. While it was true all the spirits would be more powerful from being separated from their wielders, Kagezume and Kagayaki were more powerful than this.
Further off, Kagayaki was watching Ryu and Kei with careful eyes. Her Reiryoku was clearly visible; white with a yellow tinge, and it began to spike rapidly. As soon as Juushin was out of the way, Kagayaki let loose a power unseen by anyone's eyes, vanished, and had slain both of them before anyone could move. She reappeared a few feet away and the faint outline of something large that she was holding with both hands vanished and her Reiryoku level dropped. Tsuin-Keiteki Ouhi Aisu-Hebi
With a though, without a voice, without a soul.. Don't let me die here..

Ouhi raises the cane and blocks the attack with her cane. The defense would result in the hyper-freeze of the atmosphere around a certain area. The wall certainly not able to completely block the explosion, now sent Ouhi sliding back across the sky. She came to a stop with her cane twirling back down in front of her. She rest her hands back on it, "You misheard, Kage. I did not say that Hei was not productive in his own rights, as you say." She uses an index finger to push her bangs back, "I said you both share a common emotion of hate, which is basically easy to come, and go, for him. He was one of the most dedicated men that Tomomi knew, and I had the pleasantry of meeting."
Ouhi closes her eyes and lowers her head, "You are wrong once again, my dear Kage. Even if a child's mother and father dies, they do indeed carry a deep hatred," She looks up and she holds the cane to her side, "But she may still forgive them!"

It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished. Kagezume faded into sight behind Ohi-hebi facing the opposite direction, his nodachi sticking towards her back, as he had stabbed back at it and sealed his Reiryoku so he was untraceable. The image of him in front of her still stared while the one that had stabbed Ohi vanished. "You didn't listen, but called me wrong... Yes, the option to forgive is there, but the emotion to hate must been conquered beforehand, and just because it can be, doesn't mean it will be. Again I ask you, when I have shown hate to you, or anyone? Please, tell me now so I may remember and rectify my mistake." At once, in a 1000 foot radius around them, darkness was replaced by light as it was sucked towards Kagezume's body, giving him a semblance of a humanoid mass of darkness.
Then this power was sucked into his body and vanished. Kagezume's skin turned black and white runes appeared on his body. "You speak of him as if you know him, but you really don't. Your master may have been analytical, but mine is cunning and a master at hiding his true intentions. You speak too quickly on subjects you have barely scratched the surface of, my emotions or lack thereof being one of them, Hei being another. Think what you wish though, it changes nothing..." Sliding forward, he aimed to bury his elbow into her chest, his strength and physical prowess now both greatly augmented by this compressed Bankai form and the other outside force acting upon him. He was more than powerful enough to send her flying, even if she should block it. "Don't use your pet names on me." Thus, light cannot give birth to darkness, but darkness can give birth to light. Darkness is not in opposition to light. Darkness is a source that holds all things within it, and is tremendously broad-minded. "N-nami-hime!" In fear, she watches as one last beam of light pierced her friend's body, a furious glare on her face as she shot a dirty look behind her, as though she was staring at the girl in question in the face. "But still......."
With a sigh, she only hopes whatever Spirits are left on the sane side are holding out. "Are you kidding Nami-hime? Look at the state your in!" With a brave front, she smiles tiredly, her forced smile could be detected even from a blind man. "Can't leave you here getting into any trouble~"

With a thought, without a voice, without a soul.. Don't let me die here..

Ouhi smirks, "You're right.. I don't truly know you, nor Hei, all that well." As he came towards her, she gave a gasp and tried to block it with her arms in a cross. The rapid formation of ice helped to shield her from too much damage, but she was sent skidding across the air for quite a distance. She came to a stop after nearly hitting a tower near the First Division. She looks up to Kagezume, The judged be judged, and all the wretched be saved. I throw my curses all over your name.
She stands once again, and her gown flows around her. The sky roars again as lightning can be dancing under the very bottom of the clouds. She stares to Kagezume, "I don't know you too well, as you say. So, tell me, what are you doing Kage!?" She forms another cane of ice which gives a polar-blue ice sparkle. She glares towards him, "Tell me why you believe killing is the only way to get what you want... Kage?"

∞ D atenshi : ∴ : R ebels ∞ ⌈ἐκπίπτω⌋ -------------------------------- s**t! I won't be able to beat her. I need to fend her off. Damn it! I can't see a weak point in her abilities. Datenshi was on his decent when his heart did an irregular strained beat and suddenly stopped. His eyes widened and he felt himself seem to float in the air and fall slowly. He felt her reiryoku spike slightly as she threw an attack at him, one he managed to dodge via 'Nomu'. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and his heart began to pump again. He was close to the ground before his body began to move. The sudden loss of oxygen and the like made his muscles stiffen quickly and they were deadlocked, yet, but were still sort of stiff. Datenshi stopped himself about 10 feet from the ground an looked up at Rei. " You...are a powerful, if not perfect zanpakutou. I came to this battle knowing full well you were. But to think I was naive enough to think I stood a chance. Ha. It was foolish. It seems this is where I shall end. But I will hold you off for as long as I can. No sense in not doing my duty, yes. En garde!" Datenshi vanished from spot and would appear 5 feet behind Rei. His claws were held out to the sides and he swung his arms towards her. His weapons seemed to flow off of his hand and become two spiked whips. He threw them both at her, buckling his left hand to create the crack of the whip upon her, letting his right attempt to wrap around her.

Ibara Defender Ibara stepped out of Hyagato's body. He'd fallen asleep at his desk, his face planted in a pile of paper work. That wasn't unusual. What was very strange, was that she was manifested herself. That made no sense. Gato-chan always had to do it. "Hey. Gato-chan.... What the hell are you playing at? You'd better not be doing something stupid in your own office."She smacked her shinigami on the head..... Nothing..... Now that was really odd. Gato-chan always woke up when someone smacked him..... She would have to try something drastic... Ibara's sparkling, purple eyes flashed around the room, sparks flying from them as she turned. Then they fell on a particularly large and heavy looking book... Perfect. She moved across the room, her body absorbing energy from the motion... That wasn't too strange. When she was manifested to her full power, she was fast enough to create friction in the air that she could absorb. It was strange for it to be herself though. Not Gato-chan in their bankai form. She had the book now and positioned it over Gato-chan's head.... Then she dropped it... There was a loud, hollow thunk as the tome made contact with the man's skull..... And still there was no reaction. Gato-chan wasn't sleeping. This was induced some how. "Somebody's gotta be able to explain this one.... I really hope it's not what it looks like."Ibara's conversation with herself wasn't strange. She often did this in Gato-chan's head. She stepped to the door which lead to the court yard and sensed something. It was several of the other spirits within the seirete..... WHAT!?! She threw open the door and hurled herself into the sky. There was something going on near the first division barrak. That was probably the best place to look. With that thought, and a crack of static in the air, she sped off to find out who or what was causing this. ((I appologise for the former post I had here. Didn't read the whole thing. XP stupid me. I hope this fits better.))

心の輝き køkøяø nø kąġąyąkι 心の輝き Light gives of itself freely, filling all available space. It does not seek anything in return; it asks not whether you are friend or foe. It gives of itself and is not thereby diminished. "Why do you not listen when others speak?..." Kagezume sighed inwardly and looked at her with a blank expression, telling her nothing. "It's really not..." Was all he said before speeding up the consumption process until it was all gone, and the reformed his whole body and vanished. Using a darkness enhanced Shunpo to move towards the two going after Hei, Kagezume looked back where the spirit was and shut his eyes. "You do not take an attack seriously... You should..." He said mostly to himself as no one was around any longer to hear. Reaching Tenka and Namihime, he landed next to them and wasted no time speed-blizting the both of them.
While not nearly as fast as Kagayaki, he was more powerful than her and could hit much harder. His strikes could shatter bone with relative ease in this state. These two wouldn't be able to dodge too well anyway. They were also in such close proximity that he could take them out at the same time quickly. He was above them as soon as he appeared on the ground next to them, almost as if he had teleported, his legs were split apart and his hands were between them, as if he were playing leapfrog. Time seemed to stand still as he reached for both of their heads to smash them together. If the spirits would not take him seriously, then there would be a death on their side.
With narrowed eyes, Kagayaki dispelled her light and looked skyward. Even with the spot of light where the 1st Division used to be, she could tell dawn was approaching fast. She would then vanish immediately and appear as high as she could without touching the Sekkiseki barrier. Thus, light cannot give birth to darkness, but darkness can give birth to light. Darkness is not in opposition to light. Darkness is a source that holds all things within it, and is tremendously broad-minded.
