EDIT: Sapphire could feel the hair on the back of her neck stand on end and crouched closer to the ground. Ooooh boy....should have stayed on the wall. Too big and too close for her likeing...and creepy. Really creepy. "Yeah, you're not exactly normal height yourself." she replied. Normally she would have made a bit of a retort for something about her size. Nothing big, because really she wasn't that tall. Something along the lines of 'You look like the Kingpin on a good day' or 'You look like the next mascot for Peptobismol'. But she didn't want this thing mad at her. She really didn't...at least not while she was on ground level. She multiplied the strands she had around her and making them surround her more a bit. He made one move to grab her and her strands would turn into a ball-like shield around her and she'd show him another little trick of hers.

"What's this?"
Greed noticed the strands that she had; she must have felt threatened by Greed's size or something, though it was probably his bad breath. Seeing as Sapphire was preparing herself for an attack, Greed decided to mess with her. The most disturbing thing he could think of was a hug since Greed wasn't exactly cuddly or adorable, so asking for a hug along with his strength could freak Sapphire out. If for some odd reason she went for it, Greed wouldn't try to kill her, but at least teach her a lesson to never accept hug offers from large evil looking monsters.
"Are you scared? How about a hug!"
Greed stood at full height and spread his arms open as he attempted to lightly grab Sapphire with both of them; he could have tried using full strength, but that might hurt her badly enough so they couldn’t play anymore and that would mean Greed would have to go back to trying to find Web Head.

Sapphire didn't even wait for him to reach for her. The moment he fully stood and started to move, her strands wove themselves into a solid blue ball around her. A patch of blue formed on the wall where Sapphire had been, and started to move and grow into coccoon shape. A moment later it split in half and peeled away, unraveling into strands again. Sapphire sat on the wall looking down at him. "Sorry, but once you've gotten a hug from the Kingpin, getting hugs from someone twice your size is out of the question. No hard feelings, right?" That was kind of the truth. Getting a 'hug' from baldy was bad enough, this guy looked like he could break her in half if he squeezed. And he was right, she hated fighting people that could easily crush / run over / eat her. She really wasn't as strong as most supers physically, so taking on someone with this much strength made her nervous. Though...she wasn't sure wether he was trying to get her or just mess with her anymore. Either way she seemed to be keeping him busy. She could go with that. No smashing anything or going after anyone else.

Greed turned around where he heard Sapphire's voice and started to clap at the cool trick she had just did; to get away; Spiderman couldn't do that at all. Judging by all of her powers, Greed was tempted to call her Spider Sorceress since she seemed more magical then like a spider, but she chose her name and Greed chose his; it was a fair balance of choice. Greed wanted to show her a trick too since she was the one doing all the work to keep him so entertained; it was only fair for it to be his turn. Greed stepped forward and grabbed into the wall, driving his fingers and feet into the structure and looking up to Sapphire.
"My turn! Now you see me..."
Greed looked down for a moment and then looked at the texture of the wall for a quick moment before activating his own powers. Using his ability to change his skin texture and color, Greed soon blended into the spot he was in, becoming invisible to the human eye.
"Now you don't..."
Greed assumed that Sapphire Spider sense like Web Head and he wasn't exactly sure if he was unable to trigger it like Venom; the Commissar had studied Venom's fight with Spiderman and that knowledge was passed on to the Symbiote. It was unknown whether Venom's Symbiote didn't trigger Spiderman's Spidey Sense because at one time it was connected to him or if Symbiotes just avoided it regularly due to a trait. Greed wasn't taking chances and inched very slowly, hopefully slow enough to both change his skin based upon his movement and to not activate Sapphire's Spider Sense if she even had one.

Sapphire quickly got to a crouching position rather than sitting on the wall. Crap. Crap, crap, crap. As if he wasn't bad enough...now he...oh it would be reeaally nice to have that spider sence thing right about now. "Uh, wow. Really wasn't expecting that. Definately surprised." she said, trying hard to keep her voice from sounding nervous. Instinctively she started to slowly inch farther up the wall, activating the strands to hover around her again. She didn't see him or hear him, and she wasn't sure if he could get up the wall or not.

Batman, who had handcuffed Scorpion to prevent his escape, saw the color change effect that this Greed character had done. He knew a way around it. He took another Bat-smoke granade from his utility belt and threw it about a foot ahead of where Greed had been before. The grenade went off, and smoke filled the area. He knew to look for the space that didn't fill with smoke properly.

"Aw...Batman ruined my fun! Bruce Wayne must be paying you overtime!"
Greed's shape showed up easily within the smoke, but he didn't remain there for long and instead tried focusing to the other parts of the wall. Instead of heading towards Sapphire Spider, Greed climb diagonally to another part of the wall; now that Batman was involved, Greed needed to play hard ball and stop fooling around. Together, Batman and Sapphire Spider could prove a threat to Greed which was apparent with the smoke grenade tactic. Greed stuck to the shadows where blending was better and used all of his speed to move fast. The only problem was his hand and feet left marks in the wall; the faster he went, the bigger the marks. This use of camouflage wouldn't work if he moved fast, yet Greed needed to in order to keep them guessing. Greed finally stopped ten feet away from where he originally was, waiting and staying to still to wait for an opportunity.

Sapphire turned towards where the trail of busted holes led and backed up a bit to get into a better stance. She felt a little better now, knowing that he had moved away from her and had an idea of where he had gone to. Still, he was playing hide and seek with cloaking abilities. Not that fun... She could spread her strands out and across the wall, knowing that when they bumped into something it would probably be him. But she didn't know if she'd be able to do it fast enough or even if he was still in that area. He could see the strands coming at him and find a way to move around them. Probably be best to stay on the defensive for the moment.

Greed saw the strands that Sapphire was using and would normally let them touch him since he liked to give clues to where he was, but Greed was outnumbered and did his best to avoid them. Greed took one hand and clawed deeply into the ceiling and hung by that alone, allowing easy dodge of the strands, but now his was kind of stuck; he was slipping from the ceiling. Greed tried to regain his grip several times, but failed and slipped falling towards the floor. In one instant, Greed landed on the floor of the Batcave and creating a crater. Instantly, Greed's skin reverted to the fleshy pink of before. Greed moaned a bit out of embarrassment, not of pain; he barely felt the fall. The crater was quite big due to Greed's size and he desperately hoped Batman didn't know who he was; the bill for the damages would be huge. Greed stood up and rubbed his head, peaking over the edge of the crater to see what was going on.

Sapphire jumped a bit as what sounded like something exploded on the floor not far from her. She turned and stared at Greed inside the crater a moment. She didn't know how high he had been, but for him to make a hole like that...yeah, best to not get too close to him.//g2g2 work for bout an hour. be back on later. //

Greed was still reluctant to come of the crater because of Batman on the ground and Sapphire on the wall; he wouldn't know how he would fair against the two in combat. Upon further though, Greed decided staying in one place too long would be costly and maybe a quick change in color could help him escape and attack one of them with their guard down. Greed needed to think of an idea, but then he got one that he thought was a really good idea, to him at least. Changing his Symbiote color to Sapphire Spider’s costume color scheme, Greed hopped out of the crater using his arms and landed with a thud on the edge.
"Look at me! I'm Sapphire! Attack the imposter!"
Greed only looked like Sapphire Spider color wise, but he still had the same build and stupid grin, but it was a desperate act for a desperate situation and hopefully the situation didn't end up as bad as Greed's Sapphire Spider impression. Greed did a dance too in order to further increase how much of a failure the disguise was, clearly demonstrating how unserious he was about the whole situation.

// That...is just the strangest little mental image...and not good to read in a quiet library...lol // ".............." Sapphire really....didn't know what to say. She simply sat where she was staring down at him. Was he being serious, showing off again, or trying to make fun of her or something? She didn't know how she should react to that. At first she felt a little offended, then a smile made it's way across her face. She had to put a hand over the lower half of her mask when he did the little dance. It wouldn't have mattered really; she had a full face mask so he wouldn't have been able to see her grin. But she had to in order to keep from laughing. "Well, the...the color is definat...much better..." she managed without giggling. Ah, man...don't laugh at him, don't laugh at him...

Batman walked up beside her, no trace of humor on his face. The crater would be expensive, but as Bruce Wayne, he could always get money, and using his nom de guerre of Matches Malone, he could easily secure the equiptment needed to fix it without ever drawing attention to Bruce Wayne or Batman. He simply glared at Greed, then threw a Bat-bola at the feet of Greed, trying to tie his feet up. They've held against the likes of Killer Croc, so he didn't worry about then breaking.

"Hey! I'm Sapphire Spider! Attack the one beside you!"
Greed felt the device wrap around his legs and he immediately fell over, as well as change back to his previous flesh pink color. This wouldn't hold back Greed since he just changed the texture of his skin to a baby smooth level to get it off. With some yanking and the device's traction, it slipped off on its own, but only to his feet. Greed needed to get this thing off, but it was being difficult as he attempted to break it. Greed could have broken it more easily if it wasn't on his legs; he was stronger than Rhino, but his legs were still kind of a weakness. Using his thick, arms, Greed began to walk on his hand; his head twisting to be upright despite the fact he was upside down.
"Look at what I can do!"
Greed chuckled at himself for amusement as he transformed his color tone to that of Batman's, mostly being a mixture of grey, blue, and black. Greed was in a cheery mood and was on the verge of forgetting his original target: Spiderman. That didn't come before Aleksei and the Symbiote's combined love for foolishness. Greed started to dance on his arms now, jumping up and twirling like a ballerina while speaking.
"Look at me! I'm Batman! I'm on a never ending quest to stop crime because Bruce Wayne pays me to do it! Without that money from Bruce Wayne, I would be a clown in a cape! Woo!"

Batman was about to lose his temper, but eventually remembered something, something he hadn't needed to think about since his fight with Carnage. He drew out a special batarang from behind his utility belt, anf threw it about five feet away from Greed's face. The Batarang blinked blue for about five seconds, then switched to a solid red, and began emmitting an extremely high-pitch constant sonic blast, aimed right at Greed. Then, he said, "I don't accept money."
