When she arrived home, Heather Mason propped her foot up and gently slapped a bag of ice over her throbbing ankle. It would take weeks and weeks to heal. What to do until then?
Life pretty much sucked. She wasn't going to go on an entire pity trip about Tristan. Not like most girls would. Heather reclined back in her chair and flipped on the television. Something good on? Hardly. Maybe if she flipped around a bit, she would find something...

Rosemary Anna-Lee Bret Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make Something you do "If it sets your mind at ease, then alright." She stated once more her mind flashing to Heather. Thinking about the situation it would have been better for her to let Tristan offer to take Heather first.
She nodded and her slightly hyper self was starting to show as she slinked out of the door and walked, a bounce in her step.
"I'm pretty sure they did. It looked like it would go well enough for that to happen." Her smile had widened and she was looking overhead, her steps slowing down as the chill of the night hit her.Something you areAnd something you give away.

And she did find something. A few music videos on MTV. Heather leaned back into her chair and popped a piece of popcorn into her mouth. The butler had brought it fresh to her right form the oven. It was warm and slightly buttery. Not too much to take away the allure of eating it.

"It does." Mike concluded with a satisfied nod as they moved out.
At least Rose seemed in a pretty good mood right now. It was kinda cute. Ya know, as she moved with a bounce in her step. Of course Michael still kept up easily with a longer stride. It made him grin.
"Ha well. I'm gonna be grilling him for answers tomorrow, that's for sure. It's just so weird! Ya know?" he chuckled. "A little while after their dance, Julia came up to me to get his number, but I made her ask him if she wanted it," Mike shrugged, "I don't think she likes me for that much, but I figured if she didn't have the nerve to ask him for the number, she was even less likely to call him." See. He was being helpful.
Michael, unlike Tristan, had absolutely no problem with Reese and Julia hanging out, and in fact, found it quite interesting. Tristan was the only one he really had a problem with anyway. Besides, he knew Reese was a good guy and wouldn't hurt her. Well, and he doubted their was a psycho b***h behind the cute exterior.... not that you ever knew for sure (reminded him of his ex, Courtney.)

But at the same time don't you think it was cute? I mean, if he's happy then so am I. He deserves some happiness." She nodded, wrapping her arms around her and rubbing to keep herself warm. "I mean, yeah it doesn't look like it'll work because of the family but hey! If they're willing to try then something could really happen there." Listening to him she smiled before turning to look at him and giving him a wink, "Way to be helpful. Though I doubt she would've chickened out of anything. She's one tough cookie." I know that we'll have a ball If we get down and go out and just lose it all I feel stressed out I wanna let it go Lets go way out spaced out And losing all control
Reese cringed at the word castration. Eugh. "A horrifying thought." But then the thought of Tristan being the threat, made him laugh a little. Sure, the guy walked around all macho and spewing bravado, but he wasn't fooled.
"Well what?" Reese smirked at her change of expression after she gave him a peck on the chin. He sighed and decided that they were probably running out of time. On that note, he stood up and got out of the tub, instantly feeling the cold.
Shaking the water out of his hair, he quickly stepped into his shoes, picked up his shirt and jacket and walked back over the Julia, still in the tub.
"So. Shall I say, 'Bye'.. or 'I'll see you later'?" he asked, smiling a little, feeling immensely gutted that he had to leave in the first place.

"Cute" wasn't exactly the word Michael would have used, but he understood. He thought of it more as "interesting." Same principal though.
"Yeah, he does..." accidentally, he left the sentence unfinished, trailing off, hopefully not too noticeably. Somehow, he had almost gone on about how Reese hadn't been having much luck in that department for awhile now.
Normally, that wasn't such a bad comment, but considering it was directly related to Rose here, he thought it best not to add. She obviously felt a little bad about it, because she didn't seem to like Reese like that at all, and he had liked her for some time now. It's one of the things that made it surprising he seemed to have gotten over her so suddenly, if he really ahd that is... He had seemed REALLY into Julia that night though.
"Well.. I'm not sure how well it will work out in the long run, even assuming they really are that into each other... But I'm not the one to try and stop them. I would think Julia is alright too, being a close friend of yours." Yeah... he didn't really know anything about the girl other than that, and all the gossip you could never trust. And well... not that he knew Rose very well either, not personally anyway, but much more then her friend, thanks to Reese pursuing her.
"Heh. Well. Me helping or not probably didn't end up making much of a difference... So what about you anyway?" he asked, surprising himself even, at the sudden change of subject. He continued anyway with the half formed thought. "Anyone in mind? And I swear, if you say Tristan, I might just have to accidentally knock you upside the head to be sure it's on straight."
Ok... he went further with that then he meant to, going on about Tristan... But he was curious. Had been for awhile actually, since he had noticed long before now that Rose had never seemed very interested in Reese, even though she didn't have a boyfriend. It made him think she might like someone though.

JuliaLeilaniCapulet Julia shook her head. "Nothing dear. You're right its an awful thought." She blushed a tad, though it was hard to notice thankfully.
She watched as Reese left the hot tub and shook his hair out. Water droplets pelted into the air while he dressed. She couldn't help but watch him, this all just felt surreal to her.
And as soon as he left, it would all feel like a dream. Just too good to be true.
Julia had closed her eyes, relaxing as he finished getting his jacket on, and she hadn't realized he was that close to her until he spoke. She even jumped a bit, her heart skipping a beat or two.
"Dammit. Don't do that." She laughed lightly before answering, "I prefer a 'see me later.' Bye is too final." Her gut twisted, begging him not to go. But she knew he had to, and she was not one to beg him to stay.
Pretty baby, don't you leave me. I have been saving smiles for you..

Rosemary Anna-Lee Bret Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make Something you do Rose couldn't help letting her mind wander as they walked in silence. She hadn't noticed how far her home actually was perhaps it was good that he had offered to walk her home especially after spotting a few creeps behind them. Instinctively she moved closer to him being careful not to touch him though. Her mind thought of Julia and she wondered how she was; was it right for her to have left her like that? Reese was a good guy but--no no she was over thinking things. Of course it was okay! She was probably going to bed already.
Her thoughts were interrupted as she glanced up at him curiously. Michael was talking about Julia and she smiled brightly. "She is a great girl. I'm not going to stop them either. In fact, I think this is just what the family needs! A bitter rivalry to be stopped by love. Romantic neh?" She fawned dramatically and giggled.
The change of subject was quick and took her by surprise. She stumbled slightly before regaining herself. What about her? That was a good question. Laughing she teasingly said, "Tristan is my lover is that so bad?" Then she put on a serious face and shrugged her shoulders. "I think that sometimes I was meant to be a nun because honestly, the guy that I like is the complete opposite of me and that alone possibly drives him away." Rose didn't look him in the eye, her cheeks flamed and she kept talking as though she wasn't talking about him. Not to mention when she was nervous she rambled..
"I mean, I'm not that bad of a girl just.. different. But aren't all girls different in some shape or form. Blagh forget about me. What about you? Any particular damsel that has got you going crazy?" Her eyes finally lifted to meet his. Something you areAnd something you give away.

Michael couldn't help but think back to the old story that was supposedly based off of the Montague and Capulet's. It didn't end so well, even if the feud did come to a stand still from it, at least for a time.
He didn't care to mention it though. This as different.... And that was just a story.
Well. At least Mike could tell by Rose's teasing tone that she wasn't serious about what she said next, but he still said "Yes" in reply to, 'is that so bad.'
He was surprised though, as she went on. It also confused him.
And that's.... not Tristan, right? he couldn't help but think, because that was the guy that he pictured being the MOST opposite of Rose, and well, for some reason he hated the idea even more than you'd think. But then, he knew that Tristan liked her.... soooo, if she liked him, that wouldn't be a problem.
He was looking down at her with a surprisingly soft expression. He felt bad for her really... by the way she spoke of herself... She sounded so insecure. And why? She was beautiful, and had such a sweet personality, how could any guy be driven away by that...?
And then Mike hadn't expected her to suddenly look up at him then, so their eyes met. He had started to speak and stopped, almost completely stopped walking, then stumbled to keep going. Looking ahead now.
"Um... well... My ex is STILL driving me crazy" he laughed, "But... not in a good way." He thought for a moment before continuing on though, turning back to her, rather than himself.
"I'm still confused over what you said. You sound insecure about yourself," ok, so that was a little blunt, but he hurried to go on, "And I can't imagine why. You are different, but that's a good thing. I mean, I'm tired of all the other girls at this point, their almost... annoying, now. Their all the same. You know?" ok, so now he was kind of rambling, and not paying much attention to what he was saying.
He didn't have being drunk as an excuse either, because he wasn't in the least.
Upon finishing speaking, he looked back down at her, having now clue what her reaction would be to him saying all of that.

Rosemary Anna-Lee Bret Peace is not something you wish for; It's something you make Something you do Rose chuckled at his slight reply to her commenting that Tristan was her boyfriend. It wasn't that she didn't like him like tha--wait yes it was. She didn't even consider him boyfriend material. He was far too violent and constantly tried to start a fight. Totally not her type.
Trying not to think about it she had locked gazes with him and found herself transfixed. There was something soft behind his tough exterior, something that lured her to move closer but caught herself when he stumbled. Chuckling she extended her hand but realized he had caught himself.
Ah, yes. He had an ex. Heather. "She's a sweet girl, haha, even if she is crazy for you still. It's partly your fault for being so damn great." She teased with a nudge.
His words came one after the other and she found herself stopping abruptly.
Biting her lip she looked up, her eyes meeting his. "I guess you're right. I am insecure about myself." Rose's eyes lowered to the ground before she continued to talk, "And you don't have to say all that. You probably don't mean it but it's okay. I don't mind being insecure it shields me from people." Looking up once more she half whispered the words, "I'm such a coward." Before her frown disappeared and she smiled trying to make light of the situation. "I'm not annoying yet. Just wait until you stick around long enough and then you can talk to me about annoying. Ha ha." Something you areAnd something you give away.
