Isaac didn't mind his hair being messed up, all he did was shake it down for a hair style anyway. When Emma was finished he did just that, shaking his head a little violently, but quickly. And of course, after the shaking, he had to nod to Matt. "Gene Clancy... I don't get a very good vibe from him..." Isaac thought, he had felt funny just when Gene walked past. He turned his attention then to the bloodlust rolling off of Emma.

"What!" Emma shrieked when Kiro asked who she was. "How the hell do you not know who I am!?" Emma was tempted to punch him, stab him, and go sulk in a corner all at the same time. She turned to Isaac then, "You're getting bumped to the back of the line. I'm killing him in that arena!" Emma yelled defiantly. Whether or not Kiro remembered her from this, didn't matter.

Train whistled a little as he passed Malkin on his way away from the Storage building. He needed to pick up more tag seals. He had been busy with some random hunters from around the headquarters earlier. It was about time for him to drop several off and pick up some new ones, obviously. He had finally gotten the chance to do so, but what he really wanted to do was eat. He was even crankier than usual when he didn't eat.

Both eyes were half closed when the women gave him the seals. Even though she was in a decent mood from Malkin's visit, she knew better than to try and mince words with Train when he wasn't the one that struck up the conversation. He grabbed the seals and stalked out, giving a small wave of gratitude, that was very forced. His next stop was the Mess Hall. And he was going to tear the throat out of anyone that dared to speak to him. And he always walked as if he was going to shoulder tackle someone, preparation in case someone approached him on his right side.

"Oh! I remember you now." Kiro said suddenly, apparently not paying much attention to her anger towards him. "Sorry about that Emily. You know my mind is a little off because of the way I grew up. Remembering names isn't my strong point." Kiro concluded out loud in front of everyone.

Turning a corner once away from the group he kept looking for the cafeteria, lost again.
"God I hate this damn building. Can't find anything. My own fault but still," Malkin trailed off noticing the guy he passed while leaving the seal place, he noticed he was rather pissed off. Hell, he might know where the cafeteria is. he thought to himself following behind him a little, waiting for a moment to ask, but completely unhurried in looking for the moment.

Aries looked at William, "Alright." He smiled, gave a nod and then walked on, "We'll make sure to be done by lunch, eh." He looked back to say it, only for a moment before continuing on his way. He went down the corridor, past Harry, whom he gave a slight wave to, and made his way into the elevator. Holding, waiting for William to step inside.

William followed after Sol, informing Harry on the way out that the cage needed to be cleaned, and stepped into the elevator. He instructed the crank men to take the lift back up to the ground floor. When the lift opened to the correct floor William stepped out into the lobby.

"Are you going to come with, or do you wanna wait in one of the arenas?" William asked of his friend.

Matt leaned down and nudged Isaac, gesturing at the other two Hunters. "Check this out. I think Kiro's gonna get his butt whupped." He whispered to The smaller Hunter.

"I'll wait for you in one of the arenas, your choice, just there isn't a reason for me to go to where your dropping the scroll off." He smiled a little bit, and Aries looked at William, "Please do let the crank men know where I'm going though." He almost chuckled a bit, but managed not to.

William turned to the crank men. "Arena number 3, 3rd floor." He shifted his attention back to Sol, "I'll be back in just a little while. Try not to get too bored waiting for me."

William turned about and walked out of the Arena building. He made his way southwest of the center of the Corps, to the building designated Sealed Fiend Spirit Storage. He entered the building and went up to the low counter, behind which sat a middle aged woman. He knew this woman as Joan.

"Hey, Joan, how are you today?" William asked.

"Good, been a slow day. Actually, it's been a slow week."

"Don't worry, I'm sure it'll pick up again soon. Give those fiends the slightest reprieve and they spread like wildfire, reaping destruction as they go. Give it a couple days, max, and we'll be bringing in seals by the hour. By the way, I happen to have one here."

"You had a mission?"

"Nah, just some training."

"Oh, well, alright. give it up."

William handed over the scroll and signed the sheet that she passed across to him. He passed it back after scrawling his name on the line.

"I'll take care of the rest of the paper work." Joan said.

"Thanks, Joan, you're awesome. Have a good day." William said to her.

"You too."

William walked out of the building and bgan making his way back to the Arena.

Aries exited the elevator, walking out towards the middle of the arena floor, "Hmm..." Hope he's not too long, he thought to himself. Once he got to the center of the arena, or at least what he assumed was the center, he began some basic twirling of his metal staff. Slowly it spun from one side to the other and back again, getting faster and faster, building until he was only able to maintain it. This had been one of the first parts of his training.

William entered the Arena and walked across the lobby to the lift, which still wasn't all the way back down, where it normally stayed until called for. It only took a few moments for the the crank men to lower the lift back to the ground floor, they engaged the locks and pulled the gates open so that William could enter.

"Third floor, right?" One of them asked.

"Third floor, yes, thank you." William answered.

The crank men disengaged the locks and lifted the platform up the three levels to the 3rd Arena. They reengaged the locks and opened the gate and William walked out, thanking them again as he did.

William walked out to one of the four circular arena rings on the third floor to see Sol with his staff whirling around him, seeming almost likt a solid disk of metal in front of him.

"Nice form, Sol, but you'll need more than basics to take me on." William said as he stepped up into the ring, drawing his katana backwards with his right hand and flipping it around into a normal grip. He reached around behind with his left hand and drew his kukri knife from it's sheathe on the back of his waist. "Ready for this, Sol? Let's give each other everything we've got."

"More than basics indeed." He smiled, "I'm just warming up."

To show what he meant, and to be a little showy. Aries broke the pattern, maintaing the speed as he brought it around his body, over his head, the movements taking the staff then to his left side, then to his right and finishing with a move where he whirled the metal staff behind his back, up over his shoulder and slammed on end into the arena floor so that the staff now stood still, and vertically in front of him. It had all happened in barely more than an instant it seemed. Aries chuckled and closed his eyes, not that it mattered whether he kept them open or not, it just himself a feeling of focus.

"I wouldn't spar with you any other way." His smile grew to make a grin, he couldn't help it really, sparring other members of Calivert was one of his favored pastimes.

He then raised his right hand, free of the staff, and waved for William to come at him. His stance was wide, leaning slightly towards the left. After the wave, he brought the hand to the center of the staff, his other hand meeting it, and in a fluid and timeless movement, turned the staff so that it was horizontally in front of him.

William snapped his weapons out to his sides, low and at 45 degree angles to his body. His eyes narrowed as he focused his attention, readied his mind for the impending battle. He breathed in deeply and then exhaled slowly calming himself and tensing his body simultaneously. He advanced slowly, steadily. His mind and body ready, his weapons extensions of himself. He neared his opponent, Sol, stepping just inside his range of attack. He paused there, for a moment, to see if the other man would take the initiative and launch the first strike.

Aries smiled as William stopped, and then with a slight shift of his hands, a loud clicking sound was heard and died away in the suspense. The staff still look as one single piece, but Aries knew otherwise, and maintain the visage of his stance prior to the maneuver. Like tossing stones into a pond.
"Come now William I thought for sure you would've attacked outright." Aries smiled, his appearance calm and bearing on statuesque. He basked in the suspense of the impending battle, but was not going to be the one to make the first attack.

"I learned long ago, and gained many scars in the process, that rushing headfirst into battle is not always the wisest course." William retorted.

William suddenly burst into motion. dropping forward into a low stance while twisting slightly and lunging forward in a straight thrust with his katana, Legacy. He kept his left hand at his side, kukri clasped tightly, ready to deflect any counterattacks.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 12, 2009 6:50 pm

"Indeed." He bowed with his head just before William attacked.

Just as William had, Aries did as well, the visage of their figures still and then a flying clash of metal as the fight began, fore he brought his hands apart, the staff splitting into two, equal parts. His right hand flipped it's grip on the metal rod and brought it down, so as to guide William's thrust to his side. His left hand then launched forward as a left cross, if not blocked or countered, the rod would strike the right side of William's face.
Aries ever aware thanks to his unique sight was watching his allies weapons, even the potential ones he kept watch of. Along his movements to flow from his years of training.

William allowed his blade to be deflected to the side and simultaneously whipped his left hand up bringing the bent blade of his kukri in line with Sols coming right handed strike. He kept his left hand up, to keep the staff section locked against it, and snapped his right blade, his katana, up and over Sols leading left staff section aiming for a shallow thrust towards the other mans head and neck area.
