Entry #3 Name: Raver in the Sun Main Focus: The reflective vest with the rave kandi on it Blurp: I did this piece to show the life of a raver. A raver lives in the night so by putting just the clothes i showed that a raver disappears by day and enlivens at night smile Edit: Brightened it a bit

Entry #4 Name: It was a boy :'( Main Focus: The baby shoe Blurp: A couple of 50's children books, antique baby bottles and antique baby powder tin. The shoe is the focus but it is out of focus which really tells the viewer that the baby died. Edit: No edit

ENTRY 3 - Turn It Up To 11
This shot was mainly an experiment. I got a new phone and it has a pretty decent camera on it so I wanted to try it out and I decided to take this picture of my amp. I was really pleased with the result. To start with the blurriness annoyed me a bit but for this shot I think it adds to it becasue there isn't really a main focus except the whole thing. What's more I didn't have to edit it to make it look nice, this is how the shot came out.

Entry 2. Out There Took this at Duncan Gardens in Manito park. There was truly no composition to this photo, it was only a snap shot. I just wanted to show the contrast of the red to the blue sky on one of the first really nice days of spring in my town. The vivid color was not tweaked with, as a teacher at my old school said, "the sun is your most powerful light source, use it wisely." Overall I just wanted to show the bright colors to make my city happy about the weather to come.

Entry 1: Main Focus: The waterfall and the beauty of both the trees surrounding it and of course the waterfall itself. Place Taken: Tasek Lama in Brunei Darussalam Message: Like life the water from this waterfall continues to flow and a waterfall is a beauty, but when surrounded by a nice scenery of green trees, its a masterpiece~ Meaning to say together we stand ^^ I took this picture this way to show that even murky water can be beautiful!! I didn't edit the picture xD

1st Submission :: Holy @$*# ___After driving down a road in Savannah, Georgia, and seemingly lost I came upon this majesty of a church. It is known to have orbs surrounding the outside at night time. Unfortunately, I was leaving that day and could not get a nighttime picture to prove otherwise. I wanted to convey a sense of awestruck when you look at this photo. Actually, I was sitting in the car waiting for the red light to turn green when I slipped into the drivers seat and took a quick snapshot of the photo. It turned out marvelous and I hope you all enjoy it. It is not edited, none of my pictures are. I try to bring out the true nature of objects to their greatest form. This is one of them. :]

2nd Submission :: Sunshine ___Hello, Sunshine! This picture was taken going home from a trip I had that day. The field is happy and joyous and delightful all into one picture. If you don't know your crops, then I can tell you that this is soybeans before a harvest. :] This picture was taken in Polk, Georgia. I tried o convey a sense of peaceful, serene, and calm with a little bit of happiness and vibrancy. Once again, unedited.

3rd Submission :: Broken ___This is one of my more eerie photos. I loved it because it is located on the historic River Street of Savannah, Georgia. Unfortunately, I can not tell you the story behind the building, but that is what makes it so eerie and interesting. It brings a sense of wonder and bone chilling feel to your body, which is what I wanted you to feel when seeing it. I did not edit this.

4th Submission :: Summer School ___Last, but surely not least, I bring you my first photo taken with my camera. I will not remove the watermark as I have had tons of people steal this picture. In this photo, I bring you a vibrant collection of painted fish made of tin from old barns. This photo was taken in Savannah, Georgia. I wanted to bring a happy and joyous feeling to this photo and I think I executed it well. This is a classic example of what the beach life is in Georgia.

o1 ; Toronto Lights I took this summer of 'o8 at the CNE (that's the Canadian National Exhibition for those who don't know.). The main focus is the pretty lights on the rides + the CN tower. I was standing in the parking lot, on my way to the Roger's Chinese Lantern Festival, when I noticed how pretty the skyline was, so I took a picture, well, actually, I took five, but this one was the least blurry. I want the viewer to feel like a kid, from the rides, yet grown up, from the darkness. I don't know if that makes sense, but it's hard to convey the way I feel it should make you feel.
The only editing I did was cropping out the parking lot full of cars at the bottom, and a teensy weensy bit of exposure adjusting to get rid of some of the blur.
I hope you like it c:.
