Actually, I really dug the ol' shorts on MTV's Liquid Television. I found out the guy that created it did it because he was frustrated from working on Rugrats.

That in itself is Painfully Funny. But in truth I havn't seen a single episode of the Anime, just clips as they compared the anime to the movie on Space.

I just learnt something to. What you learn from other's, I gain by figuring it out. As I did for the Japanimation/Animation thing... But seriously, glad I could help.

Someone posted this in the ABG last week.. looks sweet as: Thunder Foot This very well may belong in the Media area of the Guild... but since its getting no action, I'm posting this here. Everyone has seen Ong Bak starring Tony Jaa right? This is a clip of another of his movies called "Tom Yum Goong". Insane Martial tricks, and choreography. Its Jaa vs. Lateef... who is a Capoeirista. Awesome frikken clip! I saw it on another forum, and figured I should share it with you guys. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8514518157668120764&q=capoeira+fight And anyone looking for more info on the movie, can check here... www.tomyumgoongmovie.com

Not very impressive though, and that's coming from someone who loved Ong bak. The movie Tom Yum Goong, where Tony goes on a quest (again) for elephants! (...) From what I've seen of the movie, it's more of the same? The flying knee in mid-air is there too. Most of the things you saw in Ong bak technique wise are back here again. Well it's not stopping me from going to see it though. mrgreen I just hope Tony isn't a one trick pony. Marty Nozz Mas Oyama was a hell of a karate man. I'll look that up. http://www.kfccinema.com/reviews/kungfu/fighterwind/fighterwind.htmlI'd give you the official site, but it went offline? www.fighter2004.co.kr If you can find, it sincerly reccomend it. The action doesn't pick up untill the second half of the film, but when it does... oh man smile .

Marty Nozz Dark. That clip made my entire freakin' week. xd mrgreen tell me about it! I read thru the blurb on the official site and it went on about some wierd esoteric muay thai style based on elephant movements, grabbing, smashing and stamping and things.. it'll be interesting to see if there's any appreciable difference between his style in this film and Ong Bak. And whereas Ong Bak was all thai, most of the badies in this will be from other arts.. like capoira. There's also a four minute no cut action scene... sounds badass biggrin

I am proud to say that I recieved a 3 disc dvd set with over 14, yes 14 hours of Martial art's. Ranging from Bruce lee's Fist of Furry along with two different bio's of his life, to movies such as the original street fighter along with the Return of the street fighter, and one I've never heard of, Sister street fighter. Then the final disc seems to have more to do with ninja's and wars, but still promises to be full of martial art madness. . . With this and my quesadia maker, I'm one happy couch potato.

"Tom Yum Goong" and "Fighter of the Wind" are now mine, MINE!!!!! whee whee whee
GOD, I love Chinatown Imports!!!!! heart
Tom Yum Goong doesn't have as much action as Ong Bak but the story is a lot more engaging. Once the beatings begin it's brutal. There are a couple of no cut scenes, one of them longer than five minutes where Jaa makes his way up multiple levels of a building and levels everyone dumb enough to get in his way. He also breaks bones in ways I never thoguth of. Actually made me cringe. whee

I got them in less than a few months after the movies were released ... sweatdrop (it is good to live in the middle of Asia ...) Yup, the part where he climbs up the spiral stairs, beating random fellows and throwing them down, filmed totally in one shot ... is just cool. mrgreen
