i play piccolo and first flute, but we don't have chairs. everyone plays the same part unless called for, and our director chooses who gets the solos. usually hannah, cause we only have two seniors. three of us take lessons, and one is a second, but we both got a I- at solo ensemble.

I'm first chair bass clarinet at my school. But then again, we're one to a part because we're a small band. ALTHOUGH, I was first chair in All-County, All-Area, and in band 3 at a university honor band last year. This year, I stepped up the honor band chair to second chair, second band. That means I was third overall. Not bad for fighting against people from 9 states for it...

I guess I'm first. The other girl just started out this year. Whenever she asks the BD about something on the flute, he's always like "ask Karina." "She'll show you." It's quite annoying, but I'm glad to help her. (:

I'm 1'st, but our section has a tie between 4 of us trumpets. The sad part is that there's only 5 of us. sweatdrop
