( *hopes she isn't late* )

Kanth leaned against Loki as they entered in a long while ago, still watching from just aside the entrance. Kanth had still been weak from the earlier battle, and she had refused to shapeshift, so she was out of shape for a while. How long, Loki didn't know.

"Damn letter," Kanth murmured as it disintegrated in her hands, her dark eyes glancing up as the darkness fell, then rose, then fell again, only to reveal a pathway which lead down to some sort of catacombs.

She had had enough of death.

Loki glanced at her wordlessly, kneeling down and setting her against the wall next to the door, frowning a small bit. "Perhaps you should stay here. You're not fit to travel."

"And you are?" Kanth shot, and after a moment of staring, backed down, looking away. "...You're right. I'm sorry. This is your..." She bit off the soft reply, closing her eyes and letting out a sigh as she watched him go from the corner of her eyes.

Loki stood, his hands brushing over the smooth wood of his staff, and reaching up to the lantern, curving his hand around it carefully. He stared into it a moment, but shook his head, turning to enter the hallway to the cavern, or whatever it was.

He heard voices, and grimaced. Loki didn't really fancy in seeing anyone else at this point, but he supposed that it would be inevitable, in the long run. Reaching up to feel the goggles around his neck, he closed his eyes for a moment, folded his wings flat against his back, and walked down.
