Schraeder, instead, sank into thoughtful silence. After all, it wasn't his place to tell the others what powers to choose. He would rather think on his own choice.

Finnegan nodded, happy that they were okay. He felt his pain fading and he managed to sit up. He opened his eyes as he thought.
"I suppose I'll take Speed, then, eh? It sounds like me, ya know?"
He stopped for a moment before continuing, "Now, these sigils, they don't have any unpleasant side-effects, do they? Ya know, low blood sugar...cancer...death, maybe?"

Adela looked at Lionel thoughtfully. "I think I'll go with healing. It looks like I'm gonna be surrounded by battle-ready people. I think I'll stick with something that'll keep me in the shadows somewhat."

Lisha simply said, "Shadow." She gave no reason, but it was suspected it had to do with her name. She closed her eyes for a second, then opened them again, slowly.
She had thought about it:
First off, it goes with my name well. "Darkness before midnight" and shadow. Perfect.
Also, controlling shadows? Seems kind of like me. Able to do something, but not right there.
Anyway, for every light, there is a shadow.
((I've always like the idea of manipulating energy....takins some from Person A and giving it to Person B))

"Healing is good; it'll be specific enough. 'Shadow', however, may be a little too vague," Lionel told her. "Vagueness ends up with things going... not as may be planned. Keep thinking, I don't know that much about being empowered by Shadow.
"Also, you - Finnegan, right? Checked your license..." Lionel said, scratching the back of his head and looking away for a moment. "Anyway, just know that we can't do any more training for you, unless you need to learn to run and jump and such - parkour, I believe it's called. Nobody here's a professional, but... we could gather information fast enough."

She cursed her idiocy. She never saud things right.
