The assaian saw the town and his only thought was:"FINALY!!"

Yu nodded as Quellu appeared not long after him. He breathed in the air before taking a quick look around, "Alright, let's go." He had a destination in mind so that they could bed down for the night.
The sun was beginning to set and the shadows were becoming long, this was going to be a treacherous time. They needed to find friendly people. The Commander began striding down an alleyway hoping to hide away from prying eyes. If they could find an empty house, one that was hidden away, that would be the best place for them.

Tsuriai walked silently, her Samurai discipline keeping her from idle chatter or a listless look. Her stern brown eyes scanned the ground as she walked, ever searching for what she had lost. Unfortunately it was nothing of value. Just her shoes.
She hated these trances she'd fall into occasionally. She would remember her life as the Emperor's aid and personal guard as a decorated Samurai. She would fall into her foggy memories and roam the palace of her lord, ever searching for him and the orders he would bestow upon her with that kind grin he would always gift her with.
She dismissed these memories with a grimace. She had passed on now, leaving her lord's side. She was no longer his warrior, his Samurai of the Mountains. She must make do with the lack of her lord.
Tsuriai resumed her search for her shoes. Her wooden geta that was part of her Samurai uniform. The ash wood was a good support for her feet and the black straps were durable. They were trustworthy shoes. She had walked to the Byodo-in temple with her lord in them! And... they were the shoes she was dishonorably killed in.
(I just joined. I hope I can help the story.)

Sitting on the tallest building surrounding Rukongai's village square Mitsuoki watched as the occasional spirit slipped in and out of alley ways. He knew that the Commander was here somewhere and he'd done what he'd meant to do earlier.
Now though he was left, just watching. He'd been tracking the bandits and the groups. It was a much more widespread problem than he had initially considered. North, East, South, West, everywhere was crawling with Bandits, most of them were just wandering Konpaku. The most curious thing he found though were those that were dressed in stone armor. Of course, he'd been playing... that's how he found out a good way to get rid of them.
Now though, he'd grown bored of hunting so here he was, enjoying the afternoon sun and something caught his eye. A woman in white...no less, with pastel pink hair, she seemed to be looking for something. She was new. That wasn't a good situation for her in the current climate.
"Hey!" He held his hand up as he smiled. Somehow the smile seemed rather sadistic and his white hair seemed a light red in the sunlight. It was only his black robes that seemed rather sensible. Jumping from his position he landed next to the girl on her right side with his right hand on her right shoulder.
"Who are you?"

Tsuriai felt the hand land on her shoulder and she immediately slapped his hand away, drawing her wakizashi and putting it to his throat.
"Don't you dare touch me." she snarled. It was a reflex, at least the blade drawing part was. Tsuriai hated such contact ever since she was alive. She had been in a station of power and influence. Only the Emperor had laid a hand on her shoulder and not been beaten for it. She removed her blade from his person and sheathed it, turning her back to him. "What would my name mean to a stranger such as you." she snuffed, dismissing him as she continued her search.
She had no time for distractions. She was determined to find her shoes and to get away from this man. She wasn't one for people and she was bent on getting her shoes and a place to sleep and meditate for the night. She was so concerned for her shoes because her feet were starting to ache from the lack of the familiar ash wood.

Slapping his hand away was something he'd expected, but there was something he hadn't expected. The flash of a Zanpakuto. Konpaku didn't have these usually. Even though the Zanpakuto was at his throat, he grinned. After all, his own Zanpakuto a katana was pointing at her solar plexus.
He licked his lips. This could prove an interesting prey. When she sheathed her blade, he was a little disappointed but followed suit.
"What would your name mean to me..." A puzzled expression occupied his face for a moment, "I think it has more value to you. Surrendering your name means you keep your life." The hand on his Zanpakuto indicated his intention and perhaps eagerness. Yet his eyes widened when he realized she had not observed this but instead turned away to look for something.
"You're rather rude for a Konpaku." Although he neglected to add that she was well on her way to becoming a Shinigami. A Zanpakuto was the first sign, but she didn't bear the black dress that all Shinigami wore.

The assaian had left the Commander and had began to explore the area, when he saw the man with the wolf-like expression almost get his neck slit by a Samurai-dressed girl. He didn't hear what she said, but he watch her as she sheathed her blade. He was hoping they would kill each other.

Tsuriai had just stopped listening to him. A valuable skill she learned from the Samurai who taught her what she knows. It came in handy when taking orders and in boisterous crowds when she was escorting the Emperor anywhere.
She turned a corner and found her geta right next to an empty doorway, neatly placed off to the side as one would do if entering a household. She let a smile flash upon her lips before dismissing it and slipping them on. She flexed her toes some and gave a quiet sigh of content. Comfort at last. They raised her height by an inch, 2 at best.
She looked up from her newly reclaimed wooden shoes to the house they were placed by. It seemed vacant and she remembered why she had stopped here. She guessed she had been planning to stay here for the night and she went in. She slipped her geta off and set them next to her as she sat in a corner to relax and meditate.

Now Mitsuoki was used to people not listening to him, but, this girl didn't have much of a choice as he followed her into the house, nor the power to oppose him at the moment, he raised his hand.
"Bakudo #1: Sai." He pointed his first finger and the second finger of his right hand at the girl and then slashed it quickly away thus applying the restraining technique binding her arms behind her and forcing her to her knee's and wresting her from her meditation, "Alright, we'll do this the fun way." He drew his Zanpakuto and placed the tip of the blade on her cheek, "Your name."
Of course he'd need to take her to the commander soon so he couldn't kill her...or maybe he could, he doubted the commander was aware of her so soon.

Tsuriai felt her arms tied in a painful manner, her being forced to her knees and interrupting her meditation. She looked up to see the man from before. She knew they acted all the same, even in death. Men... She saw them as arrogant pigs.
This fact was only affirmed as his 'fun way' was putting his blade to her cheek. Yet she contained her steely composure, not intimidated by something simple as a sword in her face. She was a Samurai, for gods' sakes! She was used to having such weaponry against her skin.
She snuffed at him. "I will not yield to one who uses fear to get what he wants." she said, not taking the temptation to call him a pig.

He looked down and smiled before slicing a light nick into her cheek. The blood flowed and his Katana absorbed it, "You wouldn't answer, what else am I supposed to do." His voice seemed almost melodic.
"Well...you'll either tell me, or you'll have a lot more scars before you walk out of here." His heart sank, he didn't really want to let her out alive but there was nothing he could do about that. Normally one would offer their own name at this point, but Mitsuoki was far too sadistic for that. He placed his katana on her other cheek.
Mitsuoki was a pain expert which is why his cuts were never life threatening.

Tsuriai wasn't phased by the cut to her cheek, nor by him placing his blade on the other side of her face. She glared up at this sadistic man and just spat at his feet. A bit crude yes, but she was becoming tired of this game.
"Release me and I might tell you." she muttered lowly. It was defeat, but she couldn't reach her sword and repay the cut at the moment.

Might? He'd put her straight back if she didn't, "Done." With that he pulled his Zanpakuto away from her cheek and held it to his left, "Release." Which released the Bakudo.

Tsuriai got back to her feet rubbing her arms a little. "Forceful little monkey, aren't you." she growled at him, but resumed her place in the corner. She glanced to him and sighed. He just wasn't going to go away.
"My name is Ranaji Tsuriai. Now leave me be." she said shortly and resumed her meditation. Finally some peace for her mind. It was cluttered with memories and aches. The meditation began to soothe her mind, quelling the storm in her head.

A monkey? An unusual insult for him, but none the less, he was prepared to take it if she gave him a name.
"Ah, Tsuriai-san." He bowed his head and placed his Zanpakuto at her cheek. While his blade was usually an offensive weapon he could use it in a way that would heal wounds and in a few moments the cut disappeared, "I'm afraid I can't leave you alone...not as long as you have that..." He was gesturing to her Zanpakuto not that she'd see.
