My Friend played me radio/video, not one of there best songs in my opinion now. But i fell in love with it straight away, it just so happened that my Brother's best friend loved them. He had every Album song, well, released in the UK. So he put it on our iPod, and I have been listening to them ever since. <33

My first memory was when BYOB came out. I didn't even know who System of a Down was. After that I starting acquiring there CDs any way possible. The first one I got was toxicity and I remembered Toxicity and Chop Suey from that CD. After that I just started getting the rest of the CDs. (I know you didn't ask for a "life story" but you got one any way).

I sure do, I borrowed a dirty burnt copy of Toxicity off a friend, and almost all of the songs on it were dodge versions that had clearly been downloaded, I think only Forest and Aerials were the actual album versions. Although in the end, I preferred the dirty downloaded version of Prison Song to the album one. Subsequently, this was the afternoon I discovered that listening to music deafeningly loud was a heap more fun then quiet. xD

I remember when I first listened to SOAD. I was in my bed, waking up and my radio was on a rock station called C101 and suddenly B.Y.O.B. came on. I liked it.

Well seeing that I was into things like poser rock I just never heard of them until one morning I was watching MTV and it came on the soldiers foot steps then this totally kick a** guitarist which I found out the same day was Darron just totally turned my brains to mush. I just feel in love with their political ways and new sound. Which they then turned my life in a different direction were I now am more involved at my schools with political debates in the class rooms where the sensationilized teachers just think that their way is the only right way. And that America is the victim of the Middle East and that 9/11 was commited because they hate that were free. Not that we've been screwing with the Middle East for too many years and that they finally hit us where it hurt. And im not saying death is good but with that action I can see people around me finally opening their eyes to Americas injustice so I say stop the wars and finaly bring peace to this world. Because I dont want to see this world destroy itself I want to see a new breed of human who can throw away all the selfish hate and bring love to our mother Earth. heart

I believe my first System of a Down song was Aerials, but I didn't know who they were then, I just heard it on the radio. I think the song that got me into them was actually Bounce, because I thought it was the funniest thing in the world, so I forced my dad to burn the whole CD for me.
