Ellandra smiled at him and shook her head a little. "I - I already said I don't mind," she said quietly. Tilting her head a little and wiping at her eyes again, - more succesfully this time, as her tears had mostly stopped - she said, "If - if I minded. . . I w-would have thrown you to your c-caffeinated baboons."
She sighed a little and bit her lip. " I - I don't think I could b-bear to see you go y-yet........ you - y-you really s-scared me. . . H-have you e-ever thought a-about seeing a doctor a-about all of th-this...? Z-ziazan told me you've - you've always had th-this happen...."
Okay, truthfully, he hadn't scared her.
He'd completely terrified her out of her mind, but she didn't need him to start feeling guilty about something he couldn't help.

"I've seen doctors on it. Most tend to think it's from my having been ill as a baby, but a few said it was a heart condition. It's not going to kill me, no worries there," Fao said softly, hugging her a little since his arms were already around her. "I didn't mean to scare you, darlin'. I didn't even want you to know I had this problem . . . at least till you knew me better. I don't seem to get much say on when it occurs, though."
He could tell she was still worrying herself sick, though, and sighed. Moving a bit, he shifted so he could reach up and pull her down. "Come here, lass." Tilting his head up so she avoided his horns, he brought her down into a gentle kiss, trying to show her he was okay, that he wasn't going to suddenly die on her.

Ellandra relaxed when Faolan kissed her, though she still felt rather worried for him. She wasn't letting him leave anytime soon though, not at all. Not until she was sure he was up to it - which meant conferring with Ziazan, probably, to make sure the fortune-teller was okay at some point.

Faolan made a small noise of pleasure, not at all minding kissing a pretty girl being the chosen method of relaxing after an episode. He shifted a bit, keeping one arm around Ellandre's neck and moved the other so he could put his hand on the floor, giving himself leverage to push up and deepen the kiss.
The little Essentic raised its almost non-existent eyebrow and cleared its tiny throat, still sitting on its owner's chest. Ziazan didn't exactly care what Fao did. After all, it could feel the emotions the young man had for the girl, but it also felt that the last thing Faolan needed was to get his heart racing after suffering the arrhythmia episode.

Ellandra let him deepen the kiss for just a moment, then broke away, blinking down at Faolan. "Y-you need to rest," she said softly - and justa bit breathily. She smiled at Ziazan to say she understood its reason for fussing. "A-and between myself and Zia, y-you'll be sure to," she added. "A-am I right, little one?" She asked the proto, brushing her hair back over her shoulders - it had fallen all around her face earlier and she hadn't bothered to move it back until now.

"Indeed. A soft pillow and a glass of water would do you some good, Faolan," the Essentic said, pointing a small wing at its owner.
Faolan gave a cheeky grin, letting his arms rest around Ellandra's waist again. "Got the pillow covered. How about you go get me the water, Zia?"
The proto just looked like it wanted to smack the young man, if only it had bigger hands.

Ellandra giggled. "F-Faolan, you can't st-stay like this forever, m-my legs are f-falling asleep!" She smiled at him, then at Ziazan. "I th-think a r-real p=pillow might be more c-comfortable any - anyway," she added. "N-not to mention you're more likely t-to actually rest!"
She wouldn't mind staying in that position, really, but Faolan wouldn't rest as well as if he were made comfortable with a real pillow - and she really didn't need her legs falling asleep, either.

Faolan was a little disappointed to have Ellandra's lap replaced with a pillow, but didn't protest. "Alright, love, but lay beside me awhile, okay?"

"O-oh, I d-don't know," Ellandra said, smiling softly. "I - I mean, I have s-so many things to do - l-like get yelled at by my editor." She giggled softly. "W-wait here just a moment," she said quietly, trying to ease him into a relatively comfortable position while she rose and headed to her bedroom to get some pillows. She hurried as quickly as she could, and was back within moments with two extremely fluffy pillows that were in plain white pillowcases.
"H-here," she said, quickly setting about making the fortune-teller more comfortable, getting him a large glass of water. She knelt beside him, still concerned but not panicky like she had been before. "I-is there a-anything else I - I can get you?"

Fao sat up to sip at the water, then set the glass down on the coffee table what lept out and hit him when he fell, then rested back on the pillows. He took the girl's hand in his, tugging gently. "You could come here and snuggle with me a bit. I won't bite."

"I - I don't know," Ellandra said, tapping a finger to her chin and smiling. "W-will that help you rest?" Her grey eyes sparkled as her worry faded a way a bit. Faolan would be fine, she could tell that now - though he definitely did need to rest. She glanced over at Ziazan. "W-what d-do you think, little one? W-what would be best f-for him, hmm?"

The Essentic gave a snort of laughter, waving a small wing. "Snuggle with him so he'll shut up."
"See? Zia's totally on my side with this. Just . . . for a little while, anyway, okay?" Fao said softly, tugging at Ellandra's hand again. After the scare he'd given her, however unintentional, he wanted to know she wasn't going to treat him like some fragile bit of glass. He wanted her to hold him and know he was every bit as strong as he had been when he'd been the one to pick her up off the ground the night before.

Ellandra moved over next to Faolan, hesitating for a moment bfore snuggling up to him - he was still extremely tall compared to her, even reclining like he was doing now. She'd always known she was tiny, but she hadn't realized just how small she was until she was so close to a much-taller person.
"P-please don't b-be upset. . . . I - I know I - I w-worry too m-much..... a-about everything....."

The young man moved a bit so Elle had her head on his chest, able to hear that his heartbeat--while still skipping beats every so often--had calmed down. "I don't mind being worried over. People at the carnival don't really get concerned over each other too much." He sighed softly, body relaxing under the girl, and closed his eyes, just enjoying the closeness. Though he remained still, he quirked a wry grin. "Sorry about scaring you like that. The coffee table's okay, right?"

Ellandra relaxed a bit, listening to Faolan's heartbeat. "I - I don't see h-how. . . . p-people can't - w-worry about each - each o-other. . .. . b-but then, my father w-worried too m-much. . ." She sighed. "Th- the coffee table's g-going to the dump on a-assault and b-battery charges.
