Blackthorn nodded, calming down now that someone else knew of his fears. At least if he died now, someone would be able to get to Bracken-rah.. That was what mattered.
"Just make sure to tell the Chief.. if something happens, ok?" He needed to be sure. He trusted Badassi, he and Althea were perhaps the only two he'd consider telling. Anyone else would likely brand him as mad, or a troublemaker.
Nodding faintly he allowed himself to relax a little, moving alongside Badassi as they herded the pale foursome along behind the Captain and the rest, the weary band slowly gathering the surviving rabbits from the other two groups.

Harebell was nowhere in sight. The only two rabbits who knew where she was were now dead, and no one else had known of her plan. With her well hidden hole and the compost hiding her scent, she was practically invisible. She would come out later, for certain, but not for a while. She had driven herself to paranoia from all the barking and the reak of blood and the continuous gunshots. She'd make it home, a little later than the others and drenched in fear, but she'll finish her hole out onto the other side of the fence when she's good and ready. Now wasn't that time.
