Jason flew down to where most of the team seemed to be having a heated disscussion. "Hey guy's I gotta agree with Jordan. Its almost noon and I still wanna try throwing the ball around a bit. You guys cool if I try being a chaser for a bit?"
He asked the question carefully, as if trying to thread a needle, but this needle seemed to be prime to blow at any minute. Please don't kill me. Please don't kill me................

"Guys I'm up here ready to play." Amelia shouted down to Jordan and Jason. "Seriously do I have an invisibility cloak or something that you guys don't even know that I exist? I told someone to toss me the quaffle for heavens sake." Counting out the number of players in her head, Amelia realized they had just enough for a team to pull off a game. "Guys should I get the crate so that we can let the bludgers loose and get a game going?" Amelia sincerely hoped that they would answer her this time cause Amelia offered to do things twice before saying F%$k it. .....

Sky had managed to slip out of sight for the first time in a long time. While Amelia was shouting at someone to toss her a quaffel he flew down to lay on the grass, which he was now doing. "Yeah, let's seriously get something down, enough screwing around." He said as he got onto his broom and flew back into the air. He flew back into position and awaited for the game to begin. He gave a yawn as he watched Jason's proposition. "Chaser? Are you quite sure? Amelia and Xurdion are quite the duo and they won't stand for those who fall behind. It's like jumping into the deep end of the pool before you know how to swim. It's not recommended." Sky had to admit, though, it would be interesting to see how Jason would do. At least he warned Jason before-hand so he wouldn't feel any guilt about it later.
Xurdion flew down and grabbed the quaffel which was stuck in the ground. "Alright, here you go Amelia." He said as he tossed Amelia the quaffel, he was still concerned that maybe she was just acting like she was better and may pass out at any moment but still, he didn't want to make it to evident. He heard what Jason said about trying to be chaser and then what Sky said about those who fell behind basically drowned in the deep end? "What?" He thought with a small smile, he actually thought it would be okay for Jason to try to be a chaser but he didn't think that he would be able to keep up with their tactics. "Amelia, what do you think?" A large smile had spread across his face now when he began to think about the cruel plays they could pull on the unlucky Jason.

"Thanks Xurdion" Amelia said as she caught the quaffle. Amelia had to ponder to think when Xurdion and Sky happened to mention Jason trying for chaser. 'Hm, the kid is not half bad. He could handle the quaffle and he has a decent throwing arm but what concerns me is I'm not sure if he is a good no wait scratch that, fantastic flyer to keep up with me and Xurdion.' Looking at Xurdion, Amelia crossed her legs and placed her left hand under her chin in a thinking pose when she replied, "Hmm, doesn't sound like a bad idea." 'Just as long as he doesn't throw the quaffle at my head this time.' Amelia thought angrily. "Let's see what he's got before we make a decision if he can keep up with us." Amelia noticed that look of concern on Xurdion's face. She knew that he believed she was faking feeling well just to get back on her broom and heck she couldn't blame him cause Amelia did it once before. Of course after that incident she did pass out during a match and landed in the hospital wing for two weeks but hey there was no way Amelia Marie Rochelle would miss a match unless she was dead. Amelia decided to try and ease Xurdion's fears a bit, "I really am fine Xurdion. Do you want me to do a backflip on this broom to prove it?" ........

Jason was severely offended that they thought that he'd not be able to "keep up". "I'm ready if you are. I promise I won't knock you off you broom though. Trust me though, I can keep up."

jeunotawny Jason was severely offended that they thought that he'd intentionally try and knock Amelia off her broom again. "I'm ready if you are. I promise I won't knock you off you broom though. Trust me though, I can keep up." [(I know I should make thoughts italicized but my computer wont let me. Just to let you know "the throw me off the broom" comment was a thought. Unless Jason can read minds he shouldn't know that)]

((Wait, what? I'm confused...But I'm going to post anyways. Also, jeuno, your post is WAY below the minimum.))
Xurdion smiled when Amelia said it wasn't a bad idea but they should see him at work first. Xurdion had already made his judgment about Jason and that wasn't about to change just because he got lucky. "He already made the decision for us when he was trying out for keeper. The problem is, I don't want to have to explain our plays to him and quite frankly, no offense, but I don't want him to know our plays." Xurdion didn't like this kid and he wasn't about to risk a play or two just because he wanted to join them to be chasers. When Amelia mentioned doing a backflip on the broom, Xurdion only smiled in response and looked away. "Fine, but I hope you think quick on your feet, Jason. You're going to need to for this play. Sky, if you would mind being keeper for a bit?" Xurdion looked towards Sky and awaited his response.
Sky listened to the conversation take place, how Jason had seemingly threatened to knock one of his team members of his broom. "I'm not to sure Amelia, don't let your good heart get in the way of your better judgment. This kid obviously gets a sick pleasure out of hurting his own team members." The way Xurdion had said it was rather frank and rude but it was still true. Risking a play for this kid wouldn't be wise but he knew Xurdion and Amelia would be more clever than to do something like that, they would probably improvise. Just as he guessed, Xurdion said the magic phrase. "Ah, that's a bit harsh, Xurdion. But sure, I'll be keeper." Sky laughed as he flew towards the goal posts and awaited for the play to begin. "Alright, I'm ready, let's do this."

From the way Sky and Xurdion were talking, Amelia sensed that they didn't trust Jason at all and that if they had a choice they would play Quidditch with just two chasers. "Come on guys ease up on him alright. We need another chaser and we can't just turn down Jason because he was acting like a total jerk before." In all honesty, Amelia really didn't want this kid to be on the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. For one, he had a really bad attitude and two, he was trying for every position that became vacant despite the fact he never played said position he was trying out for. The only reason why Amelia wanted Xurdion and Sky to give him a fair chance was because the Quidditch season was rapidly approaching and Ravenclaw still didn't have a full team yet. First they were missing a keeper and now that they got one, the team was now missing a chaser. 'Darn it Seth! Why did you have to drop out?' Turning her thoughts back to the boys in the air Amelia said, "Yes Sky I know I have a good heart but no it will not hurt me in the end. I really don't believe that Xurdion would let that happen ...." Amelia smiled at Xurdion before continuing, "....and Xurdion why don't we perform the basic plays if you really don't want to reveal our secrets to Jason. You know the ones." ......

Jason kicked off from the ground and floated up to the two chasers. "Ready." He relaxed mostly, while still keeping an eye on the quaffle. "What's the play? Guys you can relax a little I'm not going to hurt you guys. My wand is down near Kani and it was an accident when I nearly knocked Amelia off of her broom." Okay this is getting annoying. I honestly never wanted to hurt Jordan in the first place and nearly knocking Amelia off her broom was a complete accident. They should be able to trust me enough to try and let me try a few advanced plays. After all i've played enough quidditch that I can do them.

Lori smiled, flying up to her teammates. "Lets cut the chitchat and start playing!" She said, grinning. Taking out her wand after a minute or two of searching, she waved it once, stuffing it back in immediately afterwards. Looking around a second later, Lori barely managed to duck as a bludger flew towards the spot that used to be where her head was. "Watch your guys' heads," Lori warned. A second later, yet another bludger flew towards Lori straight-on, slamming her in the stomach. "Gah," she coughed out as the thing pushed her off her broom. As she struggled with the ball, Lori's dark broom flew under her, catching the seventh year and raising her up. A minute later, the ball stopped moving. After coughing a few times, Lori straightened. "The good thing about my set is that after a minute or so, the stupid ball tends to pretty much turn off. Once it's thrown up, though, it turns back on." Lori grinned. "My parents got it for me after a nasty crack in the skull from a bludger." She laughed lightly. "Now that hurt."
((I dunno what to do with Sophie. Maybe I can make her go emo... Hm... XD ))

"WOAH" Amelia shouted as she ducked and incoming bludger. "Damn it Lori, at least let us know when you are going to summon something especially when the object you summon can possibly take off our heads!!!!" Amelia shouted as she shook off the bludger attack. 'That's it! First thing after this "practice" is over I'm talking to Vlaityn about no wands being allowed into the air.' "You think one headache isn't enough for me today?" Amelia really wasn't mad at Lori, just frustrated that the seeker couldn't shout out a warning that she was summoning the bludgers. Then Amelia noticed the last bludger hit Lori's stomach then not long after Lori grabbed it, the bludger calmed down. 'Must be the set her parent's got her. Yea she just said it was her set now.' Amelia thought to herself while Lori was joking about her incident when a bludger cracked her skull. "Where did your parents get those bludgers anyway? My dad has been trying to get of those bludgers since I broke my arm and leg last fall." .....

Lori giggled. "Sorry, Amelia. I forgot." Smiling sweetly, Lori clutched to bludger to her tightly. "Um, I think my dad got it from Vatican City," she said, answering Amelia's question. "He was there anyways, something about a dude. He doesn't give me much more info than that because of secrecy and stuff." Lori shrugged, looking around for the second bludger. It had been there a second ago..., she thought, looking at the forest, wondering if it had flown in there...
"Watch out!" Sophie shouted, zooming towards what looked like Jordan's head. Leaning forward, Sophie barely missed his head, instead flying towards a black ball that had been flying quickly towards the boy. Reaching out her hands, Sophie braced herself as the bludger hit her chest. Ignoring the pain that came from her cracked and/or broken ribs, she quickly wrapped her arms around the ball, waiting for one agonizing minute as the ball struggled. Sighing gladly as the bludger calmed down, Sophie flew over to Lori. "Yours," she stated, shoving them in Lori's arms. Taking out her own black wand, Sophie looked around. "Anyone know any good healing spells?" Sophie asked, waving her wand around.

"Healing spells has never been my forte. Last time I tried to heal someone they ended up with a horn growing out of their head." Amelia said to Sophie after watching her take a hard hit to the chest by a bludger. 'These bludgers are becoming more of a nuisance than the real ones. Last year we only had one injury during the season and now we have Lori and Sophie hurt before the season has even started.' "Anyway, now that you can all have a laugh at the seventh year's inability to perform healing spells..." Amelia paused to wait for the laughter and then continued. "...Ask Xurdion. He can probably help you out." .....
