"Wouldn't have been lying to me otherwise, green eyes." Kat's smile sharpened, the natural glisten effect on her lips catching the light. "I always liked green eyes on a man, has the best of both worlds. A little bit of the warm earthy feel in a good pair of brown, splashed in with that cold shockfactor you'd find in blue. Pretty and humble all at the same time."
Kat shook her head, the strawberry blond locks shining a hint too bright to be natural. "No, not books." She leaned over him to turn the computer back on. "I wanted to look up some of the same sites."

Arch the Angel Samuel paused, raising an eyebrow. "What the hell are you talking about?" "I wanted to check out some of the latest super-power sightings" Kat said, pulling up a browser and typing a few words into the search engine. She gave him an innocent look. "You should relax some, you seem uptight." Kat turned her attention back to the computer, skimming through some of the results.

MEanwhile, in the common area, school employees as well as others were setting up for a college fair. Among the gathered was Marcus Shipp and his bodyguard, and Arne Crane and several other undercover Keepers setting up their display, a front for an agency that worked with students to get them better loans for school.
Students came and went, Crane making sure to shake their hands after they had filled out an application for, keeping track of each one he found with powers, taking great care to record each one on a computer, as well as marking the hard copy.
Rook walked by, headed to his next class, spotting the keepers almost instantly. He slipped out his phone as he went into a bathroom, sending Kat a text.
"Eyes up. Keepers in the building."

Samuel was talking about her big spiel about eyes, but took notice when she started looking things up, himself staring over her shoulder.

Kat knew full well what Sam had been talking about, and she remained well amused, until she felt her phone vibrating inside her jacket. She took it out to read Rook's note and let out a quiet, "ah hell."
She assumed the Keeper's were there for Sam, and if not him directly, would be keeping an eye out for him. She put on a fake smile and glanced over at the football player. "What class do you have next?"

Leaning against a wall behind where Mr Crane was working, Adam tried to keep out of the way and unnoticed. He could feel Zipper's tail hitting his foot repeatedly, and though his dog was excited for all the new sights and smells, he stayed put.
Though not wanting to draw attention to himself, he didn't want to be completely useless. He called over to where he heard Mr Crane's voice, "C-can I help?"

Arch the Angel "I've got Weight lifting next in the gym." He shrugged. "What about you?" "In the gym? With the football coach?" Kat asked. She moved away from the computer, straining her neck a bit to look around and see if there were any of the familiar faces she had no interest in seeing again. "You know what, I've got weight lifting too," she lied, grabbing up her backpack. "You wanna walk down there together? Like right now?" She tightened her smile, trying to play with her lie, "I'm avoiding this kid, kind of grabby-handed, and I could use a guard of sorts." mqnania Leaning against a wall behind where Mr Crane was working, Adam tried to keep out of the way and unnoticed. As the students passed through the hall, one or two of the girls made high pitched cooing noises over the cute doggy. A few of the other students made various comments on seeing Adam, Crane and the table setup, some of them not particularly friendly, while others just curious.

Samuel shrugged and nodded, grabbing his back pack. "Yeah, alright then. Kinda surprised you'd take weight training though, doesn't seem the kinda thing most girls would be into."

"And miss out on my opportunity to beat up on some guys?" Kat flexed her arm, "What do you wanna bet after the end of the semester I'm bench-pressing more than you?" As they headed towards the main hall Kat could see the keeper booth up in the distance. She paled slightly, took a hold of Sam's arm and steered him in a slightly different direction. "Let's go this way, less noise than the commons."

"I will, after I get some training down." Kat tried to smile, though it was difficult knowing the group down the other hall. "We're almost to class, and it's not like I'd be able to knife you and then drag your body somewhere to dispose it all with my little weak arm. Maybe after the weight-training class is over, then you might have to worry, but not now."

Crane looked over his shoulder to Adam, shaking the hand of a girl, before sliding the application to the man sitting at the laptop, who quickly began to enter the information.
"Actually, you can. Sit up front, be noticable. I need you to draw people in. Well, you and that dog."
Rook had seen Kat steer Sam off, and sighed heavily in relief. He opted to take advatage of his study hall period by taking a free workout session to keep a second set of eyes on Sam.
