heres a hat i made for my friends birthday not long ago.

thats so beautiful! what did you use to make it? its so hard for me to make a hat that good

I actually used some hard cardboard tubing for the main bit, then i just sewed on a patch o the top for the top to be closed...it's fairly simple but sometimes it doesn't work how you want it too ^^;;

Me and my friend are starting up a mini top hat buisness on Ebay soon, using things like thick material (i can't remember the proper name for it) to keep the hat upright (:

Here's the bottom part of an outfit I made, when I was more into sweet lolita. I don't really like the current pictures of me wearing it...the last time I did, bright pink soda got spilled all over my blouse. sweatdrop

A petticoat that ended up annoying me by bunching up beneath my skirt. I need to add an over layer so it doesn't stick to my skirts.

PearlZenith: Love the skirts! The different layers make it look more complex.
I'd still like to see the pics of you wearing it though... blaugh

I just finished a headband [it started as a headpiece, but I decided to make it cover my ears] for me to wear this winter when it's chilly out-- I crocheted it to match my winter pea coat! I'm debating putting cat ears on it-- but I think it might be kind of silly? In fact-- I think, if I do one with ears, I'll make it smaller and thinner. But yea.

This is the first crochet project I've done in a few years! I'm proud.

Please excuse my puffy face-- I stayed up until two AM to get it done in one sitting because I'm a nut. ^_^;

Finished the ear one! I need.. to work on it. It turned out that cat ears were too hard to do without some sort of support, so I let them curl over into puppy ears. X3
I'll try and make a white cat one later this week, I think, since I have some white felt that might be able to support the ears.

Even my roommate, who has only a vague understanding of why I did it thinks that it's adorable. I can't wait to wear it Friday. :3

That might be paaaainfully cute. I was actually teasing a friend last night about making him a bunny-ear headband because he wants to shave his head and he bounces around ... a lot. I think when I get the felt I need for the cat-ear one, I'll buy extra for the bunny ear lining.

Thanks! ^^

I don't do it very well, actually. All of my craft-stuff I've learned from watching my mom or from tutorials online. So. Yeah. o___o;
You can get away with mistakes with crochet, though, if you've got tight stitches, so it's all good. Sewing, though.. whew. I just wing it. ^_^;
So far, I've managed to make some really nifty stuff, though, without using patterns. Trial and error is a glorious thing.

I'm more accustomed to criticism than compliments, so it feels weird. XD
But thank you, very much. :3
I'm working on a white and purple one right now--I'm thinking that I'll put the bunny ears on this one like Cloudy suggested.
