I play flute and it'll be my 2nd year of being 1st chair concert band. lol We played for my director in the middle of May so I already know for next year. lol But there is a girl who was in symphonic who is now 3 chairs behind me so I'm cool with the situation. rofl

This year I am Flute section leader, 1st chair, and I'm also in Guard! mrgreen
I have been playing since 6th grade and now I'm in 10th, I have never been in bottom band or not been first chair. mrgreen ninja

Oboe. ONLY CHAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, we might get another next year, (Its summer time here) but, as of now, ONLY CHAIR!!!!

I'm a flute, 2nd chair xd My friend is way ahead of me though xp We got to do the Peter Pan Musical for our school though xd yay us! it was fun!

You must have some skill! There are 30 flute players in all the bands combined! I'm 4th in my Ensamble band, and I was utterly SHOCKED that a freshman could make that!

bassoon 1st chair (second and third at honor bands)
flute 1st chair until i switched to bassoon
learning baritone for marching season (coming along good in a few weeks)

Nariko_Yosei I'm a flute, 2nd chair xd My friend is way ahead of me though xp We got to do the Peter Pan Musical for our school though xd yay us! it was fun! our school did that 2 years ago my brother was Captain Hook this year we did Your a Good Man Charlie Brown i played in that one our school doesnt have chairs (i wish we did) but im put on second part even though i should be on first part because i can hit the notes with much better tone quality and the person the plays first doesnt even care about band anymore and doesnt do any after school so in after school when i play first parts my range is starting to deteriorate because the second parts seem to rarely go above a high d (im a Trombone btw)
