Lilli felt her barrier being pushed back and she held the shield with all her strength. She looked up as the bird caused fire to fly back at her. No. Her strength would not go against her. She flicked her head and the fire burst into sparkles and fell harmlessly. No strength behind them, especially just reflected flames. She was determined to stand against this beast.

The old crow didn’t bother to move as a fragment from her ball of flame passed through her stomach, in fact her face remained quite unperturbed.
“It will take more than a splinter of myself to take me down, great chicken. I hope your next try is more creative.” Melis cackled as she flew rings around the great bird, dipping in every now and then to attempt to singe a feather or two.

Yoske struggles upward, no longer encumbered by her cloak. She had to get to the surface. The water stung her skin. She found her footing and leapt up, only to be pushed down, she struggled like this over and over. Sometimes, her hair would get in front of her face. It was still purple, thank the gods. She was feeling... heh... washed out from the struggle, but she could finally see brightness up above. She was close!she couldn't see far, but there seemed to be a big dark shape not too far off.

Veaka's eyes narrow. he could change shapes? Was he cheating?! No, because she knew it would've been too easy to have simply knocked her out. Great. He was taking the game to the trees... spires. icicle things. She leapt again at another spire, feeling the cold and the wet and the pain as she gripped the ice hard enough to give herself handholds. If he wasn't cheating, she couldn't cheat. Sometimes it was more fun NOT to cheat. Then you could play again without them not wanting to play. at least, she wouldn't cheat until it was absolutely necessary. being eaten wasn't something she wanted to do.
"C'mon Veaka! How do we win? Can we win? He can climb faster than us and its so cold. We gotta think" Veaka was too busy keeping track of the ice boy's movements, her wary eyes fixed and her muscles tense. If he jumped, she'd go to the next spire. "You think Orina. you're nice and safe." she muttered, eyes wide and scanning.
Orina sulked and thought. She even thought about crawling out of her nest of hair and fluttering around to take a look. But it was so cold! But did she want to die? No. She snuggled in, just to savor the warmth, then reluctantly made her way out of Veaka's hair, slowly and grudgingly.

'I'm going to get eaten..' that was triton's main thought as he caught the glimpse of the whale creatures sharp pointy teeth, definitely made for shredding and eating things..meat things..him shaped things.. Coughing as a small wave of water washed over him, ignoring his fear of the larger whale creature as he swam towards the red light, watching it bob high above the waves before floating lower, a flash of purple caught his sight to the side, a slight glow beneath the waves. Was that yoske he saw surfacing? It had to be she was alive! And..probably kaiba too..darn. Ah well one could only hope, besides he didnt wish to much bad luck on his little poe companion.
Focusing on the red glimmer of light, he reached up to try and grab it, wary of the waiting dark whale that may turn around to try and catch the same prize he was after.
A dim hazy little orange light hitting the surface of the water, the lanter bobbing above the waves before vanishing beneath them again, dragged about by a barely visible banshee like figure. The pair of ghostly undead entities appearing beside yoske, all eyes and bits of light as they attempted to lead the way to the surface, a bit of a guiding light..

Flash!
A bright red light seems to rip the world apart. Triton is transported back into the caves; there's no sign of the others. The tunnel Triton is in is very wet, along with his clothes.
It's cold. The tunnel leads back to the Entrance and to the left.
Group A2
Triton vanishes before the whale's eyes! It gives an ear splitting wail, snapping at the red light more.
Group B
The icy entity made it to the top of the spire, pausing to shake off a few icicles that had grown on to his skin. Casting his eyes around, he looked for Veaka and Orina. A grin lit his features as he spotted them, he leapt.
Up at the top of the spires, Veaka and Orina can see a sparkling red light far, far away on the other side of the cavern.
Group C
The bird flew off, annoyed. It placed the gazebo back on the large island and waited.

Yoske winces at the wail from the whale. she could feel it resonating strangely in her entire being. She had managed to glimpse that the dark shape was, indeed, a whale when she had managed to break the surface for a few moments before she was dragged under about a foot. She strugged back up, trying to move closer to the whale.

Veaka leapt quickly, landing and scurrying as quickly as possible, her every sense and wit focussed on her pursuer.
Orina grumpily eased her way out from veaka's hair, and immediately hated it. So COLD. It hurt and... ewww. she wasn't sure she'd rather be cold then be eaten. At least they would be warm. thought the fairy crankily.. then she got her first glimpse of her pursuer. Nevermind. Hes some sorta ice spirit. thought the Fairy even grumpier now. She quickly fluttered as Veaka leapt again.
Veaka wouldn't admit it, but her fingers were starting to both hurt and numb, and her legs were tiring, meaning she was ending up lower on the spires each time she jumped. she scrambled back as fast as she could, which was still fast. Very fast.
Orina circled upwards as Veaka climbed quickly, not looking at the pursuer at all. A strange glitter all the way across the room caught the fairy's keen eye. "Hey Veaka! whats that!" said the fairy, hovering at the top of the spire.
"Whats what?" grunted Veaka, eyes cold and purposeful, warily keeping track of the ice entity, not even turning away to glance at her fairy.
"That funny light..." Said Orina, almost annoyed, "its pretty and strange."
"Then you go look." said Veaka, glancing over the spires. She was planning a tricky set of jumps- a zigzag in an attempt to puzzle the pursuer, or at least buy some more time. she perched for a moment on top of the spire... and, with a glance back, she leapt to the one in front, got her bearings, secured herself, then jumped to the one to her right, climbed a bit for altitude, jumped again to one in front, a shorter one, and perched at the top, ready to go again, eyes and attention fixed on the entity and not on her aching, cracked, and bloody hands, sore legs, stomach, and chest, and painful feet.
Orina flew off sullenly. She could swear that she could feel the heat floating away from her iridescent gossamer wings as she flew off to inspect the glitter. it wasn't cheating or anything. Veaka was the one playing tag, not orina. and veaka had every intention of playing this high-stakes game of tag... to whatever finish it had.

Triton let out a sharp gasp, coughing as his lungs took in the frigid air around him. Lying there on his back still half blind from the bright light, now instead of the thick ocean he felt cold sharp stone beneath him. Groaning and simply laying there for a few moments, taking in his surroundings as he lay there and shivered..He was miraculously back in the cave..That light, it had been that little red light, it must have transported him here, but what about the others.
Sitting up quickly as he realized there was no one in the cave beside him, looking around in the dim light for a few moments feeling a great bit of guilt. That light had been a way out, but not for all of them. "Never..ever taking the left again.." he muttered coldly, bringing his knees up beneath himself as he ran his hands through his sopped hair, drawing the thick blond strands back from his face. Resulting to wait until the others arrived, even if he was soaked and cold..he would just have to sit and wait.
The little lantern and banshee entity that was kaiba and whinnie latched on to yoske's form. The poe simply could have pushed for the surface, but with that whale there..Deciding it was better to stay wrapped around the woman's ankle then to be swept away by the tide or swallowed like some fish toy.

It's still very cold. The tunnel leads back to the Entrance and to the left.
What do you do?
Group A2
The whale gives up in trying to eat the light. It circles about it warily. The water is still highly chaotic.
Group B
The red lights merely sparkle temptingly at Orina. It flicked about here and there, but just simply stayed the same.
"No!" The boy demanded, attention snapping towards the faerie. "Don't touch that! You're cheating!" He shouted in the unhappiest of tones. It left Veaka in order to pursue Orina, pushing his wiry body across the icy spires.
Group C
The bird waited.

Triton let out a deep sigh after sitting there and dripping and shivering for a few moments..Wondering if he should wait longer? If he went though they could follow his trail, not that itd be hard with all the soggyness he'd leave in his wake. Coughing and flicking his sopped hair out of his eyes once more, using the wall to stand after nearly slipping in his own slick puddle of sea water. He so wanted a bath after this..salt water was rather uncomfortable in certain places.."Which way to go.." glancing around following the dimness of the path, there was only one way to go really, back and to the left..trying to see further ahead but finding it to dark for him. Simply trudging along down the path, hopefully the others would be able to catch up to him.
The little lantern now kaiba..and the banshee whinnie combined, each grabbing one of yoskes hands and pulling until they had made it past the surface, the two ghostlike creatures swearing and cursing all the way, looking rather pissed as they were covered in clingy sea water. An evil smirk on kaibas face as he scanned the ocean finding his triton gone. Was his little companion swallowed by the whale? Feh either way they were getting the heck out of there! "Yoske my dear, you look rather drenched, hee hee, nice to see your smile for once though" the poe laughed, yelping along with his partner as the sea nearly sucked them back down, trying to keep them selfs afloat above the waves, and keep his lantern from going out, poor thing needed a dry place. "Come on then, lets get to that damned light..I swear if I see that cat again im going to light its tail on fire! Eh..no..no..Im going to bathe it in acid!!! Make it swim that dastardly little evil..annoying.." the poe ranted on angrily, keeping a wary eye on the whale as they pulled yoske closer to the light with them.
