Nia's hand stayed ontop of the jar, placing it down on the desk. She pulled up the chair, taking out a magnify glass. She leaned up on the counter, proping her elbows up as she started to examine the worm. Maybe there was an anti-virus to it. Almost everything had some sort of anti something. Even though she was starving, she had to continue her work. ----------------------------------------

"Fooooood!" janice thought to herself, it was around dinner time and all she had in her stomach was half of a coffee and a bite of a croissant. She headed over to the buffer and put a little bit of everything on her plate. She then walked up to uhuras table and sat down and began to eat. "So.." she said as she put a piece of chicken in her mouth. "How are you?" she was glad that uhura asked her out to eat, janice enjoyed her company

 As Gaila sipped on her coffee she spotted her old roommate Uhura sit down an eat with Janice Rand. Ever since Gaila had been assigned Gamma shift she rarely if ever had the time to talk to any of her friends seeing as they had opposite shifts. Grabbing her coffee, Gaila made her way over to Uhura and Janice's table.
"Long time no talk, ladies.", Gaila said as she sat down next to Uhura, "Mind if I join you?"

Janice choked on her food as soon as uhura said that. She took a bug gulp of water and cleared her throat. "What are you talking about?!" she whispered leaning in uhuras direction. As soon as she did that Gaila walked up. "Sure!" janice said patting down on the chair next to her. "Girls night out huh?"

Ianto walks into the caffateria grabing his normal plate. It wasn't much but it was something he found that would be able to keep him up at all hours of the day. Then stumbled over to the coffee machine and used his key to unlock his box of his special blend of coffee from home. Highly potent and highly addictive. It had been the running gag back on earth that he was in the wrong business, he should of gone into the coffee shop industry. Quickly making up three cups of it knowing another long night was in store.

Rumble. Gurgle. Nia's stomach was screaming at her. She patted at it, "Husssh. You'll dine later when no ones around." she whispered softly to her tummy. She looked back through the glass to spot something blue on the worm. It was a tiny speck in a sea of white. What could that be? She wanted to get closer, but couldn't. "******** me." she blurted out. Her eyes widen, as she quickly covered her mouth. What if someone heard her? Her lone days were crawling back to her. She regained her composure, turning the jar to see if there was anymore blue speckles. "..Hmm.." she couldn't spot anything more then just that one.

Gaila took a swig of coffee and grinned at her old roommate. "Oh, I've just been getting more acquainted with the cuter crew mates.", she said with a sly wink. At the mention of a girl's night out, Gaila practically squealed in glee. "That sounds like a great idea, Janice! Oh wait... I've been put on Gamma Shift for the next few weeks." Gaila pouted a little wondering what to do, when low an behold a young ensign that worked Beta shift in the transporter room walked into the room. A wolfish grin spread across Gaila's face. She quickly fixed her hair and hiked up the skirt of her uniform a few inches.
"I'll be right back, girls.", Gaila stated before she made her way over to the ensign with a purposeful slink. After a few suggestive glances and bats of her long eyelashes Gaila had the man practically eating out of her hand. A few more minutes of flirting, Gaila lightly kissed the man on the cheek and skipped back to the table.
"I got that guy to cover my shift! Girl's night out it is!", she cheered.

Ianto had found his way back to sick bay with his food plates and coffees amazingly all intact with not a drop or piece stilt. He froze when he saw Nia with whatever the hell she was working with inside the backroom.
"I brought dinner and coffee anyone care for some?" Ianto offered.

As if she were desprate, Nia was already out and holding the jar in her hands. "Ha.. say that again and I'll open it and let silky have his way with you." she was teasing back, of course. And yes, she named the worm, after calling it 'the worm' way to many times. She found a slightly smaller desk and sat down, putting the jar infront of her. There was some silnce, before she blurted out.
"I found something unusual on our dear friend." she started to explain. "There is this one speck of blue on it's whole white body." ----------------------------------------
