Noltic Nich looked at Ris again, and thought of how young all these people were. Not to mention how inquisitive he was. "Ya... thats ancient greek philosophy for ya. In a nutshell, id rather not know what room i was in until i have to. Yuou'llprobably read allegory of the cave sometime when your here. It's a big deal." Nich held the door for Ris as they crossed out of the crowded administrative building onto the lawn.
The cool breeze felt good as it swirled around Ris. She looked at the open door, she didn't know what Nich was holding it open for her, but she stepped outside after a moments' hesitation. The lawn was lush and green, so she kicked off her shoes and socks and carried them in her hands. The grass felt comforting to her bare toes. It reminded her of home, where she'd be barefoot all day. "It's nice out here," she said to Nich.((I'm gonna be away all weekend again... What happened to my roommate? They complained I wasn't on, and now they're not on? Well, see ya Monday! ))

((I dont even have aroom... my clever ruse with anti-knowledge was justa ploy while the establishment tells me what room))
Nich Followed the trend and kicked off his sandlas and tossed them in his bag. he loved to walk barefoot at home, and the bottom of his feet were marred and calussed to the point of looking pretty gross, but he could have cared less.
"It is pretty nice, i think i may enjoy this mild weater. Back home you would never know wether it was gonnae be warm or cold."

A light breeze ruffled the pages of her book and Mai turned her attention back to it, checking her watch in the process. She wondered absentmindedly if there was some sort of curfew or time when students at least needed to be inside. Oh well, I've nearly finished, I won't be here very long.

((I am so sorry about taking so long to answer! My laptop's batteries died, and then my charger broke, and now I have to use the family computer! I won't be able to be on as much as usual! I'm soooo sorry!))

Xiang thought for a second. 'I think,' She paused for a second, 'It was to get away from my parents, and they're legal stuff.' She looked down at the floor, she thought it was wrong to be so disrespectful.
Timathy yawned, 'Well I'm sorry, I'm an early sleeper.'

((Um...No one instantly has a room. You have to make a request for one at the front desk in the main office. The receptionist is an NPC, which are all played by me. Sorry.))

Balthezar walks up to the front desk. "Hello, I have this letter." she says to the receptionist. She shuffles through her items, pulling out a letter and handing it to the receptionist, saying "I would like a single room, if at all possible." as she does so. She looks about nervously, waiting for her room assignment.

((Sorry for the short posts, can't think of much to do at the mo))
Mai looked up from her book every now and then when someone came past. Across the field, she noticed a winding grey path that cut through the green, as well as the few small groups dotted about the benches and the pair lying on the grass. Turning the page, she considered finding out where the path led, deciding to wander that way after she'd finished.

Zaine wandered the halls of his new school. He saw many students he didnt recognize. He heard little tidbits of small talk but soon grew bored of the conversations. He went outside for a while and sat down. 'I wonder who will have the guts enough this time to walk up to me and try and start a conversation.' Since he had just gotten here he didnt have classes for two days so he could get to know the building. He sat there for a while leaned back on a bench and shut his eyes. He never meant to fall asleep just tried very well to make it seem like he was. This was a tactic of his to throw off annoying hover-ers.

They are waiting for the next day. ]] ((It wasn't you I was talking about... )) Ris looked over at Nich," I know what you mean, one second it's sunny and nice, and the next it's dark as night and raining," she sighed. She loved the rained, the way it smelled and everything. "I don't think I'm going to be missing home very much, maybe the outdoors, but that's it," she told him. She sat down and laid on her stomach, playing with the grass.When the girl gave him no reply, he turned and found his way to the cafeteria, there were few students inside. He went to the food line and picked out some food, he then sat down and began to eat, slowly, for the first time in his life, as he took in everything around him.((Eh, I'm not going to be on very much at all this week... Still moving and getting situated and all that... The last things to be moved are the comp, the bed, the food, and the pets. ))

Nich sat down beside her, crosse legged. he didnt really feel comfortable enough with this girl yet to lay down. For all his talk about being open and relaxed, he was really edgy when it came to actual closeness or god forbid physical contact.
"So Ris... tell me about yourself, what type of things would occupy your spare time.?"

Folding the novel into her lap, Mai leaned her head back against the solid trunk of the tree and sighed. She relished the warmth of the afternoon sun on her face, but her stomach had reminded her she hadn't eaten for a while. Lynsie had kindly volunteered to prepare dinner later, so maybe she could grab a snack from the school's cafeteria for now.
Rising from her place on the grass, Mai slung her bag across her shoulder. Walking over to the path, she passed through the groups of students and in between the benches. Looking around, she noticed one student on a bench; was he sleeping? She paused and glanced more closely at his expression. He looked fairly asleep.
