Myia let out a bright sweet smile because of Scotts words. "Well not at the moment." She laughed a little. "You are so very nice. You must have been raised very well." She said. "So many people now have forgotten how to be nice and mannered."

“I was just thinking that very same thing, that this generation seems to have forgotten manners and politeness. Not you, of course, but others.” He smiled, then looked over his shoulder at the man that fell out of his chair. ‘Damn, don’t tell me sis just showed him her fangs, already. Poor guy.’ He returned his attention to Myia after the man got up.

Myia smiled. "Thank you. Very much true." She relaxed in her chair. Her ears twitched as she looked past Scott. 'My, what happened over there?' She thought before she turned back to Scott. She sighed lightly. "And then they also forget the real truth and want to hide behind lies." She said. "That really bugs me the most that they rather live a lie then know the truth." She shook her head. "A life can not be lived like that. Of course that is just my thoughts."

Scott nodded, but he had a disagreement, "What would you say to a person hiding behind a lie not to protect himself, but to protect his entire family? I've heard of ocasions where it was dangerous for anyone to know the truth of a person, so that person would have to lie a little." He hopped she didn't see through his hypothetical situation.

Myia thought for a bit before she answered. "Well, true something may not need to be told, but they may found out and it would most likely make it worse then need be." She looked at him a little interested in why he said that. Then she asked. "Why did you say that?" She tilted her head.

Scott didn’t know how he was going to answer. “What if I were to tell you that was my case, and that for now I don’t think I can go into details with you? I’m sorry.” He lowered his head again. It made him feel bad that he had to keep it from her. He hadn’t once lied to her and he didn’t plan on it. But did she know that none of what he said was a lie. That he was being as honest as possible with her. He was only leaving an important detail out, but no lies.

Myia looked at him worried then she reached out across the table and touched his hand. "It's okay. You don't have to tell if it causes pain. I don't want to see you sad." She smiled sweetly. "Okay lets change the subject. What do you like?" She asked.

Scott looked at her hand on his. It felt nice. He liked it, her soft smooth hand on his. He looked up again, “What I have to keep from you doesn’t pain me. It pains me that I can’t share it with you.” He was speaking softly, and still calmly, so that only she could hear him. “I don’t really have any favorites. I believe I’ve been in the same place too long to be able to compare what I like to what is out there. I like black, as you can see. The sun is too bright for my eyes, so I don’t much care for the sun. I like the piece one can have in nature. How about you?” He managed to answer her question without sounding 130 years old.

Myia looked down. "Okay." She nodded her head once. "No worries." She listened to him as he spoke. She smiled as she enjoyed some the same things he did. "Well. I like to read and write, being outside, and scary things. But not much can scare me any more. I also like to sing and read about the unbelievable, but I'm not obsessive over it like some people." She shivered. "I hope I'm never like that." She said.

I can’t stand this, I want to share it with her. Why do I not want to hide this from her? What is this feeling? He adjusted himself a little. “You like scary things that don’t seem scary to you any more, and you read about the unbelievable. Does that mean you believe in the unbelievable? I could never see you be obsessive.” He continued to speak calmly and politely. I can’t share it here. I’d have to take her somewhere else, maybe for a walk. I still don’t have a place of my own, and its already two past noon. Or, at least I think that’s what the round picture says. “Is it already two past noon?” He asked carefully.

Myia looked at Scott. "Yes, I do." She answered placing her hands in her lap. She grinned. "That's good." She looked at the clock. 'Man, time flew.' She sighed. "I believe you are right." She finished her drink.

"You are? Hm....what is it about them that make them enjoyable for you? I don't get it...." Lilith asked, hoping she wasn't being rude. She twiddled with her fingers to get her mind of the subject and looked around. The clock said that is was past noon. Is that how much time I've spent in this place? A bit more then I usually spend... she thought and looked back at Amon.

Scott thought a moment, then suggested, "So you want to go for a walk or something? I need to stretch since we've been sitting for hours." He smiled slightly.

Tsuki smiled as she leaned back and crossed her legs, preparing herself for a long story. "Well, to start off, my name is Tsukiko Akane and I am 400 years old. I was living in Japan at the start of the Edo period which was around 1603, so I was born in 1609. All of the old traditions with women were in play at about that time; therefore, I was always doing chores and whatnot. I even had an arranged marriage at age 3, but as you can see, it never went through. Everyone loved me; they thought I was the ideal woman, and they treated me as if I was a princess, always giving me pretty ivory combs, or rare satin kimonos. The one I'm wearing is one of those rare kimonos; i take good care of my clothes.

"Well, anyways, one day, I was washing clothes by the river one night because even back then I hated the sun. But it was when I was cleaning those clothes when I was snatched away from the human world. The vampire that changed me isn't alive today, but he was extremely handsome and he wished for me to be wife. I played along, for I thought that vampirism was quite interesting, We married and traveled the world together, leaving hundreds of vampires in our wake, but when vampire hunters had finally caught us, they drove a wooden stake through his heart, instantly killing him. I got away before they could reach me, and in my despair and desperation to find an other vampire like me, I came upon a cave in this area. Inside were people just like me, and I took a spot among them, hiding in the caves to avoid those that hunted us.

"Just recently, we decided to walk among the humans, figuring that it was safe to live with them, and now, I'm here, talking with you about vampires," she explained with a smile, wishing that it would be enough for him to let her sink her teeth into his tasty neck.
