((OOOOH NOOOOE. I'MMA POST AGAIN!!!))
Uriel seemed hardly effected by Abel's threat, much less Odjit's angry shouts from behind him. He out stretched his wings and glanced at her over his shoulder. "You get two, I get one. It's fair." He said.
Cain was snarling viciously, all a bristle. "Let him. Go." He ground out around clenched teeth, making a move to get at Uriel, but he jerked his head back to Odjit. His face was contorted with rage. What of him that had looked so human had all but vanished.
"You can give it a TRY, b***h, but me an' Lilith ain't going NO WHERE!" He clenched his fists and watched as his sister stepped in front of him to fight. He watched as Odjit made quick work of her, and Cain seemed surprised by this. Maybe they had lost touch, his sister and himself. Maybe they would be too much for them... but he couldn't think like that. He moved towards his sister, but he had no time to help her.
Cain snarled as shadows moved to grasp his feet and his sister struggled on the frozen ground. When Odjit leapt at him he caught at her in the air and fought at her with all his might. Grabbing her arms flames exploded from the palms of his hands and smoked roiled from his nostrils and mouth.
Uriel watched them briefly and then turned back to Abel, those unnervingly amber eyes fixed on Abel's own. Slowly his blank face broke into a slow and steady smile, eerily pleasant. "It's been awhile since I've seen something that made me feel like smiling." He said in a dead pan voice. "I wonder what I'll look like when I'm done with you."
There was a powerful pump of his wings and with a jerk he violently pulled Abel into the air.
((DUN DUN.... He kind of scares me.))

((My head feels like it's gonna explode...so...much...presssssure!))
Odjit's hands moved to Cain's face before he grabbed her arms. She snarled and landed on the ground. She was about to yank back when flames exploded onto her arms. She screamed at Cain and pulled backwards. She stumbled slightly before regaining her balance, eye turning a bright red. The burnt skin on her arms seemed to ripple slightly as her anger obviously rose.
She licked her lips and pulled her fist back. Throwing her fist out she knocked against Cain's jaw, skin giving way to the bone underneath, making the impact stronger.
Lilith managed to escape as the shadows died due to Odjit's concentration on Cain. She stood up and watched Odjit stumble from Cain, she noticed the rippling on her arms. "You can't fight fire with fire." Lilith mumbled, getting Odjit's attention.
"What?" Odjit snapped.
"Fire with fire...it doesn't work. Neither do your shadow tricks."
Odjit started to smile and Lilith stared at her. "You're right. Ice works though...I guess we'll just have to make you snap...I know who can do that..." She took a couple steps back and turned. "It shouldn't be too hard to find your dog."
Lilith moved suddenly and grabbed Odjit, whirled her arm and punched her in the face. Where Lilith had punched her, frost formed. "Land a hand on him and I won't be the only one to snap." She said coldly. Odjit started to laugh before standing up and stretching out. Within a second she was flinging her arm towards Lilith as sharp bone-like spikes busted from her skin, catching Lilith in the face and cracked the iced skin.
Meanwhile Abel struggled against Uriel's hold on him until he was pulled into the air. His heart thudded as he looked down, feet dangling as they got hire. He looked back at Uriel, the corners of his vision blurring and blackening. He tried to swallow but his throat was too closed. His mouth opened again and he winced as a burning sensation formed in his throat and lungs.
As his vision continued to blacken he looked up and whispered something in German. His eyes fluttered close and a minute later they opened, blue irises so bright they were nearly white. His eyes narrowed as large white wings spread out from his back, shirt tearing. He said something in German again and his hands grew hot and bright around Uriel's arms. His wings flapped strongly, pushing away from Uriel

((ALRIGHT. Battle time D:<... I need to get back on campus and try to catch up on work... but uh, this first. Because I've been meaning to FOR FOREVER.))
Cain smirked fiercely at Odjit's shout of pain, or perhaps just frustration. It was never apparent which it was, but still Cain's old violent heart pounded happily at the thrill of it. Seeing her anger, her eyes glowing a vicious red brought an old snarl to his face. Even as she drew back her fist and landed a solid punch along his jaw, despite the pain that caused him and how he tumbled back, he was laughing.
He managed to right himself again, a slice of skin laying the white of his bone beneath exposed. He touched at it gingerly and grinned, though jerked around to look at his sister who had managed to get herself free. He was on his feet again, clenching and unclenching his fists.
At their exchange of words, Cain seemed less thrilled about what was going on. Abel had been right about him changing. When she mentioned Saul he felt a wave of protective anger, and apparently Lilith did too. With a new sort of rage tight in his chest he leapt forward to help his sister, catching Odjit's arms in his burning hands and pulling them from his sister's face. Being near his sister extinguished the flame where she was too near, but this didn't stop him from throwing a hard blow.
As Uriel and Abel climbed higher and higher into the sky, the demon seemed content to see the angel struggle. His smile had faded, but there was a predatory look of a job well done plastered across his face.
"An angel... afraid of heights?" There was no amusement in his voice, but the mock was obviously there. He tutted quietly, shaking his head slowly. His terrible wings carried them higher.
At his words in German Uriel regarded him with interest and then his interest turned into a flash of a wince at Abel's hands on his arms slowly began to grow hot. He threw him away from himself in a torrent of black and grey feathers, charred hand prints on his bare arms where Abel had grasped at him. He looked down at the terrible marks Abel had left and returned his eyes on Abel once more.
"What the hell kind of angel ARE you?" Uriel wanted to know. He seemed terrified, but fascinated. He rubbed at his arms, wiping clean the damage Abel had done besides some vicious red marks of ruined flesh. "Maybe you're no angel at all. Maybe you're more like me."

Odjit narrowed her eyes when she saw Cain step in. She ground her teeth together in irritation. "Are you her new designated guard dog or something? What happened to not caring about anyone?" She sneered as she roughly yanked her spiked arms away from him. Her eyes flicked to Lilith who was staring at her. A smile spread on the demon's face again as she watched Lilith reach towards her face.
Lilith touched where Odjit had attacked her an felt her skin become hard. It began to spread out from her cheek, her skin turning translucent like her arms and frosting over. The ice formed into the cracks on her skin, bandaging up her wounds like blood clots. She lowered her hand and glanced at Cain before turning her attention back to Odjit.
"You can't hold onto that meaty form for too long, sweet heart." Odjit said snidely as Lilith's face became almost completely iced over, her eyes starting to glow. "But that just makes it more fun, huh? Now, maybe I should deal with you first, while your sister finishes up." Her head turned to Cain oddly and she flexed out her arm. Her other hand moved up and bone like nails formed on her fingers. With a swift move she started to tear skin from her arm, revealing thick bone underneath that was lined with spikes. Along her spine more bone jutted out, into dangerous thorns. When she smiled again her canines were especially long and sharp.
In one move she grabbed Cain's arm, allowing her boned nails to dig in, and twisted it back. "I let you warm up, but now you're just getting me frustrated." She mumbled as she yanked back, with one foot sweeping towards the back of his legs.
When Uriel pushed Abel away, he flew back and rubbed at his neck. His bright eyes studied Uriel when he started to speak again. Something in the way the angel stared at the demon was unnerving. It didn't seem like Abel was in that gaze. "You let them go..." he said slowly, ignoring Uriel's comments. He lowered his hands from his neck and drew closer. "Take your friend and leave them..."

((Hahaa, what's this? I'm posting? No way.))
Cain snarled at Odjit. "Don't make it sound so simple." He growled out, his body still in front of his sister's. "You know it's not that easy to take me out." He crouched lowly, catlike and ready at her sudden movement. He watched unflinching as she removed her skin to reveal the horror that was beneath it. It wasn't his first time seeing her in this way.
What she did next he had not been ready for. It'd been awhile since he'd faught after running for so long. He'd grown soft and lax and had failed to read her movements. He cried out in an inhuman scream as Odjit's claws bit into his arm. Liquid flame flowed from his arm like blood. Screaming again he just managed to escape her sweeping feet, stumbling back. His eyes glowed like hot coals, rage deep within them.
"b***h." He tired to play off with a smirk, but his good humor was gone. He clutched at his arm, tight to his chest and with that inhuman voice again cried out as he launched himself at her face, flames nearly consuming his whole form. And steadily the wound on his arm dripped that fiery blood.
((Psh. What a wimp, Cain.))
Uriel regarded Abel with that same terrifying interest. He didn't heed the angel's warning, he was smiling in that horrible way again. "That's not how this works, angel. Once Odjit gets going... she doesn't stop until it's finished." He clenched his fists and claws sprung from his finger tips, terrible talons. "That's the one thing me and my partner have in common." His blank face warped and cracked until it was no longer anything that could have once been called human. His eyes widened and the whites vanished, swallowed by his amber irises, a slit of black for his pupils.
What had once been Uriel's face bared a smile full of terrible teeth. His body had twisted into something grotesque, nothing possibly human nor animal. It was simply and could only be demon. With a flash of wings and claws he launched himself again at the angel, hooking himself into the angel, tearing at wings, twisting with a whip like tail.
((THERE. HE'S A MONSTER. OKAY. GO.))

((I am so sad...I lost my post... ;[ But that's okay...I'll make this one EVEN BETTER.
And I was excited this morning to see the post! Haha. I'm such a dork.))
Odjit begin to giggle madly as Cain screamed out. She pulled back as he stumbled and her rotten smile spread further on her face, fangs just barely coming over her bottom lip. "You used to be fun to fight. Now it's just like mindless amusement." She lifted a finger to her lips and licked the blood off with her black tongue. "Your blood tastes better than I can remember. It's been so long." She said coyly.
"Oh. Ouch. b***h? Really? Nothing more? I'm insulted. You used to be so creative." When she saw him get ready to launch at her she let out a short laugh and started to shift but he caught onto her arm. She let out an ear-splitting scream and she was yanked down to the ground, fire burning the rotting skin on her arm and sparks hit her face, singing the white skin into dark black.
The whites of her eyes darkened and she yanked at her arm until she started to slash out at him, venom pulsing through her and dripping from her fangs and claws. There was one main reason she was sent out on missions like this. It wasn't her rational, calm posture. It wasn't for her dangerous, strong bones either. It was for the effective venom in her body. Much like a snake or spider's it grabbed hold of the muscles in the body, most importantly though it seized the mind. It controlled what little humanity was left and twisted it to its will.
It worked slowly, but that was what Odjit enjoyed the most...watching them slowly descend. And Lilith was already starting to show more than just physical effects. She was nearly completely iced over, her hair was frosted and her breaths came out like smoke. Her head bobbed slightly, as if she were tired.
When Odjit managed to escape from underneath Cain's flames she stood up and shook her head, flakes of charred skin fluttered away, revealing pearl white jaw and some skull. "You've ever wonder why someone like me is in such a high position? Why they sent me to play with you two, get you back?" She licked her fangs and rubbed it along her tongue playfully, one claw tapping her exposed jaw. "As a human I had an obsession with spiders. The dangerous ones. Exoskeletons." She tapped her jaw more. To her side Lilith winced at every tap, looking annoyed, a strange thing to see on the young woman.
"Incredible creatures. Many have dangerous venom. One bite could kill a grown man in merely minutes. It stops the heart and muscles from moving, blocks specific chemicals from flowing and creating movement to send signals through out the body. Such a small, feeble looking creature could so easily strike fear. It was so powerful." She took a step to Cain, slowly. Her spine grew from its tip and elongated into a bony tail, vertebrae forming into a sharp needle tip. She whipped it behind her and smiled some more.
"Fire is an amazing thing. It burns, it's uncontrollable. But sometimes things that are so small you can't see them...they create more damage." Her nostrils flared. "Can't you smell it? Poison...it smells so sweet...like nectar, doesn't it? If you had come with us we could have avoided all this nonsense. But I actually think I'm going to enjoy seeing you kneel to me. The great and rebellious Cain, and his cold, soulless sister..." She then erupted into a loud laugh.
((I figured that'd be a good weapon to have against Lilith and Cain...haha seeing as how they're beasts!))
Abel meanwhile was watching Uriel with concern. As the demon spoke, his eyes narrowed. He could feel sickness rise in his stomach. He glanced down briefly to see Cain already flaming and attacking Odjit...but Lilith was strangely still, sitting down and staring blankly.
Before he could analyze the scene, Uriel flew at him. His eyes widened and he tried to push back but Uriel attached to him. His heart thudded and he felt fear rise into his chest. Pain burst into his back as Uriel attacked his wings. He pumped them frantically, trying to fight off the attacks. His hands pushed up against what was once the demon's face, and tried to push him away.
He looked down again and saw the ground coming at them faster and faster. His body went cold and his heart stopped. One thing he hated more than height itself, was falling...and not being able to stop. He breathed out, panicky. His blood rushed fast as wind whipped at the two falling.
As the ground was inches away he heard Odjit's wild laughter and saw Uriel's merciless eyes and horrific face. The world seemed to close in and suddenly everything was quiet. The only thing he heard was his heart pumping frighteningly fast. Then it stopped. He could feel the ground coming. Closing his eyes tightly he waited for it to come, his hands still grabbing Uriel's face.
A bright burst of light swallowed the two of them and then expanded with a loud explosion, followed by the comparably quiet sound of the two hitting the ground.
((What happened? Haha...I guess we'll find out! I honestly don't know either, I'm just letting what happens...happen.))

((OMG STUFF. HAPPENING. ALL OVER.
Hahaha, you should feel so special, by the way. I haven't posted to any of Ala's rps in forever either... and now I'm only posting to yours :d... I'm a terrible person. *laughs*))
Cain was viciously pleased at Odjit's own scream as she tumbled to the ground. The fire that was slowly consuming Cain's form leapt and doubled in height and heat with pleasure. He would have been smirking through the flames, his fangs bared together in a smokey grin, but instead his face was contorted with effort. He felt heavier, strange.
Normally he wouldn't have released her. He could have had her there and then, but his body felt so heavy. The flames the surrounded him moved and leapt lazily, still hot and wrathful, but it popped and sizzled instead of roared. He seemed to struggle, his tail thrashing and his head twisting as if to wake himself from a stupor.
"What..." He said angrily, deeply under his breath. He glared at her, looking up. He couldn't get up from all fours. It had been decades since he'd descended this far into his actual form. "What the HELL did you do?" He worked hard to stand, and growling looked back at his sister. "What did you DO?!" He demanded yet again. His flames gave a jump and brief rush of rage.
Odjit gave them both a slow explanation, an explanation the woman should not have had time to give. If Cain had been all himself he would have had her throat, but he was helpless as he was. He shouted a stream of profanities, his mind suddenly growing heavy.
Her final words were what really hurt him. His wounds would heal and he'd be strong again, but his pride, the way she had brought both of them so easily to their knees was what truly wounded him.
"There's no REASON for this!" He shouted, his whole body was trembling with effort. His flames roiled and twisted, grew white hot and blue. Dark smoke ran off him as he worked to get himself free, but it would be no use, and he knew it. He roared in terrible frustration, but then there was a terrible noise that flattened Cain to the ground as somewhere Abel and Uriel hit the earth with a crash.
From where they had fallen dust from rubble and general destruction shrouded the scene. Grey and black feathers and white all drifted with the stillness in the after math of what had occurred. The road was cracked and defeated, a fault line tearing up into the sidewalk, a scar winding through the grass and snow. For awhile nothing strirred, but what the demon that Uriel had become moved slowly from the earth, emerging painfully slow.
The beast's wings were bent and tattered, folded unevenly around himself. One was dragging. His face was scorched and scarred, the prints of hands and fingers burned into every feature of his monstrous face. Something like blood slowly dripped from an open wound.
He made a wounded sound and looked over to his partner. He limped once heavily towards her, but there was no helpless expression on his face, he was merely angry. A long dark tongue licked at his wounded maw.
"Wrap it up." Came his dead pan voice. "We need to get out of here."
((I don't KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. OR WHAT HAPPENED. BUT. URIEL IS PRETTY SCREWED UP APPARENTLY.))

((HAHAHA. YES! I do feel special! I'm just that much more amazing than she is. ;D Haha I didn't even know she did them anymore...then again I haven't spoken to her...in a good year or so...haha. Huh.))
"Is there a reason for anything? Only thing I can think of is for pleasure. We all do things just to please ourselves." Odjit smiled at him as she watched him grow angrier, and more susceptible. Her smile lowered when she first saw the bright light. Her eye flickered over to the side and saw that bright light suddenly grow brighter. She closed her eyes tightly as a burst of wind whipped at her hair and clothes.
Lilith briefly looked up after the crash and watched the dust settle. All she really saw was a blurry image of everything, specks of black covering areas where something should have been. No thoughts crossed her mind, but somewhere deep down she had the sense there should have been something in her mind. Her head rocked back heavily and she looked up at the sky.
Odjit lowered her arm and stared at the scene before her. There wasn't amusement on her face anymore, now there was annoyance. "What the ********." She snarled and moved forward but Uriel was coming towards her. "s**t." She said as she surveyed the damage down to him. Her eye quickly looked at the siblings and back at him.
"Wrap it up?" She repeated like a parrot and slowly anger showed on her face. "I just STARTED! Who the ******** cares if you're a mess? I'm FINE!" She screamed at him but stopped when another figure emerged from the dust. The angel was standing strangely still. His body was covered by a hazy light that seemed especially dim compared to his bright white eyes. His wings were dragging, blood dripped from between areas of the feathers.
She had seen it before, it wasn't any different than others of his kind when they were pushed further than they wanted to be. What she hadn't seen before was the mindless anger in his face, which was scratched and splattered with Uriel's blood. When she looked down at his feet she saw the absence of light, like ribbons, moving around him. Her confusion built and she looked back up. He wasn't any normal angel.
"What the ******** are you..." She breathed out. Abel didn't say anything. He merely stood there, staring at her. "You dumb? Can't speak? What the ******** did you do to him?" When he refused to respond she moved up to him and reached out to grab his face but her wrist was caught by him and he twisted her arm. Her eye widened and she opened her mouth to scream. Light emitted from her mouth and then in between her bones.
"STOP!" Came a strong voice. In the distance Yanmei appeared and was jogging towards them, fear in her eyes. "Let her go!" She yelled at Abel and the angel let go of Odjit who was stumbling backwards, light dimming. Her bones were cracked and decayed in areas and she was breathing ********." Was all the damaged demon had to say.

((DUN DUN DUUUN... I need to go running.... BUT THIS FIRST. BABY.))
Uriel's mangled lips drew over his teeth tight to snarl at his partner. "We NEED to get out of here." He repeated.
Cain roused his head to get a look at Uriel. His eyes widened in what could have only been surprise. The flames on his body jumped and settled low, cracking and popping quietly in the silence. "Messed with something you couldn't HANDLE, eh Uriel?" He growled in a strained voice, just able to bring a faint smirk to his lips.
However, all was quiet when Abel emerged. Uriel straggled away from him, limping heavily. His tail drew around him and what could only be hackles rose along his back. Cain rose his head and then cursed at the terrible sight of Abel approaching.
"What did you DO?" He demanded in a strangely concerned voice. "What did you do to Abel?!" He struggled to get to his feet.
Uriel launched himself at Cain and with a clawed hand pressed at his throat said: "Don't go near." His head jerked around at Odjit's scream and he let out a shout of surprise, losing form to his human self once more, his wings hanging uselessly behind him.
Cain laughed cruelly. "Should have been watching your partner."
Uriel ignored Cain and ran towards his partner when Yanmei appeared and got Abel to release her. He didn't touch her, but moved in front of her, one of his broken wings lifted crookedly to block her from view. "I told you. We NEED to get out of here." He repeated in a harsh voice.
Cain had managed to bring himself to his knees, eyes on Abel. He moved slowly towards his sister, backing up slowly. He felt if he approached Abel now, he wouldn't know who he was.

Odjit narrowed her eyes when Uriel ran to her. She snorted at him. "What the ********? Are you trying to protect me or something? You?" She let out a laugh but winced and rubbed at her bones.
Yanmei held out her hands to Abel, concern written all over her face. "Abel...listen to me...you have to calm down. Just take a deep breath and calm down. Everything will be okay. I'm here... You aren't alone..." As she spoke Abel's face tightened, staring at her strangely. "Say something..."
Abel stepped towards her and leaned his head in as if smelling her. Yanmei leaned back and frowned. "Talen called..." She started up again and then leaped back when Abel went out to grab her. Just barely did he miss her arm. "Don't touch me." She said fearfully.
Lilith started to stand up when Cain moved closer to her. Horns had emerged from her forehead, slowly growing and curling upwards. Her limbs seemed to dangle uselessly as she watched everyone in front of her.
"You're one of them." Abel suddenly said to Yanmei, voice strangely hazy, and alluring. "You're not safe." His white eyes narrowed.
Yanmei watched him carefully, inching backwards. She wasn't going to be able to get him out of this. And that simple fact made her heart hurt. "Abel...I'm not...not anymore..." She tried to get out but Abel jumped at her, wings spreading out. She let out a scream and pulled her arms up as an instinctual defense, knowing it wouldn't protect her.

((Hahah, looong daaaays aaaare looooong. It's true... I know the feeling :/... though, I think yours was a bit more fun than mine. I was just working. You were probably hanging out with awesome people D: ))
Uriel scowled. "It'd be ridiculous for you to die this way, and trust me, he could kill you." He said lowly to Odjit, eyes cold. However, despite the harshness of his words, he remained in front of her.
Cain, hearing Uriel's words, turned his eyes sharply onto Abel and Yanmei. He fought to control his body, and perhaps through his own stubbornness and the fact he'd always been so adept at controlling his free will he was able to bring himself to his feet. It brought a great heaviness to his body, and was a strain on his form that made his flames twist and smolder to nearly nothing at all, his flesh left exposed and raw, his oddly beautiful face licked gently with tendrils of fire. Horns that nearly matched his sister's curled from his tousled head.
"MOVE." He shouted at the young woman, eyes narrowed. His sensitive ears twitched as he heard somewhere feet running at a mad speed towards them.
But then it was too late. Abel was moving towards Mei with the intent to hurt her. Even as Talen came running towards the scene, there was no way he could have moved fast enough.
Cain would never know why he did what he did, maybe it was the look on Talen's face as he charged forward, but how could he have felt such a pity for such an annoying human being? Perhaps it was nothing that drove him to it at all, maybe just the poison coursing through his body. Seconds before Abel could lay his hands on Mei, he spread out his body in front of hers and accepted what blows the touch of that angel he'd slowly grown to trust.

In the second before everything happened, Mei could hear Talen coming and she turned her head, eyes widening. Her eyes opened to scream at him to stop. Then a large impact hit her and she went sailing backwards and fell onto her back. She groaned out in pain and quickly moved to look.
Abel had hit Cain hard and the two of them were on the ground. Abel's hands were pressed against Cain's burning face. The two very different flames combating against each other. The angel moved a hand to the demon's neck and stood up, drawing Cain up with him. He looked at Mei.
"Drop him." Mei demanded nervously and noticed Lilith moving sluggishly towards her brother. By now Lilith had fully grown horns and a long thick black tail. "Lilith stop." But she didn't stop. "LILITH!" She screamed at her and Odjit grabbed the icy woman, holding her back. "********." Mei breathed out and looked back at Cain and Abel. She couldn't help but laugh. Cain and Abel...
"Let him go, Abel..." She said slowly, hands out. "Abel...ABEL!" She yelled in frustration. Tears burned at her eyes. She didn't care about Cain, but if Abel continued like this for much longer...he may be permanently lost.
Odjit leaned in towards Uriel, eyes narrowing in thought. "Get the human...he's the angel's closest friend. If anything will get him to drop Cain, it's him." She said quietly so only he could hear.

((Hahaha... I could see why you would have to change that a million times D: ))
Cain, as he'd gone down, shouted in an unearthly voice at the contact with the angel. He writhed beneath him, his flames kicking up ten fold, though they did not seem to touch Abel at all. The demon was nothing but flame and a powerful light that seemed to consume him, his form was all but lost in the chaos. As he was picked up by his neck his cry of pain was cut short. His flames went so low as to reveal what all lay beneath, nothing but a fragile body, charred like wood from the fire, a delicate tail, and Lilith's same graceful horns. His eyes, still open, were full of Abel's terrible light.
When Mei demanded Abel drop him, Cain reached with weak fingers to pull at the angel's fingers. His fingers like black twigs burned and smoked at the contact and he let them fall limp to his sides again.
Talen was horrified at the scene. He'd stopped half way there, a look of pure terror on his face. "Abel..." He said quietly, falling a step forward. "Abel!" He shouted, voice cracking. He began a numb run towards Mei that caused him to stumble, and even as he fell he picked himself up again to get to her.
Uriel watched as Talen came closer and twitched his eyes at Odjit. He spared her no word and did as she instructed. Even with the heavy damage that had been done he moved quickly. Talen would have never had a chance. The demon had him in his grasp before he could have ever hoped to get to Mei, much less Abel. The demon drew a grotesquely clawed arm across Talen's neck and fixed his cold eyes on ********!" Talen shouted in a low voice, the rage apparent on his face. He twitsted, but stopped as Uriel pulled his claws tight against his throat drawing a line of blood. He gave a tiny gasp of pain.
"Don't give me a reason to hurt you." Is all he said. "Abel." He was still looking at the angel. "Let Cain go."
Talen too looked to Abel. "Please. This isn't you. Abel!" He shouted, expression both concerned and terrified. "Please let him go! ABEL!"

Mei jumped when Uriel grabbed Talen, her eyes flashed angrily and she let out a low growl, like that of one of her dogs. "Let him go, you little ********." She said darkly. The air around her thickened and she clenched her fists. She no longer cared about Abel and Cain, she just wanted Talen out of this.
Abel watched them strangely, still holding Cain. It was only when blood was drawn did his demeanor change. He dropped Cain instantly and started for Uriel. Mei screamed at Abel, knowing if anything, Talen would be caught in between the two.
Something grabbed the angel from behind and dragged him off his feet. Abel screamed out angrily, words incoherent. Gabriel was grappling him from behind, using all his force to hold the angry angel back. Mei met the dark man's gaze and relief swept over her. Tears filled her eyes and she felt her knees weaken.
"Abel, stop this. If you hurt the demon, he'll hurt Talen, kill him even." We're out numbered." He said in a calm voice, despite the situation. His dark blue eyes glowed eerily, yet relaxingly, as if one just looked at them they'd be at peace. Abel's fighting slowed down and his chest rose and collapsed at a rapid rate. The angel yelled out at Uriel again, speaking in a strange language unlike any known.
"All they want are Lilith and Cain." Gabriel said, still holding Abel from attacking anyone. "They know if they hurt Talen, they won't just get away with a few scrapes." As he said this he was staring directly at Odjit, whose pleased smile fell. She was obviously thinking of a different plan, which now was getting foiled.
"Uriel, get Cain." Odjit said begrudgingly and tugged Lilith upright.
Abel's eyes were strained on Talen and Uriel, wide and upset. Gabriel said something in a whisper to him and he noticeably loosened. Gabriel looked up at Odjit with a threatening gaze. "Take them, but don't you come back here. If you try to get to any of them...you'll have all of on top of you quicker than you think."
Odjit giggled nervously. "Who'd want these filthy things anyways? Even IF it makes that angel worth while." She sneered at them and started pulling Lilith away.

((YEAH. DATS RIGHT, ABEL. Be good D:< ))
Uriel didn't even spare Mei a look. His eyes were still sharply on Abel's face, his grip tight on Talen. Talen only shook his head at Mei, face tight with a scowl and his head drawn back hard, neck taut against the claws of the demon's dangerous claws.
Uriel was watching Abel warily, gauging his reaction. It quickly seemed that Odjit had been right, Abel had little interest in Cain now that this pathetic human was in his grasp. He released Cain quickly and he fell to the earth limply, unmoving. Ash stirred around his form and fell. His skin was grey and sickly and peeling. Uriel had little time to wonder about the condition that Cain might have been in, Abel was starting in on him.
"I have what you want now, don't I you b*****d?" He growled, a terrible snarling smile stretching from ear to ear. "You angel? But can't be." He gave a growling laugh and then watched with that same sardonic grin on his face as the angel was lifted from behind.
"Long time, no see, Gabriel." Uriel remarked, eyes cold where they had once been hot with the thought of a second battle to come. Even though he felt he would fall at Abel's hands, the thought of facing him again had brought him a terrible wild pleasure.
"Gabe!" Talen cried out and twisted in Uriel's grip.
"Be still." The demon commanded and then made an ugly face at Gabriel's words to him. He hissed back in the same language, but whereas Gabriel made it sound so lovely, Uriel made it sound terrible and barking. Then he frowned at his next words, perhaps disappointed.
"Seems you're off the hook, human." He shoved him away from himself. Talen fell hard to the earth, catching himself painfully with his hands and knees.
"Son of a-" Talen muttered.
Uriel twitched a smirk at him and moved around him to Cain's ruined form. He picked him up as if he weighed nothing by his hair and examined him with a critical amber eye. "Seems as if your angel did my job for me." He shook Cain and more ash stirred and fell around him. "Perhaps he won't make it to hell after all... and that had always been his wish. Hasn't it, Cain?" He smirked and returned to his partner. "We got what we came for." He said of them. "Perhaps we won't meet again here..." He looked hard at Mei. "Or perhaps... who knows? Life is just so unpredictable like that."
Shaking out his wounded wings, he moved after Odjit into a sudden wave of hazy heat, both demons vanishing to where they once came.
