Now that her "surgery" was complete, Tsukiko was putting her systems back online as people left and hours passed. It was an arduous process to say the least and consisted of many self scans and many scans of her environment as her body adjusted to the new hardware inside her. It was finally complete when she sensed someone nearing her, though outside of the labs. She heard shouting, but didn't really know who it was. "I guess no one knows how to knock around here..." She said, sliding off the bench and sidling off towards the door. She went through the annoying yet necessary process of entering a pass word on the computer, and then having her retinal print taken. The door then clicked and she swung it open to reveal Elisia and someone she wasn't familiar with. "Oh, it's you." She muttered, looking down at her friend. "Need something?"

"Well, is the Lieutenant or anyone who could give us this information available, then?" asked Tadashi.

(So guys, how are we transiting from here to the Main Arc rp?)

Surprised, Tadashi stood there a moment and glanced at Elisia. One could just tell he wanted to continue pursuing the object of his Captain's orders, but also held an urge to step through the Senkaimon. Finally, he decided to indulge this urge, assuming he was the best person to represent Squad 9 in what seemed to be an important matter (as the Captain could be leagues away from wherever the trouble originated and the Vice Captain was nowhere to be found).

He stepped through the Senkaimon, but turned his head back at Elisia.

"Coming?" he asked, just before disappearing.

After a series of scans and passwords, Hei entered into the Main Lab area in a bit of a hurry. His urgency was made obvious by his facial expression and general quickened pace. He swiftly strode across the labs and disappeared into the back lab where he found his Reiryoku Yokuatsu Gaitō that Tsukiko had apparently worn to the 1st Division Training Grounds where she had retrieved his Zanpakutō and first encountered Aurelius. Running his fingers along the fabric, ho noticed it smelled of his sister which confused him since Tsukiko had been the last one to wear it. It hit him where he had left it last: he had brought it with him when he was avoiding Mochi and had left in Yuki's room. She must have kept it all this time and Tsukiko must have found it in her room and brought it with her and then left it in here. His wrist-like communication device let out a series of short beeps that signaled that he had little more than a minute to get to the Human World. That is, if he intended to keep his word to Tomomi, which for once in his life, he actually did. Running a hand through his hair, he sucked in a deep breath and threw the cloak over his shoulders. Making his way back out to the labs, Hei bid the still stationary Hideki adieu and then touched his fingertips together. "My right hand is the stone that bridges worlds. My left hand is the blade that binds reality. The black-haired shepherd is hung from a chair. Stratus clouds come, and I strike down the ibis." A small garganta ripped itself open across the open space of the labs, revealing a swirling mass of torrential energy. Without any manner of hesitation, Hei stepped inside and beneath his feet, a solid, discernible pathway took shape, connecting his exit to the bright light that lay several hundred feet away. He calmly walked most of the way, getting his emotions in order. He spent the latter part of the walk throwing compassion to the wind, telling himself that he could go easy on his Reiatsu, even if Tsukiko would be there. Nearing three seconds left before he was to be there, he used Shundō to close the gap.

A bright green light engulfed the lab area and a second later the area distorted for a second as Lee, Eriko, Hei, and Aurelius all appeared. Looking around for a second Lee brought Eriko to the nearest table and gently set Eriko down on it looking down at her for a few moments. "I was not aware of what he had done with your attack. How you must be feeling inside Eriko-san. Do not worry it happens to the best of us." Brushing a few stray strands of hair out of her face his right hand lingered gently on her cheek. "You will just have to let go of the fact that your attack was rebounded. Nobody blames you I am sure." Letting his hand drop he turned away towards Hei and Aurelius unsure if she was conscious enough to even comprehend his words. His eyes lingered on Aurelius looking at the cryogenically frozen boy with slight pity. "Someone so small having such power. It truly is fascinating. I understand that you are still alive just effectively brain dead. As such I have to wonder if you can hear what is going on around you? To know how helpless you truly were in the end. Knowing the outcome of a battle or how an opponent will attack means nothing without the ability to do something about it. How foolish you were."

Then finally turning to the dead body of Hei encased in the barrier the previous hatred still present on his face though to a much lesser degree. "It is truly troublesome to see one such as you fall so easily. Granted your arrogance had a part in it. Now you leave Seireitei absent one of it's strongest Taicho and your family without a protector. They are strong but how strong in the face of your death is a curious thing. Tsukiko-san seems to be doing well on the surface not on the inside of course but Yuki-san has lost it. I just want you to know the cost of your arrogance. Even if you can't hear me. Still even in your dieing moments you destroyed the brooch and gave us a chance. I will never understand you Hei. Perhaps it is because of my biased opinion but I can't help but see arrogance and narcissism when I look at you. Still I suppose this is nothing that need be said now that you are dead. Whatever good bye. Rest in peace a*****e." That was a bout the extent of what Lee could think to voice aloud for no one save perhaps Eriko to hear. After finishing Lee rejected his Zanpakuto sending it to a separate location for the time being and sighed.

Things did not look well at all. Sure Lee sounded confident and everything back on the filed of battle and he would no doubt keep his word and oppose Dolor to the death if need be yet the situation was still bleak. Hei was dead. Yuki now a mere child without Hei's know how of how to fix her. Tsukiko was obviously on the point of breaking. Most of the Shinigami present were still in shock by the death of the seemingly invincible Hei and visibly shaken. If Dolor did decide to pursue them in Soul Society they would probably be easy pickings. Another reason for Lee to hate Hei for having to push it and get himself killed. They wouldn't have these problems had Hei just reacted in a very unHei-like way though that was like asking a hollow not to feed on human spirits. In Lee's mind their current predicament was partially his fault. Still there was nothing to do about it at this time. Letting sadness fill his face for a second at the potential loss of all they had built because of their opposition to the Exaequere. Letting out a small almost inaudible sigh he got his usual expression back on his face as he walked towards the exit stopping before doing so. Folding his left arm across his chest he rested his right elbow on it then put his hand in front of his mouth as he began thinking. Surely Tsukiko wouldn't be a whole lot longer. Lee wasn't about to leave the bodies here without anybody here.
