"Interesting, I hope it isn't too mutch to hope that they are peacefull." Firu said quietly to the others.

Varnis wasnt sure what it was that he was looking at at first. Then realised that they where centuars. "Only one way to find out..." He replied to the question.

Perrian nodded as he saw the centuars. "Lets just hope they are peaceful, I don't want to know how good aim they have with their bows." Perrian said and gulped.

"Well..." Bellamin straightened his hat and walked forward.
"Sorry for the intrusion, but me and my comrades seem a little lost around here and we're wondering if you four rather lovely beings can help some lowley vagabonds like myself."
Although he souned confidence, all that was repeating in his mind was: "Please don't shoot me. Please don't kill me. I hate sharpened sticks, and flying ones aren't much better."

(I'm sooo sorry it takes so long for me to post. wake up at 5:30 get home at 11:00 with swollen ankles and a backpack still full with homework, that's me. sorry)
The blond girl in the middle begins to giggle, a smile lights up her face. She reaches behind her in the grass and you see a glint of gold, she pulls a elegant golden tiara up onto her hand and places it neatly on the freshly combed hair. meanwhile the two girls on her either side reach for there bows and place just one finger on them. They do not draw an arrow quiver or aim it in anyway.

((Ouch... That sucks. I've been steadily carrying less homework home each day. Although mabye thats because I've started to befriend the french-immersion kids and they help me with the majority of it. Hope your homework load lightens up soon.))
Bellamin stands there for a moment, then bows. Not out of knowledge, but simply because he really didn't know what to do. "Greetings?" He says cautiously.
((Insert oversized sweatdrop))
With his left hand, he beckoned to the others.
Uhh... Safety in numbers right? Whenever your ready guys.

Varnis stepped up to Bellamin when he signaled the others. He made sure not to make any threatening motions, and keeping his hands away from either sword, the Void Blade, or the short sword. "Nice to meet you three beautiful centaurs." He bowed making sure that he wasn't showing any kind of threatening gestures.
Right now they seemed non aggressive which was a good thing, but they seemed a bit uneasy. He made sure that he wasn't too close to them and stayed a foot or two behind Bellamin.

(I just have to say that for the sake of comedy it would have been awsome if Bellamin looked back and saw that we all had just taken off. But this is a serious story and we are all good people so that won't happen.)
Firu steped forward with his sword sheathed and sheild mounted on his back. He advanced to stand next to Bellamin and following his lead gracefully bowed to the young women. "Good day fair maidens, my friends and I have found ourselfs traped in this maze and are seeking its end."

Perrian put his staff away in his cloak and walked up next to Varnis. As the other men did, he bowed to them respectfully. "Greetings, fair kentaurides." Perrian said, somehow getting the new word intelligence from his little birdy friend sitting on his shoulder: the pheonix. "We're just looking for, I believe, the center of the maze? Could you, lovely ladies, please help us?" He said.
((Monica (aka: Truemaemonster) told me to tell you that they're kentaurides, not centaurs. Though, kentaurides are, technically, female centaurs, they are called different stuff. She just wanted me to tell you that. ^_^))

The blond Kentauride in the middle is still the first one to act. In a smooth elegant movement she raises lightly to stand. As she dose so her two companions raise also but they both grab there bows as they rise and before you can even see them move they have arrows out of the quivers on there back and have they strung there bows. They draw the bows but aim at the ground, watching with cautious eyes as the blond girl moves toward you. The middle girl gives a soft smile and almost gives off a warm glow as she offers her hand to Bellamin "Greetings little stranger, tis no intrusion. Why how many long and odd words flowed from your mouth at once." You know realize since she is so close and now standing exactly how tall she is. she raises almost two feet above your head thus you have to look up to make eye contact with her lightning blue eyes.

Jeez... Even with my favorite boots and my hat.
Bellamin tilted his hat back farther so he could get a better look. He thought of taking it off, but then remembered the rather embarrasing predicament with the gelatinous cube and his failed: "Instant cube solidifier" formula. A slight shiver goes down his neck remembering how he turned acidic jello into sticky jello sticking his hat to his head. But hey, atleast it doesn't want to melt through his skull just yet.
"Its a- Its a." Now that he thought of it, why did he use long words? "Tis but a habit, fair... kentauride... maiden!" He did not know the word Perrian just used, but it sounded all smart and accurate. "We are on a quest to..."
"Hey! Are we really looking for the center of the maze? I mean, why did we even go in here in the first place?" Bellamin turned and whispered to the rest of the group. A look of confusion appeared on his face. It mixed rather oddly with his confidence-smile.

"We came in out of interest...to do...something..." Perrian whispered to Bellamin. He shrugged. "Maybe ask them what is in this maze?" Perrian whispered to Bellamin and continued to whisper to Bellamin. "Because we're not going out of the entrance till we find a way to open it back up."

Eavesdropping being the ultimate female trait one would think that it would cross species line. So a female centurion princess would inherently process the trait only enhanced by there much improved hearing. She had waited to hear the oddly worded one speak again but as the time wore on she decided to quietly answer the whispering ones question. "Quite a number of young centaur lads have ventured to the center of this maze for an untold treasure. I think it must be only a myth for if such a prize was there to be won, a strong warrior like only the centaur kingdom can produce would have procured it in all this time. Even if it did exist our enemies make it so only the dead would ever know its wonder." She looked over all four odd beings. "I do not believe you would make it, yet even if you did you would never leave the maze with such a treasure alive." As she is speaking you do not notice that the noise of fighting stops. You now have no idea how close the male centaur are to you.

"Well, well. Do not underestimate the power of us outsiders!*"
Bellamin proclaimed.
"I dunno about my companions," he pointed behind him even though you guys were mostly beside him now, "but I have been maimed, burnt, cut, stabbed, slapped, smashed, frozen, electrocuted, and survived about thirty-five accounts of accute poisioning, ten cases of sever imbalance of humors... And about thirty-eight times I have had somebody** complain the ammount of alchohol I drank would kill an army."
"I think I can survive whatever horrors await me!" He leaned in to whisper.
"Though, I don't know about them. Hows the soil here? Any good for grave-diggin'?"
He smiled like he was joking, but then again he does smile that lopsided smile a lot when he's serious too...
*Outsiders: The fact that they came in to the labrynth. He's trying to sound epic.
**Bartender in the tavern; they're old 'friends'

Perrian sighed and shook his head. Though he didn't survive as much things, he has survived a lot, including being burnt a lot more times than Bellamin has been in his past. He chucked a friendly chuckle.
"Bellamin, I don't think any of us want to have graves dug. Anyway, this angelic healer wouldn't allow deaths." Perrian said, refering to his angelic sacrfice ability. "Least, of nobody 'cept I."
Perrian took his cross necklace (holy symbol) out from under his shirt and off of his neck and started playing with the chain that was on it. He twirled the necklace for a bit before putting in back on his neck and underneath his shirt. He, if approached with death, was protected because of that. Oh, and because of having an odd trait of being able to protect himself by turning a bit of himself into water. Oh, he thought to himself, how nice it is to be a water child and an angelic healer.
"Fine lady kentaurides, could you please help us get to the treasure then get out alive? We'd be more than willing to give you part of whatever we find. Hopefully, within that treasure, us outsiders will be able to find an item to find our way out of this time period into our own again. With such a marvelous force of you ladies to be reconed with, we'd definately be a good team." Perrian said politely and bowed to the kentaurides again.
