He slowly accepted the hand and stood. Cursing himself he pulled away and headed to the nearest exit. He needed to get out of here. Clear his head. That's when he sensed a familiar presence. s**t. He thought and glanced at the others not sure why. They both seemed ready for a fight. Fine by me. He thought sneaking past he headed down the stairs. Good luck tackling the boss. He thought rolling his eyes for wishing luck to a former enemy and he tried to meld into the shadows. He had his own problems to deal with.

So what took you?" River asked glancing at Gig. Stupid Gig for worrying her like that. Though she knew she should have trusted he would be alright. She did not see any new enemies, but something told her to keep her guard up.

River blinked following him down the steps. "Wait you were WHAT?" She asked annoyed. Of all the stupid, selfish annoying things to do... She thought nearly marching after Gig.

The broken roads made the walking a bit difficult. Least it did for River. She ironically was following Gig's train of thought. Seeing this world that once held such beauty was a shell.

Great... She thought sarcastically looking up seeing their next challenge. Gripping her blades she calmed her hands and stood slightly behind Gig hoping to help somewhat.

The large almost ball looking mech unit would smash its hand in to the damaged street, smashing the concrete under metal fist very easily. "Hah hah hah! You dont have what it takes to take me on in this! Ill show you real power and ill take your head back to the President and ill get promoted to Turk in no time!....I just ask you one thing...DIE!" The large gun on the top of the mech unit would aim its turret nearly point blank at giglamesh and a mechanism on the gun would c**k, and then with a very heavy blast and shock wave from the sheer power fire a large cannon round point blank at giglamesh.

Giglamesh just stood there even from the shock wave of dust as it impacted its hands in to the ground, Giglamesh even crossed his arms staring the machine down with a incredibly serious look. Then even as it pointed the cannon he stood there arms crossed, right as it cocked he held out his left hand nearly touching the barrel and then as it fired the bullet nearly instantly exploded. This caused giglamesh to launch back very quickly where he would skip across the ground once and then head and back first threw a small little wall, that was once a building breaking it smashing to pieces. He seemed to slowly float back first to the ground looking to be unconscious, but at last instant tucked and rolled landing on his feet on ground sliding backwards a few feet from the force of the blast. He would stand a small trickle of blood rolling down the right side of his face from his forehead. "...You...rely upon a machine for power......ill show you the errors of standing behind a mechanical shield to fight!" Giglamesh would place another cig in the left corner of his lips and light it with a chrome zippo that had the symbol of ace of spades in black on the lighter. Clanking it closed and returning it to his pocket he would adjust the mp3 player located in his skull belt buckle. "...Play times over river..." As if he wasnt before, giglamesh was dead serious at this moment, and it was time for his counter attack.

Giglamesh was tense and river could more then likely feel it, he hated machines. River took the initiative, and literally began to move firing around gig using him mostly as cover as he had shown her to do many times before. Giglamesh would literally turn his back to the large robot and walk away. He saw how long it took for that gun to reload a round so he knew he was in the clear for what he was going to do. He would approach his casket and turn his back to it. "If your going to use a machine as your weapon......then ill turn it in to your casket!" Giglamesh would swing his right arm back knocking the casket causing a what sounded like funeral bell to ring, and at same time would active it. The duel swing doors on the casket would swing open and fling out a massive great sword that spun incredibly high in to the air. Giglamesh just stood there and would raise his right hand bending it at the elbow and hold his hand open close to his shoulder. Gravity would win the battle with the massive blade, and the blade would slow and begin spinning back towards the ground and at giglamesh very quickly, yet he only stood there.

As the blade came down the blade would spin very close to his shoulder barley missing, and the handle would come around perfectly in to his hand, which he slashed the large blade, being at least seven foot in length, vertically down stopping it straight out as if pointing it. The slash, spin, and sheer weight of the blade caused a small shock wave of dust to part on the ground around giglamesh. "Hissatsu Ichigeki its time to roar and sink your teeth in to your metal prey! Giglamesh would then grab the back of the large grab and the ring located there, then he would slash the blade down and to his right side keeping his left hand where it was. This pulled the chain on the blade motor and started the engine, magic swirled about his right hand as he pumped it in to the blade as a fuel source, the what was just a serrated blade began to rapidly rotate around the blade of the sword, it was a massive chain saw. Suddenly giglamesh would begin to draw his arm back but kept the blade pointing forward at the robot and he would hold his left hand up as if chanting, but fire would come off his finger tips as he touched them to the flat side of blade and he would move his right arm back and slide his left hand along the flat surface of the blade. Where and as it touched red runes would advance from where he touched flames following these runes as if they were paths of fuel to the bladed teeth. As it made it to them the teeth caught on fire but nearly instantly was put out from the speed of the spinning blades, however the teeth began to glow red hot and this caused the spinning bladed chain to glow as if it was a energy blade, a frighting sight indeed.

He would flip the sword to hold the guard on his right shoulder, and he would hold out his left hand signaling with his fingers as if saying "come on" as if oking the robot to try its attack again in a very arrogant way. As well as he gold magic would come off his hand and a large rune would spin at his feet as he re cast haste.

The mecha would hover above the damaged streets towards giglamesh slowly. "you talk and talk yet i dont see you doing anything!" The cannon would again aim at giglamesh and ready to fire, but suddenly. On all the screens large warning would appear flashing overheating over and over. a female voice would say it out loud over and over then it would say "Activating forced cool down mode". Suddenly the machine would stop hovering and just drop to the ground and the metal panels that covered the mech and completely brushed off rivers bullets would literally extend out away from the mech on hydraulic pistons. doing this exposed the black with red line transfers threw out it circuited interior and it literally was letting so much heat that one it distorted vision past it, like when heat comes off asphalt on a hot summer day. The commander didnt know what was going on and he was in the machine smacking and bating the machines controls trying to get it to do something, but nothing came back on. "Com on work you poeice of s**t WORK!"
