ISAAC armine Out of everything you could have done... Beauty before age.. - Isaac, Estas, Lise, and Maelle.
Isaac continued smirking. So far, just the company had been entertaining enough for him. He was a little thrown off with how extreme Lise's reply to Estas was, but he barely showed it. A cocked eyebrow would be the only give-away. He glanced at her, "As far as the basket is concerned it is either a trap or perhaps they have few workers. Or they are bad workers. The latter is more likely based on the sounds coming from inside. Might I suggest you all take cover?" Isaac said, standing just to the side of the door, but again, a full person away from the wall incase of another trap. His cane would be proving quite useful around here, anything Armand or anyone else had set would not have been able to tell that it would be Isaac venturing through the door.
As he pressed the door with his cane, since it was a swing door, due to the fact that if anything had to be carried in or out of the kitchen they would need it, Isaac started to peer inside. No doubt he would be surprised at what he would find. He was a little tense, prepared for anything.
(I assume you had something in mind Scythe?)

((That would be correct.))
Armand's face reverted back to his typical grin. "Oh, dear. I wonder what the others would think of you after they find out you did it..." he muttered quite audibly. "We've got quite a bunch of flying critters around today." He eyed Aria. "Oh dear, indeed."
---------
Estas was even a bit surprised by the other teacher's response. Well, worked better than I thought... now why do I fell like Armand right now? He suppressed a snicker.
"Basket?" Estas looked around. There was usually food in those baskets. Kitchen probably have more though, but it was unusually loud with all the metal clashing, yelling and so on.
Yes, cover sounded like a good idea. Estas stood off to the side of the doors and pulled the two girls over. Isaac was smartly using his cane to prop open the door.
Unfortunately, it didn't save any of them. Unfortunately, the angle that the door was opened was enough to let something through, and it didn't matter who it was that was entering. A couple of eggs came flying through immediately followed by flapping birds. Small ones. Baby hawks, perhaps. One of them smacked right into Estas's face. "Mmph!" Being the first in line, Isaac probably got nailed by an egg. What followed next was a decent sized chef knife. It planted itself in the wall beside Maelle and Lise.
Inside the kitchen, they could hear...
"HOW THE HELL DID THESE HAWKS GET IN HERE?" CRASH!
BANG! "BY THE GODS, THAT ONE IS HUMONGOUS!"
"Uh, I don't think any of the food is left... there's poop on them.!" cried a meek voice.
"THE FOOD!!!"
Whatever the case, it sounded like the kithen was a huge mess. From the metal sounds clashing, the staff was most likely using whatever things they had at disposal to take care of a massive hawk infestation. It sounded as if there were hawks of all ages...maybe even those eggs that flew out were hawk eggs.
((Feel free to NPC the kitchen staff and how the kitchen looks.))

"I did not do anything." Aria repeated. Even though she knew it was entirely useless to send any sort of denial, the demon was still going to try. "How would they know that you didn't plant the hawks in the kitchen, Armand?" Aria asked the headmaster flatly. She returned Armand's exact look that he was giving her at this moment. Not knowing what was going to happen from here on out about this whole 'accusation' of her actually planting the hawks in the kitchen was only just barely nerve wracking. However, what was most disturbing was how this was going to affect her relationship with anyone else on the faculty.

Lise frowned. Something was up in the kitchen. She didn't know of any kitchens that were that loud. When Isaac went to open the door, she braced herself and good thing she did. A knife flew past her head into the wall!
"I did not just hear that," the teacher mumbled as she heard "poop" from the people inside the kitchen. She didn't want anything from the kitchen if it had poop on it. It was unsanitary.
She "eeped" when an egg splattered on her. Random stuff was flying out. "Close the dooorrrr!" Lise yelled.

((Estas's response to the poll: Do none of you have confidence in me?
dragon-talk has permission to help "move" the kitchen situation along since Aria is currently talking to an Armand type wall.))
"Same to you, Aria." The headmaster grinned slyly. "It would be your word against mine. Now, who would they believe?" Rhetorical question. Truly, the answer could come out both ways.

While no one was looking, Maelle had gone over to the basket, and had started cramming the cookies in her. They actually weren’t too bad. But taste didn’t matter. She hadn’t eaten since yesterday, so she would eat anything.
And then, a knife suddenly whizzed by her head. She stood frozen, in shock, until a small hawked swooped down likely going for the shiny jewel on her hairpin, barely missing her. She began to chuck cookies at it as fast as she could, one after the other. The hawk swooped down a second, third, and then fourth time, until it finally hit her. Well actually, it was her hair, and in trying to escape, it tangled itself. “THERE’S A HAWK IN MY HAIR!!” she yelled as she batted at the hawk.

((XP Sorry, Mosmoto. That was funny.))
Lise didn't even notice Maelle wasn't with them until she suddenly heard "THERE'S A HAWK IN MY HAIR!!" and then a cookie hit her.
"What?" Lise looked around saw ... a hawk in Maelle's hair. "Hawk?" She looked in her hand. "Cookie?" She didn't know what to do. More stuff was coming through the door. "ISAAC CLOSE THE DOOORRR!" she yelled as she moved away from the kitchen door. "You, stop standing around and looking stupid!" she yelled at Estas.
Girl team power. She couldn't do anything to help the situation if she did nothing. I'm so going to regret this. Hawks and poop in kitchen food. What are we going to do about dinner? So, Lise went over to Maelle and tried to help her to no avail. The hawk kept moving, and Lise was really hoping it wouldn't poop.

Several more Hawks managed to get through the still open kitchen door. They were flying around in random directions. Apparently, it look like they were extremely disoriented. The one in Maelle's hair kept moving around. It just wanted to perch there. But with Maelle screaming and flailing around, along with Lise trying to grab it, it seemed that the poor bird of prey was going to have to keep moving.

Aria let out a barely audible sigh. This was like talking to or arguing with a wall! "Forget it. Forget I said anything. I don't really care who planted those animals in the kitchen."

Armand smirked. "Oh, well, you'll all find out at dinner tomorrow anyway." He leaned back in his chair. "Now, what are you going to wear for your date tonight, hmm?"
Suddenly, out of nowhere, a voice shouted, "Headmaster, we've been at these hawks for a while now. More and more keep coming!"
The voice wasn't from Armand. The headmaster sighed. "Well, dear cook, why don't you get those teachers outside the kitchen to help out? I'm sure they'll prove to be a valuable asset to the team."
There was no one in sight, and Armand wasn't talking to himself.

Aria could have sighed aloud in irritation once again because Armand referred to her meeting with Estas later as a date. It would probably prove entirely useless for her to argue. That was shown when she argued with the headmaster over the hawk infestation in the kitchen. "Is there something wrong with wearing what I am already wearing?" Aria finally replied, the sigh managing to reveal itself in her tone despite it not being completely obvious.

ISAAC armine Out of everything you could have done... Oh, well, I'll risk the cookies... - Isaac, Estas, Lise, and Maelle.
Isaac was a little bewildered when a hawk and various other objects came flying at him and his comrades. At the glimpse of multiple knives flying past he was glad that he told the others to find cover before-hand. They would need to go through the hassle of finding more teachers then.
He removed his cane from the door and watched as it attempted to close. But it remained open due to the barrage of hawks that kept making their escape. He had already been splattered once in the stomach with an egg, how he was not sure based on how he opened the door, but either way, he was not pleased. "Enough of this nonsense..." Isaac uttered, swinging his cane. He kept the blade sheathed, but the cane itself was much harder than what most expected, this was to ensure that the blade did not somehow pierce its own sheath. It was also a handy feature in combat.
With a squawk and a thud Isaac grinned, one hawk lay winded or unconscious at his feet. He was unprompted of course, but it was obvious that the cooks were not getting anywhere with their efforts. "Come on now, it's useless to just watch." Isaac said as he started to work his way inside, which was for lack of a better word, disgusting.

Well, not quite the situation he was expecting at the kitchen. Armand... is this your fault too? Estas thought as he shoved the baby hawk off his face and smacked it to knock it out. He could feel something drip down his face. He felt his face, and some blood came off. My face! Now, Estas respected life, but the hawk had just ruined his face. They had to be stopped.
Getting yelled at by Lise was already enough to get moving. Maelle and her were trying to get rid of the vengeful hawk in Maelle's hair. Isaac was entering the warzone... The caned teacher was right. One had to solve the problem inside, the source of the problem. He followed Isaac, thinking that the girls should be able to handle the one hawk... and he didn't want to go near one. "Wait, Isaac. We need weapons." On second thought, they were going to a kitchen. There should be plenty of supplies in there, but he didn't expect it to be so...disheveled. ---------- Armand leaned forward and fingered the star maps again, looking at them when he answered Aria. "Well, if it is a date, you should dress nicely, wouldn't you think?" he replied absentmindedly. There were multiple things going on in his head. Why are the stars moving faster now?

"It is not a date." Aria replied simply, pushing her annoyance back into her thoughts and not letting i show in her demeanor. She sat down in one of the other chairs in the room. "And since I do not think that it is even a date at all, I think that how I am dressed now should be fine." she added in a matter of fact tone. She noticed Armand was still studying the star charts on his desk. She wondered what was so interesting about them, but she would ask later.
===
The kitchen was indeed disheveled as Estas and Issac entered the room. There were pots, pans, and anything else a kitchen might in fact house was out of the cabinets, on the floor, flying through the air at the what seemed like hundred of hawks flying about the room. The cooks were trying their best, but it seemed they were fighting a losing battle at this point in time.

"Alright, Aria, whatever you say. You're in denial and you won't admit it," the headmaster mumbled. He flipped to one of the star charts that seemed to look empty. "See, Aria?" He jabbed a finger at a faint dot on the chart. "That is you and your fellow coworkers are there as well."
----
Estas regretted entering the kitchen the moment they did. In fact, he started to edge slowly out, hoping Isaac wouldn't notice. No way...the outside looked better.

Aria ignored Armand's continued pestering about her outing with Estas. She instead turned her attention to the star chart which the headmaster was now showing her. She leaned forward a little to study the spot where he was pointing. Frowning slightly she didn't really exactly understand what Armand meant, so she asked. "What are you talking about? Is this your round-about way of saying 'all our stars are aligned in some way? If so, its very cliche."
((I won't post as the hawks until some of the others post.))
