...Injured with pain and sadness, the you that cannot be healed Shoulder the burden of the past that cannot be erased; don't throw away your will to live...[ X ][ O ]Blossom[ O ][ X ] →Blossom yawned, raising her arms high above her head and straightening her legs to stretch. When the little cricks had finally gone away in her joints, Blossom sighed and fell limp, staring out the window. She heard birds chirping outside, and she casually cast her eyes in that direction, attracted by the noise.
With one good look at the sky, Blossom realized something quite important. Well, two things.
One: It's easily mid-morning. Two: Wasn't I supposed to work today?
Blossom startled into an upright position on the mattress, eyes widening. Her hair was a mess, but there wasn't any time to comb it; she had to hurry to work! She would have woken up on time, she really would have, but she had slept peacefully for once--that nightmare hadn't even come back--and perhaps all her exhaustion had caught up to her, because she hadn't even awoken when the rooster crowed, as she typically did.
"Gotta hurry!" Blossom cried out, leaping from the bed. She landed right on her feet, wobbling from the sudden balance change, then hurried to dress. "Crap, crap!" There wasn't any time to comb her hair or to find her uniform; her costume was sitting on the chair, and the bandanna would hide her bedhead quite well... Blossom hurried through dressing herself, taking a few seconds to chew on a sprig of mint in the kitchen to freshen up her breath before running right out the door.
I've been late too much lately, I need to work on that, Blossom thought as she sprinted down the street. There wasn't even any time to wonder about how to fix waking up too late when her only alarm was her neighbor's rooster, she had to get busy running faster!
Blossom skidded to a halt in front of the cafe and darted in, trying not to wonder what exactly was happening as Mel screamed and stomped around in a rather stained dress. The little brunette looked around helplessly, then rushed over to Lyre. "I-I'm sorry I'm late, I slept in...!" she cried out, looking over to the kitchen. "Has... Has Kris even noticed that I was late? Is he even here right now?"← You'd better forget everything. Remember. . . your different Life?XXX You'd better forget everything. It seems that a lot can happen when you go to talk to someone...you get a person thrown through a window, then...forced kissing? That was odd, yet Ziaram ignored it...though the one person getting nagered since some tea got spilt on her dress...Ziaram could tell that would end badly, and what was worse...Joshua tried to help, yet only made it worse, so he got dragged away, and once she came back, Ziaram figured he would not try anything, except keep a bit of distance. "Why do I have a feeling this day can get worse?"

The hawk wasn't exactly the most pleased with everything she was hearing. Her ears weren't as keen as her wolf form's, but she be damned if she couldn't hear all that chaos going on! Ed was still sitting on that roof, preening away at her feathers the way birds were supposed to, and yet she was unable to do that in peace. A bunch of shouting and splintering and crackling was ringing in her ears. All from that cafe!
Well, that clinched it. Ed was definitely not going in there. If she wanted to deal with any sort of mess at all, it would have to be with devils and evildoers, not with fools and klutzes. And deus ex machinas. The bird clacked her beak agitatedly and decided now was a good time to practice flying.
She spanned her wings, blinking curiously at the sharp features of her surroundings once more, and practiced several flap sequences while on the roof. Ed had managed thus far to hop from roof to roof. But at this rate, she wouldn't stand up to any aerial combat, let alone laguz. The hawk hopped off the roof and flapped vigorously onto the cafe roof. She paused, hopped in a circle to look down at the streets, then turned around again and waddled off to continue her routine.
Ed started to consider just going back to her natural form or something. This was difficult.

Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~Ninian couldn't help but smile and laugh even with the chaos of someone getting thrown, tempers flaring, and who knew what else going on. Though the reason for her laughter was her son. After all those years and so many birthdays, Roy still loved chocolate cake, complete with lots and lots of icing. And in a matter of seconds, the cake was completely gone, only the crumbs and icing remnants on his face and fork evidence that it had even existed in the first place. At least he'd learned to use a fork so the cake wasn't completely covering his face.
Some things never change, she thought, smiling.
"U-uhm... hi..." someone said.
Ninian looked up. Someone else she didn't know--or didn't remember, a part of her added--approached their table, smiling nervously. For some reason, he looked familiar to the dancer.
"Hello," she said, smiling at him. "May I ask, who are you?" I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

Shuddering, Ziaram looked behind him, hearing a voice behind him, then his eyes went dark. A...DRAGON?! OH GOD! Stumbling back from what he saw, he then recovered, for he will not give up. He needed to become stronger, so he would not let Shento down, and he then realized no one else was doing nothing. What the hell? There is a dragon in the room...filling it up, and nothing? After realizing that he just said nothing.

I've been dreaming for so long... ... To find a meaning, to understand... • ◄AKIHI► • ————————————
Akihi blinked. So far, so good... There was no "get away from me" or a cold shoulder. In fact, someone actually responded, asking for his name! "Ah... I-I'm Akihi. Akihi Kaua..." He replied, though his full name was stated in a softer, more hesitant voice. It was a habit to introduce himself with his full name.
The last thing he needed, however, was attention because he was related to Alihi or Amara. He didn't want any pity... "A-and you are?" The mage asked softly and nervously. He looked to the others, trying to show that he wasn't just speaking to Ninian when he asked the question. The more people he knew, the better... right?

Aruna watched the dame knight double take when she spoke. This was the normal reaction to the scaled woman. She was use to it by now. That’s what she preferred to think anyway. At least there wasn’t a rude comment directed to the naga female afterwards. Some humans can be so inconsiderate at times. “ I'll have ten of your popular desserts, one of each, to go. I'm planning on delivering the pastries to an injured member of ours. But in the meantime, I think I'll have cinnamon rolls and mocha.” “ I order'd an espresso earli'r. Heh, musta not been loud 'nough. Di'n't sleep at all las' night...” The red-headed waitress memorized the large order. Writing it down would have taken too much time. With the café as busy as it is, she didn’t have time to waste. Then suddenly she felt a tingling sensation start where her orange-red scales became tanned skin and ran up the center of her back. Aruna’s face flushed lightly as Ganon’s tail touched the sensitive area around the nagini’s waist.“ Hey, Aruna, can you get me a glass and a pitcher of water?” She could only nod in response.
Quickly, Aruna slithered to the kitchen. On her way, she grabbed two large trays. “Ten assorted cakes to go and some cinnamon rolls for here,” she reminded herself. The saloon themed hostess plucked freshly baked pastries from their pan and placed them in a box. Next she fetched a plate with two medium-sized cinnamon rolls on it. Placing both the box and plate on the first tray, Aruna moved toward the bar.
As she entered the dining room, there was chaos. Hatmon was passionately kissing Loch, a café regular. A tenant she vaguely remembered living in an upstairs room was snogging Hatmon. Wait a minute... There were two Hatmons? This seemed oddly familiar...
But she digressed. Customers and Ganon were waiting for her. Aruna set the trays down in order to pour the drinks and turn on the sink. While her hands were busy filling the specialized coffee orders, the tip of her serpentine tail wrapped around the handle of a pitcher. She lifted the pitcher under the flowing sink water until it was two-thirds of the way full then placed it down. The nagini then set the finished mocha, espresso, and pitcher of water along with a glass on the second tray. Sliding the trays on her palms, Aruna carefully balanced them.
She traveled backed to Isadora and Leon’s table, dodging any obstacles(be it angry visitors marching out, masked men getting justice, or managers locking lips) in her path. “What an eventful day,” she chuckled softly as she laid the trays on an empty table nearby. First the waitress turned to Leon and placed the espresso in front of him. “I hope this wakes you up some.” Next she took the mocha and the plate of cinnamon rolls then set them on the table for Isadora. Finally, Aruna gave the box of cakes to the lady knight. “That should be everything. Enjoy~”
Now to deliver the reptilian bard’s water. “Here you are, Ganon,” the scaled woman said as she held out the pitch of water in one hand and the glass in the other.

Fa had ignored the complete situation that had happened and seen that Aruna had been carrying some very tasty like cinnamon rolls. Fa had gotten up from her seat and tapped Aruna's scaly thigh. "Miss Aruna can Fa have a cinnamon roll? Puuuhhhhh leeassse?" Fa asked as she pulled her hands back and clasped them together and gave her most innocent look that she was taught by Miss Sue. Fa always caught miss Sue using this on her older brother Roy.

"Anytime I can do to help," Isadora replied. "Although, I'm not sure what Sain is doing so lately. I've heard that Rath had sent him on a mission to Estarcia around the Guildaversary, but Sain had never come back. Knowing him, I bet he's wooing the ladies in Estarcia."
She then heard another voice. Turning around, she saw it was Aruna setting down the orders. Isadora smiled. "It certainly is an eventful day."
Never would she see something random such as someone throwing out the window or two people making out. Although it was her job to keep the order in peace, it seemed that this was a normal stunt to them. Isadora thanked Aruna and picked up one of the cinnamon rolls. She took a bite before sipping her mocha.
The crew were right. Those pastries WERE delicious. And the mocha, it was splendid. Maybe she would come back if she ever had a craved to eat. Isadora looked back at Leon and noticed that he was tired. Did he also get something to eat?
"Leon, did you have breakfast?" The paladin asked. "If you haven't, you can have my other half. One is good enough for me."

→→→→→→The hands I'd kept clean→→→→→→Now look dirty→→→→→→Before I can doubt my memories→→→→→→My memories are doubting me...Annis had been sitting in a tree for a little while, watching people pass and go about their business while she waited for herself to calm down after the sudden conversation with the Hawk King. Yeah, he wants me to work for him, but... ********, did he have to go about it like that? And bringing up that issue, was that even necessary? Treating me like some sort of common criminal...
"I suppose I am... considering some of those contracts involved less-than-savory requests..." Annis mused under her breath. She plucked a leaf off of the tree she was reclined against, balanced neatly on a thick branch, and twirled it between her fingers. "But it's not like I go killing people for no reason. Most of those missions are taking down bandits or taking back lost or stolen possessions... right? That's what they all told me."
Annis mused for a few minutes. "And I guess if I worked for the Hawk King, it'd all be legal, whether or not I had to gather intel or go on an assassination run..." She crossed her legs story-circle-style and rested her elbows on her knees, putting her chin against her fists. The branch wobbled, but she spread her wings to help balance her weight perfectly. The leaves waved with the wind, hiding her from view. She watched a man and woman walk past, carrying a basket with fresh produce in it, then turned her eyes down the street. Her sensitive ears easily picked up on shouting from within the cafe, and her eyebrows lifted. Annis hopped right off of the branch, wings flapping hard to keep her aloft, then moved towards the cafe she'd left.
"I don't have to see Tibarn until three, I'm ******** if I don't, so I'm just going in to investigate," she rationalized with herself as she landed before the cafe less than a minute later. "Poke head in, see what's going on, and leave. I still need to clean, any...way...?"
Annis could only stare, dumbfounded, at first. There were plenty more people in the cafe now than there were earlier, when Annis had left. There was some draconian lady getting rather pissed and an unfamiliar man looking like he was about to pass out right on the floor, but her green eyes were focusing more on the sight of Hatmon swapping spit with Loch, while another Hatmon tried to break apart herself(?) and the grey-winged heron.
The raven stood in silence for a few moments at the doorway, the wind from outside stirring her hair and the feathers of her wings. A faint look of indignation crossed over her expression, focused directly at the woman with her mouth all over Loch's for the next minute or so. Then, almost visibly re-gathering her senses, Annis strode right over to the mess of Hatmon, her identical twin sister, and Loch. Without speaking, she wrapped her hands around the doppleganger's upper arm and pulled her away from the blonde. "Honestly. Have some decency," Annis murmured. She leaned down to help Loch to his feet.
"You all right, Ladykiller?" Annis asked as a tiny, wry smile appeared on her face. She straightened out his jacket and studied him for a moment. "I figure you didn't come here to make out with... whoever that is, so... you came for cake?" I ain't givin' in, no matter how hard th' fight before me looks t' be!
>{Leon}< Leon was at first puzzled by the Paladin's gesture, but he took her generosity. On top of hardly sleeping, he'd forgotten to eat this morning, or rather, he didn't have time. Suiting up for the Morning Watch left hardly any time for thought, and making Anri battle-ready now seemed of the utmost importance.
Staring at the cinnamon roll made him want to snatch it quickly, but he had his manners and his honor. He wasn't going to look greedy. "Ah, Milady... Sure, I'll be havin' that if yer offerin'."
When he took the sweet bit of breakfast, he became so indulged in it and the espresso that was brought to him that he hadn't noticed the disorderly conduct by the shapeshifter and the heron. >{Watch Lieutenant}< If ya just bel'eve, then... ev'n if th' world be torn asunder, vict'ry will be yers to hold!

Seeing the dragon was intimidating enough, yet once its jaws opened, and rank breath came out Ziaram could tell he was not safe...moving quick enough to avoid the teeth, he crashed back into a table, of course hurting the wound on his shoulder that was supposedly healed. "Dang...why is this happening here?" Staring at the apparation of the dragon, yet still wondering why no one else was going at it...clearly something was amiss...wait could it be that this was a dragon from Impersus he was seeing?

Now I'm stuck here But I don't belong here ~Ninian~Ninian's smile faltered only slightly when the familiar looking stranger--was he a mage?--gave his name. Kaua? Where have I heard that--oh! Alihi's last name is Kaua! Is he her brother?
"Pleased to meet you, Akihi," she said, still smiling. "I am called Ninian."
I'm sure he has enough on his mind right now, especially if he's related to Alihi. I can't remind him of Amara. He looks like he's about to run away as it is.
"You're welcome to join us if you wish."
She turned to Roy, intending to introduce her son to Akihi. "Roy--"
CRASH.
The sound of something shattering on the floor made her jump, head whipping around to find the source of the noise. On the far side of the cafe, someone she didn't know had fallen backwards onto a table, everything on it knocked to the floor.
"Roy, who is that man?" she asked instead. "And whatever is the matter with him? Oh, and this is Akihi," she added, gesturing towards the mage. "Akihi, this is my son, Roy." I wanna be where you are Maybe I'm not so far from home

So the lieutenant did skip his breakfast. It was very common for the knight to skip breakfast when having morning duties. Even herself whenever she had early morning duties. She sometimes remembered Lowen commenting her of how thin she was whenever he saw her. It brought back memories.
Noticed that she had finished her meal and it was time to go, Isadora got up from her seat. "Well, I must be going. I have duties to attend to and they need to be finish."
She picked up her package of cakes and turned around. But before she left, Isadora turned her head around and said. "I think I'm available in the afternoon. I don't have much work today unless emergency comes. So if you want to train swords, I can meet you at the courtyard of the castle. Just inform the guard to let me know if you want to train."
Isadora then turned and walked out the club. The scent of the cakes somehow made the paladin tempted to open it and taste them. However, she restrained herself from it. It wouldn't be nice to give the injured person ruined cakes.
