"Th-thanks I was kinda wondering how we were going to keep these things on out person. Hanging it from our necks don't sound to bad at all." Dan said with a smile as he reached out with his hand to touch Lisa's as he took the lanyard. He treasured this moment and he wondered if in the end if things would still be painted in the colors of affection that he felt for her.

Lisa smiled at Dan. "Welcomes." She purred. "It's much easier than having to worry about clipping it to your clothes, though it might not look bad clipped to your uniform." She said reaching up to the neck of his shirt and with a soft giggle she messed with the collar as if she were straightening it out. "So what should we do now?" She asked Dan as she took a step back and let her hands drop to her sides.

As Lisa reached up to the collar of his shirt Dan's heart began to beat faster. For a moment her face got closer to his as she playfully straightened his collar. Her lips looked full making Dan wonder if they were really this full before.
"How about we find that pizza place now? It's no Lady and the Tramp but I am kinda curious how pizza differs from New York." Dan said with a slight chuckle. He felt a little awkward because the first thing he wanted to do was offer her a kiss but he knew he had to be patient.

Lisa laughed softly, her cheeks growing rosy as she did so. "Alright, I could use some pizza. Standing in line does make one hungry, wouldn't you say? Do you recall where that building was?" Lisa asked with a sweet tone. The bell that acted as an earring in her cat ear jingled softly. "Would you like to lead the way?" She wondered what he meant by his illusion to Lady and the Tramp. Did he want spaghetti, or... did he want what happened due to the sharing of the spaghetti? She blushed, it wouldn't be right... but it wouldn't have been that bad either.

Dan looked around where they stood. He got his sense of direction from his mother but he didn't want to look like he was lost already. He also noticed the blush crossing Lisa's face but he didn't want to draw attention to her in this crowded place. He noticed how several people were heading in a certain direction and Dan figured the exit might be that way.
"I think so. Once we get outside I think I can retrace our steps back. Me thinks it is time to go my fair lady." Dan said confidently. It seemed being confident was the easy part. Now all he had to do was be correct as he took Lisa's hand and pulled her after the crowd.

Lisa smiled brightly and accepted his hand. She knew the way if Dan didn't, but she wanted to see how he would react, and well, she wasn't sure why she asked him to lead her to the place. It was her own strange mind longing for something she couldn't grasp. "Well then," She said happily, "let's get going!" she cheered and started following him into the crowd.

Dan was off to a god start until the people began to combine into a larger crowd as more people came in to register. With Lisa firmly in hand he plunged into the crowd as he barely saw the door over the heads of the surging masses. It was unreal how many people were showing up after they registered. He could only imagine how hard it was going to move when the convention itself started. Finally they both reached the doors and made their way outside to the cool mist that covered the city so. It was a refreshing change from the crowded room.

Lisa looked around excitedly at the people from the crowds. She kept close to Dan still, watching him as he moved though the crowds. It was curious to her. She wanted to know what he was thinking but she didn't wish to disturb him as he did seem very concentrated. Once they were outside of the building she witnessed him transform. He almost seemed stronger standing out in the swirling fog. She stepped a little closer and wrapped her arms around his arm. She lay her face against his arm as well. She could feel his muscles shift beneath the dress shirt. "You like it better out here don't you?" She asked softly. "You're not fond of the crowds." She foretold in her gentle voice.

Dan listened to Lisa's words and nodded. "I can deal with crowds but I think it will be better when everyone is a little more spread out." Dan said with a chuckle. Besides I wanted to make sure we got out safely. Besides some hot pizza slices are calling for us this away."
Dan began to move again after getting his bearings. He was fairly sure it was the right direction. The smell of eateries emanated from all over even with the moisture of the mist that surrounded them.

Lisa's arms loosened around his, and she eventually released it until one arm brushed past his till she found his hand. "Crowds can be bad at times here." She said softly. "But often times you will have breathing room. Besides, there will be one familiar face in the crowd." She said smiling, and looking forward into the mist as they left the convention center. "Mmmm, I can already taste that pizza." Lisa said with a laugh.
She looked up at him. "And safe we are, you did a wonderful job, thank you." She said taking a second to squeeze his hand gently.

The loss of warmth as she let his arm loose was a little sad but Dan pressed on yet and the squeeze reassured him. His heart was beating fast from moving and his own feelings for Lisa. He wondered how much of what he was feeling was the subtle affect of hormones raging through his system and how much of it was his genuine affections toward her.
"Look over there! I think I can see it." Dan said as the familiar glow of signs pierced through the mist. He had to take his glasses off because the mist was making it hard for him to see but he was fairly sure the pizza place was coming up by the shape of the sign.

Lisa peered though the fog of the day, squinting with the effort to see the bright signs ahead. "I think you're right!" She exclaimed and jumped forward with a burst of energy. She was surprisingly hungry suddenly. She wasn't sure if it was her imagination or not, but the smell of pizza, mouthwatering pizza hung in the air. Her stomach growled frightfully loud. She looked up at Dan, hoping he hadn't heard her! "What kind of pizza are you going to get?" She asked in the same eager tone. "Or, I wonder, maybe it would be a good idea to get an entire pizza, splitting the cost. But we could eat it at a later time. I noticed there was a microwave in the room." Lisa said thinking to the future. "But we can decide this later too of course." She said with a laugh.

Dan was caught off guard by Lisa's sudden surge of speed as he moved to catch up to her again while still holding her hand. "I know in the ARMY I used to be able to eat half a pizza on my own and I figured we we have been traveling a lot so you might be hungry. Course if you want to save some of the pizza then I won't complain. As for flavor I am good for anything so long as it is not mushroom or black olives." Dan said as they got to the pizza place. He jumped to the door and made sure it was opened for Lisa as she arrived.

Lisa paused, surprised by his kind act, well not so much surprised as caught off guard. Never before had anyone jumped before her so that she didn't have to open the door herself. Rosy light touched her cheeks. She stepped though the door and into the warm building. The smell of pizzas hit them like a wall. "I am hungry, but by no means could I even think to eat an entire half pizza!" Lisa exclaimed. There was something wondering though within her. Could he really eat a whole half of a pizza?
Nodding in agreement at the thought of no mushrooms or olives she also added to the list, "Well I'd rather not have any with pepperoni or that spicy sausage. Ham is good though. So based on that, what kind do you think we should get?" She asked. Reaching into her backpack she drew out her purse and she began to count out the price for half a full pizza. A full pizza seemed like the best way to go.

"Well when I was at Fort Gordon a friend introduced me to Hawaiian pizza. It has Pineapple and ham on it. I never even realized Pineapple was an option for pizza before he told me. Would you like to try something like that? I know I enjoyed it." Dan said as they looked at the menu and saw pineapple was a topping even in this city.
