"I can feel every grain of sand as if it were part of me. and out here, it grabs me, and draws me in, flows around me like a never ending fountain of pure power." He explained, never once opening his eyes, not caring who or what heard him. The desert felt good. It wasn't like the dunes, where he simply felt comforted. It wasn't like his oasis where he could rest. It felt like a pure ocean of power, and he was the only person in it.
