Why hello there. Thanks for stopping by. My name's Gaila and I'm a Cadet in Starfleet. Before we really get to know each other there are some issues that I need to settle first.
Number one, yes I am in fact an Orion. No, I am not a slave. Would I be in Starfleet if I was? And yes I do know that by joining Starfleet I am betraying my kind's so called "political neutrality". Please, if anyone thinks that my people are politically neutral then their brain is smaller than a Centurian Slug's. If you must know I was a slave for a small amount of time but I was given my freedom through a underground railroad and was sold my freedom. Plenty of Orion Slave Girls were able to get out, though most choose to stay. Obviously, I wasn't one of the one who wanted to stay. Even though us Orion girls can technically control any male with our pheromones the title of slave is still there.
And I am no one's slave. Plain and simple.
Now on to the red hair. Why is that so many people are freaked out because I'm a red head? Not all human have the same hair color, so why should all Orions? I mean really, some people are just being plain stupid.
Oh, and if you ever call me Poison Ivy I will bite your face off.
Moving on, there seems to be a bit of debate as to whether or not my character is alive. It's never stated which star ship I was assigned to, and many people think I was assigned to one of the ships destroyed by the Narada at the Battle of Vulcan. Who's to know for sure. There are hundreds of people assigned to each ship. Maybe I was assigned to the Enterprise and you were too busy paying attention to that hunk Kirk and his crazy little escapades to notice me?
Who knows? Anything's possible in this series.
