The next day was suddenly brought onto the Nocts of the manor as a loud smack echos the room of Lance as he punches Devri, once again, hard in the face. Who knew what the two of them did to set things off this time, but it got Lance quite angry. Lance had just woken up not too long ago, but already he was in the mood to kick Devri's a** for whatever stunt he pulled this time.

"Ow ow ow ow! Shiiit man!" Devri hissed and held his face, "All I damn well said was the least Akita could have done was come back and make us a final breakfast!" He clenched his fist as he glares at his brother. Even he knew hitting him back would just make matter worse.
Lucus huffed at the two for causing such a commotion first thing in the morning, "Seriously you two! Devri, Akita went out to find Kain last night, she hasn't seen him in who knows how long and we don't know what happened! You can't expect her to rush back to feed your hole! And Lance! Stop beating your brother around! You'll give him more brain damage then he already has!"

Lance still held his hands into tight fists until his nails dug into the palm of his hand. "That actually sounds like a good idea. I'll beat some sense into this stupid fuzzball until he's handicapped." Devri might not have meant harm with what he said, but he sure said it in such a rude way that made him angry. It seemed as if Devri were demanding Akita to stay and serve them 'till she fell over dead from overexerting herself. Even Lucus who couldnt seem to let her go. Lance at least understood Akita. He had Zeki, but he would only call upon her when her help was needed. Lance was very well capable enough to fend for himself, and if either of the two come near Zeki to demand her assistant, Lance would jump into the fray and defend her.

Devri gave his brother a deep growl, "Oh you'd like it if I was handicapped wouldn't you? You'd get eeeeeeverything to yourself!" Devri stood up and made his way to the door to go clean up his face. He'd gotten so used to Akita being around since he'd grown up with her household services, it'd be a change that would take some getting used to. "How bout you go get laid. Maybe you won't be such a jackass after that!" He made his way out the door finally making sure to slap it hard behind him as he left.
Lucus shook his head. "I admit not having Akita around will be hard for awhile but.. She's found a real place in life now and I won't pull her away from that. Lance if you even dare follow after your brother you will see yourself grounded through Christmas and any gifts to you incinerated."

"I'm not going to follow that little weasel. At least I have a goal in life that I will follow until the end." Thankful that Devri left finally, Lance picks up what books were tossed in the tiny argument and set them up each alphabetically on his bookshelf. "I do not need you in my room for supervision any longer, father, seeing as Devri is no longer in my presence." Looking around the rest of his room Lance decided he should reorganize everything to his new liking. Aside from reading, he loved to sort and keep everything in place. He just had to wait for Lucus to leave before he felt more calmed down and comfortable enough to do so. "I fear not for losing my presents... I only wish to give."

Lucus shook his head as Lance shelved the books, "You're a giver ey? Then give by NOT giving me a headache." With that Lucus turned to leave his sons room, he had to go find Vemp to give her a little something anyways and he'd rather not waste time bickering with either of his sons for petty reasons. Making his way into the hallway he pondered for a minute as to where Vemp would be.
Getting cozy beneath the blankets on the bed Akita purred happily. Both happy for being at Kain's side and for being inside and at last out of the cold after the chill she'd gotten going to find Kain. Her eyes telling her to rest after everything but her mind begged to differ, there was too much running through it to even allow her a moment of sleep.

As Lucus wandered the hall in search of Vempyremon, or where he thought she would be, Aristocramon would think it to be fun to sneak up behind Lucus and jump on his back with an odd sort of laughter. Almost like a witch's cackle. Within the creepy giggle, Aristocramon shouts, "Jolly Christmas!" and hands Lucus a small gift box. Covered in green wrapping paper and gold ribbon. Aristocramon's colors. "If you're looking for Vempyremon, she's by the fireplace."
Although, Kain should have been tired, the thrill of it still being winter time excited him. He leaned over and put a tight arm around Akita and gave her a sort of licking kiss on her neck in his own way to be 'affectionate'. "Frohe Weihnachten!" Meaning, 'Merry Christmas' in German; of course, anything he said was just babble to anyone who didnt know. "I hope zhat Mizz Akita enjoyed her 'gift'?"

Lucus' fur stood on end, not expecting his brother-in-law to pop up out of nowhere, let alone from behind. "Aristocramon!" he quickly turned and took a hold of the small gift box, "Man, you scared me.. Thank you though." He shook the box a bit wondering what he could have been given. "Ah, thank you for the clue as to her location. I have something for you but you will revive it a little later. As for now I must find my mate." He gave him a quick bow before he hurried off to find Vempyremon.
Akita couldn't help but let out a soft giggle at Kain's "affectionate" licking kiss. Not exactly knowing what he said in German she responded based on the day of the year, "Merry Christmas Kain." Cuddling close to Kain she gave a warm smile. "I did. I did indeed enjoy my gift." She blushed softly thinking about the possible results of her 'gift'. Most would be careful with such a matter but her.. she wanted it. "It will be an even more special gift, if we're given a little something else from this."

Aristocramon hardly had time to wave Lucus off before he disappeared into the depths of the hallway to find Vempyremon, but he waved anyway. He was a giver, even if it were the most unexpected of gifts...but at times, he was known to spoil his victims with a highly valuable object; whether it be valuable to any and all or valuable to victim of the gift. Either way, Aristocramon was happy and happily trotted off to find his next prey before the day grew tired.
"Now...Dont expect too much of me." Despite Kain's overly attractive looks, which he was far too proud of on some occasions, he never really had a successful target such as Akita. Hard to think that someone like him at that age was still a virgin...before this. Now he had something to rub into his brother's face whenever he finally decides to arrive in this little-bit Nocturna town. "I vould feel bad if nozhing happend, because zhen I am zhe one to blame." Kain couldnt help but smile some knowing that nothing could go wrong, cocky and sure of his actions. It couldnt be that bad. He was mostly hoping that he didnt hurt the poor girl.

Approaching the room with the fireplace in it Lucus peered around for his mate "Dearest..?" He knew she couldn't be too hard to find in here but who knows if she'd have left by that point? Walking further into the room his eyes scanned the area for her.
Akita gave Kain a playful smile and ran a hand softly along his jawline until she could stroke his goatee. "Don't feel bad if nothing happens, I won't blame you. It's just not always something that happens on the first time right?" Unlike Kain, the man Akita had been with in her naive days.. the man who had fowled her body had forced her to do things. Filling her head with thoughts of how that was how it was supposed to be. She had learned otherwise after the fact. Now to have had a chance to experience what it should have been, she fully understood.

Much like Aristocramon did, Vempyremon, hiding against the wall of the entrance to the room out of Lucus's sight, jumps at Lucus from behind with arms wrapping around his neck and shoulders, hardly even knowing that Aristocramon did the same thing to him not too long ago. Brothers and sisters DO think alike. Though, Vempyremon keeps herself on Lucus's back almost asking for a piggy back right. She had been near the fireplace for quite some time to find some time to relax away from Devri and Lance's bitching at one another. It helped a little. Maybe a little too obvious with her clinging on Lucus now.
It was unusual for Kain to actually let someone pet his chin hair, but then again, it felt (to him) like they were petting a sensitive spot on a dog's back, strong enough to start kicking his leg. It wasnt THAT bad to where Kain would start kicking his leg, but it did give him goosebumps. "Ich weiß..." Kain had no opinion; he wasnt too worried, as he felt his best during the colder days. Their relationship was just so new, and there was no real need to rush. "...You vill be telling Lucus?"

Lucus' fur once again stood on end "Everywhere I go today! Everywhere!!" Staggering he spun around almost falling over, Vemp though of course was latched to his back which was what threw him even more off balance. "Veeeeemp! Just don't start humping my back alright!" He laugh as he regained his balance before be fell over or continued to stumble around the room.
Akita closed her eyes for a moment and nodded. "I told him already.. That once I found a mate my time would no longer be dedicated to him. My mate and possible family would need my time more than he. Also, it'd be quite hard to run around at his beck and call pregnant." Wiggling her way a bit closer to the warmth of Kain she kept her eyes closed. She giggled softly, "You didn't jump when I touched your goatee."

Quickly, Vempyremon jumped off of Lucus's back before she was dragged down with his stumbling, or fell off of him and tripped him...or she would have just been tempted to bring him down with her anyway, if she fell. She didnt even know what he was there for, but seemingly she looked playful. "Maybe I'll get a line to build up over here to "Hump-A-Lucus's-Back-Today"."
"Nein. I mean you vill tell him now? He must need an update. Not zhat I care; I just dont vant him calling on you to take you avay from my company." Yeah, Kain still didnt like Lucus. Not just because of wanting to be dominant over him, but he also thought he could make a better ruler than that young fuzzball. The thought made Kain roll his eyes to himself and squeeze his other arm underneath Akita to join underneath with the other that's wrapped around her shoulders, then laying a playful 'bitey' nibble on Akita's shoulder*

Lucus finally completely balanced himself and grinned at Vemp's comment, "I'd much rather you didn't. I'd prefer to keep myself reserved for you. Wouldn't you like that more that having everyone hump my back?" Lucks laughed, "Anyways..." Shifting through his pocket, hoping it was still in tact after being jumped twice he pulled out a studded leather collar with a golden bat charm on it. "I apologize. I didn't have the time to wrap it this morning but... Merry Christmas love."
Akita opened her eyes and nodded, "I suppose it would only be fair to tell him I have found my companionship with you." Hearing that Kain didn't want her out of his company made her feel over-joyed. The playful nibbling on her shoulder made Akita laugh softly, "Kaaain~ That tickles silly! Have you missed me that much while you were out in the woods~?"

"Oh!" Almost surprised by the gift, Vempyremon jumps at the sight of it as if it were unexpected, even though it was Christmas. She didnt have anything on her wishlist to expect. But she did need a new collar, for the one she had on now was too plain and not nearly as beautiful-looking at that. "Oh, it's just beautiful. I mean...of course you wouldnt have time to wrap it...Dealing with Devri and Lance 'n all." Instead of being able to jump on Lucus from behind this time, Vempyremon jumps on Lucus from the front to give him a tight hug. "I love it! I too have something for you. Aristocramon was to give you the other half." Vempyremon didnt have any pockets to keep it in, so she set it on top of the fireplace in the mean time. She runs over to get it and brings it back for Lucus to open. Like Aristocramon's, her present is wrapped with her own theme. Red wrapping paper with black ribbon. "You should open them both at the same time."
