Looking up as Jerome madly dashed back to her, she blinked tiredly a few times and couldn't help but let a small smile creep on her lips. "Was I suppose to...Oh!" The vixen flushed under her pelt, but wrapped her arms around his shoulders, resting her body on his back as she held on tight.
"You don't have to run so fast this time, don't get wiped out..." She lowered her head and spoke to the side of his helmet. A little nervous, since she'd seen what strength he had and ducked her head into the spacing between his back plate and under the ledge of his helmet against the undersuit.

Jerome scoffed. "A situation like this demands speed." He said as he slowly turned. He took off running again, but no where near as fast as he had the first time. He wanted to make sure she could at least hold on.
Still, it was a long run back to the shop. When Jerome finally arrived at the shop, he slowed his pace and walked casually into the shop. Surprisingly, there were several nameless foxes who were medics, and immadiately rushed to Koyuki's aide

Opening her mouth to argue, Koyuki realized this probably wasn't new to the Spartan; and figured his expertise heavily outweighed her insecurities. So she stayed quiet and held on tightly even though the trip wasn't as rough as she thought it would be. Before she knew it, her head lifted as the door opened to the shop...indeed he was fast.
However when the unfamilliar foxes rushed her to try and treat her wound her grip on his armor tightened and her tail puffed out in unease much like a feline threatened. She had her mother to thank for little quirks like that, but her ears folded back...she knew the bullet had to be removed and treated for infection; but she'd never been through any of this.
Exaustion and adrenaline did strange things to one's mind; as Koyuki found herself uncharacteristically bearing her teeth with a hiss at the foxes just trying to help her. Today had nearly killed her for aiding a stranger that was all a part of his trap; so it was no surprise the only one she trusted right now was Jerome. It was evident how she clung to him for dear life, a friendly face in a sea of potential enemies.

Before collapsing on the ground from exhaustion, Jerome assured the others that it was ok. "Koyuki you need to let them help you. I'm not a medic. All I can do is quick bandaid things. Go with them. Trust me, I've got someone who will watch over you and if they do anything funny, he'll give them hell" he said as he rested his heavy head on the floor. He had never ran that fast before for that long of a distance.

Yelping as Jerome collapsed to the floor; Koyuki gasped in pain as she rolled off of him onto the floor. "Jerome! Are you..." She didn't have time to finish as she listened to what he said...as much as she didn't like leaving him she had no choice.
Concern fluttered over her face as she nodded to the medics to help her up, as much as she hated it. "I trust you..." She said softly as she was carried off to another room, worried over the condition of the spartan.

The Spartan watched as Koyuki was whisked away for medical attention. He had accomplished his mission and he was happy. A tad concerned for her well being, but all the same, there wasn't much more he could ask for. Elysia. Commence armor shut down and repair. he thought as he felt his eyelids grow heavy. There was a small buzzing as the shield deactivated and the armor grew extremely heavy. Every now and then the Spartan could feel intense heat around certain parts of his armor as it tried to fix itself. He had certainly banged it up good from straining it. Still, he decided to shut his eyes and wait to hear of the female fox, knowing full well she would turn out just fine

An hour had passed since she'd been whisked away, and despite the pain, muffled cries and then after all was said and donethe dull ache of her wound all bandaged up tightly; she fought her way out of the medic's grasp to nearly slide right into Jerome as he still lay sleeping it seemed on the floor.
He seemed alright, as she looked him over quickly before letting out a sigh of relief and sat at his side. Much to the dismay of the medics she refused to to sit in the room to rest unless they dragged Jerome in there too where she could keep an eye on him. Since they said that wasnt an option, she would rest on the floor at his side untill he woke up. Curling her tail over the bare section on his back to 'cover him, Koyuki leant against a nearby chair, unable to leand forward thanks to the stitches or lower herself to lay without him. Yet this would do for now.

Jerome had no idea as to how long he was out. He felt the heat of the repairs vanish and Elysia chimed in his helmet." Suit Repairs at 100%. Bringing shields back up, and waking your lazy a** up because your girlfriend is back" she said in a very disgruntled tone.
The Spartan groaned and opened his eyes. His vision was a bit blurry, so he blinked a few times. He soon saw that he was in the exact position he was in when he fell asleep. He stood, but soon felt the hunger cries of his stomach. "Wow..how long was I out?" he mumbled to himself, still unaware of his surroundings

Twitching her ears as she heard his breathing change even amongst the chatter of the shop, turning her head to look down at her once sleeping companion. In no time at all he seemed to return to the world of the consious, as she smiled tiredly; kept away by the evening's fire roaring away in the fireplace nearby.
"Two hours..." Koyuki chimed in, even if it was more to himself than anyone. Her tail gave a little flick off of Jerome as he stood up, remaining on the floor herself against the chair. Smiling up at him, she curled her tail around her legs, tilting her head to the side. "Did you have a good...sleep?"
She could never tell, since he had a lot of different 'shut down' modes it seemed.

Jerome was a bit startled by the sudden voice. He looked over to see none other than Koyuki. He took his helmet off and had a large beaming smile on his face. "Glad to see you made it out ok!" He grinned. He wanted to ask what happened, but now wasn't the best time.
"Well there's a difference between sleeping and passing out, but I guess I did get a good sleep" he said nervously as he rubbed the back of his head.

Koyuki's eyes widened a little in surprise at his broad smile, but immediately her own lips tugged into one as well. "Likewise...I think I got out about a hour ago..." To be frank she had no idea what time it was, but it was rather late considering there were only a few lingering patrons left and the snow had yet to stop in the darkness outside.
"Well, I told you not to run yourself ragged...but none the less I am glad you are better." She felt a bit uneasy knowing their run back and his search to find her had pushed him to the point of passing out...but of course she was ever so greatful. Tossing a look back to the fire and the couch infront of it, she looked back to Jerome and held up a paw to him.
"Ano....can you please help me up? I am a bit chilly without my kimono, and the fire looks so inviting." A weak smile graced her lips, her legs having fallen asleep at least thirty minutes ago.

The Spartan was quick to help her up despite his ever growling stomach. He tried to ignore it and keep a pleasant smile on his face while he walked her over to the fire. "Hold on a moment" He said as he ran over to one of the shop's infinite couches and pushed it over to where the female fox could easily lie down and enjoy the warmth of the blazing fire

"Thank you...again." Koyuki breathed, feeling a bit of pain from her stomach but it was nothing like it initially was. She had been saying that a lot to him since she'd met him, but she meant it every time she did.
Sitting down she brought her legs up to curl on the seat, using her tail as a bit of a blanket over them as she sighed happily from the warmth. Turning her head back to once more catch Jerome, she wondered a few things, but decided to keep themto herself for the time being.
"Do you have somewhere to be or...?" Did he want to sit? Probably not, he'd been passed out for the last two hours.

The Spartan peered over the top of the couch as the small vixen had curled up. He nodded in content and moved to the side of the couch and looked at the kitchen, wondering if it'd be alright if he took some food. He hadn't eaten in nearly a week.
His ears perked up when Koyuki spoke, and he darted his gaze at her. He pondered for a moment. "Well My mission is to ensure the safety of all others in this place, so...I guess I would have to stay" he stated with a small grin

Koyuki watched as she saw a definate change in the spartan, or maybe he'd finally gotten enough 'sleep' to really be himself? None the less, she ended up following his intent gaze to the kitchen before realizing he must have been starving from that over exertion. "Im sure they wound't mind...if they do i'll just pay for it tomorrow when they get in." Koyuki motioned her hand to 'shoo' him away to get food, "I promise I won't dissapear, i'll be here when you come back." She smiled sheepishly.
"OH! Don't eat the noodles...incase your not aware..." Koyuki warned, having nearly learned it the hard way herself. Turning her head back towards the fire and out of sight, she felt her cheeks burn up for some odd reason.
..yet she knew it wasn't from the fire.
