MysticfawN EbilKitty MysticfawN The chance must be 50/50 or something, because there is a family in strangetown with an alien father, a human mother, and I think they have 2 kids, one alien and one human. I'm not certain though. Although I've been trying to populate strangetown with a lot of aliens, I haven't yet had one of the aliens have babies. Ooh! Is it possible for a sim from one town to meet someone from a different town? My alien is in Pleasantville but I'd really like her to meet the Strangetown family ninja Oh, not that I know of. sad Awww. Oh well, more stargazing for my males then wink

I just found my sims 2 game after having it packed up from moving so many times. I'm going to install it soon and hope my computer can handle it. It's been acting up lately. The only bad thing about it is that I went to the ea sims site and tried to register, because It's been so long since I've been there I forgot my login, well, I tried registering my code and it wouldn't let me because it had already been registered. Now I have the task of trying to remember my login that I used my code on. Well, at least I can still play the game, LOL

Ok, I don't know how you can do it, but for those of you who play, here will be me on May 21st. That will be the day I marry!! If anyone can get the character, I would love to know.

I didn't do it. John found this pic on the web. I don't know what or how he found it. Actually, I don't want to know what the search was for...
But, that is me in my dress!! May 21st is the date for the last day of faire. It is also the day he proposed to me. So we figured the two belong together.

simlizzy in thread Keeping Track I was just thinking how dressing the avatars reminds me of when I used to like downloading 'skins' for my sims game... too bad there are no such things as custom skins for Gaia... I used to be able to find everything from Faeries to TV personalities for the sims. I will never forget one download I had that was a dead Drew Carey to lay on the floor. Which was sad, cause I actually like Drew Carey, but since some of my stories got a bit bizarre, I never knew when i might need something like that redface I liked how in one of the expansions (house party?) if you had a really good party, Drew Carey would show up in a limo to your party and everyone would run out front to see, and listen to him talk, or think about him, all amazed. Oh! This should all really go in the sims thread (it would need to be revived!) (EDIT- I'm moving this reply from Keeping Track to The Sims!) but last night I was playing Sims 2 Nightlife, and after successfully getting my Karl Van Helsing sim to get bitten by a vampire from downtown, he asked her to move in, they got married, she got pregnant, had twins (they weren't vampire babies, but she keeps wanting to bite them, but she hasn't managed it yet) and then I forgot it was daytime and had Karl go out back to eat a piece of wedding cake the day after their wedding, and he burned up in the sun and turned to ash. Fortunately Contessa, his wife, pleaded with the Grim Reaper and he came back to life. Vampires are funny. They can fly around as bats, or stalk around instead of walking, and they sometimes go 'Bleh!' They sleep in coffins and their needs don't go down during the nighttime hours, oh, except mine REALLY diminished quickly during the day if they weren't in their coffins, and I thought this was normal, even though I'd taken all the windows out of their house, but then later I realized it was because I had extended Karl's bedroom to make room for two coffins when Contessa moved in, and it hadn't extended the roof across it, and that's why they were diminishing so quickly!

I think it was houseparty, or possibly later, but have had all the expansion packs so long I do not always remember what came in with what, although I remember how exciting it was when Living Large had RUGS! and 4 POSTER BEDS!!! and then House Party had PHONES with menus!!! as for Drew Carey, I could look in a book (we always bought those) or I could be lazy, but simmy is not available to ask at the moment rolleyes WickedUmmagine Vampires are funny. I *think* dad or someone was military... but I never went back, so I do not remember redface That would be General Buzz, I think his name is, and his blonde wife and two kids. They're in Strangetown, where there are some families with aliens. I haven't played that family yet. In fact, I've only played.. *counts* THREE game-created families for a short while, and all my others were self-created. I never play a family very long though, though, because when they're in a good place, I'm afraid of ruining them, and then I go on with another idea or goal and start anew with someone else.

EbilKitty I just started playing The Sims again a little while ago (not The Sims 2 yet, unfortunately) and I'm totally hooked whee First time around I had to stop playing after House Party, because my computer couldn't handle it. But I recently installed more RAM, and now the game is running just fine. Unfortunately I've missed a lot, pretty much everything from Hot Date and up... I have all the expansions now except Vacation and Superstar, and I'm absolutely loving Unleashed (wheeee, kitties! xd ). Sooo, what I was wondering was if anyone could recommend some good download sites? I'm especially looking for pet stuff (I've been looking *everywhere* for a different colored scratching post *lol*), and I guess also some good child skins. I love welldressedsim.com (got most my furniture there), but they also have very few pet items... Any suggestions? I prefer free sites, but if the items are extremely good I don't mind paying a little whee watch out i downloaded something and it gave my game a hotspot and it is ruined

That was kind of like my experience with the origianl Sims sequence... I would sit their 'plotting' my next family, or sometimes, a whole neighborhood... I will alway love the neighborhood I made where every family was named after a different color. The Green Family The Gold Family The White Family The Black Family The Brown Family The Silver Family The Balou Family The Auburn Family But the funniest ever was probably the family I made based on our pets... They husband was 'Ozzie' after our dog at that time, the wife was 'Cricket Marie' after you can guess who and the kids were named after several other pets... but the best part was their last name: Canifel (from a combination of the words CANIne and FELine rofl told you I have too much fun with those Sims sometimes heart
